Group Gifts for SLFO

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I randomly encountered a few SLFO group gifts that I just had to share, so I tracked down even more and here we are :) SLFO is the SL Frees & Offers group, and is free to join. I've found their notices and chat immensely helpful over the years, and am always grateful for the generous gifts too of course. These could all be changed out for a new one at any time, so I do recommend that you hurry if you see something you simply must have. You wouldn't be the only one to feel that way ;)

My first look of the evening is our MUNEREIA - [VARA] V1a gift, which is a lovely halter dress with full short skirt. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 20 fun textures. Most of them are Southwestern type patterns, with lovely geometric elements in beautiful colors.

I also visited BlondeQueen and picked up their stunning BQ::Aline Mini Top & Skirt:: Black Pinstripe gift for SLFO. The buttoned strappy top and low cut mini skirt each fit Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I really like the asymmetrical hemline and the way the top comes to a point in the back, such fun details that help add up to a great look.

I might need to watch the Barbie movie again after enjoying our Melody BABY// SLFO GIFT dress :) The gingham pattern brings the sweet, while the short hem and sheer midriff panel brings the flirty. We receive Kalhene, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes of this cutie, upstairs near their paid group's gifts and lucky boards.

Next we see the beautiful TRS Designs - Lauryn Dress Purple, a gift just for SLFO group members. The soft lilac shade makes me happy, and the sleeveless style will be fun in the spring and summer too. The dress is included in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There are other colors available as gifts for different groups as well, so (as always!) be sure to check the rest of the wall for groups you're a part of.

We wrap up the evening in our AVAgirl - Aelia Dress gift, which is a beautiful way to do so :) The layered skirt looks so pretty beneath the tails of the belt and bow, and the neckline is ideal for showing off cleavage and perhaps framing a favorite necklace. Our gift includes Erika, Gen X Classic, Classic Dainty, Gen X Curvy, Curvy Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, as well as a BOM pair of panties and a HUD for the dress. The HUD offers 3 colors each for the top, belt, and skirt portions, so we can mix and match to get the look we prefer.

The snow arrived here earlier than expected, so I did not go anywhere today and probably won't tomorrow either. Sometimes the weather is a pain in the booty, and dinner with my parents wasn't really going to be possible tomorrow because of their possibly still being contagious anyway so I'm just trying to stay warm and cozy. Designer News Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a bit of a tour, taking us to several participating Designer News group's designers. The group is currently free to join, and each store can offer a group gift if they wish, so I had a lot of fun hopping around and seeing what I could find :) I'd had a few spots bookmarked from prior visits that I saw various group gifts, so you'd get a kick out of the weird notes in the names of my landmarks as I'll abbreviate the group names a bit oddly. Otherwise I visit stores who have posted group notices recently, to see the sales items and look for a gift while I'm there.

My first look of the night comes from Mu-Shi Doll and is their flirty MD "Bonita" Outfit - Leo. Our leopard print bodysuit fits Freya, Isis, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh bodies. It's got a fun popped collar and is open all the way down to the waist, where an attached belt encircles and shines with gold trim. I had a laugh following my old landmark since they are now a couple thousand meters lower, LOL, so I did some falling and flailing until I located their new spot :)

If you're feeling a bit naughty, head over to ANGEL"s JEWELRY and claim their AJ_outfit BADGIRL. Its top and panty each come in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Rolls sizing, and they are both decorated in such fun ways :) The top's got garter straps and stunning artwork on the front, then "BAD GIRL" on the back with horns above the B and D. Meanwhile the panty has the same bad girl image on the front, and a sassy handprint on the back. I'm a big fan of the hot pink and white color combo too.

Just because an outfit has a knit texture doesn't mean it has to cover every possible inch of skin, right? :) .::BE BOLD::. Group Gift #7 is their treat for Designer News (one of many for various groups) and is a playful sleeveless dress with halter neck and deeply scooped back that shows off a tiny glimpse of bum cleavage. The sizes included are for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, along with a HUD that offers 3 colors of the same texture. 

One of my go-to locations for this type of group gift (multi-designer groups that is) would be V8 Underground, and my visit clearly paid off today. Their **CHANDRA SONWIL SET UNIVERSAL HUD 6 TEXTURES** treat for us is a tank top and shorts set to bring out your inner girl boss, since that's what it says on the front of the top and the back of the shorts :) They both fit Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and as I'm sure you gathered from the name, it also has a HUD with 6 colors for each piece. Mixing and matching can be lots of fun, and I feel like this would be a comfy look for lounging around with Xan too.

My final look tonight is our :::[FurtaCor]:::Anis Set gift, and it really speaks to the Boho hippie style fan deep inside :) I was born in the early 70s after all. The top combines bare shoulders with a tied front to show off a bare midriff, then the long maxi skirt rides a bit low on the hips for the same sexy effect. The top is provided in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, while the skirt comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. You know I'm also about to tell you that there's a HUD included too, right? That offers 14 patterns and 14 solid colors for the top, with 2 patterns and 6 colors for our lovely skirt. For the most part the skirt looks like denim in its various textures, a fabric I also associate with my 80s teenage years so I am always drawn to that material as well.

