More Blackstone Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two of the Blackstone group gifts I showed you some of yesterday, as there are over 50 gifts waiting for us there. The group is currently $25L to join, and it's a great time to join while they celebrate the brand's 7th birthday :) There are lucky boards for the group members on the left when you first land, and the group gifts from tonight (and last post) are behind the staircase (not up!) ahead and to the right. There are 7 boxes (new bonus box among them for the anniversary) that each contain lots of gifts, so be sure to click them all. I am not certain how long the group's fee will be this low, or how long the 10 bonus gifts from the celebration, so I do hope you are able to hurry there!

We start off with the gorgeous Blackstone - Claire Set - Fatpack. This gift includes the corset top and miniskirt, each in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The HUD offers 15 colors apiece for the top and skirt, as well as 4 metal tones. My favorite detail is the lace accents appearing on both pieces, the center insets of the corset and the short ruffled layer on the fluttery skirt.

Our Blackstone - Delilah Dress - Salmon is just the thing to help fan the flames of desire. The fiery shape of the cutouts is an intricate work of art, both back and front of this flirty frock. We receive Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes of this beauty. The salmon color is a really attractive choice by the way, with a slight shimmer that also caught my eye. The name made two different songs pop into my head, although I'm not as familiar with the Tom Jones song as I am with Hey There Delilah somehow. Then the color and dress name made me think Samson and Delilah, so my brain was pulling all sorts of associations out of this one!

Maybe you prefer your dresses to have belts attached and with several colors to choose from? If so I'd love to suggest the Blackstone - Victoria Dress - Fatpack group gift for your next night out :) It has a carefully peaked and plunging neckline that goes down to the belt, and the diagonal hem is a fantastic touch. In sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, it will look great in your choice of 15 colors with 4 metals via HUD. I seem to have been craving bright primary colors when playing with my HUD here ;) 

It intrigues me when lace is used in combination with other materials to be edgy rather than sweetly feminine. It's an underrated versatile fabric for sure! The Blackstone - Kareen Dress - Cherry has broad scoops of lace on each hip, and the leather is trimmed with chains and studs that will absolutely turn heads. Our gift includes Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn sizes, along with a HUD for us to select from 6 metals for those chains and studs I mentioned. This dress makes me want to hit up a club that plays rock music all day and night, preferably from last century ;) 

My final look of the evening is our Blackstone - Francis Set - Fatpack group gift, which I think will be very weather-appropriate very soon :) The crop top and pants each fit Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. We also receive a HUD with 15 colors each for top and pants, plus 4 crop metals and 4 pants metals. The top has an interesting style, being sleeveless and layered with a tube top beneath a tiny hoodie. The pants have a very classic jeans style with front pockets but smooth rear, formfitting like skinny jeans. I'll probably wear these pieces individually on occasion too, particularly since there are separate tops among the group gifts.

This weekend felt oddly long, yet I am still surprised it's over already. I think my Saturdays being broken up by a few hours sleep then going out, then coming home and sleeping in the late afternoon for a few more hours is to blame because Saturday feels like two separate days that way. The farmers market was fun though, and the Boston terrier I usually see there was pouting because his favorite treat-giver was absent (on a cruise) so he didn't want to leave. He'd gotten treats but not from her, lol, so he was sitting down in protest as his human begged him to cooperate. I missed her too, but look forward to seeing her next week to hear all about her vacation. Tomorrow evening is a support group meeting, so I'm mentally preparing to try to be helpful without triggering anyone by discussing the dentist. Lots of us have phobias about that one. Blackstone Birthday

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Blackstone for some gifts connected to their birthday celebration. The group is currently $25L to join, and there are 5 lucky boards for the group immediately to the left when you land. As for the group gifts I'm featuring tonight, please walk towards the stairs on the right but not up them; continue past and you'll see a Group Gifts sign with 6 clickable boxes on the shelves on either side of the sign. Each of these contains several treats, as there is a total of over 50 waiting for us! That's absolutely worth the price of admission, right? :) It's always a delight to share in the joy that designers experience when they reach a milestone with their brand, and I wish them many more years of success bringing amazing fashions to SL.

We start with the lovely Blackstone - Juliet Dress - Burgundy group gift. The color really caught my eye for the weekend in particular, and the strapless style with plunging lace-edged neckline is sizzling hot. The zipper up the back is a fun detail, and can be adjusted with the HUD that offers 4 metal tones for it. We receive the dress in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

I'm feeling fancy yet flirty here in our gift called Blackstone - Fiorella Set - Petrol. The deep teal hue is very flattering with most hair colors and skin tones, and it's still warm enough to enjoy shorts :) Those shorts along with the blazer and lace bra top are all included in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu sizes. I can also picture pairing the blazer and shorts with a BOM top of some sort, probably a neutral like black or white, if you just felt the urge for variety.

