Mesh Body Friends Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are activating our free Mesh Body Friends group tag and visiting some participating designers' stores to claim their generous gifts. What will you find? Well I am excited as always to show you :) I deeply appreciate every single designer who offers any sort of group gifts, as it gives us a great idea of their usual style and talents that we can enjoy as a sneak peek. It also encourages me to return to do some shopping, as I usually grab demos from places whose merchandise I am especially fond of. 

My first look of the evening comes from Brunsen Couture, and is called Meli Outfit Black Grey. The top and skirt are linked so it wears like a one-piece dress, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The dark grey top has an eye-catching sheen, and the skirt is trimmed with two rows of lacing down the front which is just a lovely detail.

REED has a gift that will help you get ready for a visit to cooler climates in SL, their KIARA sweater dress. It is a hot pink knit with snowflakes in the design, long sleeved with a few buttons beneath the V neckline. Our gift comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. Since we never know when any store will be changing their group gifts, I figure it's best to grab it now while we can and put aside for late fall ;)

The *Gloss* Katrina Mini Dress gave me quite a chuckle, as I was always a good girl until well into adulthood when I let my bad girl side come out to play sometimes ;) The flirty tank dress includes sizes for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. In addition to the words "bad girl" on the front, we also see a red keyhole with a silhouette of a curvy lady inside. 

Next we visit ANNE COUTURE to claim their *AS* SONIA gift for Mesh Body Friends. This playful strapless mini will fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and includes a 6 texture HUD so we can change up the look. There are 4 solid colors and 2 choices with images like the one on the left above, both sexy and yet amusing :) The rear view is rather cheeky thanks to a very short hemline, just like the dress above it. 

For my final look of the night, I visited GeMyles and went upstairs where all their group gifts are located along with some lucky chairs and a midnight mania board :) The gift for Mesh Body Friends is their Vanezza Dress & Boots Outfit, and to claim it we need to right click the sign and pay $1L which will be immediately refunded while the gift is delivered. The alluring dress has Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes inside, and there is similar sizing for the shoes & striped tights combo - Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Add the 32 color HUD and you can tint the non-black portions of both pieces at once, for a well coordinated look :) 

As is all too frequent lately, my plans got changed (canceled) so I did not go to dinner at my parents' house. This time it wasn't the weather, but something they had to take care of for my grandmother that took up most of their day. It is complicated but they are trying to get the proper forms for a tax rebate that she is eligible for, and will help enormously with her finances which are dwindling due to the cost of in-home healthcare for several years. Tomorrow morning I am heading to the farmers market, where I will be saying a sad goodbye to one of the vendors on their last day in business. Sweet couple, I've enjoyed chatting with both of them every week for a few years now and it's never easy but I'll be wishing them a fond farewell. Freedom of Summer

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the Freedom of Summer 3 Fair & Hunt, where there are many exclusive or discounted offers with proceeds going to charity, as well as free gifts and a $3L hunt for dolphin plushies. The signs said it was open until July 15th, but I saw a mention on a hunt website indicating it lasts until the 15th of August...since we are nearly 2 weeks past the 15th of July, and it's still going strong, I am hopeful that it will remain open until the mid-August date :) So the charity is the Harambee Gwassi Kenya Schools non profit organization, and you will find plenty of intriguing information on the good work they do while you visit and on their website :) The hunt prizes are pictured there too, with photos of the gifts that I noticed ranged from $0L - $10L or so. There is a lot to see, so come shopping for a good cause!

The free gift from Emerald Couture is their EC Rain Dress Gray. This beautiful mini dress hugs our curves and is trimmed with scalloped lace at the hemline, so pretty! There are standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, and Sapphira mesh bodies provided. 

Next we take a look at the charming Trina plain dress from Telsiope's Couture. This free dress fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a 4 color HUD so you can choose your favorite hue. The long sleeves are a cozy touch, balanced by the short swingy hem.

I also found a generous free gift at the AnaSTyle display, their sexy Orkidea Black&Gold - Dress. It is mostly sheer golden lace, with black bodice and center front panel. The little gold bows on the front are a playful touch, aren't they? I am also very fond of the trio of straps in the back that link to the shoulder straps, forming a bit of a web across our back. The gift includes Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing.

[C.Y<3Fashion] is offering their *Dory*DRESS as their free gift for all visitors. It fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD to select from 6 colors each for the top, skirt, and belt. These can be mixed and matched to suit any mood or personal preferences :) The combination of lace and sequins against the solid skirt makes for an exciting look.