It was a quiet day here, as my planned outing had to be temporarily postponed due to the housemate being too drained after running errands for my parents. I appreciate their helping my parents that way while they're sick, so I do not mind waiting :) I had to reboot my pc 4 times earlier for its Windows updates, and the poor thing isn't even Windows 11 compatible so this is just crap for 10. It was just annoying when I thought it was done after the first two, so reopened browsers and started doing things when a few minutes later it popped up again. Oh well, at least rebooting doesn't take as long as it used to, those days of waiting 15 minutes for the system to restart are long gone and not missed.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're headed to AMUI, a store who has always been quite generous to their own group and many others. There are over a dozen group gifts available for their currently free group, and they have rearranged things but I was also able to find 5 lucky chairs upstairs :) If you hurry, they even have a gift card as a free group gift near the front door (walk in and turn right) so you can choose your own treat for the new year.

The first group gift I slipped into this evening is called .:AMUI:. "Isolda" Set. The name implies a separate top and skirt, but they are actually linked to wear as one piece in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 20 textures each for the top and skirt portions, so we choose our top texture first and it applies to the entire dress at once. Then we can pick a different skirt color or print instead of we so desire :) While many of the textures are solid colors, there are some lacy and sheer options too, so be sure to give them all a try.

I also wanted to show off their .:AMUI:. "Robin" Dress group gift, a deep blue denim tank dress with racing stripes down the side. The gift includes Kupra, Bimbo, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes.

My next look is named .:AMUI:. "Autumn" Dress, but this group gift can work with any time of year if these warm earthy colors are you personal preference. I love the single long sleeve and bare shoulder, making for a very chic style :) We receive sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, along with a HUD that lets us select from 5 different textures. The one on the left above actually reminds me of New Year's, gold sequins being a popular sight at the beginning of this month.

I'm also a big fan of the way the straps cross in the front and back, double the fun :) This group gift includes sizing for Erika, Kupra, Natural, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is one I was fortunate enough to win from a lucky chair upstairs. "Cherisse" Dress & Wedges - 11 prize, with both our leather mini dress and platform heels in a charming pale blue hue. I appreciate the tan cork texture on the heels, very fitting for that style of shoe, and it is fun to play with these high heels in SL when in RL my lack of balance would never permit it ;)

Still Cold Outside, Baby

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm very pleased to share some more hunt prizes and exclusive offers from CMH Baby It's Cold Outside 4. This hunt does last for the entire month, and there are $1L prizes along with $25L and $50L exclusives created just for the hunt, so we can have a great time exploring each participating store looking for the hidden snowflakes. Random unrelated fun fact, lol, the most recent thing I put on my amazon wishlist was a pair of pajamas but with owls rather then kitties, yet these did make me think of how much I appreciate warm layers of clothing to wear for lounging or sleep.

There are wonderful treats to find at ART & FASHION as well, like this stunning $1L WINTER FASHION OUTFIT. Its vivid yellow gold color suits the mini dress and strappy boots quite well, and the dress has intricate scissors and writing as its art portion of the fashion :) There are Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes included for each piece. I really like the playful opening on the bodice, and the ruffled hem that rises up a little in the rear. 

Whew, Mondays sure are fun...I did go out briefly to a nearby CVS and picked up a few little things, and my anxiety was definitely having a field day by the time I was headed home. These outings are essential though, to remind myself that I can safely go out :) I am a bit tired now as a result but that's okay, I'm here and blogging and ready to plan the next post. Fabulously Free

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to feel fabulous with some FabFree group gifts :) That would be the FabFree in SL group, just like their incredible blog that has been a consistent guide for all of my 17 years in this virtual universe. The group is free to join, and there is a list of gifts on the website so you know where to visit and what you'll find at each store. I usually scroll down a bit to things I haven't shared yet but might be due to change out soon, so you don't miss out on them :) There are so many generous designers listed here, and their skill is noteworthy too so these are really high quality gifts that I deeply appreciate.

My first look of the evening is the Belle Epoque - Shadia - GG outfit. This beautiful pairing of bra top and mini skirt are each provided in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, with a HUD that lets us choose from 10 lovely colors. The whole outfit tints at once, easy to wear and enjoy.

I also had fun visiting [ZEX] to claim their Pretty Top & Skirt * Pink gift, which definitely lives up to its name :) We receive the top, skirt, and matching belt, each in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The top has slender dropped sleeves to show off bare shoulders, and it's tied very loosely in the front so our cleavage is on display. The shade of vibrant pink is a real head-turner too, and I'm sure we'll be seeing even more of that hue next month.

Next I slipped into the stunning Petry Model --> Dress AXZW gift for FabFree. It's one of many they are offering for various groups, and it has such a flirty style with the halter top tied to the tight miniskirt. There are sizes for Erika, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. Once again I am reminded of our being just about a month away from a romantic holiday, thanks to the dusting of soft pink hearts on the material.

