Hunting with Harambee-Gwassi

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a bit of a variety, since I started with one hunt and hopped to another by the same folks :) That would be the Harambee-Gwassi charity store, who organize fantastic events and hunts for us to enjoy just about every single month. The first 2 prizes I found were from the July hunt, the Ice Cream Cone Hunt, then the rest are from August's Save The Sea Hunt. I completely understand that not everyone is ready for the new rounds each time the month changes, and am simply mentioning so you know what hunt objects you are looking for :) Also that helps you to know which hints to follow, and if the prize I share is no longer available by the time you read this, you can always check for the newer hunt prizes at that location instead. Each round has 2 hunt items available, for $3L and $10L apiece, so the websites are quite handy to have open to tell you which you seek. Also, you can get a notecard with links, pics, and hints by clicking the hunt sign at participating stores.

My first look is an Ice Cream Hunt prize found in a $3L triple scoop ice cream cone, the Violet Skies - Xanthe Outfit Lime. You'll need to unpack this the traditional way (rez on ground and right click to unpack) because of a no-copy BOM shirt inside, which is a cropped fishnet top you see above as the base layer. The mesh components are the bodysuit and skirt which are designed for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The outfit looks just as nice without the fishnet layer as it does with it, so let your personal tastes guide you there :) 

The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. is also running a little behind this month, which means we still have the chance to grab their $10L YOU'RE HOT Tee prize from the Ice Cream Hunt. We just have to find the pretty little cupcake, as this hunt was all about the sugar rush :) The cozy charcoal tank top says "Wow You're Hot" in bold 3D block lettering, and comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions. It's all on an unpacker HUD so you can deliver what you need right now and hang onto that HUD for future reference if you wish. That's what I always do anyway :)

Time to switch over to the Save the Sea Hunt, for which you can find the ILL Hazar outfit in a $3L oyster shell with pearl inside. This edgy top and skirt set includes sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I love the plaid on the skirt, looks fantastic with the black leather corset-laced waist and cropped top with open sides! It's going to be right at home in any Goth, alternative, or punk avatar's inventories.

Now I'm curious about the existence of eco-friendly pirates, thanks to the @rOrO Harlow Dress Pirate Print which is a $10L prize from Save The Sea inside a cute blue octopus hunt object. The bare shoulder style is a flirty favorite of mine, and the ruffle around the top and upper arms has such a fun pattern of sailing ships just like a pirate would have or commandeer. There are sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Pushup, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies included. I did notice an ice cream cone there too, so keep on searching if you'd like something else sweet.

My final look of the night is our $3L prize for Save the Sea (seashell with pearl) from GoodVibes called Moana. Isn't she lovely? I'm certainly feeling nautical and a bit naughty in the open weave dress covered with multicolored shells, while appreciating the two most carefully placed ones that cover the upper essentials ;) We also receive a string bikini bottom for added modesty, so where's your favorite adult beach to wear this to? We receive Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes of both pieces. 

It was a fun evening of gaming with friends online, and I am pleasantly surprised that my new glasses are ready to be picked up much sooner than expected :) It was supposed to be 2 weeks but I got the text today, and will be headed there before my parents' for dinner tomorrow. I wonder if they felt sorry for me, LOL, or just want to make sure I don't have any more reason to complain ;) Honestly I was very polite about everything and didn't blame anyone but my own brain for feeling too dizzy with the extra strong prescription. I'm eager to get things moving so I can prepare more for the cataract surgeries themselves, as much as I dread them, since it will drastically improve my vision. CMH Kawaii Summer

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for the CMH Kawaii Summer 2 Hunt, with treats to help you beat the heat in style. Visit each participating store and look for the cute popsicles (3 color stripes and a kawaii face) to claim the $1L hunt prizes or $25L - $50L hunt exclusives. Their website will guide you with landmarks, hints, and the prices, and you'll notice that many of the designers are offering multiple prizes so you'll want to follow those hints carefully. I love Cheeky Monkey Hunts and am always impressed by the creativity of their designers :) Also the theme really warms my heart, so I like to think of these offerings as virtual hugs to everyone who picks them up or sees one of us wearing them. We have until the end of the month to enjoy all this cuteness :)

