Black Friday with Redeux

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got another Black Friday sales event to tell you about, this time from Redeux :) They've got lots of discounted offers from hot designers, with group gifts for the free-to-join Redeux VIP group at just about every display. I remembered going last year and was eager for them to notify us about this year's opening, and we have until the 3rd of December to stop by so this is a quickie of an offer.

My first look of the evening is our Fatal Fashion - Outfit 377 - LILAC gift. It consists of the layered tank top, skirt with panties built in, and strappy shoes all in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, plus BOM lace stockings and 3 bracelets for each wrist. These can be worn all together as U have on the right, or individually like I did on the left wrist. They are shiny silver and easily adjustable. 

I slipped into my favorite comfy jeans (Delizio, marketplace gift) to show off some tops, starting with our zOOm - Christmas Day Sweater GIFT V2. This comfy looking cardigan comes in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, with V neck just deep enough to show off some cleavage while keeping the rest of our body warm and snug :) The gingerbread cookies design is sure to help ease you into the holiday season in a delicious way.

The ILL/OB Enio top is a fun choice for any time of year, in simple black with three straps including the wider one on the right that has slipped down our arm. There are sizes for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies provided.

Next I'm happy to share two gifts from the same designer but from different displays :) The Faida - Cookie cute flowers tube top has a tiny floral pattern in several colors on a white background, just wide enough to cover the essentials. It fits Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Prima Busty, and Reborn bodies. On the right you can see our Faida - Angie purple flowers gift, a sweet tank with purple ruffles decorating the neckline. This treat includes sizing for Cinnamon Chai, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Flat, and Tonic Mini mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is our VW + Faida - Naevia Rose gift, which is a collaboration between Velvet Whip and Faida. This single shouldered toga type dress is trimmed in shadows of leaves and branches. We receive Legacy and Maitreya sizes of this charming gift. The playful handkerchief hem is certainly a fun touch, don't you think?

I hope everyone who celebrated had a nice Thanksgiving :) My mini version with just my parents was nice, and we're getting ready for the main event tomorrow with my cousins and a dear family friend who is here now for the weekend. I've got a busy weekend ahead because of it, but mostly should be very enjoyable so I am not complaining in the least. It is a bit odd having two versions of the same holiday two days apart, and I will still be missing the people who can't be there along with it being the first big holiday without my grandma. Life gets intense sometimes, but I am thankful for the people in my life who are supportive and helpful in these times. EBP Black Friday Bazaar

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the EBP Black Friday Bazaar 7, where the tag from the Evil Bunny Hunts group will let you claim lots of generous gifts :) Of course there is the usual array of discounted sales selections for us to peruse, and I have been enjoying lots of careful retail therapy to treat myself during this stressful season. Come on down, save some lindens, and grab these gifts before December 3rd!

My first look of the evening is the gorgeous Wai Kahurangi Dress Three gift from JR Wolf Creations. The pattern of iridescent jellyfish on a deep blue background is so lovely, with flirty black lace insets and hemline trim to add a lil something extra ;) The gift includes sizes for Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, so just for this photo I'm in the Lara X body instead of the Maitreya 5.3 of the next four images.

If you need something sexy to liven up your holiday nights, I'd love to suggest the [Pixel Doll] Hazel Lingerie Set 02 - Extra 02 gift! This strappy bodysuit has heart shaped pasties and lots of sheer ruffles, in sizes for Erika, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. It has its name written across the front in fun bright blue script, such a good reminder when life gets a bit intense :) I'm all too aware that the holidays are not easy for everyone, but I believe in every single one of you that you can make each day better than expected. I'm taking tomorrow evening off from blogging because of the Thanksgiving holiday (part one for me), and I usually take this opportunity to focus on reasons why I am grateful. This year has been a rough one for me for many reasons (health, losing my grandmother) but I still deep down believe that there is always something in this life to be thankful for. I've got Xan, friends and family, a new baby cousin, and the basics of a roof over my head and food in my belly. Mesh Body Friends Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a mini tour of several stores who participate in the Mesh Body Friends group, so I can tell you all about the gifts they're offering. The group is currently free to join, and I am a longtime fan and group member as you probably know :) Any of these gifts can be swapped out for new ones at any given time, so my suggestion as always is to hurry if you just can't live without something you see here. Of course, there's a good chance that you will adore the replacement just as much, but why take the chance? It is always worth visiting any of these stores, and I'm happy to provide your excuse to have a reason to stop by.

