Flying Back To Blackbird Lace

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got more gifts and prizes from Blackbird Lace, so it is a part two of yesterday's post. My first look of the evening is the fantastic group gift called Anais Outfit by Blackbird Lace. The single sleeved top and flared pants each fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Ups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. Coordinating heels are provided in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. As you can guess, we also receive a HUD in this gift, with 10 textures each for top, pants, and heels :) The mix of solids and patterns allow for a great deal of creativity, always appreciated.

This gorgeous look is the Micaela Dress by BL group gift, a ruched sheath dress with spaghetti straps and a fun abstract texture. It comes in sizing for Freya, Legacy, Legacy Classic, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. This is a great choice for the weekend if you want something you can dress up or down, depending on the jewelry and footwear you accessorize with :)

I also picked up the summery Andromeda Dress BY BL group gift. This is a tank style mini dress with 5 vibrant patterns via HUD, all with sunglasses and ice cream cones among the items seen on the print. LYDIA GIFT by BlackbirdLace is a wonderful pairing of low cut tank top and high waisted miniskirt, both very figure-hugging :) They are each included in sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. There's also a HUD with 12 colors for each, so naturally I had a great time playing with that as I usually do. 

For my final look of the evening, I switched over to a lucky board gift called VANESSA DRESS by Blackbird Lace. This loose fitting halter dress plunges deeply both back and front, just a terrific flirty style that looks extra sexy in striped animal print :) There are Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes, and a 5 color HUD. I'm not sure if the print is tiger or zebra since I associate both with those stripes, but I'm leaning towards tiger for some reason. They have a sequined appearance in all colors too, very heavy on the "wow" factor which is great for the weekend too.

Ugh, yeah that is the best word to sum up my day I'm afraid. My anxiety had an absolute field day worrying about the farmers market trip I'd had planned for tomorrow, so I tried to get some sleep but 3 hours later I was still in bed completely freaking out with nausea and just general anxiety. Got up, took an extra half dose of medication (I am always careful and don't take it recklessly or excessively) and I guess about an hour later I fell asleep finally. No dinner at my parents', and no stressful trip tomorrow either. I feel like a failure again, but that's just something to discuss again with the therapist which is Sunday. I don't know why I have an appointment on Easter Sunday, lol, but apparently it's fine with him so it's fine with me. If I'd had plans I would have just told him so, and I'm sure he'd have gladly accommodated, but I wasn't even thinking last Sunday that oh it's Easter next week. Blackbird Lace Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us to Blackbird Lace, whose group is currently free to join and allows us access to a bounty of group gifts as well as midnight mania boards, lucky boards, and lucky chairs. I've got a great lucky board prize to show you, and then I'm diving into the dozens of group gifts to randomly select a few that you may not have seen yet.

This beauty is the MILLIE DRESS by Blackbird Lace, which you can win on one of the lucky boards if you have your group tag active and your initial comes up. Next we take a peek at one of the many lovely group gifts, this one called Minolla Dress by Blackbird Lace GIFT. It is a single mesh piece with the appearance of two, a shrug top and a minidress, and it is provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Kupra-Ups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizing. The Julia Dress-Gift-By-BlackbirdLace really caught my eye, in part thanks to the bold mix of prints in warm neutral colors. I'm always a fan of halter necklines too :) This group gift includes sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. It is hard to resist a soft fluttery skirt, isn't it?

Ramping up the sex appeal, I next changed into the Anolia Set by BlackbirdLace group gift. The top and skirt are each loosely laced with golden strands, showing off fun flashes of skin while covering the essentials. I love being able to decide each time I wear an outfit whether to mix or match the colors, just depending on my random moods :)

My final look of the evening is the intriguing Irina Set by Blackbird Lace GIFT November 2023. That makes it sound as though they are monthly, if so there are a few years' worth awaiting us which is wonderful news :) Irina's top and skirt are each designed to fit Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy mesh bodies. This design is really both flirtatious and flattering, a real knockout combo.

