SL Mesh Body Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is filled with generous gifts for the SL Mesh Body group, which has a small $9L price to join. There are lots of participating brands all across the grid, and I'm always excited to explore them and find out which ones are offering gifts for the group :) I've been a member of the group for ages, so that tiny fee to join has more than paid for itself dozens of times over. Hopefully you can find a new favorite store or discover a new gift at an old favorite haunt.

We start at TOG STORE in their new location, where the Licks Set is one of several gifts under the stairs. This flirty strapless mini has a fluttery layered skirt that is even shorter from behind, so fun! We receive sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a HUD that offers a whopping 50 colors for us to choose from. Sometimes that's a really tough decision, because they all look fantastic!

If you're not in the mood for drama (same!) then you definitely need the [Enchantress] Tessa Dress Gift. It's a clear message for those girls who want to flirt with your man, or the so-called friend who talks crap behind your back. Let's show off some leg with the T.B.O.M. Asymmetric Mini Dress group gift! This style made my brain go from salsa to dirty dancing, lol, with plenty of sex appeal either way. My final look tonight comes from *Stars*Fashion*, their versatile Angee outfit. Its dress, dress + top, and boots are all designed to fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Perky Juicy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and we've got two HUDS to take care of it all. They offer the same 15 colors for dress, top, and boots, but one is for the Legacy sizes and the other for non-Legacy versions. I don't know enough about scripting to have any idea why that would be, but it's not an issue since it's all clearly labeled and worked fine for me. 

I'm a bit sleepy this evening since I got a lot less sleep than planned (thanks, Pokopia, LOL) but the anxiety/agoraphobia support group session went really well and there were some interesting suggestions made. Sometimes acting as someone's cheerleader, telling them "you've got this!" when they're facing something scary, is helpful for all of us to hear and take to heart. I was going to go out tomorrow but the plans got shifted to Wednesday somehow, so I'll be blogging tomorrow evening after all :) It's getting so warm in here, these fluctuating temperatures sure are a struggle lately. Easter Hunt at KZ and NN

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to start some Easter hunting, thanks to KZ and NN Lab. These stores are neighbors and both their groups are currently free to join, so all 8 prizes are free when you find the hidden eggs. There are 5 in the KZ store and 3 at NN, and you'll need the corresponding group tags active to click and claim each treat. The eggs are so cute, very small with a white chick seated in the lower half of the white eggs. My suggestions are to look high and low, upstairs and down, and check behind signs that are on the ground :) 

For my first look, I've slipped into the flirty KZ Dress Wyvern Red prize. It fits Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Squish, and Waifu mesh bodies, and includes two HUDs to customize the appearance. The main HUD offers 21 colors apiece for various ruffles (even offering 21 sheer colors with hearts for shoulders/hem) and the accessories HUD has on/off options for arms, garters, and belt, plus 5 metal tones each for different areas. So many ways to personalize how you want to wear it!

Our KZ Bikini Poppy rose leather hunt prize is absolutely bringing sexy back, not that it was necessarily gone ;) That is one of my favorite shades of pink by hte way, looking fantastic in tiny quantities. The bra comes in Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, Squashed, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with the similar set for the panty including Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, Phatpussy, and Squashed sizing. The enclosed HUD has 5 metal colors for the delicate charms that dangle from the bra, which look like they would softly tinkle when we dance :)

Next I slipped into the KZ Dress Billie Xoxo prize, which has a sheer plastic skirt and fun adjustable trim. The edging on the shoulder openings and hem glows, as you can see on the right, and we've got a HUD to adjust that to off, 10, 30, 50, or 80% brightness. The dress itself will fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Waifu mesh bodies, with G-string panties that fit all of the above plus Phatpussy. Did you notice the teeny white XO pattern on the red top of the dress?

I took advantage of the translucent skirt of the prior prize to help me show off our KZ Tights Diana Rose-grey here. They are provided in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn + Rolls, and Reborn + Rolls + Phatpussy SM sizes, as well as two HUDs. The on/off HUD is for the feet, so you can turn them off to make it more like leggings as I did on the right. Then our Blink HUD adjusts the tiny sparkles that are built in, either white or colors and on/off for that feature. The waistband is quite low in the back, so that's why you only got a side view here ;)

My last look this evening is where I learned how hard it can be to take pictures of a sword from two angles without making a really wide image, LOL! This is the [NN] The Katana prize, which consists of the belt rigged for Reborn and the separate katana sword that fits into the sheath on the back. Both of these have PBR textures, so you'll need a compatible viewer to see them correctly. NN Lab seems to focus on tattoos and mesh accessories, so you can really jazz up your avatar's look nicely here for roleplay or everyday entertainment. 