Our first stop is SPICY GIRL, for their fantastic *SG* MYUKA DRESS gift. This sweet little number has an attached belt and a layered skirt, in sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Classic Dainty, Belleza Curvy, Belleza Curvy Dainty, Erika, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm loving the halter neck, tied with charming bow that dangles down our upper back. 

The gift from .:AMUI:. is their lovely "Lauren" Dress - 011, with a collared halter top in a floral pattern with the same deep blue as the solid skirt color. This is going to look right at home any time of year, even if my first thought on flowers is usually spring :) The gift includes Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and I used the alpha feature of my Maitreya HUD since a bit of my booty was trying to poke through. Sometimes these bodies just cannot be contained, LOL!

Next we get to show off in the V-Twins - Viper Outfit, a gift that makes me feel absolutely fierce! The dress, sleeves, panties, and boots are all provided in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD that has all sorts of handy tabs. There are 12 colors each for the dress, sleeves, panties, boots up, and boots down (the sole/heel), and 3 metals for the dress and panties. Clearly I had a lot of fun playing with the HUD, and can you blame me? Sexy!

I do appreciate denim in any form, so the miniskirt certainly caught my eye, and the sandals are mid height with chunky heels that suit the outfit really well. We can always count on this brand for their generosity, and I'm eager to see what they have planned for December.

Sugar and Spice

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some group gifts to share from Sugar N' Spice, which I have also seen stylized as Sugar & Spice but it's all the same wonderful store :) Their group is currently free to join, and there is a wall of gifts and group offers that I think will catch your eye. I would describe their style as flirty and modern, with some seasonal gifts mixed in among these generous treats. Are you ready for a few peeks?

My first look is the SNS MANDY DRESS SLB GIFT, a playful mini dress with crossed halter neck and open midriff. The skirt says "GAME OVER" with a helmet (gas mask?) beneath. We receive sizing for Kalhene, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 5 colors to select from. I think the contrast of the trim is a beautiful feature, just like the bows on the strands connecting top to skirt.

My new SUGAR N' SPICE DESIGNS ZARAH DRESS GIFT will tell you that I'm "NICE until PROVEN naughty" :) The candy cane in the midst of that will indicate that we're talking about where we fall on Santa's lists, and hopefully I only have a little bit of explaining to do this year. This clever dress comes in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes, all in shiny black with gold clasps on the garter straps. 

Next I slipped into the SUGAR&SPICE DESIGNS NELLY DRESS GROUP GIFT, black with a very pretty floral pattern on the bodice. I am a little bit slow tonight because I spent time chatting with my mom so we could further pin down details for Thursday and Saturday, not my idea as I'd thought we were all set there. At this point it feels like we'll still be ironing out last minute things in the moments before I arrive there, heh, just endless chaos. November at Off-Line

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're headed back to "Off-Line", where the free group currently has almost two dozen gifts waiting for us, 7 each for October, November, and December. All of the looks I am showing you in this post are from the November row, so you should have no trouble tracking them down :) I greatly appreciate their generosity they have shown time and time again, so it is is a pleasure to tell you all about these treats.

My first peek is the "Off-Line" x "Nali" Dress / Fatpack. This gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, each size in an unpacker HUD that contains a wide range of colors in solid and sheer versions. I'm wearing solid rose on the left above, and sheer lime to the right, with the other colors being black, buttercream, cantaloupe, grey, lavender, lemon, marzipan, periwinkle, pigeon, pistachio, and salmon. The front and sleeves are the sheer parts on that variety, but as you see on the right side the back is solid satin. Aren't the contrasting stripes on the sleeves a fun touch?

