Delightful Doves Dream

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back at the Doves Dream event, in the same region as Palomma Plaza which is noteworthy because that is the group tag you'll need to claim all the free gifts featured here. That's right, in addition to all the wonderful sales offers we can claim lots of generous gifts for the Palomma Plaza group with your "Doves Angel" tag active :) The event opened on Dove's heavenly birthday of March 11th, and continues until the 11th of April so you've got time to grab some demos, claim your gifts, and finalize your purchases. I've got my eye on at least three items to buy before then, lol, but I had to pay rent first of course. I love treating myself to something special in Dove's memory, and sharing these thoughtful gifts is a fun way for me to honor her.

My first look of the evening is the charming La Feminique Crystal gift. Isn't this perfect for spring? Maybe it's because I am a child of the 70s or it's just a love of bright colors, but I have always been drawn to tie dye like this stunning ~Sassy!~ Lenore tie-dyed dress. I've got two gifts combined for my final look, either of which can also be paired up with many other gifts or items you already have in your wardrobe. The Adore Amore Madilyn Sweater White is a lovely long sleeved knit top that twists in the front, showing off cleavage and a bit of midriff. Did you all have a pleasant weekend? :) Mine was pretty good, starting with a few errands on Saturday morning before and after the farmers market. It was a bit stressful being in the car that long, but I got through it so that is a positive. Things are progressing very nicely in the Pokopia game I've been enjoying, and therapy was productive this evening. Randomly I'm listening to music tonight instead of watching old tv shows and I think it's boosting my mood more than I expected :) It's a 70s/80s channel from the satellite radio, nothing special, but music really does affect how we feel sometimes. It's good because I was starting to worry about Tuesday already, when I'll be heading to the DMV for half the day for my photo ID picture taking. Sitting there waiting is not easy for anyone, let alone someone with anxiety and panic attacks, so I'm just trying to prepare by having a book and my phone ready to distract myself. No blog post Tuesday, will be decompressing LOL, and spending my photo-and-note-taking time dealing with bureaucracy instead. Hooray for the weekend! :) I just have this weird feeling of forgetfulness, so I am trying to put that aside for now. I had a nice time at my parents' for dinner, but unfortunately they have a funeral (mom's cousin on her dad's side, I never met him; he was 79 and had a stroke) tomorrow so they won't be at the farmers market that we all usually go to. It's one of those parts of life that is unpleasant but common, and I do feel badly for those who were close to him. There is no featured lunch at the market, so it should be a relatively quick visit with possibly another stop or two beforehand. Then therapy Sunday late afternoon, and otherwise my plans are mostly game-related :) I'm good with that, LOL, and it doesn't mean I literally won't be doing anything else, just that I don't have clear cut times set to do anything else specific. Steam XX Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're checking out the Steam XX Hunt, a twentieth anniversary round which is themed The Waltz of the Automatons. We are looking for a small gear or cog, an example of which you'll find on the hunt signs at each store which can be clicked for the hint. Some have it in hovertext so you don't even need to touch it :) Their website is a great guide too, with landmarks and some preview images of our free prizes. I've enjoyed so many Mieville Historical Hunts adventures over the years, so it's a pleasure to share their anniversary round with all of you. Be sure to check out the themed markets they mention on their website too for some fantastic shopping!

I start the evening with our K-Ks Designs Steamy in Pink prize, which is one of 3 treats inside their gear. There's also something for the men to wear, and a pair of goggles for all :) As for this portion, it starts with the dress in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Slink Physique, and a standard fitted version. Then we get to add the mask you see here, in pink and white to match the dress wonderfully. The strapless dress style makes me want to find a steampunk styled necklace in my inventory, and with how many of these hunts I've enjoyed previously I am certain that should be a cinch :)

Psyche's Pstyles Mechanical Dancer Dress & Key prize brings some delightful magic to the post, making me feel like I belong in a giant music box. The gilded strapless mini dress comes in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, while the included key for the back rotates slowly to help wind us up for dancing. I do suggest peeking at the styling notecard inside for details on how the vendor image was created and accessorized, so creative!

