Addicted to Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I hopped around the grid to find gifts for the *Addicted to offers and gifts* group, which is currently free to join. These multi-designer groups are a fantastic source of info, as the designers can send notices about their new releases and special sales as well as offering treats for the group's members in their stores. I'm happy that there are so many for us to enjoy :)

Our first stop is Andare, to pick up their lovely Robin Dress FATPACK gift. It feels very summery with the bare arms, floral pattern, and intriguing hemline that shows off plenty of leg :) There are sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Signature Alice, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included. We also receive a HUD with 11 colors apiece for the top, straps, belt, and skirt, so we can mix and match to our heart's content. Note - this gift was next to a 30L$ 30M sign rather than the group's sign, a fact I discovered by area searching for the group name :) 

Speaking of beautiful floral designs, the [K-Style] KARINA DRESS #17 group gift is a bodycon strapless dress that is blooming with pink roses and soft greenery on the fabric. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and I think it will be easy to dress up or down depending on the accessories you choose. 

The next step after wet t-shirts must be wet tank tops, right? Our Tchelo's gift is their T TOP Wet'n wild, and it certainly lives up to the name :) There are sizes for Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature, Hourglass, Physique, Star, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. Also included are a BOM layer of water drops that appear on the upper chest, and a HUD with 8 textures including the white wet one on the left above. The others, even another white one, are solid colors. It's worth noting that I am wearing nipple covers that came with my skin, otherwise I think they would be fairly visible through the wet looking fabric.

Melody is a wonderful store whose owner seems to be the creator of this group, and so it makes sense that they are offering not just one but two generous treats for the members. This is the Sarabi// FATPACK gift, with top and skirt in sizes for Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn each, plus a HUD that lets us choose from 26 colors each for the top, top ruffle, and skirt. I love the versatility of lace like this flirty ruffle, really bringing something special to our look.

My final look this evening is their other treat called Melody Camela Gift Melody Christmas 23-24, and despite the name I think it is appropriate to wear any day of the year :) This sexy dress comes in sizing for Classic, Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD which offers 20 colors apiece for the top, strap, skirt, and clasps, plus 3 metals. The daring side opening makes me think that a c-string (maybe one from last night's post!) would come in very handy here :)

Khaos Kreations

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Khaos Kreations store, which is relatively new to me so I'm glad to have the opportunity to visit them. Their group is free to join, and this location has 2 lucky chairs as well as a shelving unit full of group gifts for us to enjoy :) We need to right click each one and pay $1L, but it's automatically refunded while the gift is delivered to us. It creates a record of the transaction so we can easily get a redelivery if necessary, and I'm guessing if the designer updates the item in the future they can send out the update to everyone who has the original version. I hung out for a while without much luck on those chairs, but I've got plenty of generous group gifts to share :)

My first look is the [.KK.] Lana Dress - Sequins V2 group gift. It makes me want to go dancing because of the lush layers, and you can see a tiny glimpse on the front left (my left, photo right) of the skirt where it catches the light in my skybox :) This beauty is provided in Classic, Curvy, Erika, Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. 

Nothing says summer quite like a good swimsuit, and the [.KK.] Delphine Bikini - Daisies group gift is a perfect example of that! The top is a bandeau that wraps around and ties in the back with long solid colored bow, trailing down to flutter over the bottom. Both pieces also have slender straps with beads at the tips, such a flattering design :) We receive sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

Next I had some fun with a grassy hued group gift called [.KK.] Vespa Dress - Green. In addition to the dress we also receive a C-string, both in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. The long sleeved bodycon dress has some playful cutouts beneath the arms and on each hip, and I think it will really help us stand out in a crowd. 

The [.KK.] Olivia Tied-Up Dress - Purple Heats 2 group gift has two options for underclothing so you can adjust the look to suit you. The dress, C-string, and thong are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu, with a HUD for the panties/c-string offering 24 colors and 5 metals. I'm wearing the C-string here, but the thong's side strings will be visible through the opening in the front so it is fun to be able to change up that color.

One last peek for the evening, this charming gift is our [.KK.] Layla Skulls - Goth dress. There is a heart shaped c-string and a thong (both black) along with the dress, each in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Also included are matching heels for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya, which is why you don't see any here on my Legacy feet ;) The designer included a notecard apologizing that the shoes she used were not offered in a Legacy size but she really wanted to provide them in the ones that were available. I love the high-low skirt layer of sheer lace, and I'm absolutely hanging onto this for Halloween season too! 

