MGSN Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is filled with goodies for the MGSN group, which stands for Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News. That doesn't mean that all of the gifts are only for the Maitreya body, but they should all offer that size at a minimum :) I usually just explore the stores who've sent group notices recently, but I also still had a copy of the notecard from their Xmas gift train and used that to help me find some treats for us. At least we know those brands are part of the group, so it was worth a try :) The group is currently free to join, so this post should be very easy on your wallet and your eyes.

Our first gift of the evening is the {Poeme} Wintry Florals Sweater Dress, which is labeled for winter/spring 2026 and I agree with both seasons. Florals always make me smile, and many associate them specifically with spring. The colors lean winter I think, but the bare arms say spring unless we layer a fun bolero over it. This lovely tube dress comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Anyone else get 70s vibes from our Salesita's Creations gift 5 Dress Elena treat? Maybe it's the fringe, or the rich embossed fabric with large flowers, but for me this feels like a modern take on retro fashion :) We receive Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Okay, so I just realized I've accidentally got a floral theme going here...it really was unintentional, yet I am rather happy about it :) The Graffitiwear Sash Dress should bring some joy to you too, as it is so very flirty and feminine. There are sizes for eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with 3 flowery textures. The way the front is draped and crossed upwards to meet at the neck in a halter style is simply gorgeous, and all essentials will be covered if you add your favorite panties beneath. I also think it'll show off a back tattoo perfectly!

Moving on from the floral portion of the evening, LOL, we take a gander at our [ZEX] Dakota sexy dress * Pink group gift. Pink is one of those colors that can really range from sweetly innocent to hot and spicy, and I think the name of this dress is an accurate assessment :) Our slightly sheer dress and matching thong panties are each provided in Erika, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizing. Spaghetti straps are so flattering, and the ruffled hem lifts up in the rear to show a flash of bum in such a cheeky way.

My final look of the night is our generous gift from Enigma Apparel called [EN] Ully Set. The versatile dress and heels each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 15 colors each for dress and trim, plus 2 metals and 2 colors for the heels. I had entirely too much fun playing with the HUD and trying out various color combos, which is not a bad thing by any means :) 

Quick hair note of the night: this weekend's new release at Truth Hair was his delightful collab with his RL daughter, called Daydream. Such a playful twisted updo with a scrunchie woven in there, and there are loose ends to add an extra casual touch that made it a "shut up and take my lindens" situation for me ;) Of course I spent extra time tonight changing the scrunchie color (via HUD) but in the future I might just choose one neutral color and stick with it. I'm not sure how long the Saturday Sale pricing lasts, so hurry over if you haven't been there yet!

The support group meeting this evening was productive, but it ran a little late so I feel slow now. The best part was someone's new kitten who decided to hang out on their laptop, so in front of the camera, causing all of us to be like "oooo kitty ♥" randomly. When asked about goals for the upcoming 2 weeks between sessions, someone else joked they would be getting a cat now. Palomma Plaza Pretties

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Palomma Plaza, which is loaded with free group gifts from many generous designers. If you recall The Free Dove, this is in the same spot and is in honor of Palomma "Dove" Casanova who operate The Free Dove for many years until her passing in 2023. The group here is free to join and give you a "Doves Angel" group tag, allowing you to claim an impressive number of gifts for just about everyone - men's and women's fashion, accessories, skins, hair, shapes, and more. My link will give you a red arrow to the spot between 3 displays of gifts that I'm sharing tonight, but I strongly encourage taking a peek around everywhere here :) I did a lot of mixing and matching among the brands, as you'll see, and am so glad I visited as always. Stay tuned as I believe their Doves Dreams event will be coming this month as well, with sales and gifts I will be glad to share.

First up, I start with the MAYHEM - SOFIE TOP FATPACK with its fun wrapped and crossed straps. This treat includes sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 16 patterns and the ability to tint them. As for the bottom, well I found 2 coordinating gifts on a neighboring display :) The ExeCute // Ava Mini Skirt is so flirty, barely more than a tiny ruffle and waistband, that fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers 17 colors apiece for skirt and waist. Because it's so brief, I appreciated being able to layer the ExeCute // Ava Thong Pink beneath. Conveniently, our pretty pink thong comes in the same sizes as the skirt, and the same name Ava being used made me think of combining them.

