Gilded Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more SL21B Shop & Hop gifts to share, but unlike last night's these are on a non-adult region called Gilded. There are 20 moderate regions like this, and 4 adult ones, all of which have 20 displays apiece for a total of 480 amazing stores. All have discounted items and gifts, and I cannot recommend the FabFree guide enough for deciding where to go :) Their team worked so hard on it and are keeping it updated as needed. As for the event itself, the 21st birthday of SL's celebration is open until the 21st of July so we have time to visit everywhere and enjoy.

I'm starting the evening strong with the sexy [ADD] Valerie Dress - BlueL gift. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a very handy HUD. That offers latex (left above) or silk (right) texturing, 7 metals and 5 glossiness settings, plus 10 colors and an on/off option for the built in panties. It looks fantastic from the back as well as the front, don't you think?

Another don't-miss gift is the ::ALTER:: Aruba Top & Skirt (Suit) ~ Gold seen above. They are actually linked together as one piece, which fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The top has a really fun collar connected by diagonal strap across the front, with lots of bands to help create this playful style.

When you visit the Grumble display, you'll find several free gifts there including this sassy Wrap Dress-Bear treat. The style has a peek-a-booty cutout on the back and low scooped arm openings, for flashes of skin in intriguing places :) We receive Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Prima Busty, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes.

Next we have a versatile gift from ERSCH called Reenis Dress -lilac- . The name doesn't even give you the full picture though, as it includes the dress, panties, and a separate top that will each fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Mounds, and Waifu bodies. There is also a HUD with 50 different colors for the pearls and 10 for the metals, so we can really customize the appearance :) The top can be worn instead of the dress, with the panties, if you want the look of just seashells and pearls with no flowing skirt portion.

For my final look of the night, I'm feeling romantic in our .:(CW):. Nicole Sexy Dress SL Happy! gift from Celestina's Weddings. It is delightfully ruffly, and the soft creamy color will flatter many. The strapless high-low hem gown comes in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Bombshell, Lara X, Petite X, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Prima, Prima Petite, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. 

It was a decent day here, hot but no rain, and dinner with my parents was nice. Unfortunately my mom's oven has been acting up lately and running hotter than set for, so the stuffed shells were overcooked and wound up with a few crunchy spots. She was embarrassed but we didn't care and I even brought home a few leftovers :) I'm starting the new dose of one of my medications in the morning, and I don't expect to feel any differently because it is just a small increase, at least not for a while. Special Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another SL21B Shop & Hop exploration, with all featured gifts found on the Trillium region. Please note that this is an adult region, one of 4 this round, so your settings will need to allow you to visit such areas and you can expect to see various levels of adult items ;) That can range from furniture for mature activities to very adult artwork for your walls, and I even saw a gift that is an animesh companion of a male member. I've been around SL for long enough not to be shocked, LOL, but it is worth mentioning for those who are sensitive to such things and I would never judge anyone for that. The gifts I am showing you are not overly adult in nature, so this post is still safe for most eyes :) SL21B is open until the 21st of July, which gives us lots of time to visit all 24 S&H regions as well as many other festivities.

My first look is the gift from small named OMG It's The Sweet Little Grey Dress! which tickled my funny bone. The name certainly gives you a great idea of what to expect, a heather grey mini tank dress that fits like a flirty dream. It includes sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I always enjoy neutrals because of the possibilities of either adding lots of brightly colored accessories, or keeping things simple with equally neutral colors.

Next I shimmied into the sexy [Sarafashion] BODY DESTINY gift. This one-piece lingerie set will fit Freya, Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Prima Busty mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included, with 8 color choices for the lace embroidery on the sides both front and back. It's great to have a look with sheer mesh, solid bra cups and panties, and double garters all built into one easy to wear outfit. 

I kept that bodysuit on here because I needed to layer something over top of it, the .cococat. Bae T-shirt - GIFT Unisex treat. There are black and white versions each of this lifted shirt, in sizes for Anatomy, Belleza Jake, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy F, Legacy M, Bombshell, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. We can wear so many different styles of clothing with this, like BOM bras, tank tops, strapless dresses, or pasties to name just a few examples. 

