Pride With SWANK

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the SWANK event and its Celebration of Colors round, which also has a Pride hunt for free group members. This means we are looking for what I'd describe as a wooden plaque shaped like a flame and painted with rainbow stripes. Once you see one, that'll make more sense :) Most aren't hidden and are easy to spot, with a few tucked behind signs or alongside a shelf but still noticeable. I'm always excited to see the generous gifts, and of course there is some impressive shopping to be done with 2 floors of a huge event with so many sales items to peruse. I've got a folder of demos so I can make up my mind on those before the round closes when the month ends. 

For my first look of the evening, I'm enjoying our GGVG PERRY OUTFIT GIFT. It consists of the knotted top, pants, and strappy heels, all in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is a HUD for the outfit with 5 colors for the top and 8 for the pants, then our heels HUD has 20 colors apiece for upper, heels, straps, lace, sole, and insole. Lots of mixing and matching to do, and I always appreciate that :)

If you need something flirty, be sure to pick up the KiraStyle // TOP-SKIRT 12 gift! There are Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy sizes for each piece, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 20 plaid and 20 solid colors each for the top and skirt, then 20 solids each for the edges/bows on the skirt and edges/bows for the top. Play around with the HUD and have fun with it, that's my motto for this type of outfit anyway :) The bows make me very happy, just as a random admiration of details that tickle me. 

I'm a longtime fan of this next brand, so the :: pm :: Bahia Bikini Set -pink- gift from purplemoon is a real treasure. The bikini (top and bottom linked together as one piece) and sarong will both fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The bikini straps are accented by gorgeous pink gemstones (pink sapphire and morganite came to mind) and the sarong is tied low in the front and has pretty ruffled edging. This is such a lovely color and the gift is ideal for this time of year. 

Hawker's House has me just tickled pink (pun intended) thanks to their *HH* Ladies Mesh Ruffled Leotard n Leggings Carnation gift ;) There is a gift for men at the neighboring display by the way, one of several for the guys. This retro goodie has me thinking of Jane Fonda workout tapes or the Olivia Newtown John video for Physical, absolutely 80s fun! The leotard and leggings are each provided in sizing for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. For the best fit, please switch your feet to flat so the ankles are covered by the extended leggings :) Whatever you do in this outfit, please remember to hydrate and to stretch first...that's generally good life advice anyway that I ought to follow myself more consistently.

One last look tonight, we have the gorgeous JUMO Originals - ADORA Dress Shine gift. The coloring is striking, and I love the way the dress clings to the bust and then flows like a waterfall down to the knee. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes for us to enjoy. The colors remind me of a tropical bird, but I can't think offhand of which one; there are so many birds with plumage just as beautiful as this gift though :)

It was a decent day, and I am preparing for a very busy one tomorrow. That does mean no time to blog in the evening, but I'll be getting some errands done like shopping at Trader Joe's, which I am eagerly anticipating. The weather is a bit cooler than our recent heatwave, at least for a day or two before the temperatures soar again. Midsummer Spell On You

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back on the CMH Midsummer's Spell hunt path, searching for cute images of mushroom houses that either hold a $1L hunt prize or a $25L - $50L hunt exclusive offering. Each designer decides which and how many total they want to offer, and the hunt's website will help you with the landmarks, hints, prices, and previews :) The prizes are fantastic as usual, and the theme of Fae, Forest, Magical, and Romantic vibes is absolutely my cup of tea. I've always had a fascination with the mystical side of life, and certainly enjoy being able to explore it in SL. 

Our first stop of the evening is offering one of each price point as usual, and I am a very grateful magpie ♥. The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. HEAVY LIFT Tee is the sweet $1L top on the left, with a tiny image of a winged elephant who is giving those wings quite a workout. On the right you can see our BRITE SPRITE Tee which is their $25L exclusive offer, with a fairy showing her rainbow wings that resemble paint splashed by an enchanted brush. There is something so classic about black and a dash of red on white, probably the ultimate color combo I'd describe as elegant :) This fairy reminds me of a drawing in a book from my childhood that I can't quite think of (not Tinkerbell although there's some resemblance) with the wispy dress, decorative swirls, and even some stardust for extra magic. She is holding a flower with a heart shaped bloom that is our lone touch of vibrant color. Lovely!