You didn't think I would miss out on an opportunity to wear something pink, did you? :) This beauty is our Blackstone - Onyx Dress - Blush group gift, and it's funny that I was talking about the stone onyx just a couple of hours before taking this photo, so that also felt like this was meant to be shared right now. There are Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn sizes included, all with that great combo of satin and lace. The lace is fairly sheer, so I'd recommend adding your favorite panties and pasties in a pale color if needed for modesty. Otherwise you just might find yourself blushing like the color name ;)

I'm always happy to be able to adjust colors on my SL fashions, so the Blackstone - Serena Dress - Gift is just my style. The dress is a sexy little number of lace and satin, in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. It also includes a HUD with 5 colors each for the dress and lace, 10 for the gemstones, and 4 metals, so we can customize this in all sorts of fabulous ways. I'm always fascinated by how detailed SL lace can be, and it suits this dress quite nicely.

My final look of the night is a great choice if you're done with the heat of summer and just want to represent autumn with your wardrobe. Our Blackstone - Kasey Suspender Jumpsuit - Malibu group gift consists of the crop top and suspender jumpsuit, each in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a handy HUD. The HUD has 16 color choices for the crop top, and 4 metals for those shiny details like zippers and suspender clasps. Side note, wearing a physics layer with a crop top can make photography a slower process, waiting for everything to stop jiggling long enough for a photo and not look like they're going to bounce loose ;) I had lag happening too, not the best timing.

My dental visit went just how I feared unfortunately, as I had a little issue I didn't mention to anyone ahead of time. An old gumline filling had developed a sharp edge, so I was hoping that they could smooth it out but knew deep down that they'd have to redo the filling in the near future. That near future is this coming Wednesday, LOL, and they did say that there was a hint of a cavity (whitish halo effect) around it, probably because food was getting stuck no matter how hard I brushed. It's fine, I'm not thrilled but I know I am in good hands there and will muddle through the anxiety. Meanwhile my dad had an angiogram earlier in the day to check his heart and arteries for blockages. They went in through his wrist, and didn't find any full blockages but a long area of plaque that is too large for a stent. He's taking medication for a few weeks, then following up with the cardiologist to see if it is working. We had dinner together tonight and he was dine, no pain or discomfort at all, just some bruising because he is on blood thinners. He just rolls with these things and handles them like a champ, like I am genuinely in awe of how calm and stoic he is about the health issues he has had. I aspire to be that easygoing about, well, anything LOL. I'm definitely going to have a part two (and probably more) of these Blackstone group goodies, and September will be here soon with all sorts of new adventures in SL. Light of a Clear Blue Morning

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for some Blue SL event group gifts, which means it's also time for me to find a song title with "blue" in it for my post title. It's a habit I started and can't seem to break, LOL, but it also shows how much I continue to enjoy this particular event :) Each round is open from the 18th of one month to the 8th of the following one, so you've got almost 2 weeks left to stop by, join the free group, and claim all these generous gifts and more. There are $50L exclusives for sale each round, and the gifts do change so there's always something new for us to check out. My title honors the one and only Dolly Parton, whose kindness and talent will never be forgotten. It's a beauty of a song that she performed with several other artists including her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, so be sure to check that out if you are curious. I am comforted that she is at peace with her beloved husband now, but my eyes are still leaking a bit tonight. 

My first look of the evening is the special VIP gift when you enter the building and turn right. Inti is offering their white top, cream top, and cream shorts all in sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies, as well as the deep red shoes I'm wearing here that fit Kupra, Lara X, and Legacy bodies. The ability to mix and match various separates is always a plus in my mind, and the clothing being neutral hues means they'll worth with just about anything in your inventory. 

Upstairs at their display, you can also claim the Inti Cloe black dress by clicking the box and choosing your size. The menu offers Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn sizes, and if you need more than one please click again and repeat. The sheer sections and strong boning make this a real head-turner of a look, don't you think? There is a bit of bum cleavage peeking through in that rear view.

We can also feel flirtatious with the KS Designs Pink & Black Bombshell Bra and Ruffle Bottom gift, which is just $1L. The two pieces are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. I did notice when I accidentally added the wrong one (LOL) that they are not all the same color, but I'm very happy with this pretty outfit trimmed with lace and bows in any hue :)

Next we can always count on Allure Couture for a fantastic gift, like this round's Paige Bikini-Skirt Set Lillies Pink. It consists of the bikini top, bikini bottom, shrug, and skirt, all in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. The bikini is solid pink, while the skirt and sleeves of the shrug have a lovely floral pattern that made me smile. It is nice to have the sarong style skirt to cover up the thong where appropriate, and of course to add the touch of flowers.