It was a quiet day here which I think was for the best, and I am looking forward to dinner at my parents' tomorrow evening as usual for Fridays :) The weather is still fairly chilly but at least the rain should hold off until Saturday evening. Delicatt Couture At Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Palomma Plaza, specifically the Delicatt Couture display there, for a handful of generous gifts. The Palomma Plaza group tag "Doves Angel" is how we claim these gifts for free, and it doesn't cost anything to join the group so these treats are what I think of as "free-free", lol. More than a year later and it's still emotional for me to visit the former site of The Free Dove, but even as my heart twists a little I am equally pleased that her dear friend Shelby Monitor is honoring her memory so meaningfully :) The region name is the same (Gallii) and the building appearance will also be familiar if you'd visited the original Free Dove after Palomma redesigned it in a very sleek and modern styling. There is a little something for everyone there, from clothing and jewelry to hair and makeup, avatar accessories, shapes, skins, and AOs. Most male items are towards one side, but some designers have both male and female offerings on the same display table so I'm just going to suggest wandering around and enjoying the browsing.

My first look of the evening is the Delicatt Couture - Lynda Gown Darkness gift. What a stunning gown! The red rose on the single sleeve is as dramatic as the black satin fabric and the roses at the hem adorned with skulls. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

For this look I changed into the lovely Delicatt Couture - Ginny Long Dress duo. It includes blue (the darker hue on the left) and blue baby (right above) versions, which both come in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body versions. The flowing top layer on the bodice looks very pretty over the floor length skirt, gently pleated for a touch of movement when we walk. The colors made me think of the ocean, like the deeper blue further from the shore and the lighter shade in the shallow area approaching the sand.

Next we bring the romance with the Delicatt Couture - Natalia Robe with bodysuit gift :) I made sure it would be obvious from my photos that they are separate pieces and can be worn individually, and both are provided in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The robe is sheer which helps it show off the bodysuit even better from every angle when worn together, and it has that nice black belt tied beneath the bust. 

You can liven up your spring with this pair of sexy mini dresses, called Delicatt Couture - Olivia mini dress. The blue plaid and pink plaid versions are each included in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions. The pert collar looks so cute above the bare back, and the brief hem is even more seductive with the slits on each thigh in the front.

My final look of the evening is the charming Delicatt Couture - Carina Romper Gift, which comes in 3 spectacular color options. Those would be purple (left above), shell (right), and peach, each of which include standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. The peach not shown is a dark coral-ish shade of peach, very pretty just like these two :) I was being random, not unusual for me, and I was quite pleasantly surprised by the shell color which I expected to be a creamy white or sand color. As you can see it's more a turquoise and really eye-catching!

Well, we are just past halfway through the week since Wednesday is coming to a close :) I did attempt to color my hair with a box kit at home earlier, and it honestly didn't do much (grays are still popping through everywhere like tinsel in the wrong season) so I probably didn't leave it on quite long enough. I didn't want to overdo it, but I also had a mishap with the timer so I might have slightly panicked. My hair didn't turn green or fall out or anything, lol, so I'm considering it a modest success. I doubt my parents will even notice on Friday, as over the years they didn't usually notice when I had it professionally done much brighter auburn and got several inches chopped off all at once. It's not a complaint, just explaining that they don't really pay attention to cosmetic changes I suppose I could say. Bunny Hunt Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a fun exploration of the Hunts & Hints group's current hunt, the Bunny Hunt, which in addition to $10L - $25L prizes features some fantastic free group gifts at many of the stores. I am all about the group gifts tonight, so I should probably mention that the group is free to join and you can click a sign at the headquarters to get a notecard of hunt keys and landmarks. The hunt keys show you the prizes and in some cases the prices, very helpful in deciding what to search for :) The prizes are hidden inside red and blue striped eggs, while the group gifts we are looking at tonight are in cute giftboxes with Happy Easter in various colors, tied with a bright orange ribbon and bow. 

It always makes sense to start at the headquarters or office of any hunt that has one, and especially in this case since there is a group gift awaiting :) This is the *Hints&Hunts* GIFT Bunny Hunt 2024 FEMALE (yes that means there is also a male gift!) which was designed by Shining. The flirty bikini has a separate bra top and thong panty that each fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 5 texture choices for each, to mix and match as you desire. I'd also like to mention that the Valentine hunt group gift is still available in this same room, and I hadn't been here yet then so I was/am very happy for the opportunity to pick that up as well.