ACCESS Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to celebrate the ACCESS event and their 8th anniversary round. Join their free group if you aren't already a member, and you can click all the giftboxes you see at most of the displays to claim wonderful gifts :) It's such a consistently impressive event, great lineup of designers and lots of variety. There are plenty of unisex and men's gifts, so this is definitely not just for the ladies like we sometimes encounter in SL. So tell all your friends of any gender, and grab demos if you'd like because we have plenty of time since the round is open until the 8th of July.

First I was very excited to try on the Ascendant - Syra Dress 08, in a soft pastel green that reminds me of key lime pie :) This lovely gift includes sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is an opening across the waist that allows the top to be gathered and tied, much like both sides of the skirt hem. Those long bows and tails are fun little details, don't you think?

Our PROMAGIC Sukhada Top-Pride Month-ACCESS Gift is perfect for June, and intriguingly designed to be extra flirty. The cropped top is pulled up to reveal some underboob, and the white fabric either looks wet or slightly distressed. There are Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included in this treat. 

Next we take a peek at the sweet !!Kyutechi!! Vera Top *Lavender Gift* which is a cropped top with white trim and a small store logo on the front. I know you can't read it in my photo but it says "Kyutechi Threads" in a really fun font :) Our shirt will fit Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Reborn, V-Tech, and Waifu mesh bodies. I paired it (just like the previous gift) with the blue Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack freebie, one I highly recommend for its versatility. 

I decided that my avatar had gotten in all her steps today from walking all around the event, LOL, so she deserved some tasty treats. The MOVEMENT - Donut set FATPACK includes the Donut Caramel Shake you see in my right hand (photo left), the Donuts box in my left hand (right side of photo), and another shake not shown which is a Donut Strawberry Shake. They have the holding poses you see here, very helpful indeed. So which flavor donut would you choose? I'd go for the one that's on my shake, which looks like either top left or bottom right in the box (probably the same ones) but I'll bet they are all delicious.

We wrap up the evening coincidentally with some more lavender, thanks to the ELEVEN - Hoodie Gift. It's another cropped top with underboob, and the patch on the upper left chest reads "Antisocial Vibes Only". Admittedly my social anxiety probably makes this saying more appropriate, but I'm just the shy type for the most part :) The rear/side view shows the cute hood, and I think reinforces how short the hoodie is so I would be tempted to layer a BOM tank top or even a bra underneath for modesty purposes. This playful gift includes sizing for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies, plus a HUD with 3 metals. I really like (in RL too) the sleeves like this with loops to go around the thumb, keeping our palms warm and helping us pull or sleeves through a top layer if we're adding a coat to the outfit. They look playful yet practical :)

Whew, what an evening! The weather got a bit intense, so as I was trying to watch the Stanley Cup finals on ABC they kept beeping and showing warnings about the storms and tornadoes in the neighboring county. Once it reached my county, I was like "oh crap, I shouldn't be sitting here in front of 2 windows on the upper floor of a building..." and headed downstairs for a while. Housemate was also watching the game while on the phone with a friend, so I felt like I was intruding but was reassured that I wasn't. Safety first :) I forget exactly how long I was down there, but I watched the entire third period up here and saw Carolina win (not 'my' team but the housemate's original hometown team) and am happy for them. The weekend in general was good, other than my injured toes making me limp a little at the farmers market, and I am ready for whatever the coming week holds for me. Paparazzi Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking a tour of several stores, all of which have a group gift for the Paparazzi group which is currently free to join. That means that these goodies won't cost you a thing, so it is absolutely worth the effort of teleporting a few times :) I'm always interested to see which stores are a part of each of these multi-designer groups, and the variety for posts featuring them makes me quite happy. 