My final look of the evening is a closer view of the :::: FRIDA Nails :::: lilac--SQUARE gift I've been enjoying this evening. These long and lavish bento mesh nails include sizes for Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic hands, so just use your body's HUD to hide the built in nails and add the appropriate version. Lilac is one of my favorite shades of my favorite color purple, so this free gift makes me extremely happy and grateful :)

Today was another warm one, but a peaceful one at home so I am doing okay. We had some brief but severe thunderstorms this evening, then more are expected tomorrow which may mean no dinner at my parents' again. The weather really seems against us getting together lately :P  Oh well, at least the climate in SL can be exactly what we choose, so I can visit sunny places that make me smile whenever I log in. More Ydea Style Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to Ydea Style to win some more lucky board prizes, as there are several dozen (over 60) possibilities we can claim with their free group tag. The boards change letters rapidly so just hang out a bit and look for your initial, and be sure to bring some friends since there are male and female prizes to be won. As I mentioned last night, there are sets of numbered prizes (names like Gift woman 2) that have the same names as other prizes, so I suggest opening all of the packages you win and checking the photo inside or the names of the contents to tell if it's a duplicate or not. Believe me, you don't want to miss any of these generous goodies! :)

My first look of the evening is the *Ydea Style Summer gift ladies 2020 Outfit* prize. It was a busy day, and definitely a hot one as it was about 85 degrees in the afternoon when I had to go out. Ydea Style Luck

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Ydea Style, where their free group tag lets us claim lots of group gifts as well as win prizes on over 60 lucky boards and a half dozen lucky chairs. Their generosity is impressive, and so is the quality of their merchandise as I think you will find out as soon as you visit. Many of the boards have men's prizes, so please share this information with your male avatar friends too. The boards change so quickly, some as fast as every minute, so you could get very lucky and win several prizes in a short amount of time, like I did :) So that is what I will be sharing tonight, a handful of terrific prizes from their lucky boards, which I hope you enjoy as much as I have. I would like to note that the numbered ones (like Woman gift 2) share their names with other prizes, so I recommend opening all the gifts and looking at the enclosed photo to see if it is the same exact prize or a different one with similar naming.

There are white and black stripes down the right side of the body and along each sleeve, which are then trimmed with a solid blue cuff in a slightly darker navy hue. 

I also couldn't resist the *Ydea Style Gift Woman 7* which I am so grateful to have won :) This red strappy mini dress comes in Kalhene, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. The flirty style is great for a night out with someone special, or a visit to your favorite club perhaps.

My final look of the evening is the lucky board prize called *Ydea Style Summer Gift for woman 5*. It was a little less hot today, which is good since I have to go out tomorrow and the temperature should be similar. It's a chiropractor visit tomorrow, nothing concerning, and I am eager to get my neck realigned as it really does ease the headaches and such. SLFO Gifts For You

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for variety, so I looked for some SLFO (SL Frees & Offers) group gifts and found lots of generous treats to share :) The group is free to join, and with that group tag active you can visit tons of participating designers and look for their red and white logo. The group sign is usually above or next to the pertinent gift, and many of these stores offer gifts for multiple groups so be sure to check for others you may be a part of for extra rewards!

My first look comes from BoA, whose SLFO gift is their Dress - 21 Textures. This formfitting mini tank dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD so we can choose from the 21 textures mentioned in its name. That is such a generous amount of options, and I think my favorite (in my current mood anyway LOL) is the pink one on the right above with flowers dotted with hearts in their centers. 

For a sheer sexy look, be sure to head to Spells & Charms to Go (formerly WitchCraft) and claim their S&C Margot Lace Dress. It fits Alice, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a 6 color HUD so you can pick your favorite hue of lace. We are definitely able to see through this lace, so keep that in mind when deciding where to wear it :)

I also visited V8 Underground (also known as Brii Underground) and picked up their beautiful **PIPER PERABO FASHION STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** group gift for SLFO. The dress and heels each fit Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies, and I am a huge fan of the golden chains adorning both and acting as halter strap and belt. 

Another gift that includes footwear is this striking I KNOW YOU WANT IT outfit from LEGENDAIRE. The dress, boots, and body chains in gold and silver versions are all provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD for the dress with 8 textures to choose from, and one for the laces on the dress offering 8 colors. 

My final look this evening comes from :::FurtaCor::: and is their Alexandra Set group gift. To reach the back room where the group gifts are, you have to walk through a room filled with adult products (Miix Erotika event) so that is just a warning in case you have young ones running around while at the PC :) This thoughtful gift consists of the dress and heart garters each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, plus shoes to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a look at several generous group gifts from KiB Designs, whose group is free to join. There are a couple of goodies for men too, so I suggest bringing your favorite male avatar-wearing folks too :) There are also a couple more Escape The Ordinary 3 Hunt prizes I wanted to share, just $3L each and we are in the final week of that hunt so time is of the essence. I think you'll see they are worth hurrying for! As for my post title, it matches the weather and the song actually came on the 70s Music Choice station I have on, so I took that as fate telling me the name ;)

My first look of the evening is the KiB Designs - Mandala Dress GROUP GIFT, a comfy looking shirtdress in two versions. They each come in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. As you can see, you can choose the black mandala or white mandala, and both have that playful high-low hemline that I enjoy so much. This gift also includes a men's gift of a shirt with similar image on the front. 

