More Happy Weekend Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a few more wonderful group gifts to share from the ACCESS Happy Weekend Anniversary event. You'll need the free ACCESS group tag active to be able to click all the pretty kitties sitting atop cupcakes, which are among my favorite gift givers I've seen in SL :) The event is open until the 30th, so we have over a week remaining to pick up gifts and make all our purchases. I've got my folder of demos ready for final selections, lol, and the quality of these gifts have influenced a few of those decisions for the better. Some brands I've already known and loved for ages, so those are no-brainers.

I'm certainly starting the evening in style, thanks to our Yuni - kayle Outfit gift! Its top and skirt are separate pieces, and will each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive an alpha layer for the skirt to keep our legs from peeking through, since it is a slender fit through the lower thighs and upper calves before flaring out, mermaid style.

The skirt portion helped me share our gift from Kaithleen's, their Latex Ribbon Top - Yellow. It caught my eye as being elegant yet sexy, wrapping around the bodice with just one short sleeve. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh bodies. As you can probably guess, there's a HUD in there too which offers 16 colors each for 2 sections of the top :) You can leave it all solid sunshine yellow if you wish, or play around with the buttons and decide what matches your mood the most on any given day.

Sometimes I just need a pop of pink, and the LEROY - Ester Cropped - Pink top happily made that wish come true :) It reminds me of a strapless bra, with lovely seams to provide support, and the two shades of pink (which look almost lavender or orchid in my lighting) are gorgeous together! Claim this treat and you'll receive Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. It also looks great with the skirt from gift #1 above, but of course you can pair it with all sorts of your favorite wardrobe staples.

Next I've slipped into the stunning ELEVEN - Orion Dress [gift] which is a very pretty pastel purple satin that I absolutely love :) The lace trim on the bodice is sheer, so I'm wearing nipple covers but you will probably get some show-through without them. Aren't those crossed straps in the back beautiful? Our dress even has built in thong panties that can be turned on and off with the transparency HUD enclosed for them, either 100% or 0% transparent. The dress is provided in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I figured this was a good time to share a tattoo gift, so the ONYX. Butterflies Tattoo would be the pink beauties fluttering along my collarbone, upper arms, and upper back. There are faded and fresh BOM layers included, and I'm wearing the fresh version so I'd say they are on the soft and subtle side :) That would probably be my RL preference as well, so I am very pleased with this gift.

My final look this evening is our REED - MAELIE // ORANGE dress. It is another lovely slip dress with built in panties, and it's cut low to show off cleavage. The gift includes Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 12 colors for the panties and a button to take them off. The light orange hue reminds me of a creamsicle, which randomly made me think of how I have never tried a dirty soda yet but that is a flavor that someone mentioned to me that made me really intrigued by the idea :) It's really wild when an SL gift makes me want RL food or drink, lol, but it clearly does happen.

My weekend went from decent to challenging, now back to decent I suppose. The farmers market was startlingly quiet, with many vendors missing, and when I got home I decided to try my new glasses. Took out the old contacts, put on the glasses, got nauseatingly dizzy and could barely see anything other than fuzz and blur. After about 90 minutes of sheer hell, I took them off and took a nap to try to ease the dizziness. When I woke up I put in my new contacts, and after 24 hours without the glasses I was still intensely dizzy. My brain has mostly stopped spinning now, lol, but I'm scared to test the glasses out again. Tomorrow I've got an anxiety support group meeting, so I expect this will come up in conversation there. I'm not saying I will never try the glasses again or anything, just that I am hesitant and have some anxiety about it. Otherwise I am still not sure what my outing for the week will be, and just feel like I need more sleep at this point. Cremosas Calendar

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is full of group gifts from Cremosas, who generously do a calendar each month for their free group. So all of these looks are found on that calendar, and I wound up sharing the first five of the month :) That means there are plenty more I can share in the very near future, so if you like what you see I'll suggest you stay tuned. There are lots of gifts that are not part of the calendar for this free group, as well as treats for many multi-designer groups that you may already be a member of. Look around, have fun, and I'm sure you'll see why I enjoy my visits here so much!

