Cupid's Curse Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm bringing you to the Cupid's Curse Event from Difony Events, and if you're familiar with them then you'll already have an idea of what to expect. They bring a Gothic flavor and a non-traditional twist to this holiday season, which is terrific because there used to be some anti-Valentine hunts but I didn't find any this year. Visit the event and you will find free gifts (no group needed) hanging on lantern posts next to nearly every booth, in anatomically correct hearts rather than ♥ this shape ;) That is why I don't mind sharing this after the official holiday, as the gifts aren't themed quite the same as many events or hunts this time of year. It's open until early March, so there is plenty of time to pick up demos and return to enjoy some shopping.

My first look is the [Witch In A Box] Mystic Connection Outfit, which is a versatile and flirty gift. The top and skirt are separates that fit Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD that offers 3 colors for each piece. Since they are all neutrals, mixing and matching is simple and fun :) The crescent moon on the back of the skirt appears on the front of both top and skirt, but with the added branches that bring the upcoming spring to mind. Right now it feels like it'll take ages to reach us, lol, but I trust that it will be here soon enough.

I adore the ~Sassy!~ brand and style, so their gift called Rowan dress - swirls was an immediate favorite. It has a playful halter neckline with two front straps linked by triple chains draped where you might normally see a necklace, and there are more chains in the back and at the side notches of the skirt. In sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, this dress also has a HUD with 6 dress colors and 5 metals for those chains. So pretty!

On the sexy side of the gifts, we have the [C.YFashion]*HEART*GIFT Valentine seen above. The heart-shaped pasties with tassels (and an extra tassel down below!) comprise the mesh bra, which comes in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, while the panties are a BOM layer that will work with all those bodies and more. The texturing is fantastic, with a satiny sheen, straps both front and rear, and gold heart loops. They are about to come in handy again too...

*MARTINES*LOVER1 is a thoughtful free gift with red quilted patterning and gold trim that go together beautifully. This open jacket or coat will be delightful to layer over your favorite BOM clothing like tops, pants, or leggings, and I'm already planning to wear it with a pair of jeans and a tank top. Our gift includes Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Prima, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies.

I'm still wearing those panties in my final look (more obvious from behind), the flirtatious -MicRo- Outfit Black Gift. The cropped short sleeve top has fishnet insets that make it slightly revealing, and the skirt has an itty bitty hem that explains why I'm still wearing those panties ;) It was either that or modesty flowers. It was a decent weekend here, and I am really glad I finally got to go back to the farmers market :) It was either 5 or 6 weeks in a row they were closed because of the weather, I lost track I guess, but it's extra stupid when they used to be an indoor market which would have solved a lot of that. I was so happy to see everyone again, and it seemed to be mutual, plus I picked up some treats I hadn't had in all that time. I did come up with an alternative to Music Choice since I couldn't get their app to work on my tv...it hit me that the housemate has satellite radio for the car and they in fact do have an app for Roku tv :) Tomorrow evening is a support group meeting (anxiety/agoraphobia) and I have no idea what I'll be blogging after that, LOL, but I am sure I will find something.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Poppy region of the Valentine Shop & Hop event, where you'll find 20 stores with discounted offers and gifts for all. I'm sharing a sampling of those gifts, since we all deserve something new and special :) We have until the 16th to visit and enjoy the shopping at all 14 regions, and I strongly suggest the FabFree spreadsheet to help you find specific gift types if you wish.

We start the evening with the Carol's - Valentines Gift 2026 top, which naturally has tiny hearts decorating the creamy white fabric. I was very briefly into the scrapbooking craze of the 90s, so these are reminding me of the fancy scissors and hole punches that I bought at the time :) I would absolutely still use those to create guides to paint my RL nails too, although they are not nearly this long. 

Whew, it was nice to have a day off from blogging but also great to be back :) The outing went well, nothing really noteworthy, and we were above freezing today so that helps get rid of a little of the snow and ice out there. Tonight I got to chat with a friend while we played games, and it was so fun hearing about her experiences seeing the monks who were walking for peace. That was a rare opportunity that I appreciated hearing about :) Tomorrow is dinner with the parents, and I'm 90% sure I know what I'll be blogging but I do have to allow for those last minute "hey this event is happening and ends in 2 days" things that seem to sneak up on me sometimes. Lovers Lane Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a stroll down Lovers Lane, more specifically the Malus Park gridwide hunt by that name :) There are prizes for $5L or less in either red or pink hearts, thin but still 3D and easy to keep an eye out for if you follow the hints. They can be found at the hunt signs in most of the stores, or on the hunt website along with the landmarks and preview images. It is very handy to have it open while you're exploring the hunt. I'm always excited to see what each designer is offering, and you'll notice that some have multiple prizes so be sure to look around well.

I'm starting the post with our $5L prize from [Ari-Pari] which is appropriately called Love Dress. This charming sundress is provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD offering 10 colors of the heart pattern you see above. That's such a bargain for all those lovely color choices, and I am drawn to the ruffled hem and the pretty bows atop each strap.

