Cuties from Carol's

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting Carol's Store, where there group gifts are plentiful and the quality is impressive. Their group is just $10L to join, by the way, so that tiny investment pays for itself time and time again with regular gifts that sometimes include store credit. I mention that because right now there is a $350L store credit available to group members, and I used some of mine for a pair of jeans from their new releases to show off some tops tonight :) I've got a fair bit of credit accumulated actually, so I should probably go back soon and spend a little more. You don't have to twist my arm though, lol, I love shopping there! I just figured the store credit gift made it even more timely to invite you to visit and join if you aren't already a member.

My first look of the evening has one group gift and one item I'd already mentioned buying with store credit, and I think they look wonderful together :) Our Carol's - May Group Gift 2026 is a creamy beige halter top with a pink rosy pattern, in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Momma, Nhuma, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm so happy to pair it with the Carol's - Candela Jeans Light Blue, retail price $240L but I used my store credit so I received them for free. There are several other shades too if the light blue isn't your jam, and they will fit Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Momma, Nhuma, and Reborn mesh bodies. The texturing is so well done with the shading, and the whiskering and worn spots of the denim. They are a slender fit and have a nice rise, just beneath the navel so not too low but not too high either.

Those jeans also look great with our beautiful Carol's - April Group Gift 2026. It's a slightly sheer sweater trimmed in lace and open in the front, just held closed by a single dainty button. The fabric reminds me of linen because of the delicate weave, visible fibers if you look closely, so that would be comfortable for hot days even with the long sleeves. It comes in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Momma, Nhuma, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

You know that I'm a floral fan, so the beautiful print caught my eye immediately, as did the puffed sleeves and pretty ruffles. Naturally I had to also show off the Carol's - March Group Gift 2026 dress, in a favorite color combined with a favorite pattern :) The lace trim just adds to the beauty, and who can resist those gentle pleats on the skirt? This dress comes in the same sizes as the dress before it, and all of these gifts are provided as an unpacker HUD by size. This way you can deliver just what you need at the time, and hang onto the HUD for future reference if you want to. I change bodies quite often among 3, so you know I'm keeping those HUDs :)

It's a high-stress kind of day, because I'm about to start fasting for blood work tomorrow. That's never fun, mostly because my usual habit of chewing gum in the car to distract myself from the anxiety is not allowed before the blood tests. I even googled which blood tests chewing gum can affect, and TSH (thyroid) which I'm having done is one that the act of chewing can alter the results. Bleh. At least I can have water, so that is helpful :) Because the lab isn't my only stop tomorrow, I won't have time to prepare a blog post so I am taking the evening off from blogging. My usual Thursday evening gaming with friends is also canceled, but that's because my friend is sick and has very little voice to chat on the phone, plus her eyes are bothering her so looking at a screen to play a game is not the best move. Pride At Home

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is delightfully colorful, thanks to several free gifts we find at Pride At Home :) I'm a longtime ally of the LGBTQ+ community, and growing up Gen X means that I saw what it was like in the 80s to be a teenager or young adult trying to find one's identity. It has gotten better over the years, but there is still room for improvement of course. SL seems to be a helpful outlet for those who want to explore virtual life as themselves without RL limitations, which makes Pride month even more special here. Pride At Home is a terrific shopping event each June, with this wonderfully designed area of booths with gifts for all visitors that do not need any particular group tag to claim. Some are for sale for $0L, and a few you can just click to have the treat delivered to you. Are you ready to take a peek?

My first look is the cozy *katat0nik* (GIFT) PAH Tracksuits, which contains both I ♥ You and I ♥ Me versions. They both are provided in Legacy and Reborn mesh body sizes, and are a one-piece set with the capri pants and zipped sweatshirt linked together. the rainbow racing stripes are the perfect bold accent for the sleek black of the sleeves and pants :) It's also noteworthy that this brand has been part of my SL experience for as long as I can remember, and I'm always thrilled to see them at events!

I'm keeping it casual yet celebratory with the [RED GIRL] Reese Shorts Overall Pride gift. Just look at those colorful patches scattered around the denim overalls, which come in 3 colors (blue, white, and black not shown) with the same decorations and tank top built in beneath. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies of each color, then we have a HUD with 10 colors for our tank top so even that can be customized. So cute for Pride month, but certainly not limited to June.

