Picking Pumpkins at Swank

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're cruising into the weekend with some more group gifts from the SWANK Event and their Goth Halloween themed October round. The pumpkin hunt for their group members (no fee to join) are simply placed at many of the booths rather than having to search all over for these treats, so no tricks here ;) We have almost a week remaining to enjoy the event and all it offers.

Let's start the evening with a flirty top, the Vulnus Pumpkin Hunt prize. It is tied at the bust and the sleeves are nearly detached to show off our shoulder, but our arms stay warm for the chilly days that have just arrived in RL here. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies included when you click this pretty pumpkin. I love the style, and the pattern on the fabric is a Halloween dream :) I'm wearing the Delizio jeans in black with this top, from their marketplace which is linked in my Everyday Basics tab above.

The scalloped trim of our [Enchantress] Regan Bodysuit gift reminds me of bat wings, so that aspect certainly gives spooky season vibes. We've got some really flirty cutouts here too, underbust and both sides of the ribs, so this is one of the few SL bodysuits that didn't make me also think 'swimsuit'. It is loaded with variety too, as there is a HUD with 40 colors (some partly sheer down the front) to choose from and 5 metals for the clasp in the front. The bodysuit fits Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

Our ELITE - GIFT SWANK EVENTS II gift can serve as a costume with all the fixings, or a fun seasonal look with just the dress if you prefer. The bare shouldered dress has lush layers of ruffles on the skirt, and a HUD with 3 similar texture options that all look terrific on it :) We receive sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies of the dress, along with the purple pointed hat and cute ice cream cone to hold in the left hand. I only removed the hat for the right half of this photo because my hair buns were popping through, LOL, and it looked pretty silly. I'll choose a different hairstyle in the future that is more compatible with hats, and I'll try not to eat the whole ice cream cone before wearing this again. Aren't we lucky that SL food doesn't melt or spoil?

Next we take a peek at the Melody Adila // Fatpack from their pumpkin. It consists of the top and skirt in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn bodies, as well as a HUD that lets us choose from 20 colors apiece for the skirt, belt, top, and buttons, plus 5 metals. The buttons are on the left side of the tube top, which I'd like to note is a lacy texture so you might need pasties beneath (I am wearing nipple covers that came with my body's skin) for modesty. Would it be too grandma-ish to add that a pair of panties wouldn't go awry either? LOL! My intention is never to body shame or tell people what to do, but bring it to your attention if something might show off more than you intend.

Last but certainly not least for the evening, I am ready to party in our {Le'La} Samiela Dress Gift. This dress features my favorite gradient of colors from blue to pink, since it produces purple in the middle ♥. The pattern reminds me of foil embossing, and the low slung belt around the hips is totally 80s to me ;) It comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizes. There is a HUD enclosed that did not seem to work, so either I had an SL glitch or it was popped in there by mistake since this is a gift version of the dress. I am absolutely not complaining, as I would choose this color combo in a heartbeat. I'm just mentioning it simply for informational purposes :) So where's the first place I should wear this fantastic look?

I had a nice time at my parents' for dinner, and I am looking forward to the farmers market tomorrow morning. I know it will be much colder than I'm used to outside, low 50s, but I'm shocked that it's only 38 degrees out there right now! Good thing I have a mini heater behind me, ready to go whenever I need it, but 67 in here doesn't actually feel too chilly yet I hope you all have an amazing weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Gifts for MGSN Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some fantastic gifts to share for the MGSN group, which stands for Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News. That doesn't mean that the gifts will only fit the Maitreya body; as a matter of fact I am wearing Legacy tonight :) The designers do usually offer multiple sizes in the gifts, so it is always worth checking. The MGSN group is currently free to join, so that group tag is all you need to claim these wonderful treats (with the exception of one linden $ for one gift) for a chic start to your weekend.

My first look appears to be several pieces, but it's actually all combined into one easy to wear outfit :) The ELITE - FERNANDA - GIFT is just $1L and one mesh piece, in standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Slink mesh body versions. The soft shades of blue are so peaceful, from the plaid button-down to the solid tank, right on down to the faded denim shorts. I think sandals or sneakers would look particularly nice with it, don't you?

