Alias! Gifts and Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Alias!, who offer group gifts for several different groups and have lucky chairs that do not need any particular group tag to win. I had initially visited at the start of a FabFree group gift spree, lol, but immediately won a couple of lucky chair prizes so I stuck around :) I claimed another group gift too, for Mesh Body Friends which is free to join. The gifts and prizes are mostly full outfits with shoes, for which I am very grateful as it makes it much easier to get dressed with matching footwear. The idea of sharing FabFree group gifts is still in my plans for the next post, just a slight sidetrack in the best way.

My first look this evening is the Alias! Bloom Sky outfit, the FabFree group gift that led me to their wonderful store :) The dress is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, while the coordinated shoes will fit Freya, Isis, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. The bare shouldered dress has a great floral pattern with solid mauve panel down the front, just the right hue to match both the flowers and the shoes. 

With the free Mesh Body Friends group tag active, you can also claim their Alias! Sweet Love Grey outfit. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body versions, while there are panties beneath that fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. Then we can add the matching shoes in Belleza, Maitreya, or Slink high feet sizing. The pale pink shade looks lovely against the grey, and aren't those hearts on the overskirt cute?

It was wonderful timing to win their Alias! Maple w/Blue Jeans prize from one of the lucky chairs, right in the beginning of fall :) The tank top and capris are each included in standard mesh sizes along with Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. Then we can add the strappy shoes in Belleza, Maitreya, or Slink high sizing. The top has a HUD to tint the texture, and there are several buttons with different background colors of the same yellow maple leaf print that I really like. The cuffed capri jeans have a belt built in with extra chains draped along each hip, very flirty!

The lucky chairs offer "?" wildcard rounds where anyone can have a seat and win, so I genuinely cannot remember if I got this Alias! RockSkull Black/Purple from sitting for a D or a ?. I mention that just so you know that if you see that question mark, you can win no matter what your legacy name begins with, letter or number :) This gift consists of the top in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and low rise jeans in 5 classic sizes and a fitmesh version for classic avatars, plus Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. There are also shoes for Slink flat feet, not shown as I am not wearing a Slink body at the moment. You can pair this fun outfit with any shoes you wish.

My final look this evening is the Alias! Cherry Flower Dress lucky chair prize. Its short sleeveless dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Flow, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP mesh bodies, with pants as appliers for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. The pants are lace trimmed capris that also have a wide lace waistband that is hiding beneath the dress, lots of nice details to be found in this outfit as with all of our gifts and prizes :) When you hear "pink floral" to describe the pattern, you might be picturing something much lighter and on the cute side, however this can still appeal to those who prefer their clothing to be less girlie. 

I have been keeping an eye on the weather/news to keep track of the hurricane, and my heart goes out to everyone who is in the path of this storm. I have a childhood friend who now lives on the East coast of Florida, but she personally has had very little damage and posted on social media just an hour ago that all is well. Hurry to Beyond

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a very limited time offer to share, as I've just discovered that the Beyond store has their group temporarily free to join and are offering $700L store credit to its members. This offer is only until the 2nd of October, so time is clearly of the essence! The sign to click (with group tag active) is outside their front door, then the group gifts are in the back room. Tonight I'll be sharing a few group gifts and a couple of lucky board goodies, since I haven't decided yet what I am going to spend my credits on :) By the way, those boards' letters change really quickly so you could wind up with several prizes in even a brief visit.

I really appreciate the versatility, and the style is certainly a fun one!

Next we see the beautiful .:Beyond:. Lastheia - Fatpack, another generous group gift with lots of variety. The top and skirt will each fit eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The strapless peplum top and very short skirt go quite well together for a sleek and flirty fashion.

This lucky board prize has a playful touch of Halloween if you so desire. It's called .:Beyond:. Naomi - Fatpack and consists of the cropped halter top and high waisted miniskirt in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. The impressive HUD offers 20 colors each for top and skirt, each in plastic, solid, or pattern which happens to be bats as shown on the top left above. I expect this is just the beginning of my sharing Halloween themed items, so I'm simply getting into the groove ;)

I also won my final look of the evening from a lucky board :) The eye-catching .:Beyond:. Kiyomizu Autumn 2022 Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at some of the prizes from the Kiyomizu Autumn 2022 Hunt, which starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and has us looking for ninja cats. When you find each one, just give it a click to receive your free prize, sounds easy enough...however some of them are hidden in unusual ways like shrunken down, flattened, or inside of another object. I recommend wireframe if you get stuck at a particular store. The mall locations with prizes have the scripted hunt signs that tell you which number stop the store is, and how many cats are hiding (all the ones I recall were just one) which also confirms that they are set up and ready. The ghosts floating above the walkways at the mall will send you to a custom link that shows which ones you have found and what URLs you still need to visit. We have almost 2 weeks left for the hunt, as it wraps up on the 10th of October.