Let's start out the evening with the $1L hunt prize from ART & FASHION called PLAYFUL AND FREE OUTFIT. Isn't this sweet shade of orange just perfect for summer? I immediately thought of a creamsicle, then a refreshing glass of orange juice on a bright sunny day :) The minidress and matching strappy platform boots are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. There is always beautiful artwork on this brand's clothing, and for this treat it is a young lady on a swing. As a kid I spent lots of time enjoying the exhilarating feeling of the wind through my hair and the sensation of flying as I swung back and forth on a swingset with my best friend.

Next we pop on over to Artistic Eye, who are generously offering a few different exclusive offers like this $50L ~AE~ Kawaii Top. Just look at those cheerful faces on all the cuties pictured on the front! ♥ I can't resist the gorgeous shade of blue either, or the fun bows on both sides. The jeans also came in handy for my final look of the night, which is our SweetSass Kawaii Panda Top for just $1L. The adorable faces on the clouds and sun above the panda remind me very much of the one on the hunt object, and how precious is this little cub who is nibbling on some tasty bamboo? Designer News Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some gifts for the Designer News group, which is free to join, from various stores all across the grid. This type of multi-designer group is such fun to explore, with posts to tell us about sales and new releases, as well as the group gifts that many designers will offer in their stores. If you're like me, you will see notices from brands you know and love, and you'll find some new-to-you designers who are ready to impress :) Ready to see what I've found?

Our first stop is Nyxa Atelier, where their gorgeous NY ASYMMETRICAL SPARKLE is our gift. This store actually is new-ish to me, as I'd shared a fantastic pair of mesh nails from them in June from an event. This dress comes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us pick from 10 lovely dark hues. The deep colors show off the texture beautifully, and I find it also draws attention to that unique style with open left side.

I also couldn't resist the .:AMUI:. "Joy" Dress - 11 group gift, one of several for various groups. The single sleeved minidress looks stunning in metallic argyle with fishnet sleeve and waist. It is provided in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I hope I'm correct in calling that pattern argyle, which is a type of plaid but I think usually plaid is horizontal and vertical rather than tilted for the diamond shapes we see here. 

Next we see the =Suna Designs= gift called S-Heliya dress red. This formfitting dress has a daring side slit on the skirt, and a sheer lacy bust that made me grateful for the nipple covers I'm wearing ;) They would be visible otherwise, so I do recommend pasties if you are wearing this to a non-adult rated destination. The dress will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Mounds mesh bodies and mods. This particular shade of red makes me think of a chili pepper! 

Now let's head to [C.Y<3 Fashion] to grab their adorable "Milly" dress gift :) It's actually a pair of dresses, pink and black versions, which are each included in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Also provided but not shown are a pair of black shoes that fit Slink feet. The pink version is rather romantic with its pattern of hearts and flowers, don't you think?

My final look of the night comes from BlondeQueen - their playful BQ::Girly Crop Top & Mini Skirt:: 2 colors set. The front says "girl gang" in fun script, and each top and skirt comes in olive/brown tartan or plum tartan. All of those are designed for Gen X Curvy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The wording on the front of the olive/brown tartan is in a pretty caramel color, which stands out as nicely as the hot pink on the plum tartan top :) 

I had a hard time getting decent sleep (kept waking up for no reason) but my support group session went well tonight, so I am doing okay. I think it's been about a year now that I've been part of that group, and I am grateful for the chance to talk things over with people who are also dealing with anxiety and agoraphobia. Luck at Le'La

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Le'La store, where the group is currently $100L to join and that gets us access to dozens of group gifts as well as their lucky chairs, lucky boards, and midnight mania boards for even more treats. These are all in a separate building, so my link should direct you there or you can go out the front door and look on the ground for a sparkly path leading to the building :) I'm still always gobsmacked by the notion of needing an entire building to hold all the free gifts and prizes you're offering for your group members!

