Happy Anniversary ACCESS

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a part two of gifts from the ACCESS Event which is celebrating its 8th anniversary this round. Their group is free to join, and there are tons of generous treats for the members. I noticed plenty of male fashion gifts along with the female clothing and accessories, plus the mix includes decor too so a little something for all. We have just over 2 weeks remaining, as this round runs until the 8th of July :) Grab those gifts, pick up demos, and enjoy!

For my first look this evening I'm starting strong with our AURICA Anette Dress YELLOW gift. This sleeveless dress with daring diagonal hemline is just stunning, and the sunny color is sure to earn compliments. The gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a metals HUD offering 3 tones for the clasps at the ends of the bows on the left hip and across our back. 

That dress shows off our arms so well that it seemed like a great opportunity to display the .:Vegas:. Tattoo Applier Eclipse group gift. In addition to appliers for Altamura, Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, and Slink bodies, we receive BOM layers too, all in dark, medium, and light versions. The unisex body art covers from upper arms down to the backs of our hands, with symbols just past the first knuckle on our hands. I love all the details, and the monochromatic design looks so fierce!

Sometimes we need to combine two gifts for one amazing look :) The Rosary. Cropped. Purple top is a beauty with crossed straps in the front, creating a frame for our cleavage. There are sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, R. Risque, and Waifu mesh bodies provided. A high waisted pair of pants really does suit that top nicely, such as our [Grazed] Minerva Pants // Black gift. They have suspender straps hanging down each hip and racing stripes on each side, plus openings in the front to show off a little leg :) We receive Legacy F, Legacy M, and Reborn sizes, so these are unisex and are baggy enough that they might even work with other bodies if you try. 

I really seem to have brought my inner rebel out to play today! Those pants look terrific with the Gaia - gift bralette top ACCESS Birthday. This shirt is as versatile as it is edgy, thanks to the HUD that offers 7 metal colors as well as an on/off option for the sleeves (both ways shown above). There is sizing for Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies provided. The little cross is lovely, and did you notice the subtle butterfly on the fabric?

One more look tonight, we wrap up with the flirty Stiff - Maxinne Shirt - Olive group gift. It is just long enough to be worn as a dress, or we can layer some leggings or jeans beneath if we wish. It fits Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 20 colors for the wide belt. I liked the black to bring out the dark collar, but I'm also a fan of mixing things up sometimes :)

It was a stressful day because of the weather, potential tornadoes in the area so I had to be ready to evacuate if things got worse. That meant I had to miss my support group meeting, which gave me a small case of the blues. I'll be fine, and I'll catch up with everyone there in 2 weeks, but for now I feel guilty and I genuinely miss seeing them. Sassy and Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we swing by the SWANK Event again for their Pride Hunt which is part of the Celebration of Colors themed round this month. The gifts are found inside rainbow striped flames, easy to spot and free if you have their free group tag active :) Be sure to explore both floors of this impressively sized event, and I'm confident that you will be very pleased with the sales offers and gifts you encounter. I obviously was as usual, lol, and will always happily plan on a high priority visit to these events.

My first look of the evening is a playful bodysuit with artwork of a voodoo doll seated on the front. The [LABELITA] Camilla Body Red gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. I'm not sure exactly what the doll signifies, but he looks like he could use a hug. I'm always up for that :) The ruffles are a flattering detail, and I always wind up drawn to the boldness of bright red.

Some of the treats are indeed Pride themed, like our Nala Design - Marianna Pride Outfit 1. The dress, anklets, and heels are all designed to fit Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive the rainbow earrings you see here, which go so well with the bands on the dress and the platforms of the shoes :) Speaking of shoes, how fun are those chains that drape across the toes and then along both sides? The anklets are optional since they are separate, but I do think they add a special something to the look.

{Le'La} Makana Set Gift is another great gift that you do not want to miss :) The top, cardigan, and skirt each come in sizes for Erika, Erika Bubble, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy bodies. Find the Black Angel Store flame, and you'll receive their VESNA DRESS by BA Store as your reward :) I must say, leopard print is one of those things that may rise in prominence from time to time but never truly goes out of style. It looks great here on the top and straps, contrasting the black skirt which looks oh so sexy with that opening on the left thigh. For my last look of the night, I combined two gifts that look so nice together that I've been wearing this outfit off and on for a couple of weeks now ;) The Vulnus Pride Hunt Gift knotted top has rainbow colored trim to match the rainbow arch and clouds on the front, and the upper back says "Vulnus 4 Pride" in multicolored text. Then I added our AXE SHORT ESTELA GIFT, one of my favorite pairs of shorts I've seen in SL in ages :) The floral pattern has lovely 60s and 70s vibes, just so bright and cheery, and the length is nice if you're wanting a decent amount of coverage (no cheeks hanging out lol) without feeling stuffy. They fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. With all those pretty colors of flowers, you could wear just about any top that you wish with these!