I wound up with a little calendar shuffling today, gaming with friends tonight instead of Thursday, and it was unexpected but fun as always :) I love when we point out things each other may have missed about the game, like a random new character showing up even without a cabin so no place to stay. They usually don't do that, but the update a few days ago apparently made it happen without telling us there would even be new characters. Kawaii Secrets Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is an invitation to help celebrate the Kawaii Secrets event's 3rd birthday. The presents are for their free group, and we can claim them by clicking the teddy bear boxes at almost every display :) That's over 50 gifts for us to enjoy, and I had a great time visiting the event. This round is open until the 24th so there is time to take advantage of some shopping while we grab our free treats.

We start out the evening with our Minali. Dress - Pink gift. It is a very sensual look with open sides held by slender strings, and I love the way the bodice really cradles the bust. The dress is provided in Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Squish body sizes, along with black panties and white panties (Legacy and Reborn sizing) and a BOM tattoo layer for shadowing from the shoulder straps. That's a lot of bonus add-ons, and I definitely appreciate the ways we can enhance the appearance.

There are several tattoos among the gifts, and I decided to dress up my knees for a change :) Our {Svitich} Cute Web tattoo BOM gift includes 4 different designs, each in faded and fresh versions of left, right, or full (meaning same image on both knees) so there are plenty of possibilities here. If you recall what cozy video game I've been playing, you will know why this goodie really specifically appeals to me :) There is something intriguing about heart shaped spiderwebs too, certainly decorated with lots of cute or kawaii items. 

I couldn't resist pairing this fan and skirt, but didn't see a top amongst our gifts so I'm just letting the fan and my hand provide some coverage ;) The Space Bunny~ Blossom Paper Fan has a lovely animation built in to waft a delicate breeze on your face, and I'm head over heels for that beautiful pattern. Then our {Rosier} / Cece Skirt / (Gift Color) makes an appearance, soft pink with black hearts to match the bows and edgy belt with lots of silver adornments. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies provided in the gift. I can imagine so many fun ways to wear this, with anything from a tank top to a lacy blouse to a cropped sweater if worn to a chilly locale. 

I don't show off enough earrings, to be honest, so the {Baby OG} Love Dive Earrings called out to me as soon as I saw them. Hearts certainly fit the kawaii theme, and these are interlocked and dangle down to brush our collarbones. The earrings also have a HUD enclosed that offers 16 colors each for 2 alternating sets of hearts, and 10 metals for the hooks. We used to call this style of earrings 'shoulder dusters', and I quite like that wording so I hope it's still in use.

Sometimes I like to wrap up posts with a nail closeup, since I take my manicures (SL and RL) very much to heart. These sharp stilettos are our [REVERIE] Catitude Nails GIFT, looking simply amazing with 5 design options for each mail via HUD. They fit Legacy and Reborn mesh bodies, and bring sassy kitties to any outfit with ease. 

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was overly warm but productive :) I had a rough time in the car yesterday from the heat making my stomach uneasy, but I got through it and am remaining positive about my podiatrist visit this week too. I think the weather will be a bit cooler, but tomorrow evening is going to be stormy again with added heat. Fingers crossed that my power stays on! My therapy session was deep and thought provoking, which I think is a very good thing since I need to be digging into the roots of what causes my anxiety. POSH Pretty in Pink

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the POSH Event to check out their Pretty In Pink Hunt. The event area itself certainly lives up to the hunt's name, decked out in wall to wall pink, and there are free gifts for members of the event group which is also free to join. With that tag active, you'll want to seek out the small cats which are solid pink, and the other hunt object is a gorgeous high heel shoe on a round base like a trophy. Those are mostly visible in the displays as a gift, and you will need to right click - touch those to claim the gifts inside. There is a script inside but sometimes scripts can be tricky little devils in SL and only work when they feel like it ;) This wonderful event is open until the 20th of the month.

My first look is the stunning DOLLZ ADYA BABY PINK dress. It has such a flirty style and eye-catching sheen, plus let's not forget that amazing bright hue! There are sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included in this sweet hunt prize. I'd recommend adding your favorite BOM panties if you want to head somewhere non-adult, as the rear view is a cheeky one ;)

Oh my goodness, how adorable do these gifts look together? The DOLLZ Darling Pink/White TOP is a cropped blouse with puffed sleeves that are each decorated with bows that have long tails that hang lower than the hem. The white heart pattern adds romance too, making this an instant favorite for me. Our new top fits BBL Impression, Kalhene, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn Juicy mesh bodies, and pairs beautifully with the DOllz XOXO SET shorts. These cuties remind me of the sporty pairs that were popular in the late 70s and early 80s, only mine (children's sizes) were not quite this short. I think the white trim is partly responsible for the flashback :) However these have a lip print and XOXO on the back in hot pink, and come in Erika, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Muneca, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes. 