I'm starting the evening with the newest group gift called {Le'La} Balma Swimsuit Outfit. This flirty bikini has extra straps and beads on both pieces, which really adds visual appeal. The top and panties are each provided in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizing. There's also a HUD of course, with 20 colors apiece for the bra, bra strings, bra beads, panties, panties strings, and panties beads. This means we can do a whole lot of customization here to make this look our own :) 

I won the {Le'La} Idun Bodysuit prize from the lucky boards on the left side of the back wall, and I am so glad I did! This suit could also serve as a swimsuit in my opinion, and it is provided in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Its HUD lets us choose from an impressive 70 textures each for the main fabric and the trim, with a mix of solid colors and patterns. As you can see, I like having the trim in a contrasting hue to make it stand out :) Of course and as always, I urge you to choose the colors or combo that makes you happy, as that is what fashion is all about.

This pretty and playful look is another lucky board prize, the {Le'La} Eevi Outfit. It includes the bare shouldered tied top, shorts with slit sides, and shoes that remind me of a cross between sneakers and moon boots. My weekend was fine, nothing particularly noteworthy really. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as quiet times are very welcome to someone with anxiety :) I'm trying to plan out my week ahead, and I think I've got things ironed out already which is a pleasant surprise. New Releases at Yasum

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is an invitation to the new releases section at Yasum Design, where the fantastic designer offers one color of each for just $1L. We can find which one by looking for a purple balloon animal above it, and the displays to check have a heart shaped balloon floating above them. Now that you've got the details on how to track the dollarbies down, I'm excited to show you some of the current discounted offers :) I'm a huge fan of this brand and really admire their original creations, very stylish and easy to wear. Casual but classy, flirty but elegant, I feel like you can find something to suit nearly any mood. I'm certainly not going to turn down the chance to save this much money and come home with a terrific new wardrobe!

My first look is the one I'll probably be wearing all weekend, the Yasum*Stacy-Set*Rose dollarbie. She's a sweet style with lace trim and a snug fit, whose top and shorts will each fit Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The metals HUD provided lets us choose from 5 metallic hues for the various rivets and clasps on both pieces. Pink is one of my favorite colors, so this pale shade suits my tastes very well :)

We can also look stunning in the Yasum*Jenny-Set*Moss outfit for just $1L. The cropped top is designed with the hands hidden and in the pockets, so you will need to use the enclosed alpha layer and hide your fingernails. The cargo pants come in the original version and one for the belt, so that's a top, 2 pants versions, and a belt add-on in total :) All of those come in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a metals HUD offering 6 choices for all the metallic bits and pieces. This one feels so playful, and it'll be autumn before we know it (how is it August tomorrow already?) so this outfit is going to come in extremely handy for the weather changes.

The Yasum*Jena*Berry outfit has me humming to myself...I believe in miracles, where you from, you sexy thing? The cropped top has a high neck and long sleeves, and works so well with the low rise leggings and their flirty distressed style. I forgot I was wearing physics so when my avi turned to show the rear, my booty had a little bit of jiggle (through one of the openings) that made me laugh :) For just $1L you'll receive the top and leggings in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. Now the challenge is to decide if I want to wear a belly tattoo, back tattoo, or navel piercing with this look. 

Next I changed into the Yasum*Shiho-Set*Peach outfit, which is intricately designed to turn heads wherever you go. It consists of the top, panties, skirt, and boots, all in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The top's HUD offers 6 metals each for the mesh and metal, while the boots HUD has the same 6 options for mesh and buckles. Now by mesh they mean the sections in the panties and knees, mesh like a screen door rather than fitmesh like the whole outfit is :) The skirt being all straps is such a fun detail, like a looser version of the mesh inserts that give it all a breezy cool feeling. This pale peach is pretty similar to the rose color from the first outfit I showed above, and I do adore them both.