The {le fil casse} Allegra Bodysuit Pride Edition is a sexy gift that I'm realizing is a bit lower cut on that bust than I initially realized ;) It fits Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, in a spectrum of colors with those vivid stripes that softly transition from one to the next. Then it was time for a sweet snack, so I am sharing the andika Sweet Pride ice cream-wearable gift too. There are left and right handed hold versions included, and like all SL food it won't drip or raise your blood sugar ;) I'm wondering about the flavors now...I'll go with red velvet, mango, lemon, mint chip, blue raspberry, and blackberry. Yum!

There are so many terrific tops among these gifts, like the stunning FICTIVE - PRIDE AT HOME 2026 - GIFT. The tank top has a ticket tucked under the left strap, and a fun style with that slit in the front that gives an extra peek of midriff. We receive Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn versions, with a HUD so we can choose from 4 textures for our top and 4 for the ticket. The top can also be solid white or solid black, but I was totally in the rainbow zone here and tie-dye is a classic favorite for me :) The ticket on the left above says "This is a Safe Space" and I must admit, that made me a little bit emotional. My blog is too, just like my heart. 

My final look of the night was a chance to show off not just one but two more tops that I simply adore. The [GHB] CLOTHING LOVE IS LOVE CROPTOP is on the left above, with black sleeves providing contrast to the bright gradient with Pride rainbow stripes across it. The pink heart says "Love is Love" just like the shirt's name. This gift includes sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Our Pride at Home. Queer Fringe Tee 2026 on the right gave me amusing flashbacks (Flashdance movie, childhood bestie and I in matching fringed shirts with movie logo, thinking we were hot stuff at the beach, LOL) but I really do enjoy fringe and especially in SL where it can't get all tangled up. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included, along with a HUD for the bikini layer that offers 20 textures. Some are wild tropical prints, all are fantastic :) The front says QUEER then PRIDE HOME in tiny letters beneath, there could be an @ hiding in my cleavage though ;) You know by now that I love the color pink, so there's even more appeal here. Just like in the last image, I'm wearing my favorite Delizio jeans from the marketplace (free fatpack) but you can pair any of these shirts with whatever you wish from your own wardrobe.

Why Pride is important to me - I've got a first cousin on my dad's side who is a lesbian, and she is genuinely a fascinating person who used to jump out of airplanes to fight fires out on the west coast. My godparents' son is gay, and I've literally known and loved him my entire life (he's less than a year older than me) so when he came out to me it was with complete trust and relief. His parents thanked my parents for not ditching the family like some of their other friends had :( Online friends over the years have included gay, lesbian, trans, poly, pan, bi, genderfluid, and non-binary folks, and my policy is to treat everyone with respect unless they are disrespectful to someone I care about. Also it should go without saying that I don't judge any relationship that involves consenting adults. So for me, Pride is about honoring love in its many forms, and continuing to learn about the complexity of gender identities.

It's been a quieter day than yesterday, thanks to the lack of fireworks outside. The weather is still fairly warm, and it looks like the weekend is going to get even more sizzling hot. MLM Free&Offers

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to stick with the MLM Free&Offers group ($5L to join) and visit other participating stores to see what I could find :) Clearly I was able to find lots of other nice gifts to share, so it was a fun day in SL for sure. I've been in this group for such a long time, and enjoy peeking in on their group notices to see what's new from the designers.

Starting out a little spicy, we have the MD "Tara" Outfit - Red GG gift from Mu-Shi Doll. Isn't it sexy? The top and bottom are separate pieces in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The color of the lacy material did make me think of a chili pepper, so the spicy comment was very intentionally a nod to that :)

The MLM gift from Suna Designs is their S-Avani 1 set. It includes the strapless bodysuit and separate silver coin belt, each in Lara X, Legacy. and Reborn mesh body sizes. This way you can wear the bodysuit with or without the belt, it's all up to you :) I'm a huge fan of the spotted pattern that gives cow vibes, as any animal print fabric makes me happy as a way to honor nature.

Next I'm feeling flirty in our .::PiNK CHERRY::. "Harlow" Dress - White/Pink GG treat. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies each for the dress and sleeves, so you can decide if you prefer the dress with or without the gathered sleeves. Both are trimmed in a lovely mauve pink hue, both edging and bows. Which way do you think you'd wear it? If you're in the same hemisphere as me, you're probably too hot to think about sleeves right about now.

Our Mostyn Street - Stay Sexy Top offers some good advice! This one is a multi-designer group with a small $5L fee to join, and this brand has got several goodies waiting for the members :) The Le'La store has an entire building dedicated to group gifts, so just head out the front door and follow the sparkly path on the ground to locate this bounty of gifts.