First I slipped into the adorable GARDENIAn's kana prize called Camisole Pink "usa-chan". It is designed to fit Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a sweet pink bunny surrounded by flowers and butterflies on the fabric. I know this is an autumn hunt, but I think I like this for year-round wear depending on what we pair it with :) For example I'm wearing it tonight with the white pair from the fatpack of jeans from Delizio that are free on the marketplace.

Next I changed into the charming M*Motion C22 KYMZ Autumn Gift. This figure hugging dress with bare shoulders fits the Maitreya body. It looks great with the vibrant fall leaves pattern, and sheer wide ruffle on top. Did you notice the zipper in the back? It is an especially nice detail since many SL fashions leave me wondering how we would get in and out of them in RL ;)

If you find the cat at Amikko and pet it (click it), you will receive their Autumn Knitted Dress I'm enjoying above. It comes in 3 classic sizes and 3 fitmesh sizes (S, M, L each) for classic avatars, along with Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The sleeveless style is balanced by a softly pleated full skirt and an attached black leather belt that matches the pert collar. The colors are ideal for the season too, with the green knit picking up some of the leaves in the skirt.

For my final look of the evening, I am wearing the lovely Autumn Setup from MeltingDots Freebie Store. The top and skirt each come in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, plus a fitmesh M size for classic avatars. Then there is a HUD provided with 8 seasonal textures to choose from (entire outfit all at once) and 2 shades for the waistband and trim. The HUD also has arrows we can click to adjust the proportions of the texture, in other words make it larger or smaller on the clothing, just click them to try it out and you can click the center circle between the arrows to return it to default. I really recommend grabbing a landmark for this store and passing it on to anyone you encounter who is new to SL, since there are lots of gifts here that are classic avatar-friendly and plenty of non-clothing items that are really fun :)

I had a decent day at home, and I am looking forward to the new month soon because it always means new rounds of hunts and events to explore :) Sometimes I find familiar ones, and other times they are just beginning their SL experience. Things change quite often in SL, but one very consistent thing is that we can always find something to do, somewhere to visit that we haven't been before, or someone to chat with. More Starry Nights at BUNDLES

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features more exclusive offers and gifts we can find at the BUNDLES event and their Starry Nights of Fall round. It is their 7th anniversary so there are even more free or nearly free gifts than usual, and of course we have plenty of selections created especially for this event :) The round is open until the 16th of October, with a theme of autumn with a twist of Halloween. I've noticed that even though many SL residents are from countries where Halloween is not celebrated, lots of folks get into the fun of costumes and spookiness that are staples of the holiday. 

I started the evening with one of the free gifts, the Tastic-Kelly Silk Jumpsuit Pink. I had a busy but fun weekend, mostly focused on my grandmother's 96th birthday party. There were a couple of cousins there I'd never met yet, and a few I hadn't seen in decades or only at funerals so hooray for a happy reason :) The 2 cousins and their wives got there rather late, so I stayed longer than expected to spend time with them which was well worth it. The weather is slightly cooling off to feel a tiny bit like autumn, mostly at night, so the leaves are changing colors and it looks lovely outside.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are back at BoA DeSiGN to see more group gifts and lucky board prizes. The group is currently free to join (possibly for their anniversary) and the group tag allows us access to both plus the midnight mania board. I am really enjoying their style and think these new looks are ideal for the upcoming weekend :)

For my first look this evening I am wearing their BoA DeSiGN Polly group gift. This outfit includes the cardigan and pants to fit Maitreya mesh bodies, as well as a HUD that offers 7 colors for each. The cardigan has a lighter panel that almost looks like a scarf, and the open front could reveal your favorite shirt or bra beneath if you wish to do some layering. 

Another wonderful group gift is the BoA DeSiGN B&W Overalls full Outfit. The strapless shorts romper is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with solid black heels that fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. I guess it's a good thing the veggie tray I picked out is way bigger than I realized from seeing it online, LOL! Tonight I get to show all of you some treats from BoA DeSiGN, whose group is currently free to join and that tag entitles you to about a dozen group gifts as well as the chance to win lots of lucky board prizes. There is also a midnight mania board for group members, so there are plenty of advantages to being in their group :) There are balloons and a Happy Anniversary sign up in the landing area so there is a chance that the free group is a limited offer for their anniversary in SL. If you are a member of multi-designer groups (like FabFree, SLFO, etc.) there are several gifts available for many of them so I suggest taking a peek through your groups and at the group gift wall.

