The Warehouse Sale

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to visit yet another event celebrating an anniversary, which shows that late August is a terrific time to start an event :) The Warehouse Sale is in a post-apocalyptic themed build, which gives a general idea of the type of sales items you can find here although it is not limited to that theme. This is their 4th anniversary, and if you join their free group you can claim gifts from all the cube-shaped crates you see at many of the displays. It is a pleasure to share the info about these events with all of you, and I'm very happy for all of these collaborations of many fine designers.

First up, we see the flirty [Glitzz] Briana Set - Black gift. The dress comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with thong panties included to fit the same bodies. There is also a HUD with 20 colors each for the corset and straps that tie it into place, plus 3 metal options. The ruffles are a fun and feminine detail, both at the bodice and at the hem :)

For this look I kept the panties on from the first photo, but added two other gifts. The NANAO // Bra // 5 Sizes + Metal HUD // Black gift is an intricate web of straps with piercings attached, in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Mounds bodies. With the HUD we can choose from 3 different metals, and turn the piercings on or off if we wish. The rear view shows off the YaYa - Hana Back Tattoo Tint gift, which is a BOM layer that is modifiable so you can edit it to change the color very easily, no HUD needed for system layers. The edit window has a texture tab that has a box to click for color, it defaults to white and I was in a purple mood here so that's what I went with.

The gift from [Gild] is their Sahara XX hoodie, which is not the type of clothing I usually refer to as sexy but here we are ;) That would be because of the deep open neckline, loosely draped as the hem is slightly lifted. The hood didn't play very nicely with the hair I changed to after all (it was worse with a long front ponytail LOL) but it has white chalk X's on each side of the hood. The gift includes Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Mesh Body F sizes.

Next I changed into the dami.the weekend.gift outfit, a short sleeved shirt and baggy sporty shorts each in sizing for eBody, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The top has a fun peach colored palm tree pattern on white background, and the tan shorts are trimmed in steely grey-blue that will go with just about anything.

My final look this evening is a closer view of my new nails, which are the Belle Epoque - Brooke Mesh Nails gift for the event. They are mesh nails (not appliers, so hide your body's built in nails and add these to your outfit) in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also get a HUD with 4 designs to choose from, so very versatile. The left and right nails are separate attachments but all tint at once with the HUD, and I think the square shape is a flattering one :) Also I'm pretty sure that Lara X and Maitreya have identical hands, so I am thinking that the Lara X size should fit the Lara 5.3 body too.

It was quite a day...the morning started with the news from the hockey world of a sudden tragic loss (Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew) thanks to some fool who decided to drive while under the influence. Johnny has 2 young children, and Matthew's wife is expecting their first child. Both brothers were supposed to be groomsmen in their sister's wedding today (obviously canceled last minute) and I just cannot imagine this family's pain in losing two siblings at the same time. Johnny was a 7-time all star who also once won the Lady Byng award for sportsmanlike and gentlemanly conduct, so it seems like he was overall a nice guy too. I did go to my parents' for dinner, which my stomach decided to take personally LOL, as it went haywire and caused a very stressful panic attack on the ride home. Nothing like hanging your head out of a car window like a dog because it distracts from your panic attack, huh? If any of my neighbors saw me and think I'm a weirdo, well I have no rebuttal ;) I hope you all have a fantastic weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

More Uber Goodies

Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got a few more treats to see from the Uber Event, all of which are available to you for free with no group tag required. Their 10th anniversary round is a momentous occasion, and is being celebrated with gifts from nearly all the participating designers for us to enjoy :) I am very grateful as always, and offer my best wishes to the Uber team for their continued success. We have about 2 weeks to grab our gifts and any demos for things we might wish to shop, as the fun wraps up on the 13th of September.

For my first look of the evening, I feel flirty in the Limited Addiction - Slow Burn gift. This top and skirt with each fit Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The sleeveless top has a fun opening to show off some cleavage, and the brief fluttery skirt is low slung and has both plaid and solid steel blue materials. 

After the week I've had, something soft to snuggle with seems like the perfect gift, so I'm very thankful for the DFS Stuffy - Foxy Uber (2024) - GIFT. It has a built in hold pose as shown, and the ridged texture looks extra plush and cuddly. 

