Another Great Egg-Scape

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're checking out more CMH Great Egg-Scape Hunt prizes, which I'm sure you can guess are hiding in decorated eggs. If you peek at their website you'll see samples of all 3 patterns, and inside you'll find either a $1L hunt prize or an exclusive for $25L - $50L. The weather is nasty here right now (power out, generator actually functional so far) but I am doing my best to post tonight, so fingers crossed!

My first look of the evening is our DUCK Women's LS Tee layered dollarbie prize from Gramma's @ Bird Moon. Gramma's has 2 locations with prizes in each, so be sure to check out the website for links, hints, and previews :) This cutie is versatile too, with 6 choices on the included HUD that change the color of the sleeves and the image on the front. They all read "Whatever life throws at you...DUCK! And let it hit someone else" with a pointing duck, LOL, but 3 of them have a picture of what almost hit us like the egg you see on the left. The shirt is provided in 5 standard mesh sizes, from XS to XL, and there is an alpha layer that can help ensure that these sizes will work for many different bodies. I'm wearing the M size on Maitreya Lara here :)

If you're like me, you might be curious about what The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. is offering in this hunt because it is always exciting to see their clever sense of humor :) They are offering 3 hunt prizes, one in each price point, starting with the $1L EASTER PAC Tee on the left above. I can't help but chuckle at the bunny eared Pac Man, gobbling up some painted eggs! I also laughed at our $50L exclusive offer, GAMER EGGS Tee, which says "Gamers love Easter eggs" which is all too true. In gamer lingo that means hidden bonus features that are in games without being publicized ahead of time, so you stumble across them accidentally. This strapless tube top has a peplum style ruffle that I simply adore, and of course the sunflower print makes it an instant favorite for me. It wasn't a bad day until the power went out, LOL, so I guess that's something. I had an anxiety support group session that went well, and I was relieved that the weather didn't get bad until after the session. I am planning on going out tomorrow and the timing means I won't have time to prep for a blog post, so I am planning on taking tomorrow evening off. That's why I really didn't want the weather to prevent tonight's post. The wind will be calmer, but the temperature will only be in the upper 30s so it will be a chilly trip. Our power has been restored but the wind is still wicked, so I can't guarantee that we won't have another glitch so I am looking forward to getting to bed earlier than usual. Rush To REED

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is an invitation to REED in their new location because their group is temporarily free to join. They didn't specify for how long, and it's been a few days (looks like they posted "limited time" in the group on the 12th) so I am considering this a rush job :) They have several group gifts and two lucky boards above them, which are group only and change each minute. I believe there is also a discount for group members if you have your tag active while purchasing, so that's another wonderful reason to get into the group and stay there if you are a fan of their style.

We start with the lovely REED - MICHU DRESS group gift. It's a great halter dress with swirly teal pattern on perforated fabric with tiny holes. We receive sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Fun fact - I forgot to remove a pair of black panties I was wearing, and you could see them faintly through those holes so I had to take them off so the pictures would show the true appearance. I'm going to suggest white or a tone that matches your skin for your undergarments.

Since I'm tired of winter weather and eager for some warmth, the REED - ISIS PINK romper is helping me daydream about sunshine :) The white trim brings out the cheery pink so well, don't you think? There are Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. I'm pondering what necklace to wear that the deep neckline will frame so nicely, and if it's one with matching earrings or bracelet, even better!

Next we take a peek at the charming REED - ANDREZA FATPACK gift, which is a low cut minidress with slender straps and a little ruffle at the hem. I love being able to customize a look this comprehensively, so we can fully make it our own. 

Our Reed - Iris Dress gift is a duo of playful strapless dresses with full layers to the very short skirt. The black and pink versions are each provided in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. They also both have a subtle floral design imprinted on the material, so pretty! 

For my final look tonight, I've changed into our group gift called REED - TALISA FATPACK. We've got a sexy tied crop top and low rise shorts, each in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, plus a HUD with 8 colors for each. They are mostly pastels so especially nice for spring, and I had fun mixing things up but you can certainly match the top to the shorts if you wish :) The puffy short sleeves caught my eye, and the shorts look like they've been pulled up to the hip bones on each side while dipped low beneath the navel. Slightly cheeky rear view, but not enough to be problematic I think.

