RR Christmas Wonderland

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is full of goodies from the ..::RR::.. Christmas Wonderland event. There are gifts in small hat boxes for $10L or less, and the organizers (RR) have several displays that each have multiple gifts in their own squared boxes with photos attached of the contents. I believe this is their 7th year of this particular event, and I certainly hope to see it continue long into the future :) There's even a daily Advent calendar not far from the landing spot, so they are on my list of places to visit daily this month.

My first look this evening is the beautiful Psyche's Pstyles Calyx Dress Holiday Edition gift, which can be yours for just $1L. High-low hemlines always make me happy, and this strapless dress is decorated with poinsettias for a festive touch. There are sizes for Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies provided.

If you peeked at this photo of our free H.O.P.E. Roxanne Dress gift and noticed hey nice, there are two different colors, I have good news - there are actually four! We have separately packaged black, blue, red, and gold versions, each of which include the dress and matching shoes in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. That is the gold variety on the left and blue on the right, and I genuinely like all of them so these were random picks :) It's hard to resist sequined stripes, intricate neckline straps, and heels that lace all the way up to the knee. That gold has caught my eye as a potential New Year's Eve look, which will be here before we know it.

Starlight Apparel has a cute $1L gift for us, called .{SA}. Regan Outfit Red. The top and skirt are linked to wear all at once, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The color reminds me of somewhere between chili and brick, but softer? I really like the way the bow on the top creates a heart shape for that opening :) In the rear view on the right you can see the tattoo I'm wearing, our free *Moon Bound* Seasons Blessings gift. That is exactly what it says on the left thigh, while the right thigh has a snow globe with pretty red ribbon tied around it. The tattoo is a BOM layer so it should be compatible with most mesh bodies as well as classic avatars.

Next I changed into the adorable SH0098 Ladies Santa snow angel shirt from Angel's Amazing Creations. If I'm recalling correctly this is the store that has free gifts in vendors under their Christmas tree rather than in the red and green hatbox style of the others, one male and one female. Doesn't Santa look like he's having the time of his life here, playing in the snow with those rosy cheeks and huge smile? The long shirt is provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and we can easily layer our favorite pants or leggings beneath. 

My final look of the evening is the ..::RR::.. Christmas Dress Stars GIFT which can be yours for just $1L. The rose gold stars look so lovely against the dark background, and wrap dresses are always a win in my book :) There is a classic M size included as well as sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. 

I went to a Dollar Tree as one of my outings for the week, and it was not the most successful trip as I was planning on getting a birthday card for my godfather (I usually get Uncle cards for him since that's how I've always referred to him and godfather cards are quite rare) but the selection was dreadful. There were only 2 uncle cards and they were just blah, hard to explain but definitely not my taste or his. Otherwise the car ride was challenging but I made it, hehe, and the weather was chilly but clear. I hope you're all having a nice day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Group Gifts from Melody

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are headed to Melody, a store whose group is temporarily free to join because of their Advent calendar. This means you'll definitely want to visit before Christmas eve, and perhaps on a daily basis for those gifts each day :) However what I am sharing is a sampling of their wonderful group gifts, upstairs with some lucky boards that are also benefits of the group's membership so you need that tag active to win. I wasn't having much luck earlier with my initial, but I will certainly be back and that just means all of my looks tonight are focused on those group gifts. I do appreciate that they are versatile as well as flirty, and that is how I would describe this brand's overall style.

My first look is the playful Melody Issah// fatpack group gift. This lovely dress has a bold opening on the bodice that is strung loosely with a single strand that forms a halter neck, and the short skirt has a high slit on the left side. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 20 colors each for the top, skirt, and strap portions of the dress. 

Our MELODY FIAMA FATPACK is a sassy little shorts set with slim suspenders that I am definitely wearing all year round :) The top and shorts each fit Kalhene, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the gift includes two HUDs. The solids and patterns HUDs each have 20 choices apiece for the top, shorts, and braces, so we get to mix and match by using either or both of these HUDs. 

I get a kick out of how the Melody Nathalie// fatpack dress almost looks like two totally different styles depending on which side you look at :) We get the single long sleeve on the right, then the left has a bare shoulder and two wide openings on the ribs so it shows off plenty of skin. There are sizes for Classic, Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 20 solid colors and 20 flower patterns to choose from. Who can resist sweet little white daisies on your choice of so many color backdrops? Obviously not me ;) 

The MELODY NOELA GROUP GIFT DECEMBER definitely has some terrific seasonal patterns, rare and noteworthy for being such a revealing little outfit :) We receive the tank top and high waisted panties in Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing, plus the handy HUD with 12 selections each for top, panties, and bows. The solid color buttons for the top have the Christmas tree with Happy Holidays beneath it as seen on the left above, and do I even need to say how much I adore the penguins on the right? Yes please, bring on the cute!

The final group gift I'm sharing this evening is the Melody Maio // FATPACK. I love the puffy layered sleeves on this dress, and bare shoulders always seem to catch my attention. This treat includes Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizing, with a HUD that offers 20 solid colors and 20 prints. The various colored butterflies really caught my eye among those patterns, but there are plenty of others that are lovely and suit any mood or tastes. I can think of dozens of pairs of shoes in my inventory that I'd enjoy pairing with this dress, not to mention all the great jewelry I've accumulated over the years in SL with hunting and group gifts and such :) 

Quick Advent note - I know each year I've been trying to do morning Advent blogs occasionally during December, and so far this week I don't see a way to do that and get my therapy homework, a.k.a. outings, accomplished too. It's hard to say when it will work out for me, but I really hope to squeeze some in since I truly enjoy sharing the many generous gifts we can find in SL this time of year for a limited time such as one single day. Meanwhile I suggest peeking at the FabFree Advent listing, which seems very thorough and frequently updated. There are so many stores taking part to help bring us into the holiday season and I am very grateful to every single one of them!