The [GIULIADESIGN]-EWA- 1 gift may look familiar, as it is also being offered as a group gift at a different event ;) I blogged it last week as a matter of fact, lol, but it felt worthwhile to share again since it is so classically lovely. The dress gives the appearance of a turtleneck sweater and frilly hemmed miniskirt combined, and is provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. 

For my final look of the evening, I'm definitely ready for some dancing in the [ZEX] Dreamer Top & Skirt @SL21B Shop & Hop gift! The rear view is a bit revealing of some booty cheek, so make sure your destination is okay with that :) I think a mature nightclub with fun lighting will show off this outfit to its reflective finest.

It was a quiet day and I'm fine with that, and tomorrow will be dinner at my parents' which I am looking forward to :) The weather is still muggy, but that is why I have 2 fans in here now and can try to stay cool and comfy. Kiyomizu Summer Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sharing some free hunt prizes from the Kiyomizu Summer 2024 hunt, a seasonal (4 times a year) exploration of the lovely Kiyomizu Mall and some of the stores' main locations. The floating ghosts will help you out with a link to a personalized website that shows which ninja kitties you have found, and where the ones you still need are located. I've always been impressed with the scripting that goes into this hunt :) The signs keep track of things, and the cats communicate with them. There are no hints and these kitties can be resized or even flattened to hide in walls, so be prepared to do a fair amount of searching for some of them! Others are large and easy to find, so you don't know what to expect until you arrive. I start out wandering the entirety of the mall, looking for hunt signs in those stores, then give a ghost a click to see where else I need to be :) This summer round lasts until the 7th of July, so we have some time yet to enjoy.

Summer does mean lots of beach fashions, so the ninja cat at Shiorin's Mart is ready with their =CS= Bikini Swimsuit prize. Pet him and you'll receive the bikini worn as one piece in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes, in black with bursts of pretty fireworks as the pattern. There is even a little text on the lower left bra cup that says kiyomizu 24 so you will always know where and when you picked up this sweet treat :)

Next we see the playful SHOP KERO School Girl Summer Uniform, just as versatile as it is cute :) The shirt with attached tie and fun pleated skirt are each provided in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and there is also a HUD included with 12 choices each for the shirt, skirt, and plaid tie. The blue button on the lower right of the HUD is not labeled but I clicked it and discovered it is an on/off option for the tie. I used to be afraid of trying anything like that in SL, but over the years I've decided that I cannot damage anything permanently, and if something goes wrong I can always redeliver or unpack a new copy :) I am more cautious with things that do not have copy permissions. So give things a click and have fun!

MeltingDots Freebie Store has a great seasonal hunt prize for us too, their Tropical Swimwear 2024. The one-piece style is relatively modest which is certainly a good thing sometimes, with crossed straps in the back that I simply adore. It fits Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 6 patterns for the main swimsuit and 6 solid colors for the bows on the front straps, and <> arrows to adjust the proportions of the texture you select. The center button between the arrows seems to be a reset for that sizing. So on the right above, I used the arrows to make the pattern much larger, repeating less frequently, with the default on the left and you can go even smaller if you prefer.

I've been a fan of Frangipani Garden for ages, so I was thrilled to claim their *FG* Monique Bikini prize from this hunt. The bikini and sarong are all one piece, designed for eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies. The colors and pattern are giving groovy retro vibes! 

Just when I thought I was done, a tempting treat kept haunting me until I added a bonus shot ;) In my hand you will see the .:H/D:. Strawberry waffle sandwich from Honey Dragon, which comes in biggies and dinkies versions. It has the hold pose you see above, without an eating animation, so you can use it for photos without unexpected nibbling. Can I just say how delicious this looks? Fresh waffles, chocolate icing with rainbow sprinkles, and a layer of thinly sliced strawberries sandwiched between...drool! Xan can tell ya that I am fascinated by SL food in general, and appreciate knowing that there are no health consequences if my avi decides to chow down on spicy beef or any of the dozens of other tasty things I can no longer enjoy in RL. Just think, this waffle sandwich can be enjoyed any time of day or night, no calories and no cooking skills needed :) 