The location of the farmers market I go to on Saturdays is at the end of a long row of connected buildings, so when it's windy out, it creates this intense wind tunnel that would blow their tents away (and actually has a few times). This week was a no-tent day because of strong winds. It was also a day for me to get windburn on my face, which I still haven't figured out how to prevent but I was wearing sunscreen so it isn't sunburn. I just have extremely sensitive skin unfortunately. The weather is going to get really nasty here tomorrow evening, with high winds and potential tornadoes, so I might have to skip blogging if I lose power or have to head somewhere safer. Dreaming With Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back at the Doves Dream event, with lots of exclusive offers and a group gift at nearly every display. The group is the same as for Palomma Plaza, an all free bounty of gifts where The Free Dove used to be. We lost Palomma "Dove" Casanova in 2023, but her spirit of generosity lives on as long as we still honor her memory :) Her RL birthday was the 11th which was the opening date of this annual event, and we have until the 11th of April to complete our shopping and gift claiming. I've got tons of treats to show you from this sweet event, so this is part two of who knows how many posts ;) 

I started the evening with our MadCatCreations gift called MCC - woman - tank dress pink latex. They also have a men's gift too, and a full perm version at a different booth, so that's a triple thank you to them :) Our tank dress comes in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Mounds, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. The texture  is such a fun one, with the highlights from the shine of the latex!

Our ALWAYS BLOSSOM Teresa Dress Spring Colors gift has several pastel hues on their HUD that we can choose from, but black is also an option if you prefer :) There are a total of 5 colors on that HUD and the ability to adjust the sheerness of the solid (non-lace) portions of the dress, so it is quite versatile. I always recommend trying them each on and deciding which you personally lean towards, I mean they are all in there for a reason :) The angel's wings stretch so gracefully across the collarbone area, and a strapless top would reveal this artwork nicely too.

Next I changed into the Asteria "Jojo" Gift for Doves, which consists of the dress and a separate halter so you can wear them together or enjoy the dress on its own. The dress color makes me think of mourning doves, as they are a creamy grey rather than a bluish tone usually, and I adore the style of this dress both with and without the harness.

I am one of the rare people out there whose life gets busier on the weekends rather than during the week, so they don't have quite the same party feeling for me. Not that they're bad or anything, but I do spend most of the week at home usually. So tonight was dinner at my parents', and tomorrow morning is a farmers market that I can't wait to visit :) I've been concerned about my friend's husband (also a friend, the couple from my Thursday gaming nights) who had a medical procedure done today, but he is home and recovering so that is a huge relief. Tomorrow's featured lunch vendor at the market is the hot dog truck, and their special for St. Patrick's Day is a hot dog with corned beef, kraut, Swiss cheese, and green mustard...that's about 4 reasons for a big hell no from me, LOL. I miss Irish potato candies, which I used to get each year from one of the vendors who has retired. Recently found out they are mostly a local thing, so I'll explain that there is no potato involved other than the shape - cream cheese, powdered sugar, and coconut mixed and rolled into small balls that are then rolled in cinnamon. I'm probably missing an ingredient there, vanilla perhaps. I haven't made them myself in about 30 years so it's hard to recall. Twisted Time

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to get a little twisty with the Spring Twisted Hunt 2026, whose theme is Decadence. The cubes we're looking for are different colors each round, so this time they are deep green and gold. You'll find the first one at the hunt headquarters, and all the others look just like it and are the same size. They do slowly rotate which I find particularly helpful since I'm looking for that motion, but remember this is billed as the hardest hunt in SL for good reason ;) There can be up to 13 visible decoys at each store, and some places have multiple prizes while others have mini hunts with extra treats. If you see an easel near the hunt sign, please make sure you give it a click and read the notecard since it should tell you what to expect and maybe even give a hint :) There are no official hints posted anywhere, but you can ask politely in the hunt group if you get stuck. The end game isn't open just yet, but I am eagerly anticipating since I know it's always extremely challenging but I also know that Xan is my puzzle expert secret weapon ♥. I am a big fan of teamwork for this hunt in general anyway. Alrighty, it's time to take a peek at some of the wonderful free prizes!

My first look this evening is the @rOrO Mandala Daisy Dress, a truly stunning prize that combines intricate artwork with pretty flowers on a deep background. There are sizes for Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included in this reward for finding their hidden cube. This feels like a way to celebrate spring but with a darker, almost Goth feeling :)

This playful outfit is our Psyche's Pstyles Les Fleurs du Mal Corset. The high ruffled collar adds a regal flair, and of course I adore the heart shaped cutout in the front :) It laces all the way up and down the back, hence the corset, helping to ensure it highlights our curves beautifully. We receive Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 6 colors of the same swirly pattern. As soon as I saw this store in the lineup, I knew I would be tickled pink by whatever they were offering, as they never disappoint. 