I also claimed the beautiful *JustBECAUSE* Genevieve Dress UberSL gift, and how could I resist showing it off? The pale pink gingham fabric is decorated with ripe strawberries, and the single shoulder strap is surrounded by ruffles on both sides. Our gift includes sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies.

If the Valentina E. Anya Dress Forest gift looks familiar to you, it could be because they are offering a different color (hazel) as a gift for another event (FLF Bday Bash) and I shared that one a few days ago :) It looks just as lovely in deep green, and comes in Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. The style makes me want to twirl around with my arms up, dancing or just showing it off.

My final look of the night is the free gift from Kaithleen's called Ethel Dress - Plum. It is a playfully styled shirt dress in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. They've also provided a HUD with 20 color choices each for the collar, sleeves, and cuffs, so on the right above I changed them each to a different hue. There are 4 metals for the zipper in the front too, always a thoughtful addition when we have metallic features that can be switched up a bit. 

It was a decent day for the most part, and I did get to go out briefly with my mom as we'd planned :) We took a drive to the park, and sat in the parking lot for a little while watching dogs and looking at various things on her phone. I definitely felt anxiety while the car was moving, but relaxed when parked and was doing breathing exercises, reading my index cards (statements suggested by the therapist like "just because I feel uncomfortable doesn't mean I am in crisis") and focusing on things other than my anxiety symptoms. Tomorrow I'll be seeing her again for dinner and will thank her again, and we might do this again next week or at least in the near future. Emerald Couture Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm switching gears for a bit, and inviting you to Emerald Couture for some wonderful group gifts. Their group is free to join, and that tag entitles you to make use of the lucky chairs and boards as well as midnight manias so it is a very useful group to be in :) I think the designer has been offline due to personal issues recently, so I am hoping that we pick up these gifts now and she will be able to return soon and add to our collections. I am wishing her the best as always, and as with all of the generous designers in SL who have to step away for RL from time to time.

My first look is the EC Gidget Dress GG w HUD, which is a lovely swing dress in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is also a HUD as indicated in the name, with 5 dress textures and 4 metals. Two of the textures are abstract prints like on the left above, with very pretty solid hues for the other choices.

Another irresistible gift is this EC MieMie Outfit GG. The top and skirt are each provided in 3 versions (gold, silver, pattern) all in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The gold trimmed ones like the right above are indicated with a G in the name, S for silver, and the patterned ones are unlabeled other than item name and size. They have light teal trim that matches the embossing of the pattern, so pretty against the purple! 

Next we see the charming EC Kaihua Dress 1 Group Gift, a sleeveless mini with high collar, keyhole opening in front, and daring slit on the left thigh. It will fit Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with one size labeled Classic that could be for classic avatars or one of the mesh body sizes that offer a classic version like eBody or Legacy. Sometimes it's a little hard to tell if you don't own all the bodies so you can't just try it on with each possible body and see which fits best ;) If this were not free, I would be suggesting a demo, but of course it is a free gift so you can take the chance.

Now I think the EC Erin Dress group gift was initially intended for St. Patrick's Day (Erin go Bragh?) but its HUD makes it versatile for any season. There are sizes for Erika, Freya, Freya V-Tech, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Maitreya V-Tech, Hourglass, Physique, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The HUD I mentioned has 10 textures to choose from, two of which have shamrocks and a third has a green plaid as seen on the right above. The others are solid colors that work for any time of year :) 

My final look of the evening is another fantastic treat called EC Kathleen Outfit GG. It starts with the bare shouldered dress in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo- Low- Original, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. This mini dress has a bold opening on the right side of the skirt that goes up past the waist, and is held loosely closed with 3 straps. Then we get to add black sandals in Erika, Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach and Reborn foot sizes. To add versatility, there's also a HUD for the dress with 3 choices, all of which have multiple hues but all match the black footwear wonderfully. 

Today was only slightly better than yesterday, since last night's dinner did not agree with me so I am still not feeling my best. That also means I didn't go out anywhere like I was supposed to, so tomorrow's outing with my mom will be my first time leaving the house this week. Happy Anniversary Uber

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is packed with more goodness from the Uber Event, as we are still in the early days of their 10th anniversary round and we are celebrating with gifts. The gifts are free with no group necessary, just look for the shiny gift boxes at almost all of the displays. Uber always brings us impressive creations from talented designers, so it is a pleasure to honor them on this special occasion. As I mentioned last night, you need to visit each side of the event's layout separately, so don't miss anything :)

My first look this evening is the flirty Seniha. Yeyu Dress // Pack 4 gift. Its bodice has open bra cups, and the dress is very snug fitting to show off every curve. We receive Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD that has lots of color choices. It actually shows 40 colors in rows of 8, with a bottom row of patterns, but the only buttons that worked for me are the 4th row across of 8 blue and teal hues. I'm guessing "Pack 4" in the name is a reference to that :) Please note I am not complaining and would never do so about a free gift, just explaining in case you are surprised as I was upon clicking buttons but not seeing a response from the dress, LOL. 