:.C!L.: Boutique is the perfect place to be a part of this hunt since they do feature historical fashions as well as more modern ones. Their Patrice Steampunk Victorian SuitDress & Hat prize includes the one piece dress in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with the hat I'm wearing that has a resizer script built in. It never fails that I am usually wearing the wrong hairstyle for hats, LOL, but I'm sure you get the idea :) The deep green and gold coloring makes me think of St. Patrick's Day and spring in general.

Next I changed into the gorgeous TMD Smoldering Gown for Women which is one of 3 prizes inside the Thistle Moon Designs gear (Dinkie and TD & Bebe versions being the others). Our dress of flowing lava will fit eBody, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The way the material pools in the front to look like the base of a volcano is such an eye-catching feature!

For my final look of the night, I am happily wearing the lovely Moonstar *V* Arabella Steampunk Suit and Shoes prize. The suit/gown comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Ocacin, and Voluptuous mesh bodies, with matching shoes that fit Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink mid height feet. The shoes are like wingtips, black and white that match the clothing so nicely. I feel like I'm ready to solve an old fashioned mystery, after which I should certainly dance with the automatons ;)

We dug into Pokopia for longer than anticipated during my gaming night, lol, and that was after Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Animal Crossing New Horizons. All cozy games, nice and soothing, and my friends helped me unlock a new area to find more pokemon. It is so nice to just build their habitats and wait for them to show up, noi fighting or throwing balls at them, and I'm having fun trying to remember their names from my Pokemon Go days :) I'm watching another late night (West coast) hockey game, and this one still has more than half a period left so it will keep me distracted for a while yet. I'll be glad to see my parents tomorrow for dinner to check in on my dad, who is doing well but I am still prone to worrying. March at Off-Line

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I checked in at "Off-Line" for their March group gifts, and the vendor is now working for this month :) This means I get to show you some of the wonderful treats they are offering out of 7 total for March, which seems to be the average for every month so far. Their group is currently $99L to join, which I think is worthwhile when you consider that there are several gifts per month as well as an Advent calendar coming in December. Their gifts tend to be fatpacks so you are receiving many looks in one, great for those of us with multiple favorite colors depending on the day or our mood. I was in a green mood yesterday of course, but today I'm feeling lilac I think :)

Let's start with the summery "Off-Line" x "Jenna" Bikini / Fatpack gift, which consists of the bikini top, bikini bottom, and denim shorts that I want to call Daisy Dukes ;) Each of these come in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a bikini HUD that offers 20 classic colors, 20 bandana pattern colors, and 20 swirled colors each for top and bottom. Then there is a shorts HUD with 7 denim hues each with black or white pockets, each solid or swirl textured. I really appreciate this versatility, and can easily imagine slipping off the shorts to dive into a pool or the ocean.

Those shorts and bikini bottoms came in handy to help me share another group gift, our "Off-Line" x "Octavia" Tank & Bag / Fatpack. Its bra, skirt, and thong each fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us choose from 21 colors each for the top, thong, skirt, and flame edged versions of the skirt. A few are patterns like the one on the right above, so the possibilities here are impressively numerous :) 

Yesterday turned out to be a complicated outing so I'm glad I had planned on not blogging in the evening. Three stops, no luck finding what I wanted to, and the extra time in the car was stressful. Speaking of stressful, my hockey team's west coast game is just starting overtime after we blew the lead, so I have been a screaming flapping magpie ;) Ohhh we just won in overtime, woohoo!! Otherwise I haven't had enough time to play the Pokopia game as much as I'd like, but should be able to make up for that in a few days. Another Great Egg-Scape

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're checking out more CMH Great Egg-Scape Hunt prizes, which I'm sure you can guess are hiding in decorated eggs. If you peek at their website you'll see samples of all 3 patterns, and inside you'll find either a $1L hunt prize or an exclusive for $25L - $50L. The weather is nasty here right now (power out, generator actually functional so far) but I am doing my best to post tonight, so fingers crossed!

I am planning on going out tomorrow and the timing means I won't have time to prep for a blog post, so I am planning on taking tomorrow evening off. That's why I really didn't want the weather to prevent tonight's post. The wind will be calmer, but the temperature will only be in the upper 30s so it will be a chilly trip. Our power has been restored but the wind is still wicked, so I can't guarantee that we won't have another glitch so I am looking forward to getting to bed earlier than usual.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is an invitation to REED in their new location because their group is temporarily free to join. They didn't specify for how long, and it's been a few days (looks like they posted "limited time" in the group on the 12th) so I am considering this a rush job :) They have several group gifts and two lucky boards above them, which are group only and change each minute. Fun fact - I forgot to remove a pair of black panties I was wearing, and you could see them faintly through those holes so I had to take them off so the pictures would show the true appearance. I'm going to suggest white or a tone that matches your skin for your undergarments.