My final look of the night is the stunning @rOrO Cotton Candy Shanti Bodysuit gift. Honestly I have an entire collection of their gifts from various events and groups in teal and pink like this, and I LOVE them all! This treat includes sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The ombre or gradient of colors makes this a sassy and playful choice for day or night, and I'm sure to reach for it quite often.

It was a heck of a day, still processing the loss of Dolly Parton to find out that we also lost Tim Curry. Those are two irreplaceable and special humans who have made such an impact on this world! Part of me wants to hide in fear of the saying "things happen in threes" and worry about who's next. The rest of me wants to hide because I am now 14 hours away from my dental visit, and my anxiety is having a field day with it. Due to nitrous hangover, lol, I won't be blogging tomorrow evening, but I am trying to remind myself that this is just a cleaning and not a big deal. *deep breaths* There are still many days where the prospect of leaving the house is a big deal though, so I don't mean to dismiss that aspect.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I'll share a secret with you, which is where I've been hanging out lately :) That would be AMUI, because they have 5 lucky chairs that are jam packed with treats to win, and no group tag is needed to win. Luck was certainly on my side when .:AMUI:. "Glitter" Dress - 05 appeared on a chair with my initial on it :) It's one of my favorite colors, with the added appeal of a stunning sparkly texture. This beauty will fit Freya, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. I also love the satiny ribbons that connect our halter top and skirt sections, tied with a fluttery bow that dangles down the back of the skirt almost to its hem.

The .:AMUI:. "Toscana" Outfit is just what we need for when the summer weather changes to subtly cooler temps and a soft breeze. Its sleeveless buttoned blouse and belted capri pants are each included in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD lets us choose from 10 textures each for top and pants, which are a nice mix of solids and patterns for both sets of choices. Instant favorite!

"Cherissa" Dress & Wedges - 05, and the color reminds me of a pear but also of autumn since some of the trees near me do have leaves that change to a similar color. The dress comes in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizes, with the matching wedges in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. Those chunky heels really caught my eye, but of course the style of the minidress with a halter neckline did too :) If this color isn't your thing, be sure to hang around for a while and try to win some of the other colors too. 

Whew, my day did not turn out to be a particularly smooth one so I am trying to unwind and cheer up. I'll be okay, just cranky from someone telling me one thing and then doing the complete opposite (to my detriment of course). The Warehouse Sale

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post celebrates the 6th birthday of The Warehouse Sale event. This long running sales event is post-apocalyptic themed, which is a suggestion to the designers rather than a requirement. They each offer at least one item at a 10% - 50% discount, and many of them are also offering a gift for the event's group (free to join) in crates between the booths. Some have a picture of the gift on the crate, while many others are going to be a complete surprise when we open the folder :) There were so many delightful accessories among these gifts that you can really get creative with new looks.

I'm starting things out on the sexy side, thanks to our [Glitzz] Zaide Lingerie - Blush gift. It consists of the top, panties, and garter (waist) each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included with 3 metals for the little clasps on the panties. Please note that I am wearing nipple covers that came with my skin, so the sheer bra will probably reveal your nipples if you aren't wearing something similar. I do enjoy the strapless style of the bra (so uncomfy in RL, so pretty in SL!) and the G-string panties are also much easier to wear in SL.

Next I changed into [The Forge] Cammy. Black, a stunning gift of strapless bra and shrug jacket. Surely I can't be the only one who loves when long sleeves extend to wrap around our palms and loop over the thumb? :) Both pieces come in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu sizes. I've got a bazillion strapless or sleeveless tops that I'd love to wear this shrug with, at least once the cooler weather rolls in. 

Please excuse me for turning my back to you, but it's really the only way to show off my new tattoo ;) This beauty is also a group gift here, the A.D.D.Andel! Saturn Zodiac Back Tattoo, provided in a simple BOM layer. I recognized Saturn because of the ring, and I do know some but not all of the zodiac symbols offhand...that is actually okay though since they are all labeled :) The tattoo is a very nice opacity level that looks realistic yet still photographed very well. 