Yesterday went fairly well, all in all, as I got to the lab to get my blood drawn and got through it even though my usual phlebotomist wasn't there. I'd been looking forward to seeing her, as we've known each other for over 20 years and she always asks about my parents, etc., so seeing a stranger made me want to turn around and run away. Thanks, anxiety :P  But I didn't, and even though he had bad smoker's breath and kept calling me hun, I tolerated the blood draw and made it home in one piece mentally. My doctor already got the results and adjusted a medication, like geez that was fast! Now the pharmacy has to obtain the new dose, and I will be retested in a month. The weather is still hot with a touch of storms tonight, so I am doing my best to stay calm and cool. I'll probably pivot back to Shop & Hop tomorrow unless something else time-limited crops up.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Halcyon region of SL21B Shop & Hop, one of 24 regions that are filled with offerings from top designers, 480 of those to be exact :) There are free gifts at every display, with exclusive offers and discounted items galore so get your favorite virtual walking shoes ready and your virtual wallet. I'm going to mention again the hard work of the FabFree team in keeping a spreadsheet with landmarks and photos for every single gift, sharing that link with a huge thank you to their team. I just finished visiting places this morning and I still have some organizing of gifts to do, but I do keep them sorted by region to help you track down the gifts I'm sharing a bit easier.

My first look is perfect for soon-to-be brides, or anyone who appreciates the fine craftsmanship that comes with a sheer lacy gown in snowy white. Whew, what a wild evening for hockey fans! It was game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, no not that trendy kind you drink out of (you have no idea how confusing it was for me to hear about influencers wanting a Stanley cup when I know it as a sports trophy!) but a prize my favorite team hasn't won since I was an itty bitty toddler. The Panthers won the first 3 games, the Oilers won the next 3 to tie things up, and that left one last game to win it all. The final score was 2-1 Panthers so obviously it was amazingly close, and I expect that there is much partying in Florida tonight. As for me, I have a blood draw tomorrow that I am terrified of simply because it means leaving the house and going further than my usual little outings, so I'm struggling to calm myself. I am taking tomorrow evening off from blogging as a mental health day, and I'll be starting to fast in a couple of hours so my day is not going to be a particularly fun one. I know I've done this dozens of times before and I can do it again, logic is just not taking a hold in my panicking brain. SL21B Shop And Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm really excited to share some SL21B Shop & Hop gifts, as there are 24 regions loaded with 480 total stores who are nearly all offering free gifts with no group tag needed. SL21B is SL's 21st Birthday, a grand celebration with a theme of elements (like fire and water, not as in oxygen and magnesium) that is optional but is resulting in some terrific creations. It opened on the 21st and we have until the 21st of July to explore it all, and with all the celebrations we almost need that much time! The shopping is a big part of it but not the entirety, so I'll refer you to the official destination guide to see the bigger picture. I would also like to share the link to the FabFree post with their amazing spreadsheet, which has been ready since the event opened which shows you just how hard those fine folks have been working on things :) You can use the tabs on the bottom of the spreadsheet to sort by store name or type of gift, so if you want to find a specific store or only look at male gifts (Xan's next quest, lol) these are just a click away. As I always do, I am taking the gifts one region at a time, so tonight's are all found on Poppy.

My first look this evening combines two gifts at once, since why not start big? :) The top is our SF:: Summer Leather Top GIFT SLB21 treat from Scarlet Fey, a sleeveless tank top crafted from two shades of brown leather. I kept those jeans on again here, but swapped tops into the beautiful ***Ambrosia***Bustier [SHOP&HOP GIFT]. I adore the floral print, and the red hue of the blossoms made me think of poppies just like the name of the region :) This treat comes in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. It seems this is one of the designers who has changed over to Lara X and eliminated classic Maitreya from their size set, which is why I am wearing my Legacy body for most of this post.