Next I've wrapped myself in skintight latex, thanks to the DOLLZ BODY SUIT PINK hunt prize. That peaked collar frames the plunging neckline so well, and what a fun detail to have a partly open zipper in the front :) We receive sizing for BBL, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Muneca, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies.

There was more than one color of this cutie among the hunt gifts, so I randomly chose to share our DOllz Pink/Blue Pattern Fly Girl BodySuit. Can't help it, I fell in love at first sight! The curve-hugging one piece suit is provided in BBL Impression, Erika, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The front and rear views are similar with deep openings, with lots of cleavage on display.

My final look tonight is perfect if you're planning on spending the weekend enjoying sand, surf, or sunshine :) The Sassima GIFT BAE BIKINI - PINK has a beautiful floral pattern and is held in place by strings and golden clasps for a little sparkle. The bra and panty will each fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

I am so thrown off right now, LOL, as this does not feel like a Friday at all. The storms that passed through my area kept me at home instead of going to my parents' for dinner as planned, and the farmers market is closed tomorrow for the 2nd week in a row because of a family wedding that has the owners and a few vendors in Italy. I'm eager to see the photos :) I've got some plans tomorrow and then therapy on Sunday, so there is plenty to keep me occupied without the market. Hunting with Harambee-Gwassi

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a bit of a variety, since I started with one hunt and hopped to another by the same folks :) That would be the Harambee-Gwassi charity store, who organize fantastic events and hunts for us to enjoy just about every single month. The first 2 prizes I found were from the July hunt, the Ice Cream Cone Hunt, then the rest are from August's Save The Sea Hunt. I completely understand that not everyone is ready for the new rounds each time the month changes, and am simply mentioning so you know what hunt objects you are looking for :) Also that helps you to know which hints to follow, and if the prize I share is no longer available by the time you read this, you can always check for the newer hunt prizes at that location instead. Each round has 2 hunt items available, for $3L and $10L apiece, so the websites are quite handy to have open to tell you which you seek. Also, you can get a notecard with links, pics, and hints by clicking the hunt sign at participating stores.

My first look is an Ice Cream Hunt prize found in a $3L triple scoop ice cream cone, the Violet Skies - Xanthe Outfit Lime. You'll need to unpack this the traditional way (rez on ground and right click to unpack) because of a no-copy BOM shirt inside, which is a cropped fishnet top you see above as the base layer. The mesh components are the bodysuit and skirt which are designed for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The outfit looks just as nice without the fishnet layer as it does with it, so let your personal tastes guide you there :) 

The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. is also running a little behind this month, which means we still have the chance to grab their $10L YOU'RE HOT Tee prize from the Ice Cream Hunt. We just have to find the pretty little cupcake, as this hunt was all about the sugar rush :) The cozy charcoal tank top says "Wow You're Hot" in bold 3D block lettering, and comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions. It's all on an unpacker HUD so you can deliver what you need right now and hang onto that HUD for future reference if you wish. That's what I always do anyway :)

Time to switch over to the Save the Sea Hunt, for which you can find the ILL Hazar outfit in a $3L oyster shell with pearl inside. This edgy top and skirt set includes sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I love the plaid on the skirt, looks fantastic with the black leather corset-laced waist and cropped top with open sides! It's going to be right at home in any Goth, alternative, or punk avatar's inventories.

Now I'm curious about the existence of eco-friendly pirates, thanks to the @rOrO Harlow Dress Pirate Print which is a $10L prize from Save The Sea inside a cute blue octopus hunt object. The bare shoulder style is a flirty favorite of mine, and the ruffle around the top and upper arms has such a fun pattern of sailing ships just like a pirate would have or commandeer. There are sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Pushup, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies included. I did notice an ice cream cone there too, so keep on searching if you'd like something else sweet.