Find the dollarbie heart at @rOrO and you'll receive the adorable Ashley & Everly Hearts Pattern 3 outfit. The bare shouldered top is named Ashley, so naturally Everly is the shapely below-the-knee skirt with hem that comes to a point both front and back. Each piece comes in sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The black provides a fun contrast for the cream and red, creating a very appealing color palette.

Next we see one of the 6 Gidget's Style prizes, all for $5L apiece. This is their GS Abby Dress PINK, a trio of dresses in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. I'm wearing just the dress on the right, and the left is our dress with top; the version not shown is the dress with a light colored top beneath instead :) These are so versatile for any season, since you can decide if you are feeling like covering up your arms or not. In my RL weather, I'd absolutely be wearing a variety with the top ;) The dress itself has such a playful texture, and it looks great in the other colors too from the other hidden hearts.

Since I find the color pink to be very romantic and feminine, the TRS Designs Isarena Top prize is a fantastic choice for Valentine's Day. It's also hard to resist a $1L deal this pretty :) This heart contains Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The color caught my eye first, but the bare arms, turtleneck style, and cropped hem are all delightful details too of coruse.

My final look of the evening is one of many $5L prizes at Martines, actually it's the 10th of 10 hidden hearts. The 26LOVERSLANE10 treat is a daring one-piece outfit (can't decide if that's a skirt or open pant leg) in spicy hot pink with black lipstick prints all about, held by thin straps on the mostly open right side. It includes sizes for Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, Peach, Prima Busty, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'd like to note that the hunt website has 7 of the 10 hints, but if you click the red and pink hearts hovering over the hunt sign at the store, you'll receive 5 hints from each for a total of ten. Check out that hunt key, there are some fantastic home decor items hidden in the hearts as well.

It was a decent day here, but I am planning a very busy day tomorrow so I most likely won't have time to blog. Going out way earlier than usual and making several stops means that my usual blog prep time will be taken up, just keeping my fingers crossed that I tolerate the outing well :) That way it'll be worth the inconvenience. Hollyhock Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm back at the Valentine Shop & Hop event, with several gifts to share found on the Hollyhock region. There are 14 regions so I keep them organized that way, giving one landmark at a time to track them all down :) The destination guide has the landmarks for all of them, but it's helpful to know that you can start at any and walk them all in a big rectangle. Also the FabFree spreadsheet of gifts is an excellent way to find certain ones you may be seeking, for example you can sort by type (tabs at the bottom left) to find the men's goodies, or by store name if you're scrolling to look for one specific brand. I'm eternally grateful to them for their hard work, as I am to all the designers who offer discounted sales and gifts at all of these wonderful S&H round :)

First I slipped into the Jack Spoon. Fleur Set - Red Lace gift, which is a perfectly paired strapless bodysuit and wrap skirt. Each is provided in original and PBR versions, all in sizing for Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm wearing the PBR on the left and non-PBR on the right, not a huge difference at first glance. I love the lace, and the vivid color is just right for Valentines while still working for any other time of year.

I kept the skirt on but swapped the bodysuit for our B-DEAN-Slouchy Tank Top-Valentine treat. My final gift look of the night is our @AdReNaLiZeD@ Alaina Luvina dress. I'm not sure which feature is my favorite - the strapless style, bare midriff, or asymmetrical hemline! Hints & Hunts Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a look at several group gifts for the Hints & Hunts group, for their XOXO hunt which runs until the 20th of February. The hunt prizes are $10L - $25L and hiding in gold hearts with pink bows around them, while the group gifts I'm sharing are found in white square boxes with hot pink ribbons atop them. These are free and the group is also free to join :) You'll find links and pictures of the gifts and hunt keys on the website. They aren't all strictly Valentine themed, but many are at least a nod to this time of year. I know some people despise the holiday, others can't get enough of it, and then there's me in the middle who leans towards liking but not obsessed with it. I'm also a "whatever floats your boat" kind of person, so I respect all opinions on the subject and try to advise you what to expect anywhere I bring you this time of year. All I want is for people to be kind to each other no matter what the calendar says :)

We start out looking sexy in our .::DS::. XoXo 2026 Hunt Gift from Dark Salvation. This group goodie consists of the flirty dress and matching shoes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The rear view is what I affectionately call peek-a-booty, meaning you'll see plenty of bum cleavage, and the dress itself is on the sheer side so your valentine or random hot date will certainly want to keep you close :)

As I often try to do, I paired two gifts here for one sassy look. The YUEBIN - XOXO Hunt GIFT is a playful top named Betula, and comes in male and female avatar body sizing - Belleza Jake, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy F, Legacy M, Perky, Reborn, V-Tech, and Waifu. It is cropped and has straps hanging down the front as well as pink ones on the sleeves. Wouldn't this be great to show off a back tattoo? Next we see the sporty -MicRo- Hunt Gift. It immediately caught my eye as being terrific for any time of year and not overly girlie or cutesy. My first thought was something fun to explore anywhere in SL with friends or a romantic partner, as you could even hike a mountain trail if you add some boots or sneakers :) The tank top and shorts will each fit Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. 