Since I'm tired of winter weather and eager for some warmth, the REED - ISIS PINK romper is helping me daydream about sunshine :) The white trim brings out the cheery pink so well, don't you think? There are Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. I'm pondering what necklace to wear that the deep neckline will frame so nicely, and if it's one with matching earrings or bracelet, even better!

Next we take a peek at the charming REED - ANDREZA FATPACK gift, which is a low cut minidress with slender straps and a little ruffle at the hem. I love being able to customize a look this comprehensively, so we can fully make it our own. 

Our Reed - Iris Dress gift is a duo of playful strapless dresses with full layers to the very short skirt. For my final look tonight, I've changed into our group gift called REED - TALISA FATPACK. We've got a sexy tied crop top and low rise shorts, each in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, plus a HUD with 8 colors for each. They are mostly pastels so especially nice for spring, and I had fun mixing things up but you can certainly match the top to the shorts if you wish :) The puffy short sleeves caught my eye, and the shorts look like they've been pulled up to the hip bones on each side while dipped low beneath the navel. Slightly cheeky rear view, but not enough to be problematic I think.

The location of the farmers market I go to on Saturdays is at the end of a long row of connected buildings, so when it's windy out, it creates this intense wind tunnel that would blow their tents away (and actually has a few times). This week was a no-tent day because of strong winds. It was also a day for me to get windburn on my face, which I still haven't figured out how to prevent but I was wearing sunscreen so it isn't sunburn. I just have extremely sensitive skin unfortunately. The weather is going to get really nasty here tomorrow evening, with high winds and potential tornadoes, so I might have to skip blogging if I lose power or have to head somewhere safer. Dreaming With Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back at the Doves Dream event, with lots of exclusive offers and a group gift at nearly every display. The group is the same as for Palomma Plaza, an all free bounty of gifts where The Free Dove used to be. We lost Palomma "Dove" Casanova in 2023, but her spirit of generosity lives on as long as we still honor her memory :) Her RL birthday was the 11th which was the opening date of this annual event, and we have until the 11th of April to complete our shopping and gift claiming. I've got tons of treats to show you from this sweet event, so this is part two of who knows how many posts ;) 

I started the evening with our MadCatCreations gift called MCC - woman - tank dress pink latex. They also have a men's gift too, and a full perm version at a different booth, so that's a triple thank you to them :) Our tank dress comes in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Mounds, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. The texture  is such a fun one, with the highlights from the shine of the latex!

I always recommend trying them each on and deciding which you personally lean towards, I mean they are all in there for a reason :) The angel's wings stretch so gracefully across the collarbone area, and a strapless top would reveal this artwork nicely too.

Next I changed into the Asteria "Jojo" Gift for Doves, which consists of the dress and a separate halter so you can wear them together or enjoy the dress on its own. The dress color makes me think of mourning doves, as they are a creamy grey rather than a bluish tone usually, and I adore the style of this dress both with and without the harness.

I am one of the rare people out there whose life gets busier on the weekends rather than during the week, so they don't have quite the same party feeling for me. Not that they're bad or anything, but I do spend most of the week at home usually. So tonight was dinner at my parents', and tomorrow morning is a farmers market that I can't wait to visit :) I've been concerned about my friend's husband (also a friend, the couple from my Thursday gaming nights) who had a medical procedure done today, but he is home and recovering so that is a huge relief. Tomorrow's featured lunch vendor at the market is the hot dog truck, and their special for St. Patrick's Day is a hot dog with corned beef, kraut, Swiss cheese, and green mustard...that's about 4 reasons for a big hell no from me, LOL. I miss Irish potato candies, which I used to get each year from one of the vendors who has retired. Recently found out they are mostly a local thing, so I'll explain that there is no potato involved other than the shape - cream cheese, powdered sugar, and coconut mixed and rolled into small balls that are then rolled in cinnamon. I'm probably missing an ingredient there, vanilla perhaps. I haven't made them myself in about 30 years so it's hard to recall.