I also picked up the sporty [[ Masoom ]] Soul Seeker Suit Purple gift, which gave me 80s flashbacks in the best way! The strapless bodysuit is provided in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Mounds, Juicy Boobs, and Juicy Rolls bodies, with BOM tintable leggings for each size too. The HUD included lets us pick from 12 colors for the rope of our belt for added versatility. The BOM leggings are very easy to tint, just right click from inventory - edit, then click the texture tab and click the color which is defaulted to white. That will open a color picker that will immediately tint the item as soon as you select one, then you can adjust with the slider and customize the hue.

Two gifts combined for this look, so let's start from the top. That would be the neve gift - crimson Uber tank top, a sporty ribbed knit racer-back tee that is gathered in the front and has a wide elastic band beneath the bust. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn bodies, with a 12 color HUD. I really like how it looks with the skirt, KILLJOY Synastry Skirt UBER GIFT PBR ONLY. So the name will give you a big hint about this moody floral pattern, you will only see it if you're able to use a PBR compatible viewer. The skirt fits Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Juicy Rolls mesh bodies. Did you notice the two little buttons on the front of the waistband? I do love fun details :)

I kept the neve top on and changed skirts, to the intricately crafted True Damage-I do care Skirt Fatpack. This charming mini skirt has a slit on the left side that shows woven metallic straps peeking through, in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. There's also a HUD included that offers 11 colors of plaid patterns, giving a hint of school girl but definitely all grown up ;) 

My final look of the evening is the generous Yasum gift called Nasira. Its top and skirt are each included in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The top is cropped with pockets on the short sleeves, and the ombre skirt is slit in the middle front all the way up to the top of the thigh. Also noteworthy is the golden chain on the right side, draped and with a charm of YD for Yasum Designs dangling from it. So fancy!

It was...a day. I'm trying not to be dramatic and spout about how much it sucked, lol, so I am going to simply say that obstacles were encountered and I did not go on my previously planned outing, but there is a chance it will happen tomorrow instead. My mood is the pits so I'm sorry if any of this post seemed flat or low energy, it is not a reflection of the wonderful gifts I'm sharing in any way :) I hope you're all having a peaceful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Happy Uber-Versary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are helping the Uber Event celebrate a huge milestone, their 10th anniversary round :) How do we celebrate such things in SL? Well, quite often that involves gifts for the visitors, and this is one of those instances as there are shiny teal giftboxes at nearly every display for $0L with no group tag needed. There was one (not shown) set for sale for $10L and one set to a group (also not shown), otherwise all are free with click or purchase for zero. From the landing zone there are two openings with paths that don't connect, so be sure to check one side fully then walk through the landing area and over to the other half :) It's worth it as you'll see, and I have always been delighted with every visit to Uber and their team of talented designers. 

My first look is two gifts combined that made me whisper "ooh yeah!" out loud when I tried them on together :) [The Forge] Arwen Top, Black Lace is a fantastic gift of bra and top each in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We can wear the strapless bra alone or with the sheer lace shrug, and did you notice the double chains across the back? Those are holding the see-through bra in place quite nicely. Then I added our *CK* Runway Skirt FATPACK gift from Candy Kitten. This fun denim miniskirt is cut low on the hips and has lots of terrific options. There are eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included, as well as a HUD with 15 choices for the skirt, 15 colors for the belt, and 2 metals. Three of the skirt fabrics have the images you see above on them, with the rest being solid denim hues. 

Have Unequal is offering a lovely free gift called [HU] Hadley LongShirt_Stone&White Dots !! . At first glance you might think of a retro shirt dress, but look closer and you'll see the flirty details :) It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies, and includes a handy HUD with fabric or wool textures (wool is on the left above, slightly striped) and lots of other choices - 18 textures for collar and cuffs, 6 button colors, 13 for the belt, 6 metals, and 6 harness metals. There are also options to show or hide the belt, the harness, and even the lower portion of the dress so the entire skirt can go poof if you wish. 