My weekend was a decent one, starting with a very windy trip to the farmers market. They couldn't use their tents again (similar to 2 weeks ago) so just tables and lots of caution. I wore a heavy coat with a hood, so that helped my hair from trying to tangle all around my face this time. I really do need to get my hair cut soon, but that's just one of many things on a growing to-do list. I'm still enjoying Pokopia a bit too much, lol, but there are worse addictions out there. Heck, SL can be considered one too :) I'm ready for April to hurry up and get here, so I can enjoy new rounds of hunts and events. KiB Designs Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a sweet deal for you to check out, and it won't cost you any lindens or a group slot. KiB Designs is celebrating their 10th anniversary with 10 gifts, 5 for their VIP group ($99L to join) and 5 for their subscribers that you can pick up on the path outside their store. Guess which I'm sharing? :) Based on what I said about not needing a group, I think it's clear that I am showing you the 5 treats for their subscribers, which I've been one of for quite some time. They haven't stated a timeframe yet so I have no idea if I should be telling you to hurry or not, but I am leaning towards 'yes'. Plaids are an essential classic and these particular colors are right up my alley :) That ruffle on the neckline is giving such playful retro vibes, love it! Dove's Dreamy Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's back to the enchanting Doves Dream event for more generous group gifts. They are free with the Doves Angel tag from the Palomma Plaza group, which is also free to join. There are so many top designers here, offering gifts and specially priced sales items for us to enjoy. As I've mentioned, it is a celebration of the life and RL birthday of Palomma Casanova, a.k.a. Dove, who ran The Free Dove on this very same region. She meant so much to the SL community, and her friendship was truly a blessing to me. We have about 2 weeks left to visit, so come on over and explore :)

The first gift I selected to share is our Nut & Squirrel Flavia dress, a figure-hugging long sleeved mini dress with built in gold chain belt. There are Erika, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima, Prima Petite, Reborn, and Waifu sizes included, as well as a HUD that lets us pick from 20 pretty colors. We get a touch of elegance from the sheer sleeves and upper bodice, while the puckered seam on the back adds a touch of flirtatiousness.

Our Lara AC Dress Zara Gift consists of several colors that are each packaged separately, mostly with no-copy permissions so please unpack these manually (rez out on the ground, right click - copy to inventory). I'm wearing red on the left and brown on the right, plus you'll also find lilac, black, blue, and green versions inside. Each of these are provided in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The single shoulder style is such a fun one, isn't it? I also like the attached belt and the little notches on the front of our skirt.

Another thoughtful gift with a sheer section is the Melody Ayana// Fatpack. Its lovely long sleeves end in a soft ruffle, and the bodice is transparent with a few seams that could contain boning to hold the dress in place. Our gift includes Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD that has 30 colors each of solid and animal patterns. The hem is particularly short, barely longer than the sleeves, so naturally I suggest adding your favorite undies.

Next we see the lovely Ydea Style Exclusive Gift, which has the name of the event right on the dress :) The gift consists of the dress and the golden garter you see here, each in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The sides are open, held with crossed pink straps, and the soft pink and white colors add to the ethereal feeling. 

Just one more look for the night, which also has an ethereal quality that suits the 'dream' part of the event name. Our fuayu Angelo gift (Maitreya LaraX) is a beautiful gown with square neckline trimmed in lace, falling softly to the floor in gentle pleats. The teal blue color seems to glow, doesn't it? As the name indicates, the gift comes in a single mesh size that is rigged for the Lara X body, but since it is loose fitting I believe it could work with other brands and perhaps some alpha adjustments.

Have I mentioned lately that Pokopia is ridiculously addictive? LOL! Tonight's gaming evening with friends has it on my mind, and we absolutely had a great time so I am in a very good mood :) The temperature has gone up considerably so it's pretty warm in here, 76.5 right now in this room. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several group gifts from Le'La, for their VIP group which is $100L to join. That group lets you claim dozens of gifts for free, as well as access to their lucky chairs, lucky boards, and midnight mania boards in the same building as the group gifts. That's right, it's an entire building just for treats! I've shared many of their gifts for other groups over the years too, so you probably already have a good idea of their quality and generosity. I wouldn't be posting this if I didn't truly believe it was a good investment, and this is not a sponsored post in any way :) Also noteworthy is that they have had an Advent calendar for several years each December, so it would be beneficial to stick around in the group for that season which currently feels soooo far away but time does fly lately. We've also got a HUD tucked in there of course, with 40 choices that include several ombres or gradients. I think it's got a bit of an sci-fi vibe, which I can't explain but that is what popped into my head. 