My first beautiful look is the ART & FASHION - NOTTE BLU LONG DRESS group gift for Paparazzi. The gorgeous color caught my eye first, and of course the sheen of the material is a show stopper :) Maybe you noticed the style first, a halter with black choker built in and daring opening on the left leg. The dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

Another fantastic gift I found was at Delicatt Couture, where their June gift for this group is the Hellen Outfit. There are Freya, Isis, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Slink Hourglass, and Hourglass Petite sizes each for the top and skirt, with a fun HUD that lets us choose from 14 textures apiece. Most of the tops' options are prints like the two above, and all the skirt choices are solid colors that go perfectly with the various prints and solids for the top. The lace trim on both pieces helps bring the look together in my opinion, and I really appreciate the variety.

I had to get creative with my posing to show you the S-Heliya dress purple dark gift from Suna Designs, as the top is flirty sheer lace :) If you have pasties that match your skin tone, I'd recommend wearing them beneath for modesty if you wish. I love that it's in one of my favorite colors, and the side slit of the skirt grabbed my attention right away too. This gift includes sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Mounds mesh bodies.

The single long sleeve is black fishnet to match the waistband, and the main fabric gives romantic Goth vibes with the red roses on golden stems that are studded with thorns. It's been a weird day, starting with the heat advisory that made us cancel dinner at my parents' to avoid being outside at all in those high temps. Then tonight I managed to trip and stub the heck out of a couple toes on my right foot, so going to the farmers market in the morning is questionable. It depends on if I can walk yet or squeeze the swollen toes into sneakers I guess. I missed last week so I really don't want to have to stay home again! Otherwise my only set plans are therapy on Sunday, and spending time enjoying the Hello Kitty game's update with new characters and quests. Simply Scandalized

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for versatile clothing with lots of HUDs, so I headed to the SCANDALIZE group building for some treats. That's right, an entire building with over 200 gifts await anyone who joins their $90L group :) That is quite a bargain if you break it down per group gift, and it's a nice way to indulge in a bit of self care. We all deserve new wardrobes, and with all of these lovely fatpacks we can choose our colors and mix things up quite a bit. This time all of the gifts I'm showing you can be found on the left side of the building, mentioned in the hope that you will be able to track down any specific favorites you see here.

First I've slipped into the SCANDALIZE. FRAYA SET .FATPACK group gift, as the siren's song of denim called to me ;) Our tank top, jeans, and add on (the black strap hanging from a belt loop on the front left of the jeans) are each included in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The top's HUD has 40 solid colors and 30 patterns for the top, and 40 for the lace trim. Our denim HUD offers 10 shades, and the add on HUD has 11 words or phrases in white lettering to apply to the black strap. I chose "pizza" because of my dinner, LOL, but there are a few that are much more spicy ;)

There is much more to this brand than their amazing denim though, for example the SCANDALIZE-FAMELE SET MEGA FATPACK gift. There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Rolls sizes apiece of the top, leggings, and waist chain, and of course we receive a handy HUD as well. If the cropped top is drawn up too high for your liking (the bows obscure the nipples from some angles but they aren't fully covered), you can easily wear a BOM bra of your choosing beneath if you wish.