I came up with another pairing from these gifts too, and as always let's start from the top ;) That would be the Mayhem - YASHA HALTER FATPACK, a stunning top with high neck and bare shoulders that is carefully laced down the front just loosely enough to show off little flashes of skin. It fits Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD that has 11 color choices each for the shirt and laces. I will note that this seemed to have a demo script inside, so after 5 minutes the HUD self-destructed on me ;) I unpacked a new copy and was able to use that however, and once you have the color you wish, you don't necessarily even need the HUD. It goes great with our ExeCute // Kudo Leggins gift, which are provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. It too has a HUD, so we can choose from an impressive 42 colors each for the pants and the straps in the back. I really love all that crisscrossing back there!

Many times I feel like bodysuits in SL can also be worn as swimsuits or vice versa, and the ExeCute // Rose Bodysuit Fatpack gift is a perfect example of that :) The style is delightful, with gathering and a floral top with solid colored lower portion. As a matter of fact, we get to select from 10 textures that will match the neckline to the bottom, thanks to the enclosed HUD. There are sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included.

Next I slipped into the lovely MAYHEM Melody Dress Solids FATPACK gift. That lacing is just so eye-catching, and the playful little openings sure do tantalize us. We receive Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes of this beauty, along with a HUD offering 20 fun colors to tint the dress. The fabric has a soft satiny sheen to it, just another fantastic detail that I couldn't help from mentioning.

My final look combines two more gifts, this time from the same brand and possibly meant to go together. The [ARTi'S] Darlene Top is a fun tank with spaghetti straps, lace neckline trim, and a notch in the back where it is ever so slightly unbuttoned. It fits Erika, Erika Petite, Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, Rebirth, Rebirth Petite, Reborn, Smol, Waifu, Senra Jamie, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. Whew! The menu to unpack which size you want is a few pages long, and it's no wonder :) As for our [ARTi'S] Fluffy Skirt gift, the lacing on the sides is an intriguing detail just like the lightly furry texture that makes me want to touch it. We receive plenty of sizes here too - Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Prima, Rebirth, Reborn, Senra Jamie, and Tonic bodies. That is pretty much the same set but without the bust mods that do not affect below the waist sizing :) Just because I'm wearing these together here doesn't mean that we can't easily pair either of these with anything else in our wardrobes, or something new you find right here at Palomma Plaza. 

It's been a busy type of weekend, and that is not really good or bad; I'll go with calling it a mixture. The farmers market was quiet but fun, not many vendors but I adore the ones who were there :) The featured lunch vendor was very slow because of a malfunctioning grill, which isn't their fault but probably caused stress for themselves and others. The weather was decent at least. This afternoon we caught a mouse in my office here, isn't that fun...I'd been hearing chewing again, and learned my lesson earlier in the week not to scold it, LOL. This one is now happily released safely elsewhere, in a wooded area where it can probably find some friends and hopefully not try to return. Third Life Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I realized it had been quite a while since I'd shared any gifts for the Third Life group, and it's only $10L to join so it just felt like a good idea to remind people about it :) The group notices are plentiful, so be sure to read through and see what new releases and special offers you can find out about. I've been a member for ages now, and have appreciated that fact more times than I can even count.

My first stop was Grumble, partly because I'd tried to visit a few times recently and the store/region was inaccessible. I was concerned and really wanted to make sure everything was okay, and it sure seems to be :) Their Be my Fantasy dress-skulls gift for Third Life is a stunning and flirty minidress, with asymmetrical hem and neckline. The vibrant colors in the pattern really pop against the black background, something I do associate with this brand. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes provided.

The ABBY SET by BA Store GIFT is found at Black Angel, with all their other generous groups' gifts. The picture on the wall does not match, so you'll want to look for the Third Life group sign and click below it. As we head towards warmer weather (I hope!) we'll find even more use soon for the bikini top and panties you see here :) Each will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I adore the color and the shine of the material!

Across the shopping area is Blackbird Lace, where you can pick up their Denisa Dress gift. It is a real showstopper with that sheer golden fabric, decorated with flowers and trimmed in solid gold. I must note that the white flower on the crotch is something I had to add in Photoshop after the fact, and not actually on the dress at all :) I hadn't realized while taking the picture that it was that sheer, lol, but of course I'd noticed that bum cleavage in the rear ;) Open this gift and you will find standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. 