My final look of the night is two pieces that are meant to be together - the Yasum*Tender-Dress*Sky and their Tender-Corset*Sky. They are just $1L each, and the dress looks amazing with or without the corset added :) Unpack the dress and you'll find Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu sizes inside, and our corset includes coordinating Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn sizing as well as a metals HUD with 6 options. I can also imagine wearing the corset with some BOM lingerie, like a favorite bra and panty set with some thigh high stockings. 

I'm a little groggy from very interrupted sleep for no reason, no noise or storms or anything like that. So I hope everything I've said here makes sense :) Dinner at my parents' house was really nice as usual, and I was lucky that their very shy birds decided to let me handfeed them a tortilla chip. It's all about trust, and these two have almost none for most humans. They're okay with my dad since they seem to trust men more than women, but my mom and I usually get ignored or avoided. The farmers marker is closed tomorrow (and next weekend) so I'm just randomly going out a few other places in the afternoon. There are always errands to run, and it should be decent weather other than being cloudy. TeleportHub Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore to find some TeleportHub.com group gifts, which is always an adventure as with all of these multi-designer groups :) This one has a small $10L fee to join, which keeps us safe from spam and scams, so I've never regretted that tiny donation to the cause. The notices are full of information on new releases and special sales, and every participating designer can choose to offer a gift for the group at their store if they wish. They are usually easy to spot, since most are in a special frame with the name of the group and buttons to click for the website and to join the group. I've been a member for ages and it is always fun checking to see what's new :)

My first stop was BlondeQueen, where their current TeleportHub treat is called BQ::Magdalene Openback Dress FAT PACK. So pretty, with a splash of flirty! The dress comes in baby blue, black, hot pink, nude, plum, powder (pale pink), red, and white, which are each packaged separately. Open your chosen color and you'll find sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Prima, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The back is as advertised, lol, scooped down low enough to show off a little bit of booty cleavage. The embossed floral pattern is such a nice touch too, don't you think?

The HORL - Poppy Outfit is an eye-catching gift in black leather. The halter top and side-laced skirt are each designed to fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It is so detailed with all of the straps, rivets, and even a tiny buckle on the lower strap of the top. I'd like to wear it to an 80s club on rock night!

Next I've slipped into the gorgeous TOG STORE . Berry Set crossed halter dress. Its front opening is loosely held closed by two slender straps, and the back is completely bare which means it's a great time to show off a tattoo if you've got one. We receive sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, along with a HUD offering 9 texturing options. Each button is split to show that there are two colors or patterns in each, one for the main dress and the other for the trim. We've got a great variety here, as you can tell from just the two I'm sharing above.

Sometimes we need a smart casual outfit, and the GGVG ELA OUTFIT GROUP GIFT is certainly ready to fit that bill :) Its knotted top, jacket that ties about the waist, and snug shorts are each included in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with an adjustable hat in a visor style. The HUD offers 14 main colors and 8 edges each for top and shorts, plus 14 colors for the jacket and 8 for the hat. I'll be wearing this quite often this summer, with or without both the hat and the jacket :)

My final look this evening is fantastic for summer too - the Belle Epoque - Carol Bikini - GIFT. Our bra and panties are separate pieces in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The floral pattern really pops against its dark background, and the rear view is a bit cheeky so this is best reserved for mature rated destinations. My skybox apartment has a hot tub, so that's the first place I'm headed in it :) 

Whew, so my visit about my glasses was effective but challenging. The original prescription was very strong and made me excessively dizzy and nauseated, so I was hoping they could make sure things were aligned properly with my pupils and if so (they were) if the doctor there could adjust the script. Well she was hard to explain, and I'm trying not to be rude which makes one of us. Said my usual doctor sucks at refractions (??) and asked if she overheard me saying I didn't like the other doctor. I did not say that and told her so, and she snapped "oh just SAY IT, safe space in here!" which was bizarre. No ma'am, it does not feel like a safe space if you're mad that you misheard me saying that I wouldn't be able to see them for several weeks and needed the script adjusted sooner than that. She then insisted that I must have a metabolic disease if I have cataracts so young without diabetes or eye trauma since there are only 3 causes at my age. She was going to call her mom to ask what I needed blood testing for from my primary care doctor, LOL, seriously her mom is an eye surgeon so that isn't quite as weird as it sounds, but I don't think she did call. End result - I am now waiting another 2ish weeks for a new pair of glasses to be ready, and then I'll try again. Life is so weird sometimes, isn't it? Off-Line Gifts for July