Next I changed into the KiB Designs - Cute Shirt GG March 2018, another thoughtful gift with 2 versions. The grey and pink tops are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing, and both have a contrasting colored bow on the back to loosely hold it together. The grey shirt's bow is pink, so they feature each other's color as an accent :) 

For visiting cooler climates, you may want to try the KiB Designs - Shaaramay Shirt&Sweater - Group Gift. This layered top has both tank top and slouchy sweater with one shoulder bared, in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version which is the one I am wearing. The gift also includes a HUD with 5 textures for each, so a variety of colors for the sweater and different fun images for the tank top. In this photo and the previous one, I'm wearing my blue Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack gift, several hues in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

The sequined and swirled texture looks great on the strapless styling!

My final look tonight is a sampling of the lovely gifts inside the Kitty Coven hunt prize. There are several BOM makeup layers for Evo X heads (like my new LeLutka) that you can mix and match for the look you wish. In the main image I'm wearing the "stars and moon" freckled across my cheeks, and the pink lipstick. Then the insets are the gold eyeliner and black lipstick. There is also a face blush and a tintable eyeliner included, so there is a terrific variety to this prize. I've only had my new head for a few days so I'm still getting used to it, but this reinforces how important it was for me to purchase one :)

It was a quiet, sweltering hot weekend here, and I think the heatwave is only going to get better midweek because of thunderstorms so it will be a rough one. There are always new and interesting places to keep me occupied visiting in SL though, so I will certainly try to make the best of things. Get Ready For The Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have an eclectic mix of offers to share, carefully selected to spruce up your wardrobe and living space this weekend. There are Midnight Madness prizes and a lucky chair prize from [QE] Designs for a casual or formal look, and neither require any specific group tag to participate and win. Then we dive into the Escape The Ordinary 3 Hunt, a fun $3L gridwide hunt with lots of intriguing prizes. The website will guide you with landmarks and hints, with some preview images for sneak peeks. There is something so rewarding about finding a carefully hidden hunt object, knowing your are saving lots of lindens and receiving a quality creation!

First we visit [QE] Designs (also home of [QE] Decor) where their two midnight madness prizes are currently the top and skirt seen here. Their [QE] Chelsea Blouse & Emily Top v2 is two pieces that layer beautifully, each in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. Then we have the charming [QE] Hannah Denim Skirt which is also a midnight madness prize, and comes in the same sizes as the top. This one has a HUD with 12 denim colors and 3 metals, and I am fascinated by the styling! It looks like the skirt was converted from a pair of distressed jeans with a rip beneath the right bum cheek, living a new life as a flirty denim skirt.

I did promise something formal, and this is one of many terrific prizes we can win from the lucky chairs that are alongside the midnight madness boards. It is called [QE] Olympia Dress -Red-, and is a striking halter style with slender belt up high that ties in the back just like the neckline. There are sizes for Freya (Natural, Perky, Push), Isis (Natural, Perky, Push), Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included in our prize. I really like the style, and the pattern reminds me of a kaleidoscope. 

The [QE] skirt also came in handy when I switched over to sharing some hunt prizes, starting with the CEREAL KILLER Tee from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. This clever cutie has a milk carton as the "i" in killer, and features a bowl of cereal just waiting to be devoured. The prize includes standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. My favorite cereal is cinnamon Life, how about you?

Splintered Creations is also offering a great hunt prize, their corner knickknack display which is named for the hunt itself. This dark wood staircase has a small landing and a right turn of 90 degrees, and can be resized to fit your personal living space. The decorations on the stairs are all attached except the glass jar with flowers, which is most of the 43 land impact (it alone is 37 li) so if you prefer you can pull the jar back into your inventory and just use the 6 li stairs with remaining knickknacks. You can see I'm standing there for size, and I definitely enlarged this quite a bit!

My final look of the evening is a hunt prize we can find on the marketplace, perfect for a busy weekend when you might not have time to teleport all over the grid :) This is the Stonemill - Cow Town Vase, an eye-catching round black and white vase with a fun cone shape with stripes on the top. I am showing it on the landing area of the Splintered Creations staircase, but you can put it just about anywhere and have it add visual interest to your coffee table, dresser, or wherever it will make you smile. This vase has just 1 land impact so it is great for anyone whose living space is tight on prim allowance. 