This fantastic gift is the Nala Design - Coren Outfit. Its gorgeous ruffled halter top, tight miniskirt, and strappy sandals are all included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD that offers 9 colors apiece for the top, skirt, strings, and shoes. I love the ability to mix and match, so you know this is right up my alley.

For my final look tonight, I changed into the ZINDA 3pc Outfit White by COVETED! since I think it's a sweetly sexy way to wrap up the post. The crossed halter top, lace-edged miniskirt are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with matching sandals designed for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn feet. The bust has little cutouts and a pink design, so most of what you're seeing there is not me, LOL, but you might want to wear pasties beneath if the openings are a concern. I don't say that to shame anyone who doesn't care about wearing pasties, but I did want to mention it in case you would otherwise wear it to a G-rated destination. We all know that SL fashion leans towards the revealing side :)

I feel like I'm trying to do entirely too many things at once, which is fairly typical lately. Dinner with my parents was nice, and I am eager for the farmers market tomorrow morning where I'll probably also see them. I keep thinking I have something Sunday that is actually Monday, and I'm still amazed that March is almost here ;) Time sure does fly lately. The new month means hunts, events, and all sorts of SL excitement, so that is a positive thing. I'm pretty sure there is a round of the Twisted hunt in March for example. Happy Anniversary to The Fifty

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're celebrating the 4th anniversary of The Fifty event, same brand that brings us Fifty Linden Fridays each week :) If you've ever gotten a fantastic deal towards the end of the week, they are probably responsible for that. This event is all in one spot, unlike the FLF sales list that brings us to mainstores, and when you visit this event you'll notice little cardboard boxes at most of the displays. Those are our group gifts, and the Fifty Linden Fridays group is currently free to join so these are as budget-friendly as can be :) Of course there are also terrific discounted sales offerings to enjoy, so we don't want to leave our wallets at home entirely.

This sweet and sassy dress is our -Pixicat- Alana Dress - Skull gift. The squared neckline is trimmed in lace with a bow in the front center, and the full sleeves look great with the flared skirt :) We receive Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD offering 30 colors for the bow, 2 for the lace, and the option to show/hide the trim. I really like it with the white lace to bring out the skulls from the pattern, and the bow has so many choices that you really can't go wrong with any of them.

I am also grateful for the #11 Apple Blossom - Lilian Dress gift, in a spicy mustard yellow shade that will easily turn heads. It fits Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with one spaghetti strap dangling down the left arm while the rest of the dress hugs the body tightly but not overly so. 

Next we are focusing on some new body art, which is our Imperia collarbone bats tatt gift. The more I read about bats, the more intrigued I am and the more I like them :) As for the gift, it includes 3 BOM layers - faded, fresh, and worn. This is the fresh I am wearing here, in hopes that it photographs the most clearly, but they look terrific in any of the opacities provided.

I paused for a moment before taking this photo, wondering if the word on the front of our Nectarine - Raglan Tee [SOUP] gift has a deeper meaning that I am not aware of. Since I never figured it out, I'm just going to say that it made me smile simply because I love comfort foods and it is still absolutely soup weather here :) This fun cropped tee comes in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. I think it looks really cute with the Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack gift, but also could see it with shorts in the warmer weather.

My final look of the night is our ELEVEN - Seyran Top [GIFT] in black, with both straps over the right shoulder for a very creative look. There are Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. I accessorized with the MICHAN - Star Necklace GIFT which you can see a closer view of in the upper right inset, a brief gold chain with delicate stars to add a little sparkle. This beauty comes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies.

I am slow tonight because my gaming evening with friends ran a little later than anticipated, so I'll just say that I had a great time as always and am eager to visit my parents' for dinner tomorrow. My outing yesterday was bittersweet, as I visited a shop that is closing on Saturday and I am always saddened to see a small business go under for financial reasons when they have tried so hard to keep it afloat and make their customers happy. Telsiope's Couture Outlet

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring some outlet bargains from Nut & Squirrel, formerly known as Telsiope's Couture. Their former name is the one you'll find on all their $10L packages there, which include 18 pieces of the corresponding mesh body size that you select. I'm sharing some of the Maitreya #6 pack, so all the fashions you see in this post and several more can be yours for just $10L. There are over two dozen waiting for just the Maitreya body, and other bodies are represented too so I suggest taking a peek no matter what body you usually wear :) This is not their mainstore location but a separate spot by the way, in a different region.