Next we see another very versatile treat, the [seeker] Aly GiftPack. This playful dress comes in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu bodies, with panties in similar sizes (Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn). The HUD provided has 4 color choices for the main dress, 8 for the border, and 4 for the panties, with several hide/show options for various portions of the outfit. For example, I have the midriff section hidden on the right above :) 

Summer is on its way out for the year, but it can stick around all year long in SL and especially if you're wearing this cutie! The Carol's Store - Izzie Dress Blue looks just as beautiful coming and going, thanks to the crossed straps tied sweetly in the back and the ruffled empire waist. There are Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Momma, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The floral pattern looks so pretty in blue!

My final look of the evening is a generous gift with lots of sex appeal, the Havoc. Remi Dress. Fatpack. The style looks like a slim fitting dress slit open in the front, tied very loosely to show off cleavage and midriff, and layered over a miniskirt of the same length as the dress. We receive sizes for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with an impressive 38 colors to select from. So many amazing choices!

It was a fairly typical Monday here, oh and I wanted to mention in case anyone else is having crashing issues with Firestorm and the new PBR release...with Xan's advice I did a clean reinstall over the weekend and found folders and files for 4 different versions on my PC from prior installs (not clean). I was really hopeful that things would be better, and there was a slight improvement as far as not crashing the first night even after testing with lots of teleporting and loading crowded places. My lag has increased considerably though and I seem to be rebuilding my entire inventory each time I login, as though I'd cleared cache (which I did not!) but then this morning I crashed for the first time since reinstalling. So where does that leave me, you may wonder? Pretty much waiting for Firestorm to release a better version, while considering the possibility of rolling back to the prior version if things get too rough. FLF Bday Bash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to celebrate, thanks to the FLF Bday Bash '24. The general theme is camping, and there are free group gifts we can claim by clicking the lanterns at each display. The lanterns have a camping feel, and the group is the FLF or Fifty Linden Fridays group, a sales event that has been a huge part of SL for 15 wonderful years now. I'm so happy for them and their longevity, and glad to be able to share some gifts and tempt you to do some bargain shopping while you're there :) The event just opened, and runs until the 13th of September.

My first look of the evening is the beautiful Asteria "Hope" FLF'24 Bday Gift, consisting of both the one-shoulder top and choker seen above. Each fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. I'm loving that twist in the front, and the bold flower on the choker! 

Next I slipped into the "Edna" Top-Jacket White gift from KLEIN. This snowy colored pairing can be worn together or separately, on Classic, Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. The top is a slender tube, while the jacket is cropped and has 3/4 length sleeves so it is still suitable for warmer weather. I couldn't resist adding a pop of color though, thanks to Kibitz and their gift FLF bash Beads necklace. This treat comes in eBody, Lara X, Legacy, and unrigged versions, all delicate teal beads with a small golden clasp in the front. The choker fit means that they will go well with many different necklines, meaning the outfit possibilities are endless :)

One more top I couldn't resist sharing is the Palette - Amore Top [Peach]. This sweet and sassy shirt is tied on each side and gathered all around with pretty ruffles. Inside this gift, you'll find eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I'm wearing all of these tops so far with my favorite marketplace freebie find, the Delizio jeans, which is a fatpack but I'm wearing the white ones here. System/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega in 9 colors, very versatile and much appreciated.

I'm also eager to show off a couple of dresses, like this lovely Valentina E. Anya Dress Hazel gift. The color is a deep bronze-brown that does remind me of hazel eyes, and the tiered skirt is a beautiful touch :) Our strapless beauty comes in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

My final look of the evening is the wonderful gift from Vague. called Chontei Dress - FatPack. One slender strap goes from the left bodice over the right shoulder, and the left side has two daring openings showing a little extra skin. I appreciate the variety, and think this dress was the perfect excuse for utilizing my Legacy body again this evening :)

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was decent, although I wish the weather were a bit cooler by now. Therapy was another deep dive, and we decided that to ease the burden on housemate, I invited my mom to go to the park this week as an outing. She agreed and chose the day (Thursday) so I think things are looking good :) I'm looking forward to it, and it's been years since I've been in her old minivan so it will be a bit of a sentimental journey too ;) It is important that the outings are something I actually want to do and not just tolerate, so they are more motivating and beneficial. More Helping Haven