It was a quiet day at home here, and I reached out to a friend that I hadn't heard from much lately to see what she's up to. She is doing well, and had Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house so I am relieved that she wasn't alone for it. I'd have invited her to mine but she lives a few hours away now, and it wouldn't be very convenient for her unfortunately. She's been widowed almost 4 years now, which has to make the holidays more difficult, so I just really felt an overwhelming urge to check in on her. Not that I thought something was wrong, just missing her and needing to connect for my own sake too. Many times lately because of my anxiety and depression I've been more of the "eww, people" mentality, lol, but deep inside my need for friendship is still stronger :) I hope you're all having a beautiful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Off-Line December Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we welcome December with the "Off-Line" group gifts for the month, which is one of three rows that are each a different month's offerings for their free group. I've already shared October's and November's, and I would say that the December batch is a little extra spicy to liven up a chilly month :) There are so many wonderful colors of each item, as they are all fatpacks with plenty of hues to choose from. It makes me excited to see what 2025 will hold, but for now let's get through a busy December ;)

My first look of the evening is our "Off-Line" x "Aubrey" Set / Fatpack group gift. There are unpacking HUDs for BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, each holding the top and skirt in several colors. Those would include black, blue, cobalt, lime, nude, olive, orange, pink, purple, red, and wine. I'm wearing the cobalt top and lime skirt on the left, with olive and wine as the top and skirt to the right. That lime is nearly fluorescent, so bright and eye-catching! The wine skirt almost has a leathery look to it that I quite enjoy.

Chilly times of year call for tropical vacations, much easier to accomplish in SL of course and calling for the perfect swimwear. For this I suggest our group gift called "Off-Line" x "Sammy" Metallic Bikini / Fatpack, with its unique top and thong that hide just the bare essentials while showing off lots of flirty areas ;) The BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya HUDs each contain both pieces in black, blue, lilac, limon, nude, orange, pink, and silver. I'm wearing lilac top and thong to the left, and decided to pair the limon top with our silver thong on the right. Skimpy and playful for that adult vacation, or maybe you have a hot tub in your home to wear it in.

Knit textures really appeal to me this time of year especially, so the "Off-Line" x "Elaine" Knit Skintight / Fatpack earned extra points in my heart for looking so cozy. The bare shoulders (and almost bare booty) are delightful touches, and I really need to find the right floaty skirt to layer over this :) It fits Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with each provided in black, bone, brown, damask, fuchsia, geranium, grey, indigo, maroon, papaya (left above), pear, pearwood, pigeon, rose, royal, sage (right), spring, steel, teal, violet, and white. I loved seeing all the floral color names in there, even if I went rather autumnal instead :)

Next I changed into the "Off-Line" x "Envy" Set / Fatpack group gift. The top comes in solid and sheer versions, both in the same great style with a band of fabric across the front and several slender straps in the back. The tops and shiny pants are all provided in sizing for BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Each size's HUD holds black, grey, lemon, nude, passion, periwinkle, salmon, tangerine and white, so we can mix and match to our heart's content. I went with the solid passion top and white pants at first, then on the right went completely periwinkle. The top is the sheer one on the right, but the straps are the same as you can see. No nip slip here this time ;) 

For my final look of the evening, I am sharing another bodysuit which is called "Off-Line" x "Aria" Bodysuit / Fatpack. There are Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes in the various unpacker HUDs, and the bodysuit has a strap hanging from the right sleeve with the brand name emblazoned on it. he top says "I'm Fine" then a curved "I want to die" beneath, a sentiment I am not claiming to share so please don't jump to any conclusions :) As usual we have lots of great colors - black, brown, buttercream, cantaloupe, cobalt, grey, hot pink, lavender, lemon, lime, marzipan, nude, passion, periwinkle, pistachio, rose, salmon, spring, taffy, tangerine, thistle, turquoise, and white. If you're wondering which I am showing off, that would be rose on the left and turquoise on the right :) All have a camo print that looks great in any coloring.

Whew, what a weekend...my second Thanksgiving celebration was supposed to have 3 additional people from the Thursday with just my parents, but 2 of the 3 canceled at the last minute (morning of) because of an earache. Many doubts were expressed as to it being an excuse, but I do remember him having lots of ear infections as a kid and he had tubes put in his ears when he was little. I've also experienced two ER visits in the middle of the night as an adult (in my 20s) due to my own ear pain, both severe infections, so I didn't even think of it being untrue. We still enjoyed ourselves, good food and good company :) I just have this fear that the holidays my family enjoyed for so long are all history, without my grandma I think the others are giving up on them. As you can tell, that breaks my heart into a billion pieces, and it's literally the only time I see my cousins or have any contact with them really so it feels like I'm losing them. I cried during therapy over all this, and now the houseguest has gone home so I feel really low. Let's switch gears though, to Advent! Can we believe it's time for the SL Advent calendars already? Holy moly I was a busy bee this morning, and I know there are probably dozens of updates to any lists out there so I'll be even more frantic when midnight SL time rolls around.