We start with the Telsiope's Couture Hanna Top Maitreya and matching Telsiope's Couture Hanna Skirt Maitreya. The wrap skirt goes beautifully with the bare shouldered top, decorated with lovely lace and tied up the back. They are in the same beautiful shade of blue, but I would still enjoy pairing either with other items in my inventory.

The beautiful Telsiope's Couture Fay Maitreya dress made me feel like I was diving into spring a little early :) That floral pattern brings instant smiles, and I really like the maroon ruffles that bring out the colors of the flowers even more. 

Next I changed into the Telsiope's Couture Gloria Maitreya dress, with its playful pattern in lots of bright colors. I'm always a fan of a halter neckline, and this dress has a bit of corset lacing in the back for added visual appeal. 

I also get royal or medieval with the Telsiope's Couture Honey Maitreya and their Honey Tiara. The full length gown has a deep V neckline and attached golden belt, looking elegant with the bare shoulders. I was excited to add the tiara since I don't normally wear many headpieces, but this one fit beautifully. The dress looks just as stunning without the tiara of course :) 

My final look of the night is another pairing, the cozy Telsiope's Couture Eveline Maitreya and their Eveline Jeans in the same size. The turtleneck's color looks a lot like the gown from the prior photo, doesn't it? Our jeans have a snug fit with a little distressed tear on the left thigh, such a fun style that will go with many favorite shirts I already have that just need the right pants. 

My day was okay, nothing too special, but fortunately no more mouse sightings so I am a little less nervous about that. Instead I get to be nervous about an outing tomorrow, lol, which is a surprise because the way things were going this week I wasn't sure we would have time for that. The coffee and tea shop I'm going to is closing permanently on Saturday, which is a bummer but I definitely wanted to get there one last time before that happens. Fitmesh Fanatics

 Hiya everyone! Tonight felt like a good time to explore and find some Fitmesh Fanatics group gifts to share. The group is free to join, and there are lots of quality designers who participate by sending notices to inform us about sales and special offers. They can also choose to offer gifts for the Fitmesh Fanatics group, as you're about to see :) It's always an adventure to scout out the stores and track down the gifts, as I get to see all the new releases and any remodeling or anything that the designers have done. Then I get to see how generous they are, which always warms my heart.

We're starting at Delicatt Couture, where the Olivia mini dress V2 is our group gift for February. They do seem to change them as soon as the new month arrives, so I'm going to suggest you hurry here :) The strapless dress is decorated with silver studs and a glowy floral pattern, in 11 colors via HUD. We receive Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. 

I also picked up the flirty ::KF:: Ariel DressPantie gift from KyaraFashion. The dress has built in panties and comes in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. Not only does it have a daring low neckline and bright gold zipper down the front, but it also has an "undress me" script so you can choose who you want to be able to take off the dress and leave just the wisp of panties behind :) The last time I clicked someone who was wearing something scripted like that was a complete accident, both of us trying to sit in the same lucky chair at once, and I would up slapping her boobs, LOL! I was probably more surprised than she was. Be sure to set the permissions before you head out in public to prevent accidentally stripping.

This gorgeous dress is our TOG STORE . Alky Set gift, which is a real head-turner with that bare midriff and extra short skirt. We get to choose from 10 fun patterns too, for the main dress and the sleeves separately if we wish, thanks to the enclosed HUD. The dress is designed for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I try not to choose favorites, but that playful kitty print on the right is simply the cutest thing I've seen all day :)

Next we check out the Bens Beauty - Taia Set which is one of several gifts on the same wall; just look for the Fitmesh Fanatics hovertext above it :) The set consists of the top and skirt in sizing for Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, plus a handy HUD. The HUD offers 30 colors and 10 metals each for the top and the skirt, so there is plenty of potential for variety here. I love the way the straps have a little gap from each of the pieces, for an extra flirty flash of flesh. 