My final look of the night is our $3L prize for Save the Sea (seashell with pearl) from GoodVibes called Moana. Isn't she lovely? I'm certainly feeling nautical and a bit naughty in the open weave dress covered with multicolored shells, while appreciating the two most carefully placed ones that cover the upper essentials ;) We also receive a string bikini bottom for added modesty, so where's your favorite adult beach to wear this to? It was a fun evening of gaming with friends online, and I am pleasantly surprised that my new glasses are ready to be picked up much sooner than expected :) It was supposed to be 2 weeks but I got the text today, and will be headed there before my parents' for dinner tomorrow. I wonder if they felt sorry for me, LOL, or just want to make sure I don't have any more reason to complain ;) Honestly I was very polite about everything and didn't blame anyone but my own brain for feeling too dizzy with the extra strong prescription. I'm eager to get things moving so I can prepare more for the cataract surgeries themselves, as much as I dread them, since it will drastically improve my vision. CMH Kawaii Summer

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for the CMH Kawaii Summer 2 Hunt, with treats to help you beat the heat in style. Visit each participating store and look for the cute popsicles (3 color stripes and a kawaii face) to claim the $1L hunt prizes or $25L - $50L hunt exclusives. Their website will guide you with landmarks, hints, and the prices, and you'll notice that many of the designers are offering multiple prizes so you'll want to follow those hints carefully. I love Cheeky Monkey Hunts and am always impressed by the creativity of their designers :) Also the theme really warms my heart, so I like to think of these offerings as virtual hugs to everyone who picks them up or sees one of us wearing them. We have until the end of the month to enjoy all this cuteness :)

Let's start out the evening with the $1L hunt prize from ART & FASHION called PLAYFUL AND FREE OUTFIT. Isn't this sweet shade of orange just perfect for summer? I immediately thought of a creamsicle, then a refreshing glass of orange juice on a bright sunny day :) The minidress and matching strappy platform boots are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. There is always beautiful artwork on this brand's clothing, and for this treat it is a young lady on a swing. As a kid I spent lots of time enjoying the exhilarating feeling of the wind through my hair and the sensation of flying as I swung back and forth on a swingset with my best friend.

Next we pop on over to Artistic Eye, who are generously offering a few different exclusive offers like this $50L ~AE~ Kawaii Top. Just look at those cheerful faces on all the cuties pictured on the front! ♥ I can't resist the gorgeous shade of blue either, or the fun bows on both sides. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, which is a nice range of popular sizes. I've paired it here with the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack freebie, but you can easily wear this with just about any bottoms in your inventory that suit your personal style. Of course for this time of year, shorts are very tempting :)

The jeans also came in handy for my final look of the night, which is our SweetSass Kawaii Panda Top for just $1L. The adorable faces on the clouds and sun above the panda remind me very much of the one on the hunt object, and how precious is this little cub who is nibbling on some tasty bamboo? Designer News Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some gifts for the Designer News group, which is free to join, from various stores all across the grid. This type of multi-designer group is such fun to explore, with posts to tell us about sales and new releases, as well as the group gifts that many designers will offer in their stores. If you're like me, you will see notices from brands you know and love, and you'll find some new-to-you designers who are ready to impress :) Ready to see what I've found?

Our first stop is Nyxa Atelier, where their gorgeous NY ASYMMETRICAL SPARKLE is our gift. This store actually is new-ish to me, as I'd shared a fantastic pair of mesh nails from them in June from an event. This dress comes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us pick from 10 lovely dark hues. The deep colors show off the texture beautifully, and I find it also draws attention to that unique style with open left side.

I also couldn't resist the .:AMUI:. "Joy" Dress - 11 group gift, one of several for various groups. The single sleeved minidress looks stunning in metallic argyle with fishnet sleeve and waist. It is provided in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I hope I'm correct in calling that pattern argyle, which is a type of plaid but I think usually plaid is horizontal and vertical rather than tilted for the diamond shapes we see here. 

Next we see the =Suna Designs= gift called S-Heliya dress red. This formfitting dress has a daring side slit on the skirt, and a sheer lacy bust that made me grateful for the nipple covers I'm wearing ;) They would be visible otherwise, so I do recommend pasties if you are wearing this to a non-adult rated destination. The dress will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Mounds mesh bodies and mods. This particular shade of red makes me think of a chili pepper! 

Now let's head to [C.Y<3 Fashion] to grab their adorable "Milly" dress gift :) It's actually a pair of dresses, pink and black versions, which are each included in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Also provided but not shown are a pair of black shoes that fit Slink feet. The pink version is rather romantic with its pattern of hearts and flowers, don't you think?

My final look of the night comes from BlondeQueen - their playful BQ::Girly Crop Top & Mini Skirt:: 2 colors set. The front says "girl gang" in fun script, and each top and skirt comes in olive/brown tartan or plum tartan. All of those are designed for Gen X Curvy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The wording on the front of the olive/brown tartan is in a pretty caramel color, which stands out as nicely as the hot pink on the plum tartan top :) 

I had a hard time getting decent sleep (kept waking up for no reason) but my support group session went well tonight, so I am doing okay. I think it's been about a year now that I've been part of that group, and I am grateful for the chance to talk things over with people who are also dealing with anxiety and agoraphobia.