Another don't-miss gift is this "Off-Line" x "Alexa" Set / Fatpack, a pairing of cropped top and high leg panties. They each come in BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya packs, all of which contain several colors of solid panties and tops with "HMN ALNS" on the front. Feeling cute and sporty, no regrets :)

My final look of the evening is a cleverly crafted bodysuit with single sleeve and bold midriff opening. How was everyone's weekend? Mine was fairly decent, busy at times with a deep dive of a therapy session this afternoon. The week ahead will be chaotic with Thanksgiving and two small celebrations, and a guest for the weekend, so I will be around a little less often than usual as far as online and blogging. FabFree Friday

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've been poking around the FabFree in SL group gift list, trying to find ones that aren't any particular season and may help you find the perfect look for your weekend. I look for the less recent gifts since I figure those are more likely to be swapped out sooner, kind of a last chance reminder :) It's also good to do a post reminding you about these free goodies before the absolute chaos of December arrives, LOL, with events and Advent gifts galore. My upcoming week will be busy too, so this was good timing. As always the FabFree group is free, and the gifts are easy to find if you look for their rainbow striped logo on the sign that is usually above or next to the gift in each participating store. Tonight I'm wearing Lara X for the first two photos, then back to Maitreya 5.3 for the remainder.

For my first look of the evening, I visited Black Angel and headed upstairs to their gift area, happily claiming the DEYA SET for FabFree. This brown leather duo includes the bra and skirt each in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I was intrigued by the double belts attached to the skirt, so fun!

I shared a @rOrO gift from an event yesterday, so imagine my surprise when I realized I could bring you to their mainstore tonight and show off another generous gift! Their Quinn Dress Pattern Version comes in Erika, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and includes a HUD with 4 textures. They are color variations of what you see above, a bold pattern that truly catches the eye and captures the imagination. The layered, ruffled skirt can do that too of course :)

My day had ups and downs, mostly because my parents are unsure they want to continue the Christmas eve tradition that they helped my grandmother with for several decades. I feel like it's sending a message to the rest of the family that they no longer matter with her gone, or who needs tradition anymore. They asked if I'd be heartbroken, and I know they wanted me to say no...I wonder which meme would suit my reaction best. Hide the pain Harold maybe? Sigh. We agreed to revisit that idea after this holiday. Okay so I've got a busy weekend ahead, but at least our Thanksgiving plans (Thursday with just the parents, Saturday with 3 others added) are solidified. Tonight's post brings us to the Cozy Thanksgiving Event at Wonderland Beach, where I've visited and shared treats from many times before :) They do treasure hunts with free gifts for us, and these are in actual treasure chests that open to show off gold and gems when you click them. Most of the chests are hidden in or near the display buildings or carts, and I had a lovely time as always exploring the area. We have until the 28th to claim all of our rewards for finding those chests, so about a week left to stop by and refresh your seasonal wardrobe.

My first look is the beautiful DANI Bamboo Minidress, which is the ladies' prize from Designs by Danielle. There is also a chest for the men, and one for child avatars, so the whole family can be covered here :) This dress has fun spaghetti straps that are doubled in the back, and daring side slits all the way up to the waist. We receive sizes for eBody Reborn, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The fabric pattern is a striking mix of bamboo leaves and flowers, in perfect hues for this time of year.

~MystRie~ has two gifts so men and women each get their own special treat from this hunt :) Their In the Autumn Nights Female outfit consists of the long dress in 3 fitmesh standard sizes (S,M,L) plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body sizing, as well as the headpiece and lantern you see here. The dress made me think of a haunted carnival, and the lantern holds a candle that can be turned off an on by touching it. 

Next I changed into the MESH Thankful Pants Set and Boots by Moonstar, which is one of two gifts I found from this generous brand. The top and pants are one linked piece which comes in 5 classic and 5 fitmesh sizes, along with Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The boots come in 5 standard sizes, so I'd say if you are using the alpha layer to hide your feet, only the cuff area size matters in relation to your ankles. The top says "thankful & grateful today and every day" which is something I aspire to :) Lately it's been harder for me to be grateful as life hasn't been very kind, but those are really the times that we need to be more appreciative of any tiny thing that does make us feel happy or positive.