Because of the heat wave, I wound up staying home instead of my usual Friday dinner at my parents'. It is a little bit of a bummer, however we all decided better safe than sorry. For the farmers market I might just have my housemate pick up what I usually get, as it was similarly hot last week and it definitely got to me. My thyroid problems apparently make me more sensitive to temperature extremes, and the neuropathy adds to that fun. So I plan on a quiet weekend at home, where I can certainly keep busy :) There are always things to watch, things to clean, and stuff to organize, ohh organizing in SL is a good idea too.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing some goodies from Emerald Couture, whose free group entitles us to several group gifts as well as the use of their lucky chairs/boards and midnight mania boards. The letters on the chairs were changing very rapidly, so I was able to win several times both from my initial and the "?" wildcard when anyone can win. I also picked up a few of the newer group gifts to share, by right clicking and paying $1L which was automatically refunded while the gift was delivered. I also finally settled on an Evo X head, as you will see :)

My first look this evening is the newest group gift called EC Thea Toga Outfit. There is also a handy HUD with lots of options - 6 textures each for the top and dress (skirt), 4 for the belt, and 2 metals for the rings. You can match the top and skirt or change things up a bit, with solid and patterns to choose from. I love the unique straps and the dramatic high-low hemline!

Next I slipped into this gorgeous group gift, their EC Bluma Outfit Cream. The short sleeved dress comes in a standard M size and sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. There are also matching high heeled sandals for Maitreya, Slink, Ocacin, and Voluptuous mesh feet. The chic styled dress has slits on both sides of the long loose skirt, and a delicate pink floral pattern in diagonal stripes.

As for the lucky chairs, this prize is particularly sexy because of its sheer fabric and strappy shoes. The gift is called EC Celesine Violet, and starts with the gauzy dress in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The sandals that lace all the way up to mid thigh will fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique feet/legs. I also won this same outfit in White today, so if you see a prize in one color and it is not your favorite hue, you have a good chance of it appearing on the chairs in a different one :)

This playful lucky chair prize is the EC Anzu Outfit Lemons, one of a few fruit-themed versions you could win from these chairs. The halter top and mini skirt are each included in standard mesh sizes as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The teeny skirt is held together with loose lacing on the right hip, and features two of the colors from the lemon tree pattern on the halter. 

My final look tonight is also a lucky chair prize, called EC Bailey Dress v2 Pink. This fun style has a built in tie and a sexy rear view with keyhole opening for an extra peek of skin. The print on the fabric reminds me of the keyhole cutout in the back, making this a really clever look. 

Head note of the night: after driving poor Xan batty for a few days by showing him at least 6 different head demos that I couldn't decide between (among?), I finally went with the LeLUTKA Fleur. Other contenders were their Zora and Irina, but with all of them I was having trouble getting a profile or side view that I felt suited me. I will probably tweak the shape several times over the next few days as is my process, hehe, but I am glad to be able to take advantage of the new Evo X mapping's popularity. Trying to adjust mentally to the new look is so odd though, like I'm taking photos of an imposter ;) I felt that way switching to Genus too though, and I know it will be fine soon enough. I tried to make sure the head size worked with my favorite hairstyles, which can cause more adjusting too. All in all, I am happy with my decision while still getting accustomed to the change.

Happy Birthday Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the Happy Birthday Hunt, whose $1L prizes are hiding inside red balloons at each location. The website helps with landmarks, hints, and preview images of most of the treats. If your RL birthday or SL rezday birthday are coming up soon, or maybe that of a friend or family member, this hunt's prizes will help you get ready to celebrate. There are prizes for more casual get-togethers and a couple for a fancy soiree, it all depends your party mood.

For my first look we visit The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., whose red balloon contains their cheeky BIRTHDAY BITCHES Tee :) There are standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. The front reads "Drink up bitches It's my birthday" with drinks to toast on each side of the word "up". It gave me quite a chuckle, as I have definitely celebrated birthdays with people who gave off the same energy ♥.

Next we visit Clothes Culture to look for their hidden prize called NOTES. This strapless dress is accented with a hot pink ruffle at the neckline, and the fabric has a playful pattern of vibrantly colored musical symbols. Our prize comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

The burgundy trim of the outfit matches the nails nicely too, so we are very well coordinated and ready to add your favorite shoes then head out to a celebration.

It was a quiet day in the midst of a heatwave, so I'd say that quiet is just right :) The hot weather is here to stay for a while, so I just have to be careful when I do go out to make sure I stay hydrated and use sunscreen. I spent another few hours playing with mesh head demos, oh my word it's frustrating! I thought I had it narrowed down to 2, then went back and grabbed a few more and narrowed those down to two for a total of 4, then this morning I added a fifth strong contender to the mix. I'm going in the wrong direction, LOL! It's such a personal decision though, so I just have to buckle down and choose one. Having to add separate ears and neck blender tattoo layers is a pain, but I am getting used to the idea and it will become habit I guess. I might not change my skin that often if at all for a while.