My first look of the evening is the {Le'La} Zenia Outfit gift, which is versatile to be appropriate for any season. The dress, boots, and sheer coverup are all provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 20 colors each for dress and boots. The coverup is always sheer with black edging and floral embroidery, such lovely detailing!

For your next outing on a sunshiny day, you might want to reach for the {Le'La} Fanny Summer Set GIFT in your virtual wardrobe :) It starts with the gorgeous dress with deep V neckline and diagonal hem trimmed with patterned ruffle, then continues with the laced up sandals in vibrant yellow. For my final look of the night, I've slipped into the {Le'La} Xiuying Set Gift. The soft lavender looks lovely against the crisp white, and I couldn't help but notice the fun detail of the strings for the top being white but the ones on the skirt slits being lavender to match the edging :)

Hair note: as soon as I saw that Truth Hair had a new release at the Hair Fair, I ran over there immediately to demo! Naturally I loved it and bought it in the essential pack, so it was $500L but 50% of that is donated to Wigs for Kids. This charity provides wigs for children with hair loss from alopecia, cancer, etc., so their mental wellbeing can be boosted during their healing journeys. I'm always eager to help out with charities, and even though I'm not a parent I do find myself drawn to organizations that help out kids. Speaking of kids/parents, this hairstyle is a collab between Truth and his RL daughter, which is incredibly sweet and impressive!

It was a nice weekend here, with beautiful weather for the farmers market on Saturday and a really in-depth therapy session today. It's no secret that finding out I need cataract surgeries threw me for a loop or two, lol, so I think talking about it to someone trained to guide me through that fear and stress was extremely helpful. Step one is to get my eyeglasses since before the consult appointment (not scheduled yet) I have to be without my contacts for 2 full weeks so they can do a proper fitting for the artificial lenses. I've struggled in the past with glasses for various reasons, and misplaced the last pair I owned. Right now I'm not thinking about anything past that step of getting new glasses. Meanwhile I am so excited that June is here and that will mean so many wonderful things in SL :) New rounds of events and hunts are always exciting, and Pride month means all the rainbow goodness we can imagine and more.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I popped over to FlowerDreams, a brand that I've enjoyed for many years as providing high quality formalwear for so many special occasions. Their less formal dresses are equally elegant, and I was impressed by how many gifts they are offering for their group. It's currently free to join too, so you absolutely need to visit :) These are all on the wall to the left when you enter the store, go right to the gifts, then make a left to see shelves with gift boxes. There are others on neighboring walls too, simply irresistible.

Color me gobsmacked by our .:FlowerDreams:. Bette Gown group gift! This sleek mesh gown has a bold ruffle that goes over one shoulder and drops down to bare the other one, with a black mermaid style skirt. We receive a fitmesh M size along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD enclosed with 18 textures for the ruffle, all of which are wonderful choices. 

I was also very drawn to our .:FlowerDreams:. Daphne Dress group gift because of its lovely portrait collar. There is a fitmesh M size included, plus sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The included HUD offers 12 pretty pastel colors for the subtle floral pattern fabric you see above :) I think this would be fun for a 50s era roleplay as well as just feeling extra fashionable.

The gifts can get flirty too, like the stunning .:FlowerDreams:. Ivy dress. The mesh dress fits the Maitreya body, and has add-ons of a fur skirt and a skirt with resizer built in which is the sheer section you see. Then we get to choose from 9 colors for the mesh dress via HUD. Since they're all such dark hues, you can barely tell that the one I changed to on the right above is blue ;) It's really eye catching, thanks to those fun openings, don't you think?

Next we see the playful .:FlowerDreams:. Zoe dress gift. This treat fits Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, Petite, Signature, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. I'm sure you also guessed that we receive a HUD, and that has 12 choices for us. Most are solid colors but a few have patterns, so it is a lovely variety. The style is so flattering too, with that little peekaboo opening beneath the bust. 

My final look is a great choice to sparkle this weekend! Our group gift called .:FlowerDreams:. Lin outfit is a pairing of gathered tube top and miniskirt, each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature Alice bodies. The sequined texture is an immediate plus for me, and the hot pink hues with some purple tones are right up my alley. Hope they are favorites of yours too!