It consists of the bra top, sleeves (more of a shrug since it goes across the shoulders too) and pants in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The optional sleeves mean we can wear this in almost any weather or season too :)

I am having one of those days where I feel like I'm forgetting all the things, lol, since brain fog is just awesome. Eyeroll. Otherwise I'm doing okay, and just mentally preparing for day two of the heat advisory we are currently under. It's just not pleasant when the temperature outside feels several degrees hotter than normal body temp, ya know? Any readers to my south are probably more used to that of course, and you have my deepest sympathies because you must have even steamier weather right about now. I know my mom is going to offer me soup to start out dinner tomorrow (we aren't fancy, just a habit she got into instead of salads) and I'm going to struggle not to laugh at her ;) She usually throws together some veggies from farmers markets diced up with a can of beans and some seasoning, no set recipe and she'll either add gluten free pasta or rice for a little more substance. Usually I enjoy it very much :) The Hello Kitty game I've been playing for over a year got another update earlier, but there is a lag issue that they are trying to hotfix. Swank Celebrations

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back to the SWANK event's Celebration of Colors round for June, which includes a Pride hunt to look for rainbow striped flames that look like wooden plaques, very pretty. This might be the easiest hunt you ever do, since most aren't really hidden and the ones that are might just be tucked behind a sign or along side a shelf but still visible. There's a HUD for the boots as well, with matching 9 colors for upper and lower sections and 4 metals. Just use the tabs on the top of each HUD to change what area is being tinted. I purposely chose different colors for parts 1 and 2 of the dress and of the boots to distinguish, but it looks fantastic with everything all the same or even without the jacket for those hotter days.

Next I had some fun celebrating the season with our **SIMONE DREW PRIDE STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** gift from V8 Underground. The bright red tank top, rainbow striped leggings, and red sneakers will yellow trim each come in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. V8 Underground loves their accessories too, so we also receive the headband, necklace, and earrings with fun rainbow flags on each :) They are all adjustable so we can fit just about any size or shape body. 

I feel like sequins are essential for Pride month too, so I couldn't resist sharing the .:FlowerDreams:. Aisha gown - shiny gift! This full length dress has a crossed halter top and open midriff with wrapped skirt tied on the hip, showing off a lot of leg. There are 18 gorgeous textures on the enclosed HUD, and the gown is included in eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. That's a nice range of older and newer brands and styles, since I know that some folks prefer to stick with the body they've been enjoying for several years and others crave the newest ones :) 

Our Ruxy-Aaminah Single Color lavander gift is absolutely ready to bring the flirt factor. Its top and bottom each fit Legacy, Perky, Perky Nerido, Maitreya, and Maitreya Domina mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included with 6 metals each for the beads (trimming the bra), leaf, and rose. I appreciate the ability to customize the decorations on this lovely outfit, and I must say that this color is dreamy too. I feel like every time I see its name in SL it's spelled differently, lol, like the region Lavendar that will probably be a part of SL23B in just over a week. Spellcheck here says lavender is correct for American English, but it's a stunning hue no matter how it's spelled.

My final look tonight is actually two of the 4 goodies I found from the same brand, as they (like many of these designers) have multiple booths at the event. The Swank & Co. Sassy Sailor Dress - Scuba is the beauty to the left above, with their Sassy Sailor Dress - Pin Up from behind on the right. Each of these include 5 fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. There are so many great details here worth mentioning, like the bow in the front/back and the double breasted style of buttons on the midriff. These dresses whisper summer, as they are classically retro and therefore too ladylike to scream in my headcanon ;) I associate dark blue and white with nautical designs, and the polka dots are such a cute touch on the Pin Up version.

It was a productive day yesterday, and I got some really tasty pizza while I was out. I got my new contact lenses yesterday, so I put them in today (after sleeping with no lenses at all to let my eyes breathe) and they are working out well so far. The left eye is only 0.50 stronger, and I totally derped by putting it inside out so I had some discomfort at first that freaked me out. You'd think after 40 years of wearing contacts, I'd know better? LOL! But the other eye is a -2.00 increase so you'd expect a drastic difference, however the cataract seems worse in that eye so very little improvement. Shrug, I'm guessing they will do the right eye first since it's worse. My gaming friend is still sick (bronchitis, ear infection, bad cough and hoarse voice) so we aren't doing our usual gaming night this week either, but with some luck the new meds will do their jobs and get her better soon. I'm still playing the usual games regularly, just having slightly less fun without random hilarious chats with her.