My final look of the evening from Suna Designs is their S-Linda silver dress, which I think is a very flattering style and color that will add some shimmer to any time of year. There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. I'm trying to decide my favorite feature, and I'm leaning towards that playful bow on the halter neck with the tails dangling down the back. While you're upstairs to get this gift, be sure to look for other groups you may already be a member of for other terrific treats :)

Oh my goodness, my morning was something else! I had just finished taking these photos and notes, and was going to be headed downstairs for breakfast soon when I heard noise right behind my chair. It sounded like chewing, and I had been suspecting tiny rodents were visiting again, so I turned around and firmly said "stop chewing!" like I do when my parents' birds start chomping on something they shouldn't. Well I wasn't expecting to actually get a response, LOL, but a little mouse got offended and ran away across the room! You know I screamed a little, one of those startled gasp screams, and lost track of it but think it went behind a bin near the heating register. I didn't stick around long, grabbed a few essentials and fled to my bedroom to calm down. Couldn't bring myself to even check the room until tonight, and am relieved not to see anything amiss and the old humane trap near where it headed is still empty. We got lots of snow and the driveway is not plowed yet, but they should be here to take care of that in about 6 hours. Once the housemate will be able to drive to the park for releasing any critters, we will re-bait some traps and see what happens. Is it weird that I noticed it was a much darker color than the ones we've caught before? They were medium brown, this looked dark almost black but the same size. I have no idea if that is significant or not, lol, and not sure I want to try to find out. At least the power stayed on *knock on wood* and no harm was done.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Beautiful Dirty Rich store, a longtime beloved brand in SL who are very generous to their free group's members. There is a "16" birthday balloon near the gifts, which gives you an idea of their longevity. It has been a while since I showed you any of their group gifts, so it is an absolute pleasure to do so tonight :)

The evening's first look is our ...:::Beautiful Dirty Rich:::... Sparkly Night Dress gift. What a dazzling mini dress, with fun fringe on the bodice! I changed my mind at least 5 times trying to choose which 2 of the 12 colors to show you from its HUD, although there really are no wrong answers :) This treat includes standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. 

Okay, so I admit that the RL blizzard helped inspire this look...heaven knows I am bundled up right now much more like this ;) The ...:::Beautiful Dirty Rich:::... Stay Cozy-Turtleneck Sweater gift includes bonus black jeans as well as the sweater, both in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There's a HUD for our sweater too, with 20 textures (mix of solids and ombres) and the ability to tint it so your look is very customizable. I really like the way the sweater appears tucked into the waistband on the left side, a sassy little touch that adds flair.

I kept those handy jeans on to show you another top, the ...:::Beautiful Dirty Rich:::... Nicki-Sweater & Tank Top gift. They are separate pieces so you can wear either or both together as I have, in sizes for Erika, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD has 20 color choices for each piece, and style buttons for the tank top to be sheer, sharp, or solid. I'm wearing it sheer on the left if that helps, which opens up the knit or weave a little.

Another top that caught my attention (blame the RL weather) is our ...:::Beautiful Dirty Rich:::... Leah -Sweater- group gift. The bold shoulders almost gave me 80s flashbacks, lol, but the cropped hem is a much more modern touch :) There are Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Hourglass Petite mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD offering 30 terrific colors. I'm always drawn to the intricacy of knit textures, as both grandmothers either knitted or crocheted and my mom used to crochet quite a bit. It gives an extra appreciation for the work that goes into it, and finding the right ones for SL is a challenge that this designer has done a fantastic job with.

My final look of the night has a secret - it is technically Halloween themed ;) Is that going to prevent many of you from wearing it whenever you darn well please? I certainly hope not, and especially since the HUD lets you adjust it to not even have any season-specific textures. The ...:::Beautiful Dirty Rich:::... Lillith -Dress- is a fashionable mini dress with cap sleeves and attached belt, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It's also got a HUD of course, with 10 choices each (5 solid colors and 5 Halloween prints) for the top, laces, skirt, and belt. Mixing things up is always fun, and the bats can also be replaced by carved pumpkins and the like. Of course, solids are timeless if that's your goal :)