Something about the Yalin Fashion ASHA gift just screams weekend to me! Perhaps it's the sexy lace side panels, which are sheer enough that without pasties or nipple covers (which I am wearing) I believe there would be some peekaboo action happening ;) The zipper in the back is such a fun detail too, showing just how to get in and out of this strapless beauty. There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies to fit lots of the popular brands. 

I also visited Delicatt Couture, where I found the flirtatious Csilla BodySuit as our MGSN group gift. It has a sheer lace top (remember I'm wearing nipple covers, yours will show through if you aren't!) and solid lower half with softly ruffled edges which I think we used to call lettuce leaf edging :) We receive Altamura, Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Slink Hourglass sizes, along with a HUD that offers 12 lovely colors. I usually say that bodysuits in SL can double as swimsuits, but this one is giving more of a lingerie-only feeling to me. You can certainly wear it whenever and wherever you wish if you feel differently, as long as the rules of your destination agree that is :)

Next we continue with lace, thanks to the gorgeous InViDiA_LiNe Gift. The dress and bolero are separates, each in sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The included HUD has 3 colors each (red, black, white) for the sleeves, lace, and main dress, so we get to do some mixing and matching which is always exciting :) The bolero is optional because it's a separate piece, so just let your mood and personal style help you decide which way to wear it each time.

My final look of the night is our .:KF:. GILDA GIFT from KyaraFashion. This beautiful floral skirt set has a built in belt atop the high waisted skirt, and a low cut tank top with similar heart shaped adornments. They each come in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu body sizes. There is a fun little secret too - an "undress me" script is built in so we can let others strip our outfit off if we wish. I suggest checking the settings before heading out in public to ensure that permission is only granted to those you choose :) Any time I'd accidentally stripped in public (always a crowded store too, LOL) it was because I somehow mistakenly replaced my outfit with a random box from my inventory, and it's been over a decade so now I'm afraid I might be overdue...karma, you didn't hear this!

My day was pretty good overall, especially dinner with my parents (frittata, ham, veggies, rice) when we also took the opportunity to celebrate my dad's birthday. My housemate threw a curveball at me, his friend with whom I have an unpleasant relationship with is coming tomorrow and Sunday to watch sports together. I strongly dislike having him around with all the asthma-inducing cat dander he brings (and noise, and drunken antics) but he isn't actually sleeping here so it will just be evening disruptions. Work trip, they paid for his hotel, can't blame him since all that's available here is a sofa. We're still going to the farmers market in the morning, and I'll be getting tasty food there for my weekend :) I hope you've all got a nice weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

SLMB Flash Sale Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I had found out about the SLMB (^^SL Mesh Body) group having a flash sale, and there are group gifts available :) It had been a while since I'd visited this particular event space, but I knew that the gifts are in the center area (cobblestone ground texture) and all of these are found on this outdoor level. The group is currently $10L to join, a very affordable way for the group to stay protected from scams and spam :) The designers can also offers gifts at their mainstores and I do occasionally share those too. For this post though, we've got one stop shopping and gift grabbing!

My first look is the playful ::LS STORE::BEATRICE SET L&M Store gift. It consists of the top, separate sleeves, and shorts seen here. They all fit Legacy, Pushup, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies, and there is a HUD enclosed with 20 colors apiece for top, sleeves, and shorts. I love the ability to mix and match, and this is fun for this time of year when the days are still warm but the evenings can be just chilly enough to make the sleeves a necessity. 

I feel like a flirty ballerina in our ELITE - BELINDA GIFT BLUE <3 group gift :) The skirt has layered ruffles that fluff out to show off a bit of cheek in the rear view, while the bodice has a snug fit and a deep V neckline. The dress and separate sleeves are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The deep sapphire hue makes me think of the night sky, so I think I'd like to accessorize with silver jewelry that has stars on it to really bring out that idea.

Next I've slipped into the beautiful [satus Inc] Pasha Cutout Side Slit Dress. This gift catches the eye with the intriguing single shoulder strap curving up to a choker style around the throat, and a bold cutout on the right side of the waist. The skirt has an elegant print in gold, and a side opening that gives the slightly asymmetrical hem even more oomph. We receive Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn body sizes in this treat.