It felt like a long weekend, like each day went pretty slowly for me...I'm glad I went to the farmers market and it was nice despite being fairly hot, and I am relieved that I got lots of rest today. I don't know yet when I'll be going out anywhere this week, but it will most likely be to get my eyeglasses finally. The weather may affect that, but it just seems like common sense to have glasses as backup anyway when you wear contact lenses. Bleeding Solstice Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to Bleeding Solstice by Difony Events. It is a Gothic shopping experience that brings the darker side of each season or holiday they cover, and I am always curious to see what their 100+ designers have to offer. In addition to the many sales items, nearly all of the displays have a glowing globe next to them with a free gift inside (either buy for $0L, click to deliver, or pay $1L and you'll be refunded) for us to enjoy with no group tag required. That's a mighty fine way to start the weekend and to celebrate Sunday morning's summer solstice :)

I'm coming in hot with two gifts combines for the start of the post :) The EKC - Bloody Rose Solstice Jackets is actually a pair of jackets (the one on the right is named grey) which are each provided in Legacy and Reborn mesh body sizes. They are slightly opened in the front but nothing scandalous, lol, and fall just above the natural waist. It seemed like a natural pairing to add the aprelle wish jeans SOLSTICE GIFT, as it is fun to contrast with bright white adorned with a few black stars. These flare jeans will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. I appreciate how well they hug the booty and thighs, then we reach the knees and they widen to give a sassy look :)

Speaking of sassy, I had another pair of jeans I wanted to share but not another top. So instead of a shirt, I'm covering my breasts by hugging the ROUXE - Plushie GIFT :) Is it odd that I love it without being sure what it even is? I see bearlike ears, little paws/hands in front, a sweet smile, pretty eyes with envious lashes, and what looks like a tuft of hair/fur atop the head as it peeks out from a celestial designed bucket. It has a built in holding pose as you see here, and I am having fun snuggling it for sure. The AnaSTyle - ZAMIRA GREEN PANTS are a low rise style in pale sage green, which come in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Squish, and Waifu mesh bodies. We've got another snug fit down to the knee, then flare to make room for whatever footwear you prefer. 

Next I've shimmied into the alluring V-Twins - Kaothic Outfit gift, which I highly recommend for a wild weekend. The bra top, jacket, shorts, and boots are each included in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There are 2 HUDs enclosed as well - the outfit HUD has 9 colors to choose from for the jacket, jacket belt, top, shorts, and belt, plus 4 metals each for the jacket and belt. The boots HUD is similar as the same 9 colors can be applied to upper or lower portions of the boots. Bonus that I can't forget to mention, the fishnet stockings you see here are also provided as a BOM layer so easy peasy to wear :) I'm pretty sure this store specializes in biker wear if I recall correctly, so get your motor running!

My final look of the night is one of many wonderful nails available among our gifts :) The Nyxa gift called NY - GEM NAILS especially caught my attention with the fact that we receive not only the base nails but add-ons of gems to layer on top in several colors. The gems come in black, pink, red, and white versions, and those plus the square base nails are all included in Gen X, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD with 11 colors for the square nails so we can really mix and match things! Just hide the nails built into your hands (body HUDs usually have settings for this) and add the corresponding square nails, then choose your gems if you wish. I love the gold accents too, terrific on any color of gems.

Are we all ready for the weekend? I'm sure I will be extra toasty tomorrow at the farmers market, but sunscreen will be generously applied so I don't become a lobster ;) I'll be getting some tasty pierogis, and probably a few other things to nibble on throughout the week. SL23B Is Here!

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for the delightful SL23B which is a celebration of Second Life's 23rd birthday, and more specifically the Shop & Hop connected to it. There are 24 regions (18 moderate, 6 adult) with 20 designers apiece, so a total of 480 brands represented. That means 480 mini shops with discounted offers, and a free gift in every one as well :) I've been pondering the impressive longevity of Second Life, and how rare it is for a hobby or interest to be such a constant in our lives. I'm so grateful for it, and all these Shop & Hop events that bring together hundreds of talented creators really bring home what we all get to appreciate about our virtual world. I'm also very thankful to the FabFree team for their speed and dedication in getting their spreadsheet ready to guide us through the gifts! The doors just opened today to the public, and we have until the 19th of July to visit :) All of tonight's gifts are from the Dahlia region, as I find it simpler to organize them by region and share one at a time.

My first look of the evening is our MONOMANIA - Cocada gift, which is a lovely minidress with nearly bare back other than the playful straps draped about. There are 5 standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Mounds, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. There's even a HUD with 10 patterns for us to choose from. Also included but not shown is a floppy straw hat, only omitted because my current hairstyle doesn't play well with hats ;) I tried and got aggravated, lol, sorry about that. 