Would you believe that there are nine prizes waiting for us at ~MystRie~ ? It makes a little more sense if I mention that there are fashions and accessories for men, women, and dinkies among them, so that is a wide range and they are very generous. The Velvet Vixen Dress I'm wearing here is very reminiscent of the cube's texturing, and the puffed shoulders draw extra attention to that deep V neckline. The hem is short, like short short LOL, so don't forget your favorite undies! The dress comes in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

Another cube holds the ~MystRie~ Emerald Mirage Jumpsuit, which even comes with its own lighting system to really bring out the gold embossing. Developments over the years in SL have allowed creators to play with materials and response to light, with this being a fantastic example of how fun it can be :) The jumpsuit comes in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and the HUD offers several colors for the light I mentioned as well as controls to adjust the rotation of the light, speed, upper or lower or both, etc. so I'm going to suggest to peep at the notecard and play with it some. Even if you don't use the light or its HUD, who can resist a strapless bodysuit with long slit pant legs?

Speaking of strapless looks, the last prize I'm showing you tonight is our ::::. Clothes Culture .:::: AURELIA strapless dress. Actually because of the length I am tempted to call it a gown, with sweetheart neckline and snug bodice that leads to a flowing skirt that is open on the left with a fun slit. The black top goes so well with the gold-green skirt, very decadent indeed :) Add your favorite jewelry and heels for even more luxury to match our theme.

I feel like I should be mad at the Pokopia game for being so darned addictive, LOL, but it's so engaging and detailed that I cannot bring myself to be upset about it. It is a world building game with no combat, just finding pokemon and setting up habitats for them while trying to restore areas that had been abandoned by humans and pokemon. There is so much potential of what to do, it's easy to play for hours on end :) So that's why I was running late, well that and a hockey game that went into overtime and distracted me by making me scream and cheer. Doves Dream Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're honoring Palomma Casanova, also known as Dove, with some thoughtful gifts from the Doves Dream event. Her real life birthday was today, and her dear friend Shelby (who also runs the Palomma Plaza) has this annual shopping event to bring together some of the many talented folks who worked with Dove and wish to help honor her :) There are exclusive offers for sale here, and most of the designers have a gift for the Palomma Plaza group which is free to join. Many are in the same boxes you'll see at Palomma Plaza with its logo, but a few are in different gift boxes that shouldn't be hard to spot. Don't worry if you are having a busy day, because you'll have until the 11th of April to stop by and enjoy the event.

I started the evening with our Nala Design - Celi Outfit 4 gift. It is a fully loaded look, with the top, skirt, and boots that each come in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as the choker and 3 sizes of jacket. They are numbered 0, 1, and 2, so just try each one on and see what suits your shape the best :) The fuzzy jacket works so well with the furred boots, and I always look at it as all fur in SL being faux so there were no animals harmed in the making of this outfit :) It's edgy yet feminine, both of which match my moods lately so I am very grateful for this gift. To be fair though, I am thankful for every gift and every designer who is taking part ♥.

Next we take a peek at the flirty 13 Avenue - Palomma Dress gift, which is wonderfully versatile. The halter dress is provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, with a HUD that lets us select from 10 choices. Half of those are colors with white trim, and the other half have black edging and lace. Another handy addition to this gift is the set of BOM panties, in 6 colors - black, blue, mint, red, white, and yellow. They are strapless so more like a C-string, so we don't have to worry about them peeping through the lace of the dress. 

The :::FTCOR:::MARILIA_DRESS::: F8 gift gave me quite a giggle, thanks to the green visitors from another world on the pattern :) I watch a lot of paranormal type shows, but they're about ghosts rather than aliens so I am no expert on these guys. They look great in glowingly bright green though, eh? This playful dress comes in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a black corset belt and slender spaghetti straps. They come in peace, right?

This three-piece outfit is our [FAME] Set - Tamara / GIFT, in soft peach with a pink floral pattern on sections. The top, krop top, and shorts will each fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the krop top is the upper part on the left that I left off for the right side of the image so you can see the difference :) I love the color, even if it is a bit close to my skin tone and almost blends in, but I just think it's so nice for this time of year. 

My final look of the evening is the GS Jade Dress PINK treat from Gidget's Style. This belted mini dress has a deep neckline and curved dress shirt type hem, with cuffed sleeves and a terrific plaid fabric. It is provided in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. That hemline makes me want to layer some leggings beneath for chilly days, yet it looks so nice as a dress too. Now that's a dilemma that I don't mind pondering :)

My podiatrist visit went decently yesterday, although that with a few added stops made me so exhausted by the time I got home that taking the evening off from blogging was definitely the right move. I have a couple of tender toes, but nothing too concerning, and I'll be back there in 9 weeks for another trim and checkup. The weather got uncomfortably warm here the past two days, which will be even weirder when it drops to nearly freezing in a few days! Mother Nature needs a spa day or something, she's all out of sorts ;) I did gaming night with friends a day early (tonight) and it was a blast as always, with visiting the husband's Pokopia island as well as the usual games. It ran a bit later than planned, but we know how that goes because time truly does fly when you're having that much fun :) I hope you're all having a relaxing day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

My first look of the evening is a timely group gift, as we rapidly approach St. Patrick's Day and the wearing of the green :) Their EC Erin Dress comes in sizes for Erika, Freya, Freya V-Tech, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, V-Tech, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, and Star mesh bodies. There's also a HUD with 10 textures to choose from, 6 of which are solid colors and 4 are fun patterns that will really work this coming week 🍀.