Next I slipped into the DANI Spring Tube Dress Bunny Hunt Gift, from the store I knew initially as Designs by Danielle so I'm not sure if she is renaming as DANI or just abbreviating lately :) This beautiful spring plaid is cut low at the neckline and has a short hem particularly in the rear, so it has considerable flirt factor. There are sizes for Erika, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. 

Another wonderful gift can be found at *Shining* in their giftbox, called Cris Dress. It is a sweet strapless dress trimmed in lace, both across the bodice and in two fun sections on the skirt. We receive sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Rolls, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 4 lovely textures to choose from. I'm very grateful to this designer for both this gift and the one I showed you first from the hunt HQ!

Here comes Magpie Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail...you wouldn't even necessarily get the bunny vibe from the front view of our Blackstone - Nicole Set - Fatpack gift, but the view from behind tells the tail tale if you choose to wear it :) The gift consists of the tube top, shorts, suspenders, tail, and tie that each fit Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. To make it a fatpack, it also includes a HUD that has 10 colors for each of the 5 pieces, and 4 metals each for the shorts and suspenders. Once bunny season is over, you can easily wear this without the tail if you prefer, and you can swap out the sheer tube top for something more solid if modesty is a concern. This is a versatile delight of a gift!

My final look of the evening comes from MELODY, and is their stunning LUCA FATPACK dress. Strapless seems to be my accidental theme of the night, at least when it comes to the amazing dresses I've found to share :) Luca here will fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and comes with a 20 color HUD to allow you to select your favorite hue. The ones I chose aren't very seasonal, but that was kind of my point I guess, to demonstrate that it will work for any time of year. Those peekaboo holes are a real eye-catcher, don't ya think?

Watching your favorite team losing in overtime is truly frustrating, and probably even more so when you are already tired and slightly crabby. That was my evening, lol, and my afternoon included a quick trip to the local park where I saw some dogs enjoying the last sunny day we're going to have for a while. I'm dyeing my hair at home tomorrow, which I haven't done for at least 20 years (myself at home that is, I've let the pros do it but the anxiety does not want me to sit that long in a salon right now) so it will be a challenge for sure. I got a demi-permanent one with no ammonia, so it might not do much since I've never tried this type before. It will help me look forward to going to the farmers market again and being seen by all those people, lol, unless it comes out awful and I have to hide it under a hat or something ;) Home kits are usually pretty foolproof though. Feeling Free and Fab

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I felt the urge to check out some gifts for the FabFree in SL group, which is always free to join and is the inworld presence of the amazing blog by the same name. I'm a longtime fan of both, and always eager to share their gifts whenever I get the chance because there are so many generous and talented designers who take part. While there have been several newer ones added recently (more all the time!) I headed down the list of gifts somewhat to see what ones have been available for a bit, in case they are going to be swapped out soon. I wouldn't want you to miss out :) The good news with that is if any are replaced by the time you read this post, the new gifts are sure to be just as lovely! I know of at least one time that a gift was replaced the very next day after I'd blogged it, so pretty much anything is possible. Just pop on that "I am Fabulous" group tag and come along with me...

My first stop of the evening was YM SHOP, where I cammed way up their group gift wall to find the Yolandi Outfit for FabFree :) They are quite generous as you will see. The lace trimmed dress comes in 5 classic and 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as sizing for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. We also receive shoes to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet, and the pretty purse in my left hand that has a built in holding pose. It is a very well-coordinated look which I greatly appreciate :) Classy and a touch flirty, don't you think?

We can ramp up the sex appeal with another black dress, the YoU By GeMyles Lorinda Dress. I do love halter necklines, and this is no exception. There are sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 15 lace textures for the bodice. As you can probably tell, they are somewhat sheer for the most part, some textures more than others, and I was impressed by the wide range of types of lace offered. To claim this treat, please right click the vendor image and pay $1L, which is immediately refunded to you while the gift is delivered.