For a more formal look, the gorgeous Yuni - Olly Dress just might be the right gift to pick up. This deep teal and black gown cinches in at the waist with a corset style belt, so there is an alpha layer for our bodies from the waist down to give us that wasp waist :) The dress comes in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

I feel like I'm celebrating the roaring 20s, not current time but the 1920s of course, which is appropriate since the theme of SL23B is the Golden Age of Hollywood :) ARKONA is in that spirit with their Adelaide set black gift, starting with a flapper dress and heels in Maitreya sizes. There is also a separate gold rose brooch for the drop waist, and a headpiece with similar gold rose and a festive feather. The handkerchief hem and plush texture of the fabric are just fantastic, and I've always been intrigued by this particular era in fashion. Because of the theme, I'm thinking silent movie stars but I'm not sure which one this would represent most. 

One last look of the night, we have the stunning Just Imagine - Cherry outfit which is one of 5 gifts scattered around their amazing display. This one includes the top and shorts each in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, and Nhumana L mesh body sizes, plus the cherry earrings and sunglasses. If you look closely at the lenses of those shades, you'll see that there is a reflected image - clouds, sun, and palm trees :) We are absolutely ready for summer in this treat!

The last couple of days have been so hectic here, starting with yesterday's errands which went fairly well. Then I decided that a week of toe pain was enough to need a checkup, so today I went to the podiatrist and got it looked at. They x-rayed, 3 views, and there is no break or fracture, so we're treating it as a bad sprain. I get to continue icing it and buddy taping, and need to start wearing slippers around the house. I'm usually barefoot or in slipper socks, but I need something to provide stability and limit flexing of the toes. Oh well, at least I got to chat with my gaming friend tonight for the first time in several weeks :) She'd been sick and lost her voice, had a cough, and lost her hearing from inflammation in her ear, so it was important to let her heal. Tomorrow is dinner with the parents, which I always enjoy, and I still have 10 regions of SL23B to visit this weekend. Pride With SWANK

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the SWANK event and its Celebration of Colors round, which also has a Pride hunt for free group members. This means we are looking for what I'd describe as a wooden plaque shaped like a flame and painted with rainbow stripes. Once you see one, that'll make more sense :) Most aren't hidden and are easy to spot, with a few tucked behind signs or alongside a shelf but still noticeable. I'm always excited to see the generous gifts, and of course there is some impressive shopping to be done with 2 floors of a huge event with so many sales items to peruse. I've got a folder of demos so I can make up my mind on those before the round closes when the month ends. 

For my first look of the evening, I'm enjoying our GGVG PERRY OUTFIT GIFT. It consists of the knotted top, pants, and strappy heels, all in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is a HUD for the outfit with 5 colors for the top and 8 for the pants, then our heels HUD has 20 colors apiece for upper, heels, straps, lace, sole, and insole. Lots of mixing and matching to do, and I always appreciate that :)

If you need something flirty, be sure to pick up the KiraStyle // TOP-SKIRT 12 gift! There are Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy sizes for each piece, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 20 plaid and 20 solid colors each for the top and skirt, then 20 solids each for the edges/bows on the skirt and edges/bows for the top. Play around with the HUD and have fun with it, that's my motto for this type of outfit anyway :) The bows make me very happy, just as a random admiration of details that tickle me.

The bikini (top and bottom linked together as one piece) and sarong will both fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The bikini straps are accented by gorgeous pink gemstones (pink sapphire and morganite came to mind) and the sarong is tied low in the front and has pretty ruffled edging. This is such a lovely color and the gift is ideal for this time of year. 

Hawker's House has me just tickled pink (pun intended) thanks to their *HH* Ladies Mesh Ruffled Leotard n Leggings Carnation gift ;) There is a gift for men at the neighboring display by the way, one of several for the guys. This retro goodie has me thinking of Jane Fonda workout tapes or the Olivia Newtown John video for Physical, absolutely 80s fun! The leotard and leggings are each provided in sizing for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. For the best fit, please switch your feet to flat so the ankles are covered by the extended leggings :) Whatever you do in this outfit, please remember to hydrate and to stretch first...that's generally good life advice anyway that I ought to follow myself more consistently.