I'm starting the evening with a flirty bodysuit whose white ruffles made me think French maid costume :) This is the Cremosas - Body B 1 gift, which you can tell by the number is the first gift on the calendar :) It comes in sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, which looks to be their new standard set because it is the same for all of tonight's outfits.

Naturally that leads us to the Cremosas - B 2 dress, which is from the second date/box on the calendar. The X stitching on the front and back of this sleek sleeveless minidress make it so flattering, just hugging and celebrating those curves! It comes in the same sizes as the first look I showed you, while a very different style in itself.

I've mentioned recently that my body skin (enLight Xtreme Model Skin) comes with nipple covers, and I had to remember to wear them again here to share this flirty dress ;) The Cremosas - B 3 dress has a sheer lace panel for most of the bodice, with high neck and bare shoulders. I really like the way the skirt is slightly longer in the back, and very full for a playful style.

The Cremosas - B 4 dress is our fourth gift from the calendar, and those side views made me say WOW! The essentials are covered while the sides are held with the most slender threads imaginable, and the skirt has a playful hem that scoops up and down along the front. We receive the same set of sizes (Erika, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Waifu) as the other goodies tonight. 

For my last look of the night, I'm enjoying our Cremosas - B 5 dress gift. I'm sure you can guess by now which number on the calendar it can be found in ;) The halter neck and the bows caught my attention first, well tied (pun intended) for first I guess, however I'm guessing the cleavage-framing neckline will turn plenty of heads too. Same sizing as the other gifts tonight, and just a fantastic treat like the others. 

Well, I picked up my glasses before heading to my parents' for dinner, and they are fairly comfortable for what they are. I only tried them on for a moment since I still have/had my contact lenses in, but they said if there are any issues with fit I can come back in and have them adjusted. I'm wearing my contacts to the farmers market in the morning but taking them out to wear the glasses for a while when I get home. It is supposed to be warm again this weekend, and we are having air quality issues from the wildfires in Canada even though they are very far away from me. I forget if I mentioned that our air quality level was purple yesterday, like I didn't know it went any higher than red but there are 2 levels worse and we were one of them! That made me a little nervous about going out earlier, but obviously I got through it :) I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

ACCESS Happy Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more ACCESS group gifts from their Happy Weekend Anniversary event, all claimed by clicking the cutest kittens sitting atop cupcakes at most of the displays :) Who can resist the serotonin from the kitties and the virtual sugar rush from cupcakes? However the best part is the amazing gifts, which are here to celebrate the 7th anniversary of Happy Weekend. The ACCESS group whose tag we need is free to join, and the event is open until the 30th so there is plenty of time to grab demos and do some shopping too.

I'm starting with the striking {eternal dream} sordidus set {white} gift, which is one of my favorite casual outfits I've picked up recently :) The top and bloomers are both snowy white and trimmed with ruffles and bows, loose but gathered to create a very flattering outline. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and they are separate pieces. That is especially noteworthy for the next two photos as well ;)

The bloomers helped me share our //Rowers// Top Amaya Fatpack gift, which will pair wonderfully with your favorite pants or skirt too if you prefer. Carol's is offering this gorgeous Lindsay Top Light Blue as their gift for the event, and I'm such a fan of theirs that I couldn't wait to unpack it! This is such a dreamy summer look that makes me very happy to share.

This lovely strapless minidress is our Via Fulo Clara DRESS Rose Gift. It has fur trim at the hem that can be your choice of 16 colors via HUD. One more look of the night, we have a classic LBD (little black dress) from HORL called Yoi Dress. Its halter neck shows off just the right touch of cleavage, while the fluttery skirt is short enough to make our legs look long and lovely. There is sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies provided in this treat. 