Next I had some fun with the YoUnique Couture Delice Tee Trio gift, a delicate and shiny tube top with lace trim. We receive eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Signature, Star, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh body sizes, along with a 3 texture HUD. You can pair this with just about anything from skirts to shorts to leggings, but I reached for my favorite Delizio jeans which are a marketplace freebie that have become essential to my wardrobe :)

I also found a daring bodysuit from BWC called TakeTheRisk Strappy BodySuit, so obviously I took the risk and am sharing it here ;) The name says it all, and our group gift includes sizing for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD that offers 8 main colors and 4 metals, so it is very easily customizable. The rear is mostly teeny straps, so that view is even more intended for mature audiences. That's not a complaint, just explaining why you aren't seeing my bum on display yet again. 

My final look of the evening sums up the past weekend I think, and is a great choice for when you've had enough adulting or people-ing. Our Tastic-Nope Hoodie Dress group gift comes in Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a succinct "NOPE." across the front in white to match the seams and cuffs. If your RL weather refuses to recognize that the calendar says it's spring now (like mine), you might want to layer some jeans or leggings beneath this to keep those legs a little warmer. I am all bundled up at my desk right now, wondering if Mother Nature needs a reboot or an upgrade to some software somewhere.

Goodies from Off-Line

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some wonderful group gifts to take a look at, from "Off-Line" for their free store group. They recently put out their March and April gifts, 7 for each, and I'd been checking regularly for this exciting happening so you know it brightened my weekend :) I'm very grateful for their generosity as I've mentioned plenty of times before. All of tonight's looks are March gifts, and I'll be saving the April ones for the future since I'm sure they will still be there throughout next month. 

For my first look I am enjoying the "Off-Line" x Havoc / "Clarke" Set / Fatpack gift. It is packaged by sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and each contains the top and pants in baby blue, black, blue, chocolate, nude, olive, pink, purple, red, and white. I'm wearing the chocolate top with the olive pants on the left, baby blue top and blue pants on the right. They make for a great casual combo, don't you think?

Time to get flirty with the "Off-Line" x "Evie" Dress / Fatpack gift! These sheer dresses fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with each unpacker HUD holding plenty of colors - black, buttercream, cantaloupe, grey, lavender, lemon, lime, marzipan, nude, periwinkle, pigeon, pistachio, rose, salmon, spring, taffy, tangerine, thistle, turquoise, and white. It consists of the top and skirt for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with each size packaged with both pieces in plenty of colors. I'm wearing the pigeon top and skirt on the left, lemon top and thistle skirt on the right, and we also receive black, buttercream, cantaloupe, lavender, lime, marzipan, nude, periwinkle, pistachio, rose, salmon, spring, tangerine, turquoise, and white of each. This is a fun outfit for spring since it has long sleeves but bared midriff, and I'd be tempted to layer a bra beneath (BOM) if I was looking for a more bundled up style.

Since summer is right around the corner and literally just a teleport away in SL, I'm also very happy to share the "Off-Line" x "Jenna" Bikini / Fatpack gift. The top, bottom, and shorts are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a bikini HUD that offers 22 classic colors, 22 bandana prints, and 22 swirl prints each for top and bottom, plus a shorts HUD with 7 denim and 7 swirl prints each with black or white pockets. The buttons are circles with a horizontal line through each, and you click the upper half for the top of the bikini and the lower half for the bottom, or in the case of the shorts it is labeled which is for white pockets and which for black. As you can see from my rear view, the shorts come in handy to cover the G-string style thong bikini bottom ;)

I kept the bikini bottom and shorts on for my final look of the evening, which is the gift called "Off-Line" x "Octavia" Tank & Bag / Fatpack. This is a really clever style with a cropped tank top and a useful looking bag held in front of us by multiple straps, with unpacker HUDs for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. Each of those holds baby blue, black, blue, brown (seen on the left above), green, pink, purple (right above), red, white, and yellow versions. This will be easy to wear with your favorite pants or skirts, and handy for everything from roleplay to hiking to an amusement park trip :) Of those things, I have done the latter two and think something like this would have looked quite sharp, and practical.