My final look should remind you that I love well polished nails, and I'm always eager to show off my newest SL finds with all of you :) The CHOU Touch of RainBow group gift does not seem to be the one pictured on their website, but I adore this set and am not the least disappointed by that. There are two versions enclosed, touch of rainbow and BOuns Of touch, with the second one being the one in the center/lower part of my image above. They are animated so they knocked my socks off! Both sets of mesh nails are provided in Belleza Old, Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I was always that kid who loved rainbows in any form, so they'd have a special place in my heart even without the Pride association adding an extra smile. 

Quick hair note: this weekend's Saturday Sale offering from Truth Hair is a collab with Truth's RL daughter, which makes me very happy to see that his talent is shared by the next generation. Also to be fair it is simply a fantastic style that I would have bought no matter who he'd designed it with! There are hair clips included but not shown that have hearts with different sayings for each color you choose from the HUD, very Valentine candy themed and a great nod to the holiday.

The weekend felt both fast and slow at the same time, always mysterious when that happens but I will say it was an enjoyable one here :) Houseguest, birthday celebration, wonderful company and I stayed indoors most of the weekend to avoid the bitter cold. Even my therapy session this evening went well, and finished over an hour before The Big Game started ;) That is not my sport of choice, so I was only interested in the commercials and the halftime show, and Puppy Bowl of course ♥. My guest is on their way home right now, so there's that little pang of missing them already, but it is never a goodbye but see you later. I'm watching figure skating right now while I type this, but it's tricky to focus on both and I've got other things to do so the skating will get paused (tivo) shortly. Love Is In The Air

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have the pleasure of exploring the CMH Love Is In The Air 6 Hunt, a fantastic Cheeky Monkey Hunts production. We're looking for flat red hearts with a white shine on the left side (that'll make sense when you see it, LOL) which either hold $1L prizes or $25L - $50L exclusive offers. Just have a peek at the hunt's website for the landmarks, hints, prices, and pictures of what each heart will hold. Many designers have more than one prize hiding, so having those hints handy will be very helpful in making sure you track down the correct hearts :) Just don't ask me to choose a favorite here, because these designers all hold a special place in my heart.

My first look of the evening is our $25L exclusive from Adore Amore, which is their flirty Brianna Rompers. There are pink and white versions each of the strapless romper and the belt, all of which are provided in Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes. I'm wearing them mixed so the white belt on the pink romper and vice versa, but it looks great either way or even without any belt if that's your preference.

The holiday vibes are certainly plentiful at GoodVibes, thanks to 3 different $1L hunt prizes. I'm starting with HER Valentine Vibes, which is the ladies' version of a playful pajamas set (there is also a HIS for the guys). We receive the top and pants that each fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The top says Valentine Vibes surrounding a smiley face with both hands in peace signs, and the pants are dotted with black and white hearts. Lots of fun details and so generous for just a single linden :)

Next I changed tops for their GoodVibes With You Top prize. This cute sleeveless shirt comes in sizing for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. The front says "I Love Hanging With You" above and below a pair of adorable monkeys swinging on the same branch :) This is particularly sweet because it could apply to friends or family as well as that special someone. It matched the red of the pj pants quite well, but you can pair it with jeans, pants, shorts, skirts, or whatever bottoms go with your current mood.

I had to laugh with the ~Sassy!~ Val tank dresses - Love is All You Need duo, a $25L exclusive offer that reflects the sassy attitude of the brand :) Our white "Little heart Breaker" dress and "I Licked it so it's Mine" in pink are each provided in Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu body sizes, plus the panty that fits Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies. Both dresses are trimmed in red, and the lollipop on I Licked It makes it seem plausible that it is a perfectly innocent statement ;) 

My final look of the night is another wonderful dollarbie prize, the [Ari-Pari] Wild Love Outfit. It's just right for anyone who is spending their Valentines in a warm SL climate, or just prefers the breezy feel of shorts to show off their legs. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies each for top and shorts, as well as the HUD that offers 5 colors for each. The shorts all have a playful sketched heart texture with backgrounds that match the shirt colors so we can mix or match. I feel so cozy and flirty in this set!

Happy Weekend! I've got a houseguest who arrived in the morning and will be here till Sunday, part of my belated birthday celebration as we all had dinner tonight at my parents' from my favorite Thai place. It was delicious as always, and it is a relief that they can do gluten free foods for my parents. Now I'll be spending the weekend indoors trying to stay warm, since we're getting ridiculously cold weather with temps below zero (F). The plans are simple - tv, video games, and birthday cheesecake for dessert ;) I used to do ice cream cakes, yes in January, so I've never been a stickler for tradition.
