POSH Birthday Party

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more terrific group gifts from the POSH Event's first anniversary to show you. Their group is free to join, and there is a 4th of July theme in addition to the anniversary or birthday theme. I really enjoyed visiting, and did grab a few demos while claiming these treats so I can do some shopping before this round wraps up on the 23rd. What catches your eye there? My general style in SL is casual but a bit flirty, with preferences towards Boho/hippie and seasonal colors like brights for summer, but I think blogging has really expanded my tastes since I get to see so many amazing offerings like the ones we can find at POSH.

My first look tonight is the [Pixel Doll] 4th July Bikini - Gift, a strappy two-piece swimsuit in navy blue with red and white accents. The top and bottom each fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. This bikini provides just the right amount of coverage in my opinion, and the colors seem to work for other than simply American holidays.

Another free gift you won't want to miss is the lovely Next Door: Brynn Juneteenth Gift. The top, skirt, and panties are each provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. The bra top is bold red with green trim, and the ruffled split skirt is adorned with what looks like either palm fronds or feathers at the waistband. Either way, I love it! :) I'm sure the bra and panties could be worn alone as a bikini, but I was too busy showing off the gorgeous geometric patterned skirt...those triangles are mesmerizing. 

I also claimed a terrific gift from Tastic, their 4th of July Swimsuit with Hud. It features high cut legs that create a thong in the back, and plunging neckline for maximum cleavage. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies included, as well as the 8 texture HUD that lets us change the appearance with a few quick clicks. You can create your own personal fireworks just by wearing this hot little number :)

Some parties call for something more formal, like this MadCatCreations gift called MCC - Women - 10 Shades of Red Dress w HUD. The pearl choker creates a halter style neckline, and our gown fits close to the body until it flares out mid thigh, with a daring slit on the left side. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a 10 texture HUD with everything from solid red to all sorts of lovely patterns. Because of the choker built in, this barely needs any additional jewelry at all (unless you're feeling it of course) so I would probably choose a pair of earrings or a bold bracelet. 

Please click this final look of the evening to see it full size, as the mermaid skirt is so full that it called for a wider image :) This is the TS-Formal-Tyesha-SE from Tori's Stylez, and it is a striking black satin strapless gown that comes in versions with and without materials, each in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes. There is also a system/BOM pair of black lace panties included, particularly noteworthy because the back of the gown scoops so low that the panties are in fact visible. Without them, you will see a bit of bum cleavage ;) You can obviously wear this look either way, depending on where you are going, and the materials version would only be necessary if your viewer is set to let you see the lighting effects. The subtle spiderweb pattern on the fabric of the bodice really adds to the Morticia Addams feeling, doesn't it? ♥

My houseguest has returned home safely, within the past few minutes actually, so I am sad to see them go but so grateful that they were able to visit. I am also thankful for their assistance with my PC, as they were the one who replaced my hard drive for me and cloned the old one so all my files and programs are intact. Can you imagine how much more complicated it would have been to reinstall everything and enter all login info again? It went very smoothly and I am noticing some improvements like opening programs faster. I hope you're all having a fantastic day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