My stomach is still fairly unhappy, and no I did not eat any raw veggies recently so it's not that scary bacteria thing that's going around. As much as I enjoy salads, I've been focused on cooked veg lately to protect myself, and soup is a fantastic way to enjoy them. That worked out nicely for a mild meal tonight actually, chicken and pasta (acini de pepe like you'd find in Italian wedding soup) with carrots and celery so it was a simple and nourishing meal. I'm planning on going to pick up my glasses before dinner at my parents' tomorrow, as long as my guts allow me to be in a car that long ;) Otherwise I had a good evening gaming and chatting with friends, a typical Thursday with giggles and sharing cozy games. OUH LALA Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are enjoying another event loaded with free gifts - the OUH LALA event :) I'd never been here before, so it was especially fun to have the opportunity to stop by a new-to-me event and find that they have lots of great sales offers and gifts. They did not need a group tag, so these are yours just for clicking the brightly colored gift boxes at most of the displays.

My first look of the evening is our AnaSTyle - ILARY RED gift. It's got a great layered look of a short sleeve tee with ripped fishnet long sleeves, all in a deep crimson that has me thinking of my birthstone (garnet). There are sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. It falls just above the natural waist, and we can pair it with so many wardrobe staples like skirts, shorts, leggings, pants, etc. For example I've gone with the Delizio jeans in white, from their marketplace freebie fatpack :)

We also can pick up a duo of flirty shirts from BlondeQueen. Their BQ::Shirley Crop Top:: 2 Mixes Colors consists of the pink apple and pink strawberry tops, each in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. They are not only cropped short but have a low dipped neckline to accentuate our cleavage, which will also highlight any necklace we might choose to wear with these. 

Next I get my flirt on with the RAVEN COUTURE - Mela Dress. This thoughtful gift includes dress and string (panties) to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. The image on the front reminds me of a few things at once, since the red balloons are an IT hallmark, but the black and white striped suit whispered Beetlejuice (but just once, not three times) to my brain. The girl wearing it has beautiful platinum waves and glowing blue eyes, with striped branches or tree roots behind her. I'm such a fan of single sleeved looks in SL, and the side slit on the skirt is another playful feature.

I simply couldn't resist the *SO* Chic Summer 2 Dress - Retro Summer gift, so of course I had to share :) The design on the fabric reminds me of an 80s themed sim Xan and I visited once, very Miami Vice with neon colors and steamy hot atmosphere. The formfitting tank dress is provided in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It might be PBR textured because it does seem to be reflecting the lighting in my room.

My final look is certainly PBR, as it is labeled as such :) The B! Fashion - Beso Boho - Scarlet Damask gift is a lovely halter dress with a very classic and timeless pattern, while the style is that of a modern sundress. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. Special note - this gift has a group gift script in it but set to 'none' as the group, so you'll need to have no group tag active at all to claim it. At the top of the list of your groups, "none" is the first option, and that's the one you need :) I know it sounds odd, but I've encountered this randomly before and was glad that there's a workaround. If they do change it to the event's group tag, that is free to join.

I'm not feeling so well right now (stomach) which could be from stress because isn't everything lately? My glasses are ready but I will not be able to get there until Friday before dinner at my parents', so that would be the potential stress if the problem isn't the food I ate earlier. I think the news about contaminated food got me a little paranoid, even if there were no raw fruits or veggies in what I ate. Otherwise the day was quiet and warm, and I can't stop yawning. Frosted Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to visit the Frosted region of SL23B Shop & Hop, one of 16 moderate (and 6 adult) areas in this shopping extravaganza to celebrate Second Life turning 23. We've just a few days left now, until the 19th, to visit all these regions and scoop up hundreds of gifts :) Every designer has discounted offers for us too, so we can save money while checking out old favorite designers or meeting new ones. These rounds always make me happy, and the Golden Age of Hollywood theme has made for some amazing creativity both in the merchandise they sell and the booths they have designed for us to visit.

My first look this evening is our Luova // Mary // Dress // Fatpack gift, with strong Marilyn vibes that I am loving. We receive sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a HUD to tint and color to our heart's content. The default color is shown on the left above, as I tried to tint it white several times but came up with this intriguing gray-green hue. I chose the baby blue button for the right and got a deep almost navy color, very elegant just like our halter style and full tea length skirt.