I also picked up the beautiful EC Barrie Summer Dress GG, although I must admit that I will happily wear it other than just in summer :) The straps in the back meeting up at the neck are such a clever detail, and that deep V neckline shows off just the right amount of cleavage for a flirty night out. We receive 5 standard sizes along with sizing for Erika, Freya, Isis, Venus, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Peach, Prima, Reborn, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There's also a HUD with 4 charming patterns, so you can change up the look very easily.

The EC Kathleen Outfit GG (short for group gift) is a delightful pairing of playful dress and strappy sandals. Each will fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 3 options for the dress, all of which go perfectly with the solid black sandals :) 

Over at the lucky chairs, each chair seems to have several color varieties of a particular outfit or dress as the prize. So I was very excited to win twice on the same chair! The EC Clio Toga Lilac 2.0 is seen on the left above, with the White version on the right, both trimmed in gold that looks fantastic with any of the colors. These single shouldered beauties come in sizes for Alice, Erika, Freya, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Peach, Prima, and Reborn mesh bodies. While the traditional choice to wear with these would be gladiator style sandals, I'm sure you can add any footwear that floats your boat as well as jewelry if you wish (most likely gold).

Gifts from Beyond

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some lovely gifts from the Beyond store to see. Their group is currently $49L to join, well worth the fee if you are interested in the dozen or so gifts on the wall :) Honestly I'd joined years ago when it was free, and I have found fewer and fewer free gifts these days. So I will be sharing group gifts from time to time for paid groups, but I try to stick to no more than $100L fees or so in order to keep things budget friendly. These gifts are all fatpacks so there are HUDs to fully customize each gift, making it like several outfits in one pack which I greatly appreciate.

My first look of the evening is our .:Beyond:. Karina - Fatpack gift, a strapless minidress that is zippered in the front and tied on each thigh. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies, as well as a very useful HUD. That lets us choose from 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for the dress and straps, 5 zipper colors, and 3 bonus Halloween patterns for the dress in its lower right corner :) Variety is always a positive thing in SL, since you could wear this dress a dozen times in a row without any colors or patterns repeated so most people would never even notice.

If you crave a casual look for working out or exploring a warm climate in SL, I'd like to suggest the .:Beyond:. Darya - Fatpack group gift. The tiny tank top and high waisted shorts each fit Gen X Classic, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh reborn bodies, with the shorts having details like a logo on the right side of the waist and playful straps on each hip. We also receive a HUD with 20 colors apiece for the top, shorts 1, shorts 2, and strips, along with a logo HUD that has 20 fun choices or the option to turn it off completely. There is a logo for just about any mood, but it's also nice to have the on/off button in case you want a more streamlined look.

Let's hit the beach in our new .:Beyond:. Virginia - Fatpack group gift! :) It consists of the top, skirt, and thong, each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The enclosed main HUD has 20 color choices each for the top, skirt, strips, striped top, and striped skirt, while the separate thong HUD offers the same 20 solid colors. I usually do wind up suggesting to add each HUD and just have fun playing with it, lol, so you can see all the capabilities and decide what suits you best.

My next look is the group gift called .:Beyond:. Ivanna - Fatpack, a ruffled bodysuit that is sure to turn heads. We receive Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes, plus a HUD that offers 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for three parts of the outfit. That would be the main bodysuit, ruffles, and the trim on the edge of each ruffle. I like using contrasting but complementary patterns or colors in the photos to distinguish the various sections for you to see :)

For my final look, I slipped into the lovely .:Beyond:. Linda - Fatpack treat :) The tube dress and long ruffled sleeves are separates, each in sizes for Gen X Classic, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The dress HUD offers 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for the dress, trim, and lace (bow in front), while the sleeves HUD has matching solids and patterns for the main sleeves and the ruffle trim. We can wear the dress with or without those sleeves and mix things up as much or as little as we desire, and I clearly was having fun experimenting with the various patterns.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was fairly good, starting with the farmers market trip that was on hopefully the last of the really chilly days. Today was warmer and it's just the right temperature in here finally, so I am grateful not to need the little heater running or several layers of clothing to be comfy.