Next stop is {Poeme}, for their charming Big City Kitty Dress w/HUD. I do love a nice wrap dress, and this beauty fits Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The gift also includes a HUD with 3 color choices, the two above and a spicy red hue. It would be hard to pick a favorite, but I usually gravitate towards purple so maybe I'd say that one.

My final look tonight is the *Shining* Yomali Mini Dress gift for FabFree. I was so impressed when I tried it on, thanks to the shimmery satin, embroidered midriff, and beautiful sparkles on the top. The dress comes in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a separate 'shine gems' layer in the same set of sizes. There are gems visible on the bodice without adding that layer, so adding it seems to provide the sparkling animation effect that doesn't translate well into my still images but is really gorgeous :) I'm sure you can tell that there is also a HUD, which offers 20 colors each for the dress and the gems.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was okay, although my mom is now testing positive for covid too so I'm concerned about both parents. It is mild for both of them so far, and they are now both on medication for it so I am feeling optimistic that they will get through it smoothly. Initially my mom was in denial, saying she thinks it's a sinus infection and her test expired the day before she took it so she wouldn't trust it. Sigh. New test = same result, and well my dad definitely has it so I fully expected that she would contract it too. It stinks but we are keeping in touch online daily and the medicine is already helping my dad feel a bit better. Otherwise I had therapy earlier and that was productive, and I'm trying to decide where to go for my outings this week, weather permitting. Can't Keep Quiet about #SHOOSH

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to invite you to the #SHOOSH store, where the group is currently free to join and the benefits are plentiful. This tight minidress has a classic plaid print on it, and the back view shows several slender straps crisscrossing their way over our back. My final look of the evening is a fun choice for roleplay if you're so inclined. It is called #SHOOSH - Maid Outfit [BUBBLEGUM] and yes it is another lucky board prize :) The name definitely matches that fun shade of bright pink, and the fabric is a dreamy latex with lots of shine. I like that the bodysuit, apron, and even wristband on the right wrist are all worn as one easy piece, in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. 

It was a stressful day that started with a phone call from my parents that they had to cancel dinner tonight because my dad has had some cold symptoms since Monday and they were hoping it'd go away but no such luck. They had 2 covid tests left and each took one, she's fine but he tested positive :( So their doctor put him on paxlovid, which is $25 with his insurance but would be $1,920.99 without insurance 😱. Yikes! I am grateful that his symptoms are mild so far, but it is nerve-wracking to know that he is an 81 year old cancer patient with a potentially dangerous illness. At least I know he is very conscientious about his health in general and will keep an eye on any symptoms that try to stick around. I'm also concerned that she could catch it from him and it was just too early to show up on her test, because both members of a household being ill at the same time is the pits. Fingers crossed that the meds do their thing and that my mom stays healthy :) We are getting snow in a few hours, possibly 1-3" this time, so I'm unsure if I will be going out this weekend but I do have my usual virtual therapy session on Sunday regardless. Baby It's Cold Outside

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is full of fantastic prizes and exclusive offers for the CMH Baby It's Cold Outside 4 hunt. This round makes me smile because I am not much of a fan of RL winter, but in SL we don't have to worry about being snowed in or getting windburn just for walking out to the mailbox, lol, so I can get deeply into the spirit of the season :) 

My first look of the evening is our $25L exclusive offer from Simple Terms, called Frosted Firs Outfit. Its jacket's pattern of snowy trees in a chilly evening forest immediately caught my eye, and then I wondered if the firs/furs pun was intentional ;) The cozy white fur trim makes me feel so snuggly! Our prize consists of the jacket, pants, belt with wallet, and boots to fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Lara X mesh bodies.

I'm just now realizing that the coat is a different color than pictured in the photo on the hunt website, so I'm thinking it is possible that the bloggers got sent this color by mistake. I had slipped out of it on the right to show you what the romper looks like on its own, just a little more versatility potential :)

Don't leave GoodVibes just yet, or you'll miss out on even more flaky goodness! They have three $1L hunt prizes too, two of which are the Snow Good t-shirt on the left above and their Frosty t-shirt on the right. The $25L exclusive offering this round is their HOT CHOC WEATHER Tee, another one I agree 1000% with :) The text reads "Today's Forecast Hot chocolate weather" above and beneath a steaming mug of cocoa with little marshmallows. The dark blue background is also accentuated by snowflakes similar to our hunt object, emphasizing the forecast calling for hot and yummy beverages. Both of these are provided on their unpacking HUD which lets us pick from standard sizing or eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. Just deliver what you need right now, and hang onto your HUD for future reference. The jeans are my favorite Delizio marketplace freebie, well at least the blue pair from their free fatpack ;)

My final look of the night is from Harambee-Gwassi, and it's called Fire-red new year Minidress Stole thong. This is a $25L exclusive offer, and it starts with the lovely red single sleeved dress in sizes for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The thong fits Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and our black fur stole is unrigged so we can adjust it if needed. I must admit, that stole is looking like something I want to pair with all sorts of other outfits I own too :) The dress looks great with or without it, so if you wear it when/where it isn't so chilly you can leave the stole at home. Side note, I always appreciate visiting this store because their purpose is to raise money for a charity in Kenya to help with schooling there.