I switched gears to a casual and cozy look here, thanks to the ALANTORI - Luna Outfit FATPACK gift. The one-piece mesh ensemble is a slightly cropped hoodie, sleek pants, and matching mid-height boots with cute kitten heel. We receive plenty of color versions like the Bucci I'm wearing on the left and Flower on the right (others are black, brown, champagne, olive, pink, purple, and white) that are each packaged individually. They fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies with ease. I appreciate being able to get dressed in a jiffy, as sometimes I am in a hurry to get somewhere fun  and just don't have time to sift through all this inventory ;)

This gorgeous gown is our HizNherz Passion Gown and Heels gift, and you can tell from the name that this store caters to both guys and gals so there is in fact a male gift also. This texture is incredible, with animated shine that spirals its way around us and just looks magical. Our gown comes in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn sizes, with compatible sizing for the heels. That sash wrapped around the hips and draped down the left side is an impressive detail, and I can't wait to wear it somewhere worthy :)

Next I changed into the POISON ROUGE Lala Top Magenta gift, because we always need pretty tops :) The color is dreamy, and I adore halter styles that tie at the nape of the neck like this. Our gift includes sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and I'm wearing it with the white Delizio jeans from their fatpack that is free on the marketplace. It'll go wonderfully with your favorite skirts, pants, or shorts too I'm sure. 

Occasionally I wind up ending my evening topless I guess, LOL, but it is the best way to share T H E  C R O W - GIFT Wings Tattoo BOM you see above. There are dark and soft versions included, and it is a subtle distinction as I am wearing dark on the left and soft to the right. What's your first thought when seeing these wings? I couldn't decide if mine was angel or bird, but other possibilities like butterflies, fairies, and dragons came to mind as well. I really like having the same image on the front and the back like this, as it flows wonderfully with the body's natural lines and curves. 

My day was busy from a gaming standpoint, since Paleo Pines had a huge update with 20 new colors for the dinosaurs among many new or improved features. That's 3 games that I routinely play each day now (not counting SL as a game) and it can get time consuming. Still extremely fun, but sometimes it is hard to find time for everything I want to do. Otherwise I am still waiting for my glasses to be ready to pick up, with a sense of dread because that means I can schedule the consult for the cataract surgeries. Happy Weekend Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got another event to tell you about, the Happy Weekend Anniversary event from ACCESS. That means that you'll want to be a part of the ACCESS group (free to join) and that tag will let you claim gift at many of the booths here at the event. We get to pet (click) the cutest kitties to get our gifts, and they're sitting in pretty cupcakes for that extra dose of sweet :) They are celebrating 7 wonderful years of bringing weekend sales to the grid, and this event round lasts until the 30th of July.

My first look is the lovely Gaia - anna halter neck top & low panty gift. It gives retro swimsuit vibes with a modern twist, so it can be worn as a shorts outfit as well :) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Juicy Rolls, and Waifu mesh bodies, and the pieces can be worn individually or together as shown. The polka dots are a fantastic detail, and I've always been a fan of pink and white as a combo. 

I am also having lots of fun with our Alice Dress - FATPACK gift from Black Flowers. The neckline is cut daringly low, and the fabric just looks so soft and flowing :) We receive Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that lets us pick from 12 colors each for top, skirt, and belt. Choosing the same color for all gives a sense of elegance, and I think I was feeling a bit more playful by mixing things up. 

Next I combined two generous gifts for one look, and I think it turned out really nicely :) The CATARSIS - POGO Corset - BLK is the irresistible top I chose, with lacing in the front and a small zipper in the back. It comes in sizing for Kupra Squeezed, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. The style would look right at home over your favorite jeans or a sassy skirt too, just depends on your personal style. I'm wearing it with the Galagher - Mona Edition 5 pants, a gift which I think of as 'convertible' since it can be worn as shown or with just the upper portion above the knees. The chains are attached to the lower piece which is labeled "remove this", with both pieces designed to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies. The fabric is so eye-catching with its newspaper print, although I just had an "oh no, I'm so old" moment by realizing that soon the younger generations won't even know what that is. Well you see, kids, we used to chop down trees and mash them up to make paper, and that's how we got our news in the morning...no, no computers or phones...LOL. 

