Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking a look at some wonderful gifts from S@BBIA, whose group is free to join and lets us claim several gifts as well as possibly win prizes from their lucky boards. I've been a fan of theirs for such a long time now, and it is a pleasure to visit and see what's new. They used to provide single fitted sizes, but I do see they have branched out into multiple mesh body sizes too. Just be sure to check signs and demos so you know what's included in each offering :) As for the gifts, the most recent is usually on the easel in the central area, and others are on the wall to the right. Behind the easel is a small wall panel with the group's lucky boards and a Guess & Win board that you do not need a group tag for. These are so fun, just try to guess which of 9 boxes hides the match to the prize shown. I always get a very classic, relatively modest feeling from their creations, a style that appeals to me and makes for a fun change sometimes :)
My first look of the evening is the S@BBIA::Back Ribbon Blouse Set Gift, which is yours for free with their free group tag. The lovely blouse and velour pleated skirt are each provided in a single size that fit my Maitreya body very well, and the tweed pumps come in versions for Maitreya, Slink, and classic flat feet. There are alpha layers for each too, which is quite handy. The sweet bow on the back of the blouse really made me smile, and the colors are timeless classics that work for any time of year.
I also couldn't resist sharing the S@BBIA::Halloween 2024 Gift, although Halloween is over I still think my Goth girlie readers will appreciate it :) The dress has sheer sleeves with cobwebs to match the overlay of the skirt, and red ribbons on the upper bodice. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies plus a fitted version for classic avatars. Our platform ankle boots come in Fitmesh, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink sizing, and the bandage tights are provided in BOM layers in black and nude. We can easily wear this without either tights if preferred, just to change the look up a little more.
If you're looking to get ready for chilly weather, how about the S@BBIA::Check Knit Dress Brown Gift? The long sleeved sweater dress is so comfy looking, and its trim matches the included scarf which is a separate piece so you can wear them alone or together. Each is a single mesh size with an alpha layer, so its loose fit should enable it to fit many shapes and sizes just right.
I'm feeling so fashionable in my new S@BBIA::Long Sleeve Dress Gift, thanks to its houndstooth pattern and bold pockets to match the solid shoulders and sleeves. If this were all shades of grey and just a little shorter, it could be an SL version of one of my favorite RL winter tops :)
My final look of the evening is the charming S@BBIA::Ruffle Frill Dress (Gift) which is their most recent group offering on the easel in the center of things. This beauty is provided in a fitmesh size along with Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body versions. I love the way the bodice is perfectly formfitting while the skirt flares out playfully, and the ruffles on the shoulders lead back to a very pretty bow. It's romantic and flattering, and the plaid is a lovely touch too. I've been wearing this all weekend, it'll be almost sad to have to take it off later ;)
Whew, I need a better immune system or something! Friday and Saturday I was just so exhausted from being sick, and the cough went from dry to hacking and productive except the mucus is too thick to budge. This means I occasionally cough hard enough to almost black out, and my ribs are ridiculously sore. Still no voice, that's been gone since Wednesday, and I had a slight reaction to the half dose of mucinex I took so that is not the answer either. *sips mint tea with honey* I had canceled my therapy session since I can't talk, lol, and that would defeat the purpose of a video call, but he was very understanding and we'll pick up next week where we left off. My temperature is normal again, so I'm just cycling through all sorts of weird symptoms. Are we having fun yet? ;) It messes with my anxiety to be physically ill too, like difficulty breathing from being stuffy mimics anxiety symptoms and causes panic attacks. I'm trying to learn to meditate, in search of calmness. I hope you're all having a happy and healthy day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