I can't decide if I look like a fairy, pixie, or princess here! This is the * EXiA * Evelina Dress SL21B Gift, and it starts with the beautiful full skirted dress in sizes for Legacy, Lara X, and Petite X bodies. There are panties built in, and separate sleeves that seem to fit all of the body sizes. Now if you'd prefer this without the panties I mentioned, there is also a HUD with show/hide options for them :) So with or without panties, with or without adding the sleeves, there are plenty of ways to wear this feminine and frilly beauty.

Next we see the stunning Utopia Little Star Gift! dress, a single piece with a layered look since it appears as though the front was cut out to reveal a bra or bikini top. It comes in Gen X, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a handy HUD offering 4 colors each for the dress and the lining. We can also right click - touch (from inventory is easiest) to turn the full bright on or off, definitely a helpful feature with PBR altering our lighting ;) Hey, sometimes little stars shine the brightest, right?

My final look this evening is our gift from Salt & Pepper called S&P Fernanda dress FATPACK. At this point I realized I'd misread and had to swap bodies from Legacy to Lara X, lol, as the only body I own from the sizes provided :) Those would be Gen X Classic, Gen X Classic Dainty, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, and we also receive a wonderful HUD with 16 colors each for the cotton lace and the satin/bow portion. It sure looks like I got very attached to pale pink hues here, huh? The darker dramatic colors are as pretty as the pastels of course, and I try to show as many different colors at once for contrast to demonstrate which sections are which.

Generally my life is boring, so why do my weekends tend to be so chaotic lately? My housemate woke me up as soon as I drifted off to sleep, to tell me that there is a big loud wasp in the house somewhere and I need to...help? Protect him? I don't know. He wound up leaving the house for most of the day, getting home just in time for my therapy appointment which I decided to have indoors instead of out and about in the car in the stifling heat. There was a thunderstorm during my session, so the therapist got to watch me flinch and jump for a reason other than car anxiety ;) Otherwise it went well, a deep dive into my psyche, so not comfortable but effective. I scheduled an appointment for a blood draw on Tuesday, which will be helpful to get my health things on the right path. Melody and Giselle at Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to bring you all with me to Palomma Plaza, home to countless gifts and fond memories of The Free Dove :) The free Palomma Plaza group tag allows you to click any of the gifts you see here and claim it for your very own, and the tag reads Doves Angel as a sweet nod to Palomma Casanova who was also known as Dove. There's also a HUD of course, 20 solid colors and 20 matching prints each for the upper and lower sections. The pattern is so cute, with animals and hearts in various colors :)

Our third gift on this display is the MELODY MAYSSON DRESS FATPACK, which could be a fun choice for visiting clubs this weekend :) The dress and sleeves are separates that each fit Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. There are 2 HUDs, solids and latex, each offering 20 color options apiece for the main dress, trim, sleeves, and cuffs. I used the latex HUD on the left and solid on the right, which it appears gives us lacy cuffs for our sleeves. 

One of the two wonderful gifts on the Giselle display is this Giselle dress - 1009, loaded with sex appeal. The bodice is loosely draped and held in place by a bold chain, to match the belt around the waist. We receive Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 16 dress colors and 2 metals for the chains. A very useful bonus is the panties HUD, an applier for Omega and Maitreya in 17 different colors. I was very drawn to the lace trim at the skirt hem, just another dazzling detail :)

My final look of the evening is the eye-catching Giselle*Jetta 0719 gift, with bold lace and fun bows on each side of the waist where it's tied in place. In sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies just like the other gift, it also has a couple of HUDs...the dress can be your choice of 16 lovely colors, and you can apply one of 17 colors of panties with the Omega/Maitreya applier. You can definitely tell that I made good use of this one too ;) I picked the berry colored panties to match the dress on the left, but on the right I went black dress and blue panties beneath. That is actually more of a thong style, but the lace makes that less obvious at first glance.