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have several more gifts to take a look at from the Helping Haven Gateway, all found on the 2nd floor (up 2 flights of stairs) of the Ladies Fashions building of gifts. Everything here is free with no group requirements, and there is also a building with men's fashions and other spots here with assorted gifts and helpful information. It is a perfect landmark to share with new residents, or someone who took a break from SL for a while but is back to a whole new landscape :) There are gifts for classic avatars, but many include sizes that fit mesh bodies, so just about anyone can find something that suits their tastes and current avatar. To find the freebie buildings, just follow the arrows on the signs, and for everything else you can use the teleport board near the landing area.

This beauty is the :::DREAMS::: Libelua Dress which is one of many from this designer, two of which I shared last night :) What can I say, it was hard to resist showing off some more! The richly embroidered butterflies on this halter dress caught my eye, and the style feels like summer but easy to shift into autumn. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies inside this treat.

My pose here is intentionally hiding my breasts, because the sheer portions of this :::DREAMS::: Paola Dress gift do reveal the nips ;) This pretty halter dress is mostly purplish lace with some denim inserts and accents, very flirty and would benefit from adding some pasties for modesty's sake if need be. This gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing.

Another designer with gobs of generous goodies for us is Dark Fairy Fashions, and I chose two of those to display in this look :) The Zen Top @ HH is a gorgeous aqua color, with detached sleeves (in appearance, but not a separately worn piece) and bare shoulders plus lots of flirty ties and bows. It will fit Dragon, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. It paired wonderfully with the DFF Jamie Shorts #6 @ HH gift, a light denim pair of short shorts that are distressed to the point of tatters in the rear. There are sizes for Dragon, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included. The details are amazing, with the tears across each cheek and the way the white string laces the back very loosely then wraps around the waist where a silver cross charm dangles right at belly button level. 

Next I changed into another Dark Fairy Fashions gift, their DFF Terra Corset @ HH. It's got not only a corset but 2 versions of the panties included, all in sizing for eBody, Freya, Kupra, Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The panties version shown is the one with the straps that connect them to the corset both front and back, and the other is without those four straps. It's up to you to decide which look you like better :) I'm always a fan of florals, and the purple coloring of this one made it an instant favorite for me.

For my final look of the night, I combined two more Dark Fairy Fashions gifts. The DFF Minx Torn T @ HH top comes in sizes for Fox, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There are slits on the side and in the front, then the bottom is cropped by large tears that let the bands hang loose and low. The jeans, called DFF Liri Jeans @ HH, are shredded similarly to the shorts from photo 3 but have pant legs attached like legwarmers (80s fashion FTW lol) and I'd say the cheeks are even more visible here. The jeans are provided in eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. 

It was a nice day here, with decent weather and a quick trip to my parents' for dinner. Gluten free lasagna noodles can sometimes develop a really funky texture when the lasagna is baked, hehe, but the flavor was good and we grated some parmesan on it as usual for added oomph :) I will be writing a shopping list later for tomorrow's farmers market, which I enjoy doing because it makes me smile to think of the wonderful people there. Helping Haven Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the wonderful Helping Haven Gateway, where you can find all of these looks and dozens more (hundreds?) for free in the Ladies Fashion building. There are 4 floors packed with generous gifts, and all of these are found on the 2nd floor (they count as ground floor then first then second, so go up 2 flights of stairs) since I randomly wandered up there and was drawn to these in particular :) There are so many things to see and do here, I'd suggest giving this landmark to anyone who is new to SL or returning and in need of some guidance. When you land you'll see a teleport pad to bring you to various areas, but I followed the arrows to the freebie area and enjoyed quite a long scenic walk. Look around, enjoy your stay, and tell a friend! No group tag is required to claim these, just click and pay $0L for the most part. A few have vendors that are set up to pay $1L but it is refunded immediately, but again no group tag needed and there is a sign next to those to explain it.

My first look of the night is the it`s me - Lace Dress 1 gift, one of the gifts from a brand that is unfamiliar to me and doesn't seem to have an inworld store at this time. The dress is designed for the Maitreya body, and includes a HUD with 10 pastel colors to choose from. The lace overlay is such a beautiful look, and I think all the soft hues really suit it. 