Whew, this snowstorm has changed its path to really dump some crap onto my area! Last night the prediction was 6", but the current prediction (it's been snowing for several hours at this point) is a total of 18". I am technically prepared with essentials like food and medication, but I am concerned about things like the strong possibility of losing power and having the generator too cold to function. Otherwise my weekend was pretty good, like the farmers market where I got to chat with a few of my favorite vendors and even picked up a special request I'd made from a crochet artist. My dad was able to go but felt a little shaky, so he held onto my arm while my mom paid for the food they were getting; otherwise they were holding hands while walking the whole time and looking adorable :) I'm getting a little choked up watching the replay of the Olympics hockey finals, and as an NHL fan I've got deep respect for many players on both teams. True Blue SL

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some wonderful group gifts from the BLUE SL Event, whose current round just opened a couple of days ago and lasts until the 8th of March. The items aren't all blue by the way, so you will find lots of fashions and home decor in all sorts of hues and styles that may fit your tastes. I usually use a song title with 'blue' in it for their posts, and it looks like I somehow never used Madonna's True Blue which is surprising because her music was a big part of my teenage fashion and music styling :) I'm always so happy when I visit this event, since I get to see longtime favorite brands as well as some new ones each time to help keep things fresh.

Coincidentally I am starting with a touch of blue though, one of many choices for our Nut & Squirrel Patrizia gift. That is because we receive a HUD with 40 textures which are a mix of solids and patterns, then a second Color HUD lets us tint the background in our choice of 40 hues. I gave the one on the right above a peachy tint, and can switch it back to original by choosing the white color on that HUD. This flirty dress comes in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

This fantastic outfit is the Tami Fuzzy Sweater Set Pink gift from Allure Couture. Its sweater, skirt, panties, and boots + socks are all provided in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, and is leaning purple in my lighting. Since pink and purple are both my favorite colors, I am thrilled either way :) There is something so playful about the combo of a miniskirt and socks that go all the way up to mid-thigh, like we're showing just enough skin to turn heads but still appropriate for most audiences.

Time to change tops, which worked out really well since the Uni-qu3 ::*Jacquelin Top*::8 gift is in the same color family. It fits Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. As for details, it's loaded with them - tiny spikes around the high neckline, pink patterned inset, sexy crop length, and the rear view was a surprise when I turned and saw that most of the back is bare :) That lighter pink fabric makes a small appearance there too.

I might be channeling Madonna's Erotica era here instead of True Blue, LOL, as that was the timeframe of her Sex book ;) This revealing treat is our [Myzah] BlueEvent Gift - Fishnet Dress and Thong, pretty much living up to the name in flirty fashion. The sheer dress is dotted with small hearts, and both dress and solid black panties are included in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Please don't ask me to lower my arms just yet though, or it'll be a peep show!

Intriguingly, the @rOrO Layla Jacket Pink & Teal gift has been designed to be a little looser fitting so that it can be layered over other clothing (like this dress). Isn't it such a captivating color combo? The animal print just might make you want to purr ;) There are Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh body sizes included, as well as an alpha layer that came in handy for my arms. Please note - the contents are No Copy so you will need to manually unpack (rez out at home or a sandbox, right click and open) to get all the goodies inside. We cannot copy items into our inventory without the permission to copy them, and that is technically what unpacking does, so it's a common SL issue since unpacking HUDs are so popular yet not everything they hold always has the right settings to be copied. No shade, no complaints, just want to ensure that you don't miss out :) Nobody deserves to open a folder and find just a landmark inside when they're expecting something this special in addition.

I seem to be having an anxious kind of weekend, which is not entirely unusual but not pleasant either. Dinner with my parents was nice, and my dad is doing pretty well after the procedure other than one day of tiredness and a bit of a sore throat from the intubation for anesthesia. Neither of those are unexpected or anything concerning, and his doctors are all top notch so that is a relief. Tomorrow morning is the farmers market, and that seems to be causing me to feel a little nervous since I was out of the habit of going for a while there. Also there's a snowstorm headed my way Sunday, so I am keeping a wary eye on the weather forecasts. That is the day of my next therapy session, lol, so I'm afraid I am going to babble about all of this ;) Oh fun, Material Girl just started playing, so I am surrounded by Madonna tonight apparently!