This weekend felt quick I think, but my sense of timing is extremely wonky lately so yours might not have been :) It was my Sunday that was busy, with a therapy visit that opened discussions about my talk with my primary care doc and the plans I need to make related to that, and then somehow got to the farmers market I've been staying home from for several months. Guess what? I'll be attempting to go this coming Saturday 😮! I am torn between excitement and terror, lol, and part of that is that a few of the people there are going to make a fuss over my return and I do not want that. I am not comfortable with people paying attention to me like that I guess, so I need to keep track of how many booths I visit and how people react as 'data' for my therapist. I think it was last August that I was last there, so it's been far too long and I do miss the people there. If it goes well, it will be a huge relief and a boost to my progress :) If it doesn't go completely smoothly I have to try to accept that and not let it become a huge setback, and realize that just attempting to go is a positive thing. I'm a Shopping Maniac

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to be Shopping Maniacs with me, which we do simply by joining the free group of that very same name. There are lots of participating designers who keep the group up to date on their latest releases and sales, and many are offering free gifts for anyone wearing the Shopping Maniacs group tag to claim at their stores. That would be what I'm sharing this evening, at least a handful of them as a fun sampling. 

My first stop was RADEX, where I found the charming Mesh Naria All Colours Jean Dress as the gift for Shopping Maniacs. The bare shouldered dress has lovely layered long sleeves and a short hemline, and comes in sizes for Altamura Sofia, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It also has a HUD with it, that offers 14 great choices - 10 denim shades and 4 solid colors. The solids are completely solid, as in the lace sections from the denim texture options have gone completely opaque too :) It really does give a quite different look, so be sure to give all the buttons a click before deciding.

V8 Underground is a perfect place to visit for multi-designer type group gifts, like their **RUBY SERO BLUE DRESS AND PANTIES** for Shopping Maniacs. This flirty treat includes both pieces in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The colors looks like an indigo on my screen, absolutely stunning!

I can never resist a sassy casual outfit, like the Style#120 Set Love seen here from Mouse. This gift's top and shorts will each fit eBody, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Peach mesh bodies. The top has a playful trio of spaghetti straps to hold it up, and the high waisted shorts flare out just right at the legs. Did you notice the hearts and the tipped bottles dripping? Maybe it's love potion, as there is a heart on each bottle too.

Next we see the SORAYA DRESS by BA Store Gift which is one of several gifts available for the group at Black Angel. This eye-catching t-shirt style dress has a large camo print on it, but I do believe we will still stand out when wearing it ;) Sizes include Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. 

My final look tonight is also from Black Angel, and is called LAINEY Dress by BA Store Gift. I love the way the single shoulder top is balanced by the asymmetrical hemline, like the combination makes it perfectly imperfect :) The ombre captivated me too, going from coral to pale yellow to a tint of pale green. Whew, it's been a day...more looking up info on doctors, more frustrating news about who won't take my insurance and who won't treat me unless I am seeing one of their therapists instead of the one I'm currently seeing. I haven't made a final decision yet, but one possibility is a brief $200 session for a medication consult that will not be covered even a penny by insurance. I'm frustrated but this is the reality for people with mental health issues like my anxiety/panic, it is expensive and hard to find proper treatment. I am honest about it here because I don't want anyone else to feel alone if they have dealt with similar :) My dinner at my parents' went well, but unfortunately we've got a nasty storm headed our way and the farmers market has been canceled due to flood warnings. Bens Boutique Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking a look at some of the generous group gifts from Ben's Beauty & Boutique, whose store group is free to join. There's an entire wall filled with gifts outside, for not only their own group but several others as well, so I'm confident that you will find plenty of treats that you can claim and enjoy :) I've been a fan of the brand for ages, so it is a pleasure to share some of their wonderful gifts with all of you.

For my first look, I slipped into the Bens Beauty - Erish Set. This group gift includes the bra, skirt, and panty each in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Gen X Classic Dainty, Gen X Curvy Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn bodies. There is also a HUD included, with an impressive 45 colors for each piece as well as 6 metals for the buckles. I think the breezy styling makes this just right for spring, which I'm thrilled is officially here :)

Next we see the Bens Boutique - Steshan Sweatshirt, another generous group gift that has a fun touch of sass. The front says "FOREVER or never..." across the chest, on your choice of 20 leopard print textures via HUD. The shirt is just long enough to wear as a mini dress, or add some pants/jeans to enjoy as a tunic top. The gift fits eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. Some of the prints are very vibrantly colored, while others are more muted, but all are wonderful.