{Le'La} Ney Dress Gift is a sweet, fluttery mini dress with spaghetti traps and a floral print skirt beneath a solid split overlay. It fits Erika, Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 10 pastel shades. I am fond of those softer shades for springtime moods, but the black background of the patterned section is a nice touch to keep it from feeling overly girlie.

Next I changed into the charming {Le'La} Ralu Dress Gift. It caught my eye with those wide straps that are topped with a bow on each shoulder, and then I noticed the belt and ruffles being able to be customized with the HUD. That HUD offers 40 textures apiece for the dress, ruffle, belt, and border, 20 of which are solids and 20 patterns. We could do the entire dress one solid hue, or go wild and mix things up in dozens of ways :) The dress comes in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. It makes things so versatile that any one of these dresses with a HUD are alone worth the price of admission.

One final look of the evening, that would be our {Le'La} Abaily Set Gift. The tube top, puffed sleeves, and softly pleated skirt are each provided in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The HUD offers 20 colors each for the top, sleeves, sleeves border, skirt, and skirt border. I will note that this morning I was unable to change the sleeves or their border, but all the other options worked. It could be an SL glitch, but worth noting just in case you have the same experience. I don't mention these things to badmouth anyone or complain, I promise :) Just think of how much scripting and coding goes into every single thing we do in SL, so I don't get bent out of shape if something decides not to work correctly one day; perfection is simply not possible.

Whew, the DMV was fun...it actually wasn't that bad, just very time consuming. I was there for about 45 minutes, and got my ID renewed without any trouble. Sitting and waiting was a little anxiety inducing, but I sat quietly and read a Reader's Digest that I brought because I enjoy the small stories and cute jokes. I don't have to pay full attention to the book, so I'm still aware of my surroundings and what number is being called. I hate the picture of course, because that's fairly typical with those ;) It was the third of 4 stops yesterday, so I really didn't have time for blogging even if I'd had the headspace. Song Sung Blue

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some Blue SL event gifts to share, which can be yours with their free group tag when you visit. Visiting each month is such a pleasure, with exclusive offers, special $50L discounted items, and of course the gifts I mentioned :) Somehow I got into the habit of using "blue" song titles for my blog post titles, and this month's has the bonus of being named for a movie named for a song. Eventually I'll run out of songs I know and either reuse some or branch out to ones that are new to me I guess.

We start with the gorgeous Stacey Jumpsuit Set Pink gift from Allure Couture. Our jumpsuit, heels, and stars effect (a layer of tiny sparkles) are each provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes via unpacker HUD. There's something about lace that can be classic, elegant, sexy, or feminine, and the strapless bodice of this jumpsuit seems to be all of the above. Those leg openings really ramp up the sex appeal as well :)

@rOrO has a wonderful treat for us too, their Pink & Teal Flutterby Top & Shorts set. Both colors of the top and shorts are provided, each in sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. The tops have pretty white ruffles on the shoulders and a butterfly cutout on the right shoulder blade, while the shorts have studs on the front of the waistband, matching butterfly cutout on the front, and "flutterby" in pretty script across the bum. I mixed them but they look terrific with the matching colors together too, whatever makes you happy :) There are lots of warm days ahead so this set will be very handy.

I kept the pink shorts on but swapped tops for the Intisl Bacardi top blue gift I also found at the event. It comes in Kupra, Lara X, and Legacy mesh body sizes, with long sleeves and fun crossed straps above the cropped hem that shows a bit of underboob. I had a tricky time trying to claim this one, as clicking it brought up a menu to buy for $0L but nothing happened. So I right clicked - more - buy in the pie chart thing (yep, I am technically challenged with terms LOL) and that worked :) The color is very pretty, and goes with the shorts surprisingly well. 

I must admit that one of my first thoughts when arriving was hoping that The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. had some goodies for us, and obviously my wish came true! Their gift this round is called C'EST CHIC Tee, and these sleek tank tops are indeed effortlessly stylish. The amber eye above the wording has some bold spiky lashes, and it's peeking to my left (photo right) so maybe it's keeping an eye out for curious neighbors. There are standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing included on the unpacker HUD.