Yesterday did not go quite as I had expected...honestly the eye exam itself probably went better than I thought it would, since the dilation drops didn't burn this time and the doctor was much friendlier than the prior time I'd seen her. However, she said my eyes are very healthy but I do need the cataracts taken care of. WHAT? My blurred vision was apparently due to slightly early onset cataracts and not just needing a new prescription :( They must be pretty bad if she says I should get them done ASAP, and do I even have to explain that someone with anxiety, panic disorder, and agoraphobia does not do well hearing that they need surgery twice? I looked it up and the average age is 65-70, whereas I am 55 so it is a little unusual. I had dinner with my parents this evening and told them all about it, and they were both stunned but reassuring. They had their surgeries at 66 and 64 (dad and mom respectively) and neither had any problems whatsoever. They said it was quick, simple, painless, and really nothing to worry about. I do feel a bit better, although my Sunday therapy session is going to be quite interesting as a result ;) Before that I'll go to the farmers market tomorrow since no rain to make the owner cancel, lol, and I am looking forward to that as always. Sweets from Scandalize

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features free gifts from a paid group, SCANDALIZE, who have a new group gift building for us to indulge in some generous treats. The group is currently $90L to join, but with 200 gifts waiting for us there, that cost is minimal compared to the benefits. I've been so grateful for their gifts over the years, which are usually fatpacks with plenty of colors and patterns to make these outfits look brand new with just a few clicks. Plus like many of you I'm sure, I do love a good bargain! The last couple of times I shared gifts found on the right side of the building, so this time I am showing you some of the left half's many gifts, simply to try to help you locate them quickly.

One thing I particularly admire about this brand is their outstanding denim, so the SCANDALIZE-INIVY SET FATPACK gift was a no-brainer that I had to share :) There's a matching INIVY HEELS FATPACK gift too, so naturally I am wearing them here as well. The outfit includes the top and skirt in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us choose from 30 solid colors, 7 patterns, and 9 denim textures each for the top and seams, plus 15 denim hues for the skirt. Then the heels, which fit the same mesh bodies' feet, include a HUD with 30 solid colors and 10 denims apiece for the heels, insole, and sole, with 2 metals. The maxi skirt looks so modern with the thigh-high slit on the left leg, and the tied top has a very playful feeling.

The most common way of wearing denim is jeans of course, and there's no shortage of those amongst our lovely gifts. The metals are for that bold and sassy belt buckle that definitely caught my eye, and I appreciate having a belt for the jeans as it tends to elevate their look.

I promise that they have gifts without denim if you prefer though ;) The SCANDALIZE=Salpique FATPACK and coordinating SCANDALIZE-Salpique BOOTS FATPACK combine to make a great example of non-denim, very playful clothing. The romper and tank top are provided in Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with HUDs for each. The romper's HUD has 30 solid color choices, and the top HUD offers 30 solid colors and 6 patterns each for the top and the buttons. I've got a scrunchie in my hair as I type this, and am always happy to see them come back into fashion :) I think they're cute and gentle on the hair and scalp (no headaches from pulling) and I do wear them on my wrist occasionally. I just paused for a moment to take a few slow, deep breaths to refocus myself because I'm having a bit of anxiety about my eye appointment tomorrow. I know that most people wouldn't be fearful about such a visit, but my severe nearsightedness makes it scary to have to take my contact lenses out and I don't really enjoy having drops in my eyes (the dilation, EWW hehe) or having to play the "better or worse" game. They're usually all the same to my barely functioning eyes, lol. Addicted to Offers and Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight the gifts I'm sharing are all for the *Addicted to Offers and Gifts* group, which is currently free to join. It's a multi-designer style group, so there are lots of great stores who send notices to update us about what's new and on sale there. Of course, they can also offer a gift for any group members who stop by, so keep an eye out for those group signs at any store you go to :) They are nearly all familiar brands to me by now, and I trust that you'll find some excellent reasons to join me in visiting. 

First up, we have the flirty Luna Chelsea gift called FAIYA DRESS. The halter dress and panties are each provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I'm wrapping things up this evening with the [K-Style] KARMA DRESS #17 group gift. Whew, I just had a sneezing fit so I would say spring is certainly still in the air. Because of my eye appointment Thursday, we rearranged the gaming night with friends to tonight since it was convenient for all of us. So I had a good evening, then watched some hockey where the Vegas Golden Knights eliminated (swept 4 games to 0) the Colorado Avalanche in their series. So now Vegas is headed to the Stanley Cup, and I am not really surprised.