 I simply couldn't resist sharing the Graffitiwear 2026 SLMB Group Gift since it is just so alluring :) Our heart-shaped top flutters loosely above a miniskirt gathered on each side, both designed for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, Reborn, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. The HUD offers 3 choices for each piece, so the top has 3 patterns to match the solid colors of the skirt. This is great for taking advantage of these remaining warm weather days, and it is very easy to wear BOM pasties beneath if you want to protect the nips from making a surprise appearance ;)

My final look of the evening is our gift called ~Sassy!~ Echo vinyl set - violet. It lives up to the brand name and has a terrific sheen to show off the vinyl texture :) I love the crossed straps of the waist too! Our top and skirt are each included in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

It is so hard for me to explain my outings without sounding like I've lost the last of my marbles, LOL, like well it was great but it was also awful? The car ride itself was very stressful, but being in each store was so lovely and felt really good. Maybe it was partly relief from being out of the car, but I talked to a few kind people (coincidentally including the owners of both little shops) and was truly happy to be there. Just imagine how much easier my life would be if teleportation were possible in RL! :) It was a successful outing, I just wish it were easier to stay calm in the car. Blue Savannah

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Blue SL Event, which has about a week left on their current round and lots of $50L exclusive sales for us to enjoy. What you'll find here though is several group gifts that you can claim if you've joined their free group, and there are different goodies for group members each month so it is well worth the group slot :) As for the title, I've somehow developed a tradition of using song titles with the word 'blue' in them, and it's become more of a challenge as time goes by. Blue Savannah is a catchy Erasure song from 1990, a synth pop ditty that is romantic but not a slow song. It's not a genre I'm well versed in (pun intended?) so it was fun to look back and remember something I hadn't heard in ages. I also appreciate its reminder that home is where the heart is ♥ so SL truly is my second home. Eventually I might have to reuse some songs, lol!

Let's start with the flirty ELITE - BRASIL group gift, which you can pick up by clicking the word GIFT on their display rather than looking for the traditional blue and white hatbox shaped gift :) The top and shorts are each provided in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Squish mesh bodies. I'm gobsmacked at how beautiful the design on the top is, and I'd love a recommendation for a Brazilian region to visit in SL that might help me appreciate the natural beauty there even more. I'm also impressed by that spicy rear view, lol.

When you head into the event building and look to the immediate right, you will see a special VIP group gift each round. This time we have two treats in one box from Intisl, and when you click it you'll see a blue menu pop up with choices of body sizes - Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, or Reborn. If you want more than one size, by all means please give it another click and pick another one :) The Intisl Elie dress gold is the beauty on the left above, while Intisl Trace dress blue is looking fashionable to the right. I would ask which one you all prefer, but honestly it doesn't even matter when you get to pick up both for free :) As for my favorite, that depends on the destination and I think the gold dress looks hot for an evening at a club, while the blue is shorter and feels like a fun date choice. 

Our Nut & Squirrel Apsara casual gift outfit is a playful pairing of tank top, sleeves, leggings, and a belly chain that will all fit Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. There are HUDs as well, so we have 30 colors for the top, 30 for the sleeves, 20 solid colors and 20 patterns for the leggings, and 5 metals for the chains. Just use the arrows on the lower left of each HUD to see the next page of options. The top has a chain on it too by the way, just to help pull the look together :) Guess what I'm wearing around the grid tonight?

So I may have gasped out loud just a little when I spotted the beautiful @rOrO Cotton Candy Daisy Dress gift, but just look at it - can you blame me? :) Flowers make me happy, and this color combo is always a winner. The style brings thoughts of breezy summer evenings, maybe dancing with someone special to our title song. This gift includes sizes for Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies. 

My final look this evening is the Jada Shorts Set Teal gift from Allure Couture. I'm a huge fan of their creations, so I couldn't wait to unpack this treat! There is an unpacking HUD so you can choose to deliver Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, or Waifu mesh body sizes. That folder contains the top, shorts, and choker & sleeves which are linked together. The top and sleeves have a gorgeous floral pattern, while the choker and shorts are solid dusky teal. I'm wearing just the top and shorts on the right so you can see what it looks like to omit the choker & sleeves piece, just as lovely of course :) 

Whew, it's a steamy week out there! It was 78 degrees in here for a while, but it's down to 74 so I am feeling relief. My plans of gaming with friends for tomorrow got canceled unfortunately, due to plans that they forgot and can't change, but it's not a big deal and I still chat with one of them daily online. It's fun to have a gab session on the phone too of course, but I am very easygoing about plans changing since I've had to cancel things last minute plenty of times.