My first look is the BoA DeSiGN Belted Dress Gift, which in addition to the bold black belt features matching pockets! There are sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with a 6 texture HUD to change the look whenever we wish. This is a great style for any time of year, but I am thinking it has lots of autumnal appeal :)

I also eagerly claimed the BoA DeSiGN Mandala Dress Gift, another terrific group gift that is ours for free. It has one shoulder slipped off to the side, with contrasting color sleeves and a pretty mandala on the bodice. The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a 3 texture HUD for added variety. The one not shown is a black and white beauty, so all three options are stunning. 

Next we see the playful BoA DeSiGN LazyDay outfit. This group gift includes the pullover and leg warmers each in a Maitreya size, as well as a BOM pair of black panties. There are HUDs too, with 6 colors on the dress HUD and 8 choices for the leg warmers. The bare shoulders are balanced by the long sleeves and cozy neckline, and the feet of the extended leg warmers fit best with mid height feet.

This lovely look is the group gift called *BoA* Long Red Dress. It has a halter neck and slits in the front and back of the bodice. There is also a built in belt and lots of luscious lace, with a train in the back for beautiful movement. Our gift fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

My final look of the evening is one of many lucky board prizes available to group members, their BoA DeSiGN Basic Coctail Dress. It is one piece with the appearance of two, in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The pale pink roses look exceptional against the black background, and I think this is another year-round winner.

It was a quiet sort of day, and I've got more plans sorted for the party Saturday like I will be bringing a veggie tray with hummus as the 'snack food' they vaguely requested. Mid-Season Mystery Fair

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we head to the Harambee Mid-Season Mystery Fair, which features sales offers for charity as well as a $3L hunt for fairies and some free gifts for all visitors. There is a nice variety among the offers and gifts, so you should be able to find something for your wardrobe or your home and garden. I also did some hair shopping for a different good cause, so my entire looks this evening have me feeling positive :)

First I tried on the [C.Y<3FASHION]*AGATA" DRESS GIFT, which is a trio of leather dresses with a different color for the top and skirt. I'm wearing the beige & pink on the left, with black & yellow on the right, and the one not shown is brown & black. Each color combo is provided in eBody, Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, flattering in any version :)

I Love Lida has two free gifts waiting for us, one of which is the alluring ILL Diletta dress. There are black and white versions (packed separately) each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. They both have a built in belt on the front that is laced like a mini corset, and the deep plunging neckline is a very sexy touch.

Bikinis can be useful year round in SL, like this playful ILL Monica bikini which is our other gift from I Love Lida. There are 4 color versions (blue, blue border, red, and red border) that each fit Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a pair of white pasties as a BOM layer, without which our nipples would be peeking through the slender straps of the bra portion. 

I also found a generous free gift at the Emerald Couture display, their EC Raine Dress Gray. This bodycon mini dress is trimmed with scalloped lace at the hem, and decorated with a built in belt just beneath the breasts. It is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Sapphira, and TMP mesh body versions. 

My final look of the evening is the free gift from *ASIA* Fashion called SHARON. This outfit consists of the top and shorts each in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and TMP sizing, then continues with the shoes to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. The tied mesh headband is unrigged as I was able to adjust it quite easily, and I am really enjoying the all-black look with different textures and fabrics. The back view of the cross-laced top is just as pretty as the lacy inset of the front, and those shorts are extra brief while covering the essentials ;) I might pair the top with a long skirt at some point just for fun and variety, and the shorts will go well with BOM layer tank tops and even bikini tops. 

Hair note of the night: Doe is having a special sale to help the designer pay for an emergency RL relocation (the housing market is really cutthroat in some areas like hers) and so naturally I did some shopping :) The sidewalk and street are lined with fantastic hairstyles that can be purchased as fatpacks or (here is where I saved lots of $ lindens) special fun packs for $75L each. As always I recommend trying on demos to see what the different fun pack's HUDs are like on the style you're interested in. I would say a few surprised me in a good way, and I am very pleased with my purchases that include the Flux version of Breathe that I'm wearing tonight. It has optional flowers that I chose to hide, although they cascade beautifully down the spiraling ponytail that curls down our back. We get to help a designer afford her new RL home and enjoy savings on gorgeous hair, so that's a win-win!

Fall Festival at Malus Park

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to cordially invite you to the Fall Festival at Malus Park, a beautiful venue that is hosting this delightful autumn themed shopping event until the first of October. The designers get to show us what this time of year means to them, with exclusive offers and even some gifts for $25L or less. As the RL weather changes, I am very glad to be inspired to update my SL wardrobe with new releases of cozy fall fashions and add some autumnal home decor to my living space.