I am still laughing because before I unpacked our .:Fio's - Lana Ice Cream - fatpack:. gift I was expecting a cone or cones to hold in either hand. Then I saw body sizes and was intrigued! This gift actually includes the handheld cones for left or right, and the worn ice cream in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn bodies. The HUD for the handheld cone offers 9 ice cream flavors and 3 colors for the cone, just click the outline on the HUD for the part you wish to tint. There is a similar HUD for the worn ice cream, which you can also access the various parts by clicking the different sections. It has 9 ice cream flavors, 5 colors for the cookie center, and 6 for the sprinkles. Be prepared for people to want to line up to help you clean up this mess ;)

Our 41m / Sheer Halter Top / Cow Gift has 2 versions, solid and sheer, both in BOM layers that work with any compatible body. I'm wearing the solid on the left and sheer on the right, by the way :) I couldn't resist showing off a new little friend, the {Sakura} Snufflebum Keychain gift. This little sweetie comes in left and right hand held versions, and includes a HUD with 8 colorways for the plush, 7 for the keyring, and 6 metals to customize their appearance. The name is as adorable as the plushie, and I am really grateful for a new furry friend to hang onto. 

I'm just having one of those odd days, so please excuse any strange typos or grammar weirdness in my post :) My friends and I are all having a busy week so we weren't able to reschedule our Thursday game night (my fault, dentist) to any other day of the week. Inside Your Inventory Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I zipped all around SL to some wonderful stores, looking for gifts to share for the Inside Your Inventory group. It's just $10L to join, and lots of great designers taking part by sending notices about their newest releases and sales. Of course they also have the option to offer a group gift in their store for us members, and I am grateful for that as well :) I never know what amazing gifts I'll find, so this type of post is always an adventure with fantastic rewards.

This gorgeous outfit is the Bens Beauty - Persea Skirt & Top group gift for Inside Your Inventory. They have a wall full of treats for various groups with white hovertext indicating which group, so you might see other familiar names too :) Our top and skirt both fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The gift also includes a HUD with 10 solid colors for the skirt, and the same 10 solids plus 7 patterns for the top. We can have a fun time experimenting with those buttons, and I especially like the bare shouldered style of the top. 

BlondeQueen is offering a cleverly crafted pair of dresses in one great gift called BQ::Karissa Mini Dress w/Scarf:: White & Black. The built in scarf really stands out both literally and figuratively, with one side draped around the right arm and the other flowing out and behind us like we're in a breeze. The black and white versions are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I love the patterns on each being similar yet distinct, and the monochromatic look is simply marvelous. Some days I want to wear all the colors, others I might be craving one (like today I must wear pink, tomorrow I need bright green) but yet other times it's so fun to go classic black and white.

For my final look of the evening, I stopped by HORL and found the lovely Cammy Dress as our current group gift. The snowy white fabric has a subtle knit texture, and the dress is gathered on the left with strings that tie on the left thigh to raise it ever so slightly. There are sizes included for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We can get quite creative with accessorizing this one, either adding tons of colors or keeping things neutral. It just depends on your mood and your personal style :)

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was a mixed bag really, but I am trying to go into the week ahead with a positive mindset. The farmers market was quiet but the weather was good, and my favorite dog was there being his usual adorable self :) Therapy was intense, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing...sometimes I have to face hard truths and it feels good to get things off my chest. I'm trying not to get too worked up about Thursday's dentist visit, at least not yet? LOL! Cremosas Sequel

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two from last night, the daily calendar of group gifts from Cremosas store. These are all for their free group, and each date's gift actually consists of 2 (older from a prior round and brand new) so there are lots of generous goodies waiting for us :) I've always been so grateful for their kindness in helping people look chic on a budget, particularly useful when RL isn't getting any more affordable these days. So I enjoy being able to share these gifts and invite you to do some shopping here as well to support the designer :)

My first look of the evening is our Cremosas - A 2 gift. This sporty treat includes the top and shorts each in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There are fun white stripes down the sides of each, and I must admit that the short shorts do give us a cheeky rear view ;)

I've never seen a swimsuit quite like the Cremosas - A 10 gift, and I must say I am absolutely a fan! The triangular openings on the top remind me of a bowtie or an hourglass, and the silky fabric texture is always a plus. This treat includes Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, which is fairly standard for these current gifts.

The weekend is here, and if you need a flirty going-out dress, I suggest the Cremosas - A 14 gift. Day 14's dress has a single long sleeve and a playful skirt that is tied on one side and held together with three straps on the other hip. We receive sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, so this fits lots of popular brands and even accommodates the extra bosomy Bombshell. 

Cremosas - A 19 is a flirtatious pairing of strapless top and ruffled skirt with built in panties. For my final look of the night, I am really cranking up the sex appeal with our Cremosas - A 15 gift! This slip of a dress has a dramatic opening showing cleavage and navel, while the sides of the skirt are also notched for flashes of both hips. Whew, I am ready for a busy weekend but I'm also going to try to get some extra rest if I can. The weather will be cloudy but a comfy temperature for the farmers market tomorrow, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we don't lose power again like we did yesterday and today. It's getting frustrating for sure. Therapy on Sunday should be interesting, lol, as I'm probably going to wind up venting quite a bit.