Not only do we get to see the shorter version of those pants here, but I've paired them with another gift :) That would be our TRASH. Drycell Turtleneck (Femm) - Delulu Gift, with tiny rainbow writing on the front that says "Hot Girls are Delulu". There are sizes for Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu bodies included, as well as a HUD with 3 states of distress. The one on the left is the longest and least shredded, while you can almost tell that the one on the right above has the front lifted high enough to bare our breasts and raise the back a bit too. 

One final peek for the evening, this is the EUTHA - Lilith Lingerie BLACK gift. Isn't she sexy? The bralette and panties are separates that will fit Lara X, Legacy, Pushup, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs bodies. I'm not certain if the main material is meant to be leather or latex, but that and the lace trim got me humming "Leather and Lace" by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley :) My brain just does that, lol, as it's overly full of 80s lyrics and song titles. More SL23B Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another mini tour of a region from SL23B Shop & Hop, the 23rd birthday of Second Life and its shopping areas. All of these free gifts are from the Buttercup region which is one of the 6 Adult areas, so please keep that in mind as you may see some mature themed items for sale. I mention it not as a judgment call but as a heads-up to anyone who either is not set up in SL to visit adult regions or simply prefers to avoid that type of content. It's an integral part of SL for many people to have the ability to explore things that are not as simple in RL, and that does include some mature topics. That said, these gifts are not particularly naughty, and I'm even wearing the nipple covers included with my skin so they stay safely covered :) Remember, an excellent way to keep track of all the SL23B gifts is with the FabFree spreadsheet that you can sort by type, region, and more by the tabs on the bottom left.

My first look of the evening does have me thinking about the Golden Age of Hollywood theme for SL23B, which I am absolutely enjoying. This is our EF - Emilija Dress - Gold gift from Effervescence, and it looks gorgeous in either traditional (shown) or PBR textures. Each of these is provided in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I was having trouble with the PBR on the lace sides with my lighting, and I don't know if my rented skybox has reflection probes that would help with that so I just stuck to the traditional texturing :) 

This is where my skin's nipple covers really came in handy, LOL, as the [C.YFashion]*NAYA*Set Gift has a sheer lace tube top that will show that darker color fairly easily. This lingerie is actually all one piece, and will fit Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 6 colors each for the top and thong bottom, so we can get playful with the mixing and matching.

I noticed a lot of tattoos among the adult regions' gifts, maybe because that allows them to show images of the body art without blurring any of the body? The DO INK TATTOO ENTRELACS FLORALS is a beautiful design of flowers and vines down both front and back of each leg, with several BOM layers to choose from. We've got fade, fresh (shown) and medium opacities, with the left leg, the right leg, or both legs as I'm wearing above. I usually go with the darkest option for photographs to make them more visible, but usually choose a medium one for routine wear :)

Next I swapped to the Echo & Aura - In The Stars BOM Tattoo which is one of 2 gifts I picked up at their display. We've still got a flower in the center here, with lots of stars and ribbons. I love the touches of blue! We receive upper and lower layers, in faded and fresh versions. If you look closely you can tell that some of the upper tattoo is hiding beneath the clothing, trailing up that right ribcage to the front of the underarm area. All of our artwork appears on the right side of the body, so you can mix it with other tattoos on the left side if you wish.

My final look of the night is this brand's other generous gift, the Echo & Aura - Art Deco Nails - Stiletto. We know that I'm a huge fan of nail art, so it isn't surprising that I couldn't wait to show this off :) These fantastic mesh nails are designed for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh hands, and all you need to do is hide the body's built in nails and add these to your outfit. The gold striping creates a lovely Art Deco look that really suits the theme of the event, but also just looks incredible with just about any outfit.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was warm and busy but decent :) The farmers market was nice, even if there weren't many vendors, and the nap afterwards was so good. Is that how tell you're getting old, when you enjoy napping so much? LOL! I've got lots to consider after my therapy session this evening, but that isn't a bad thing by any means.