If you're wondering about the shadowy line on the top of my photos tonight, and generally different lighting shown, well I did update my Firestorm with PBR, so that's all about shadows and light so things definitely changed. I tried at least a dozen different EEPs (windlight type settings) and simply wasn't satisfied with any of them, as the shadows can alter the look of the clothing I'm wearing too much for my purposes. Expect further tweaks, and please bare with me as I adjust things. I did have dinner at my parents', and my mom found some letters that she was eager to show me. They were all from the 1940s, one from my grandmother's brother serving in WWII so it was censored and vague, another from their father's sister in Italy which is in Italian and we can't read it (handwriting, google lens couldn't either) and a third from my great grandmother to my grandmother while she was in the hospital after giving birth to my mom. It was typed by my grandma's sister because their mom didn't read or write English. I'd heard about the letter because great grandma was upset that grandma wanted to give my mom the name Jenny, great grandma's name, because apparently Jenny hated her name. My mom is not named Jenny but something similar, and both my mom and grandma always regretted it. That means I'm the first woman in 4 generations not to hate her own first name :P  So that's your weird magpie family story for the weekend, lol, and I've got a few things to do before diving back into SL to play with environment settings again. My first stop of the evening was [ConTrato] where I claimed their beautiful Idris Dress. The only non-solid hue is the black with white polka dots I'm enjoying on the right above.

I really like the way the top forms a triangle pointing down just past the waist, with similarly angular neckline that draws attention to the cleavage. 

A new favorite outfit for when I'm feeling casual and sassy is the W.G STORE - Florence Set seen here :) Its tank top and denim shorts, each trimmed in black fishnet, are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Bimbo, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that has 10 color choices for the top and 8 for the shorts. The distressed look of the shorts is such a fun look for denim, and there is something so playful about the crossed straps in the back of the tank top.

I must admit I was pleased to see the zipper on the back of the pants, because can you imagine having to lace yourself into this every time you wear it? ;) That's just good attention to details in the design, and I do appreciate that.

My final look of the evening simply captivated me with that adorable print of pairs of birds snuggling :) It is our ..YIA.. Gaia Jumpsuit BIRDIES (GIFT) and includes sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for the small decoration (flower?) at the peak of the neckline, with 20 colors so you can add a pop of contrast or match it to the purple or pink colors of the fabric. Even the back is flirty with those straps, so this made me very happy for lots of reasons :) Combining birds with my 2 favorite colors was certainly the start though. 

I feel like I'm just going to melt into a puddle on the floor under my desk here, lol, and we haven't even reached the peak of the heatwave yet. That would be Friday through Sunday, so we have a really steamy weekend ahead. I didn't go out today because of the heat and not feeling well, and I was fortunate that my new doctor actually responded to my question (about the new medication) really quickly. We are staying with the lower dose for now and will discuss in the near future. If I can't tolerate a therapeutic dose, it may not be the right fit for me, but there are other options so I am not too discouraged. That is pretty much what I told her almost word for word. In SL news, I see that Firestorm has updated for PBR but I am not ready to tackle that quite yet, however I know that it will be exciting news for many :) I hope you're all having a lovely day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Colorful SWANK Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got another handful of group gifts from the SWANK Event and their Celebration of Colors round. It is an ideal time with Pride month, and the gifts are tucked inside rainbow striped flames at many of the displays on both floors of this large event. I've been a fan of SWANK for quite a while now, and I think you can tell why :) Talented designers, generous gifts, it is a winning combination for sure.

My first look of the evening is our ANNA-eZY Dress Swank Event Pride gift, a sexy draped dress with plunging neckline and diagonal hem. I really like all of them so it was difficult to narrow down to just two for the photo, so random it is :)

Our [GIULIADESIGN] EWA- 1 gift is an easy-to-wear one piece with the appearance of a sleek turtleneck tucked into a miniskirt with softly pleated hem. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included.

It was another scorcher today, and the evening is not much cooler. It was 79.8 degrees in my office when I started this post, and I'm very glad that it's down to 76.3 now but would appreciate it going even a little lower if it could. It occurred to me that my stomach issues the past several days coincided with the increased dose of the new med, so I sent my doctor a message asking about it and I am planning on dropping back to the bare minimum dose while I wait to hear back. Since it's the first time I have sent a message to this new doctor, I don't know yet how prompt she is in replying, but fingers crossed that it's before the weekend. Aggressione and RFL

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm inviting you to a new-to-me store called Aggressione, where you will find some lovely offerings.