My first look of the evening is the exclusive offer from Blink2Wink, their lovely Nina Dress. It fits Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. There is a HUD included with 15 great colors for the dress, 4 for the belt, and 2 metals for the buckle so you can personalize it to suit your mood or tastes. 

Next we take a stroll to the ~MystRie~ display, where you may choose their Fall Holidays jumpsuit for just $120L. The hue of the jumpsuit is just right for the season, and it is provided in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. She has created these works of art in RL and brought them to SL for us to enjoy, and if you purchase either of them at the Fall Festival you will save 50% and only pay $250L apiece. On the left above is Autumn, and the right is called Brown Leaves. The unframed beauties have a built in resize script so you can adjust them to work with your existing decor, and I really like the frameless look for these :) There is also a free gift at her display that you will have to visit to see for yourself, yep I am being a bit of a tease there ;) It is artwork of a woman rather than nature if that intrigues you into taking a peek.

Renaissance Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several free prizes from the Renaissance Hunt 2022, whose theme is "Monsters, Myth & Magic - A Bestiary For the Ages". We are looking for small gargoyles, a sample of which is on the hunt sign at nearly every store to give you your hints, and the first stop has a shoulder pet version you can wear to help the hidden ones rez a little faster. There are a few mini hunts that I look forward to each round, as they are fascinating to explore and follow multiple hints to advance a storyline and pick up several gifts along the way. This particular hunt and its corresponding fair/event wrap up on the 25th, so be sure to get started soon :) So many free gifts, and so many terrific participating stores, it is definitely worth the time. The group (Historical Hunts) has a notecard in the group notices with all the landmarks, and they might be able to help you if you run into any difficulties.

Mountain Rose is one of the mini hunts I mentioned, a rich storyline with two paths (I followed both) and 7 thoughtful gifts in total. On the left above is the Mountain Rose Gift #5 - Lady Elf Gown, a full length dress in two shades of salmon pink. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya, Ocacin, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous bodies plus a fitmesh M for classic avatars, with the resizable hat included as well. There is a coordinated teal outfit for the men too, among these generous prizes. On the right above I'm wearing the Mountain Rose Female Elf Warrior, which starts with the top in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous sizes. The leggings fit Freya, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, and Tonic Curvy bodies with a fitmesh M size for classic avatars too. Included but not shown are a pair of unrigged boots, which both defaulted to being attached to my right hand, LOL. I will eventually try to adjust them to my feet, but my neuropathy did not allow my hands to accomplish that one just yet ;) This outfit also has a corresponding male version, and I definitely relied on teamwork with Xan to complete this mini hunt so I'm glad he got some useful prizes as well. 

Next I changed into the stunning AdelleArts Renaissance Hunt Female Prize, where you will find a single gargoyle containing both male and female treats. This is their nymth dress which fits Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Tonic mesh bodies, with the flower crown that we can adjust as needed. Included but not shown is a long flowing hairstyle in shiny black, which looks lovely with the flower crown but so did the hair I was already wearing ;) I certainly feel like a magical nature spirit!

KKs Designs has a delightful prize inside their gargoyle called Wood Elf. This unisex outfit consists of the top and pants in system/BOM layers along with an Omega applier, delicate wings, and flexi cape. We can wear the outfit with both, either one, or neither of those accessories if we wish, so this is a versatile little number :)

Another stop I always eagerly anticipate is Thistle Moon Designs, whose gargoyle holds 4 versions of their prize for a wide range of avatar types (female, male, rebirth, and child). This is the TMD Galvanic Womens Gown Red & Silver, a beautiful look that includes a standard fitmesh size for classic avatars, as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizing. The draped train adds some dramatic length in the back, and the wrapped styling means it reveals the lightning image on the front perfectly :) The men's suit has lightning on the vest, and the other types of dresses resemble the women's but without the draped portion. 

My final look this evening brought me to a new-to-me store called le glamouriste, to find two different gargoyles for this lovely dress and an herbal plant for my home. The dress is their Emelyne Ren Fair'22 Exclusive, with rich layers of a blouse, corset, and full skirt all worn as one piece. It is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. The luxurious fabric has such a romantic feel to it, and I am tempted to wear the AdelleArts flower crown from the second photo above with this dress :) 

It was a quiet day here, and that suits me just fine. The weather was a little bit cooler, and by the end of the week it will be feeling much more like autumn than summer. I watched a little of Queen Elizabeth's funeral, and saw her corgis watching the procession go by...that was the part that hurt my heart the most. As an American I don't know much about the family, but 70 years is a long time to reign and I have sympathy for those she left behind who mourn her.