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am finally able to share the July group gifts from "Off-Line" :) Their group is $99L to join, and there are 5-7 gifts for each month as well as an Advent calendar in December with daily treats. That is certainly worth the fee in my mind, and if you agree I do hope you stay in the group for year-round goodies. I'd been checking every day or two and today was the first time the July gifts were active (scripting in SL can be glitchy) so I am eagerly sharing while noting that I'm expecting the July gifts to be active for a while now :) I know it's close to the end of the month, but hopefully you still have some time to stop by.

My first look of the evening is our gift called "Off-Line" x "Silvia" Dress / Fatpack. The long sleeved crop top and sleek miniskirt are tied together to create this flirty dress, in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Each size is packaged in black, buttercream, cantaloupe, grey, lavender, lemon, lime, marzipan, nude, periwinkle, pigeon, pistachio, rose, salmon, spring, taffy, tangerine, thistle, turquoise, and white. Can you guess which colors I'm wearing? It's buttercream on the left, and tangerine on the right :)

I really enjoy the "Off-Line" x "Summer" Set / Fatpack gift for this time of year, but probably also spring and fall :) The top and skirt (with jacket tied around the waist, attached) are each included in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. There is also a HUD enclosed for each - the top's HUD has 20 color choices in solid, thrasher logo, or palm angels logo (Palm Angels on the left above, Thrasher is the flames logo on the right) while the skirt HUD offers the same 20 colors for skirt, jacket, or jacket prints which is the softly tie dyed texture on the left above. The versatility always makes me smile, and I really like their color palette. 

For something formfitting from high neck to below the knee, with the added appeal of a corset waist, you'll want to open the "Off-Line" x "Gigi" Dress / Fatpack :) The dress fits Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 20 colors each for the dress and corset. It really hugs our curves in all the right places, doesn't it?

Next we take a look at the cozy "Off-Line" x "Nelly Essentials / Fatpack gift, which is comprised of crop tee and panties in sizes for BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. Each package contains black, buttercream, cantaloupe, grey, marzipan, pigeon, rose, salmon, tangerine, thistle, and white versions of each piece. The various colored tops all seem to have a different logo or image on the front, like the salmon I'm wearing on the left (with white panties) says Tokyo, and thistle (worn on the right with grey panties) says Day Dream. The tops give a very busty appearance, so people will probably be trying to read your shirt or at least pretending that is why they're staring ;)

My final look of the night is called "Off-Line" x "Stassie" Bikini / Fatpack, and this gift has me feeling like heading for the nearest beach or pool! We receive an unpacker HUD each of Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya body sizes. Open one up and you'll find black, buttercream, camo, cantaloupe, cobalt, grape, grey, lavender, lemon, lime, marzipan, nude, passion, periwinkle, pigeon, pistachio, rose, salmon, spring, taffy, thistle, turquoise, and white inside. I'm wearing the turquoise on the left above, and passion on the right. The back cutout makes it look like a two piece from the rear, but a one piece with pretty slender belt tied around the waist from the front view. 

It was a stormy evening and we lost power for a little bit, while I was in the first half of typing this post out as a matter of fact. At least it came back quickly, and I am not too far behind :) Tomorrow I'll be going back to the Target optical department to try to get the situation with my glasses resolved, so no blog post since I'll be busy and/or dizzy. Yep, I rhymed that inadvertently ;) I am looking forward to finding out why they made me so dizzy and queasy, if the prescription is too strong or something is out of alignment.
