Free Dove Delights
Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features gifts from a few different designers found at The Free Dove, where all you need is their free group tag to claim a bounty of high quality gifts. The Free Dove has been a mainstay in SL for new and longtime residents alike since 2005, to find generous gifts to help boost our wardrobes and introduce us to some of the talented folks who create fashion and accessories for us. Landmarks are provided in each gift so we can thank them by patronizing their stores, and I have wound up doing so on many occasions. Xan visited the store with me, and he picked up a few gifts for himself as well, so be sure to pass the word to any male avatar wearers that they can find some treats here too. There is a Mens display, plus several individual designers' displays have male and female gifts.
Moonstar has their own display with several gifts waiting for you, including this flirty Mesh Dionne Latex Dresses, Necklaces and Shoes. Our dress with peekaboo openings and daringly short skirt comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, plus a HUD with 4 color choices. There are matching necklaces (blue, green, purple, and red) with resize scripts built in, and shoes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink High, and Tonic mesh feet. The shoes are in a neutral black that matches the background of all the textures for the dress, so this full outfit has us dressed in style from head to toe. There is also an Omega applier for stockings, not shown as I am not wearing a compatible body (Slink Hourglass Redux, BOM only) but I assure you they are a nice touch.
There is nothing quite like relaxing with your special someone in something flirtatious, and with that in mind I would like to recommend another of Moonstar's gifts at Free Dove. This is their Mesh Mini-Hearts Lingerie x 6, a single piece outfit with nightie and panties that is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a handy HUD that lets you pick from 6 pretty colors, like the red on the left or the gold on the right, so what is your sweetie's favorite color on you? :)
Next I would like you to meet Valerie, which is this lovely Soft Pink Dress by Moonstar that you can also find at their Free Dove display. It comes in Altamura Sofia, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. I was drawn to the abstract pattern and flirty halter style, not to mention that bright pop of color that really catches the eye.
I also explored one of the Womens Casual displays at The Free Dove, and excitedly claimed this gift from {Chaotic} called Cherry Dress. It consists of the dress in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with an Omega applier for panties. Since I am wearing the Redux Hourglass body from Slink that is not compatible with appliers (BOM only), I had to go commando for this image, LOL! I would not do that out and about, but for a quick photoshoot it was fine :) That skirt is fluttery enough that panties are a great idea, and I love the bold golden belt beneath the crimson top.
My final look of the evening is an electrifying dress from [>Ma'De<] called Alexa Choco, which can also be found on a Womens Casual display at Free Dove. This strapless metallic leather dress comes in classic sizes (S, M, L) with mesh body versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The sheen makes me think the dress has materials enabled, and the color is as flattering as the style.
It was a really enjoyable day here, mostly spent at a farmers market then watching multiple hockey games. I usually only watch one team's, but found out on twitter that one of the evening games had something interesting happen (one team's goalies were both injured so they had to use an emergency backup, who is 42 and usually drives a zamboni, so it was surprising that he did well) and then another game went into overtime. Then they showed some of the Los Angeles game because Snoop Dogg was commentating, LOL, and he is so funny! He is enthusiastic about the game, so it was fun to listen to his thoughts on things.
