BlondeQueen at The Free Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are headed to The Free Dove to enjoy their Caring Hands Mini Hunt for the month of May. The featured designer is BlondeQueen, who I am very familiar with thanks to events and hunts in which they often share their talents. The hunt is comprised of 10 hidden prizes, 5 at The Free Dove and the other 5 at the BlondeQueen mainstore, all of which are tucked inside adorable cat plushies that resemble the Pusheen cat if you are familiar with that cutie. There is a picture on the signs for the hunt, as well as a key to all 10 prizes so you can get a sneak peek at all the wonderful gifts in the Black and White theme they are offering. Tonight's looks are all 5 of the prizes at The Free Dove, and a couple of treats from the BlondeQueen display there. All of these are entirely free when you wear your "Blessed by a Dove" group tag (free to join) and give them a click. 

My first look of the evening is our #1 BQ::Giselle Skirt & Blouse:: Pied de Poule/White prize, and because of my curious nature I looked up to find out that the name translates to houndstooth which is how I know that particular pattern in English :) The skirt and blouse are linked to wear as one piece, which is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The monochromatic color scheme is very elegant, and suits this style quite well.

Next I changed into the #2 BQ::Giselle Skirt & Blouse:: Black hunt prize, a dark beauty with houndstooth collar to contrast the ebony color crisply. All of these prizes come in the same set of sizes, and I find my eyes were drawn to the softly tied collar and the bell sleeves quite often.

#3 BQ::Giselle Skirt & Blouse:: White looks just as stunning as the rest of these thoughtful hunt prizes, doesn't it? The skirt and tie have a slight grey tint that in RL could be attributed to different fabric than the blouse or simply the fact that there are endless shades of white :) I actually find it more realistic this way and therefore very appealing.

Another terrific prize is this #4 BQ::Giselle Skirt & Blouse:: Pied de Poule/Black seen here. The trim really suits the pattern as with the other looks, and I feel like these are nice choices for when you want to look professional or particularly chic. I did mention shoes, and decided that the #5 BQ::Giselle Stiletto Shoes:: Black/White look outstanding with this checked print and black combo. The pretty pumps fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet, and with neutral colors you can wear them with just about anything in your wardrobe as well as the other hunt prizes.

My final look of the evening brings a burst of color, as I share two of the gifts you can pick up from the BlondeQueen display while you are hunting at The Free Dove. The dress is their BQ::Dolly Mini Dress:: White & Red, with both versions provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The red has white polka dots and belt, with the reverse color scheme looking equally pretty on the white variety. It seemed natural to pair it with the BQ::Marilyn Stiletto Heels:: Red & White gift, since they feature the same two colors and you can wear either pair with either dress. The red and white pairs are each provided in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet, and I decided to match the belt instead of the base color, just for fun. The pumps are elegantly simple, closed toe and long slender heel to show off the shiny texture.

There is a very helpless feeling when someone we care about is dealing with a health crisis of a family member, and that is where I am at this point...I am being vague for privacy purposes so I will just say that I might seem a bit distracted the next few days and I apologize in advance if so. I believe that things will improve (it is not anything contagious if you wondered about a certain worldwide illness) but there is considerable stress for their family in the meantime so my thoughts are with them.
