Hiya everyone! Tonight we hop back over to the Halloween Shop & Hop 2026 event, which is a delightful way to save money and get to know more of SL's talented designers. There are 12 regions with 384 total booths, so it's a good thing we have until early November to explore them all :) Everyone there is offering discounted sales items and a gift for visitors, so your inventory might need a little sorting after visiting to keep things organized. As I've mentioned before, I go by regions when blogging so everything featured tonight is from the Chickory region. Meanwhile I am always going to suggest that you check out the FabFree spreadsheet of gifts, an incredibly valuable resource with direct links, pictures, and sortable by type (men, women, dinkies, credits, decor, etc.) and I am always grateful for their hard work compiling and maintaining it.
My first look of the evening is a stunning sleeveless minidress from Beauty Factory which is simply named .BF. Gift Dress. The texture might be PBR based on how reflective it looks here, a shimmery purple with intricate folds and wrinkles. We receive Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes of this wonderful treat with eye-catching diagonal hemline.
With any dress or top that has no sleeves (like the Beauty Factory dress) it can come in very handy to have a little shrug or bolero to cover your shoulders when the weather turns cooler. [The Forge] Drusilla Shrug is a gorgeous option in black stripes with puffy sleeves trimmed in intricate lace. So darkly dramatic, I think it brings a perfect touch of Gothic elegance to any look :) Pick up this gift and you'll find eBody, Lara X, and Legacy sizing inside, and I would love to hear (or see) what you pair it with.
I am truly fascinated by the flame cutouts on our zOOm - Vogel Bodysuit gift 🔥. It fits Erika, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and we get to choose from 8 colors via HUD. I particularly like how it covers all the essentials, yet gives us plenty of peeks like cleavage, bare back, and belly button.
Next I've changed into the playful TO.KISKI - Taylor Outfit 01 Black treat. The cropped top, shiny belted miniskirt, and chunky heel sandals are each included in Lara X, Legacy/Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizing. I know it's hard to see from a distance, but the top has a stick figure with arms spread wide, saying "F*ck You Soooooooo Much" above and below. It's not censored like I just did, lol, and I even counted the o's in so ;) Most of the time I am pretty easygoing and this shirt wouldn't apply, but I feel this way against the opposing team when watching hockey for sure! I really want to wear these strappy sandals with other outfits too, as they just strike me as so versatile.
Sometimes I love to wrap things up with a fantastic set of nails, and I'm excited to get to do that tonight with the Belle Epoque - Lilith Mesh Nails GIFT. The 6 designs that we can choose from on the enclosed HUD all look like they've been created with magnetic polish, which is a special interest of mine in RL so this tickled me :) There are mesh nails for left and right hands to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn hands, so we just need to use the body's HUD to hide the built in nails and add the pertinent sizing from this folder. Then add the nails HUD to pick your fresh new manicure ♥.
My anxiety support group meeting was this evening (every other week) and this one was a lot to process. We are a truly supportive bunch and there are some really kind people there, so I am glad to be a part of it even when a meeting gets intense. Otherwise I have no idea what I am doing this week, other than trying to get an appointment for a haircut since this mop is getting out of control ;) It's half curls, half waves, and all frizz, LOL, so I need help taming this beast. I'm also shedding like a pack of huskies, but the haircut can't help with that. Since my appointment will probably be next week, I'll have to chose a destination for this week's adventure.