I switched bodies for this photo, and I'm laughing at the thought of how that would sound to anyone not familiar with SL at all...this is not a Freaky Friday remake, I just changed from Maitreya Lara 5.3 to Lara X :) That is because the sizes our charming @rOrO Pink & Teal Xavia Coat & Skirt prize contains, and it is clearly worth the few clicks that it took. The coat and skirt pieces each come in pink and teal versions, all in sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. We can mix or match this way, so I've shown the mixes above but the outfit also looks great in the same colors together.

My final look of the evening is the {Monstarous} Webby Nails prize. These long mesh nails come in sizing for Erika, Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Prima, and Reborn hands, just pick your brand from the unpacker HUD and hide your body's built in nails (through the body's HUD) then add the nails of your choice. There are 4 numbered versions included, the two colors you see above plus black and white backdrops, all with the delicate spiderwebs on them. I really enjoy the variety! Please ignore the purple thumbnail poking through my lip here, LOL, my mouth moved while I was taking the photo at just the wrong time.

Quiet day here, which is fine by me, and I am really looking forward to dinner with my parents' tomorrow for the first time in 3 weeks. That's mostly because we have some Thanksgiving details to discuss, nothing major but it's nice to coordinate about the little things. Third Life Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting several stores who participate in the Third Life group, which has a small $10L joining fee to keep us safe from spammers. There are lots of generous designers who take part in this group, and most are part of other multi-designer groups too so I always recommend checking your group list to see if there are other gifts that you can claim too :) Visiting all these locations can be extra tempting for us shopaholics, lol, but I'm also fond of bargain hunting so I know to check for special sales.

My first stop was ART & FASHION, where on the wall among many terrific group gifts I found the ANATHEMA LONG DRESS for Third Life. The full length gown has intriguing artwork on the front, as is typical with this impressive brand which lives up to both parts of its name :) We receive fitmesh standard sizes along with 3 versions each of Freya, Isis, and Venus (Natural, Perky, and Pushup) plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. The color reminds me of sunshine, warm and cheerful, and the bare back is a lovely touch.

For a more casual look, please be sure to claim our Carola*Maite 0323 gift which is one of several upstairs for various groups. The halter neck bodysuit comes in Erika, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh body sizes, while the heels are designed to fit Belleza, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink feet. There really are no wrong answers, as they all look fantastic! 

If the idea of camouflage is to make us blend into our backgrounds, I'm going to say this one is not succeeding because the style stands out! :) Our [DIESELdeluxe] Gaby Short Dress Combate gift is a daring mini with deep V neckline and slender straps, with the hem coming to a slight point in the rear. We receive Altamura, eBody, Freya, Isis, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh body sizing. I think a dark colored pair of panties would be helpful, and heaven knows I have plenty of those in my inventory already.

My final look of the evening is our ::F:: CHLOE DRESS 45 colors FTP gift from FOR YOU. They certainly have us looking fine, with a crossed halter neck and mostly bare back and midriff. The gift includes sizes for Erika, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a camo HUD of 20 colors and another HUD with 20 solid colors and 5 assorted patterns. I'm camo on the left above and a sweet floral on the right :) Which one tickles your fancy?

It was a dark and stormy night...the storm just knocked my power out briefly as a matter of fact, so thank goodness this website autosaves frequently. Whew! When it gets that suddenly dark and silent, it is terrifying for a split second, which is not great for folks with anxiety ;) I won't be surprised if that happens again before the night is over, and I've got several hours of blog prep ahead of me so that wouldn't make things easy. I'm having one of those moods with my avi lately, wanting to change my hair and skin and even tweak my shape all the time for no particular reason. Some people almost never change hair or skin, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that; my thing seems to be from taking so many photos of my avatar nearly every day I get tired of any single look. Black Friday with Ewa and BlackBarry

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some early Black Friday sales info to share, with a bonus of several free gifts with no group tag needed.