Next we have another generous gift from the same designer, our it`s me - Ruffle Dress. This one is also made to fit the Maitreya mesh body, and it too includes a color HUD - 6 bold shades :) I really like halter styles and the slender strap on this gives it a delicate feeling, a fun contrast to the darker or brighter colors.

If you are the casual type like me, and want really cute outfits for times when a ballgown would not suit you (shopping, gridwide hunting, visiting places like amusement parks) then let me show you my new favorite! :::DREAMS::: Avelia Short & Top 1 is one of several gifts from this brand, with a tied top and sporty shorts linked together to be worn as one piece. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies included. The triangle pattern looks great against the wide pink stripes of trim, and the knotted tank top shows off some midriff and our navel without being too revealing.

I also picked up the :::DREAMS::: Ari Shirt & Jeans gift to share, as the weather will be changing soon and jeans are in my fashion forecast :) I love the pink plaid of the shirt, and the way it's tied beneath the mostly unbuttoned opening. There are fitmesh S, M, and L sizes for classic avatars, along with Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes of the shirt. The jeans are undone at the top too with a low rise, and they are provided in 5 fitmesh standard sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There is an alpha layer included for each piece too, suitable for classic avatars or BOM compatible mesh bodies to help ensure a sleek fit.

My final look of the evening is flirty and floral, bursting with roses on the bold pattern. The JFS_GIFT ROSE OUTFIT from J-STORE is designed for Maitreya, with both the dress and boots provided in versions with and without glitter each. The dress seems to have a crotch and that makes me think romper, with intriguing straps and openings just like the peeptoe boots. I'm wearing the glitter version of both here, but sparkles can be hard to see in a still image. Your best bet is to try each on and see which you prefer :) 

My day was full of twists and turns, and not just in the car ;) I had a hard time falling asleep which made me oversleep and get a later start than planned for my outing, but it went fairly decently even if it wasn't the planned route at all. The weather was fine, and we saw more deer but it was too late to see dogs being walked. Oh there were horses at the nearby farm that boards them, so the ones you see and the quantity will vary each time. Gifts for SLMB Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is related to last night's post but not really a continuation, as instead of visiting the SLMB Group event, I decided to visit some of the participating designers' stores and share the group gifts available at each. The SLMB or ^^SL Mesh Body group has a small $9L fee to join, but staying in the group is well worth it as I'm happy to show you :) 

My first visit of the evening was Alma Miranda, where I claimed their lovely Chinese Dress gift. It has a high notched collar, long sleeves, and a fluttery short skirt, all with fantastic pattern of clouds being blown about by gentle winds. The gift includes sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

The August group gift from Delicatt Couture is called Aida mini dress - Gothic texture, and it's giving me early Halloween vibes :) This flirty mini dress has a deeply draped top and plunging back with crossed straps, but the main event seems to be the sheer midriff with cobwebs above silhouettes of spooky trees. There are Altamura, eBody Curvy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes included, as well as a HUD with 8 colors to tint the background and cobwebs. 

I can never seem to resist a well-textured animal print, so the MD Bodysuit "Kenza" - Leo/White GG from Mu-Shi Doll is right up my alley. It fits Freya, Isis, Kupra, Bimbo, Low, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The high collar and built in belt are terrific details, just like that cleavage-baring opening all the way down to the waist!

Next I headed to the W.G STORE where I found their generous Gamora Dress gift for SLMB. Its top is daringly wrapped and the skirt forms a V in the front, while showing off a cheeky rear view :) There are Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that offers 10 color options. 

For my final look of the evening, I visited V8 Underground and their bounty of gifts for many different groups. The treat for SLMB is their **CONSTANCE MANSHUL GREY ROMPER**, a layered one piece outfit in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The main material looks soft like a sweatshirt, with a white tank top adorned with a skull image on the front, and a matching white belt built in that is just below the natural waistline. They've always been so generous, and I appreciate all of their gifts just as I do everyone who offers us free goodies like this.

It was a quiet day which is fine with me :) I've got some exploring to do in SL later, as I am always following leads on gifts and bargains but lately I can only teleport about 4 or 5 times before crashing. That started with the new PBR compatible Firestorm, so I am just gritting my teeth and hoping they figure out how to remedy that quickly. I went from crashing about once a month to multiple times a day, and nothing about my PC or internet connection changed.