One last look tonight, we have the gorgeous JUMO Originals - ADORA Dress Shine gift. The coloring is striking, and I love the way the dress clings to the bust and then flows like a waterfall down to the knee. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes for us to enjoy. The colors remind me of a tropical bird, but I can't think offhand of which one; there are so many birds with plumage just as beautiful as this gift though :)

It was a decent day, and I am preparing for a very busy one tomorrow. That does mean no time to blog in the evening, but I'll be getting some errands done like shopping at Trader Joe's, which I am eagerly anticipating. The weather is a bit cooler than our recent heatwave, at least for a day or two before the temperatures soar again. Midsummer Spell On You

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back on the CMH Midsummer's Spell hunt path, searching for cute images of mushroom houses that either hold a $1L hunt prize or a $25L - $50L hunt exclusive offering. Each designer decides which and how many total they want to offer, and the hunt's website will help you with the landmarks, hints, prices, and previews :) The prizes are fantastic as usual, and the theme of Fae, Forest, Magical, and Romantic vibes is absolutely my cup of tea. I've always had a fascination with the mystical side of life, and certainly enjoy being able to explore it in SL.

There is something so classic about black and a dash of red on white, probably the ultimate color combo I'd describe as elegant :) This fairy reminds me of a drawing in a book from my childhood that I can't quite think of (not Tinkerbell although there's some resemblance) with the wispy dress, decorative swirls, and even some stardust for extra magic. Rainbows are such an elusive yet meaningful part of nature, showing up after storms to remind us that there is still goodness out there. Of course we do see it more during this month because of Pride, although usually not with these cute puffy clouds so I'm loving the different take on it :) This beautiful sundress has two wonderful bows on the back, and halter necklines seem perfect for summer. I'm also intrigued by the way that artwork can evoke emotions, making it a universal language in a sense. ACCESS Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to celebrate the ACCESS event and their 8th anniversary round. Join their free group if you aren't already a member, and you can click all the giftboxes you see at most of the displays to claim wonderful gifts :) It's such a consistently impressive event, great lineup of designers and lots of variety. There are plenty of unisex and men's gifts, so this is definitely not just for the ladies like we sometimes encounter in SL. So tell all your friends of any gender, and grab demos if you'd like because we have plenty of time since the round is open until the 8th of July.

First I was very excited to try on the Ascendant - Syra Dress 08, in a soft pastel green that reminds me of key lime pie :) This lovely gift includes sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is an opening across the waist that allows the top to be gathered and tied, much like both sides of the skirt hem. Those long bows and tails are fun little details, don't you think?

Our PROMAGIC Sukhada Top-Pride Month-ACCESS Gift is perfect for June, and intriguingly designed to be extra flirty. The cropped top is pulled up to reveal some underboob, and the white fabric either looks wet or slightly distressed. There are Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included in this treat. 

Next we take a peek at the sweet !!Kyutechi!! Vera Top *Lavender Gift* which is a cropped top with white trim and a small store logo on the front. I know you can't read it in my photo but it says "Kyutechi Threads" in a really fun font :) Our shirt will fit Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Reborn, V-Tech, and Waifu mesh bodies. I paired it (just like the previous gift) with the blue Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack freebie, one I highly recommend for its versatility. 

I decided that my avatar had gotten in all her steps today from walking all around the event, LOL, so she deserved some tasty treats. The MOVEMENT - Donut set FATPACK includes the Donut Caramel Shake you see in my right hand (photo left), the Donuts box in my left hand (right side of photo), and another shake not shown which is a Donut Strawberry Shake. They have the holding poses you see here, very helpful indeed. So which flavor donut would you choose? I'd go for the one that's on my shake, which looks like either top left or bottom right in the box (probably the same ones) but I'll bet they are all delicious.

We wrap up the evening coincidentally with some more lavender, thanks to the ELEVEN - Hoodie Gift. It's another cropped top with underboob, and the patch on the upper left chest reads "Antisocial Vibes Only". Admittedly my social anxiety probably makes this saying more appropriate, but I'm just the shy type for the most part :) The rear/side view shows the cute hood, and I think reinforces how short the hoodie is so I would be tempted to layer a BOM tank top or even a bra underneath for modesty purposes. This playful gift includes sizing for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies, plus a HUD with 3 metals. I really like (in RL too) the sleeves like this with loops to go around the thumb, keeping our palms warm and helping us pull or sleeves through a top layer if we're adding a coat to the outfit. They look playful yet practical :)

Whew, what an evening! The weather got a bit intense, so as I was trying to watch the Stanley Cup finals on ABC they kept beeping and showing warnings about the storms and tornadoes in the neighboring county. Once it reached my county, I was like "oh crap, I shouldn't be sitting here in front of 2 windows on the upper floor of a building..." and headed downstairs for a while. Housemate was also watching the game while on the phone with a friend, so I felt like I was intruding but was reassured that I wasn't. Safety first :) I forget exactly how long I was down there, but I watched the entire third period up here and saw Carolina win (not 'my' team but the housemate's original hometown team) and am happy for them. The weekend in general was good, other than my injured toes making me limp a little at the farmers market, and I am ready for whatever the coming week holds for me.