My final look of the evening is their event exclusive, The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. PRETTY BALLERINA Tee. For $150L you receive all the sizes I mentioned for the prior tee, plus this one includes a HUD with 3 textures of beautiful ballerinas. When I was growing up it seemed almost every girl either wanted to be a ballerina or just loved watching them in action, and as I got older I started to understand the impressive dedication and athleticism required to succeed in the field. The shirt is quite a tribute to them!

I am struggling a bit tonight with anxiety about tomorrow's trip to the DMV, but my state ID expired almost 3 years ago and I really do need to get this picture taken so I have valid identification for those rare occasions that I do leave the house ;) Even if I'm "only" there for an hour, anxiety makes each moment feel like an hour in itself, and if you've ever felt trapped when in a crowded building, you already have an idea of how rough it can be for me too. My plan is to try to be well rested and bring a book, with my phone and earbuds in case I need to listen to something soothing. The app I like has videos with guides and affirmations, so I might have that in my ear while I sit there :) No blog post tomorrow, but I'll gladly be back Wednesday evening. Delightful Doves Dream

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back at the Doves Dream event, in the same region as Palomma Plaza which is noteworthy because that is the group tag you'll need to claim all the free gifts featured here. That's right, in addition to all the wonderful sales offers we can claim lots of generous gifts for the Palomma Plaza group with your "Doves Angel" tag active :) The event opened on Dove's heavenly birthday of March 11th, and continues until the 11th of April so you've got time to grab some demos, claim your gifts, and finalize your purchases. I've got my eye on at least three items to buy before then, lol, but I had to pay rent first of course. I love treating myself to something special in Dove's memory, and sharing these thoughtful gifts is a fun way for me to honor her.

My first look of the evening is the charming La Feminique Crystal gift. Isn't this perfect for spring? The short sleeved crop top and miniskirt are each provided in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Peach mesh bodies. The top has a keyhole opening whose trim converts to straps that wind around the midriff to tie in the back, what a fun detail! 

Maybe it's because I am a child of the 70s or it's just a love of bright colors, but I have always been drawn to tie dye like this stunning ~Sassy!~ Lenore tie-dyed dress. Our gift includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a rainbow of colors and blue trim that matches the sheer ruffle on the neckline. We could pair this with just about any hue of jewelry or footwear, so it's quite versatile in addition to being so eye-catching.

A little something just right for warmer weather (which just arrived here in RL with a vengeance) can be found in the Suna Designs giftbox. Their S-Bebina purple bodysuit has buttons in the front but only one is in use, so we get a fun flash of navel :) The butterfly pattern made me smile, looking great in purple with slightly deeper purple halter strap and frilly edging. This cutie fits Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies with ease. 

The beautiful {Le'La} Zunaira Romper Gift brought a wistful smile to my heart, as I know that sunflowers were very special to Dove and reminded her of her sister who passed several years prior; Dove even had a Sunflower Park memorial garden for her beloved sister. Our outfit consists of the top, skirt, garters, and heels, all in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Please note - this gift is one of two in the center area of the event, rather than at the Le'La booth itself. I had to remind myself to point that out because you simply don't want to miss out on this :)

I've got two gifts combined for my final look, either of which can also be paired up with many other gifts or items you already have in your wardrobe. The Adore Amore Madilyn Sweater White is a lovely long sleeved knit top that twists in the front, showing off cleavage and a bit of midriff. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included in our gift. In another nod to the classic fashions of the 70s, I'm wearing it with the aprelle palomma jeans. This gift has cherry blossoms down the front of each leg, and bellbottoms with solid pink inserts to match the flowers. The textures are exquisite, with the whiskering at the front pockets and hints of the folds that walking or sitting creates on the back of the knees. Did you all have a pleasant weekend? :) Mine was pretty good, starting with a few errands on Saturday morning before and after the farmers market. It was a bit stressful being in the car that long, but I got through it so that is a positive. Things are progressing very nicely in the Pokopia game I've been enjoying, and therapy was productive this evening. Randomly I'm listening to music tonight instead of watching old tv shows and I think it's boosting my mood more than I expected :) It's a 70s/80s channel from the satellite radio, nothing special, but music really does affect how we feel sometimes. It's good because I was starting to worry about Tuesday already, when I'll be heading to the DMV for half the day for my photo ID picture taking. Sitting there waiting is not easy for anyone, let alone someone with anxiety and panic attacks, so I'm just trying to prepare by having a book and my phone ready to distract myself. No blog post Tuesday, will be decompressing LOL, and spending my photo-and-note-taking time dealing with bureaucracy instead.