Bens Boutique - Paisle Set is another thoughtful gift that will liven up our spring and right on into summer with its satiny tank top and breezy shorts. Both of these and the chain belt are provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. As you can guess, there's also a handy HUD, with 30 colors each for top and shorts, plus 6 metals for the belt. If you aren't a fan of belts, you can always wear the outfit without it if you prefer since it's a separate attachment. Personally I think it's a cute touch, but my goal is to show you things you might wear rather than telling you how you should wear them ;)

This sweet look is the Bens Boutique - Sugar Dress group gift :) I genuinely wanted to call it sweet before realizing the sugary pun, then I just doubled down on it because why not? In sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, it is a single piece that can be worn to look like one or two depending on the color/s you select. There are 30 hues for each on the HUD, with 3 metals and the option to hide the little metallic bits. I think I might lean towards the single color look on this one, no particular reason and I could easily change my mind tomorrow. Those slender straps wound around the waist really create a flattering appearance!

My final look of the night is a full outfit called Bens Boutique - Darlene Set. This gift consists of the top, skirt, panties, and socks, each in sizing for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The HUD offers 20 colors for each so we can mix and match to our heart's content :) I'm sure you noticed the sheer fishnet sections, and since the entire bra is fishnet it is probably best reserved for mature audiences only. The socks make me think of legwarmers because of being footless and because I'm old LOL, but they are definitely a modern twist on the ones I recall. 

Whew, so I had my phone call visit with the family doc, and good grief was she slow...again...it was scheduled for 5pm, and at 6 she texted that she didn't forget me and would call shortly. It was 6:45 when she finally called, sigh, and I was exhausted physically and emotionally by that point. We agreed that I will be contacting a psychiatrist who can prescribe meds since this one isn't working and she is out of ideas, so that took some researching and I'll be contacting one tomorrow. If he takes my insurance, it will be a huge help and sadly a rarity. I saw one website (not the group I'm contacting, one who doesn't take insurance) say $900 for an initial session, the strangled gasp that escaped me did not sound like any human noise I'd ever heard before. The good news is that she can probably send someone to draw blood for me since I can't get to the lab yet and she can't refill my thyroid meds without checking my levels first since she'd get in trouble and her office would be audited (?). There's a service she is checking with and will get back to me. It was frustrating to wait for her, but I think it'll turn out to be relatively productive so I'm okay with it all. That really sums up my day, lol, and tomorrow is dinner at my parents' which is always nice. I hope you're all having a lovely day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Bluer Than Blue

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm not just tickled pink, I'm tickled blue! That's because I've got group gifts from the BLUE SL Event to share, hence the colorful title of my post. Last time it was Misty Blue, so I'm sticking in the same decade ;) Blame my 70s channel Music Choice which literally played the song just now! The song choices might be a bit melancholy, but the mood at the event is cheerful and generous. There are discounted offers galore, not all in the color blue (you'll notice the gifts I'm sharing are not blue) but it is a suggested theme so you can find some azure hued offerings. My first look this evening is the perfect combination of sexy and edgy :) It's our V-Twins (Gothicat) - Black Moon Outfit, a free group gift that is packed with possibilities. The dress comes in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes, while the boots are in versions with or without wings to fit Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn. The garters also fit Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, as well as a Maze version of each body size. We also receive the fishnet stockings in a BOM layer, easy peasy to add to our outfit :) The included HUD has tabs for each section, with 12 textures for the dress, 11 for the bows, 2 for the boots, 2 for the strings, and 3 metals each for boots and garters. The bows and boots are mainly shades of black, which is intriguing because I think sometimes people forget just how many shades there really are. You remember real quick if you try to match random black shoes to another brand's black pants or skirt!

I kept the skirt on because it was an ideal pairing for our gift from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called IRISH(ish) Tee. Why yes, as a matter of fact I did giggle at this :) Growing up attending Catholic school with many kids of Irish heritage, and having a distinctly not-Irish last name (German, but I am Italian on my mom's side which was the Catholic side) I was definitely one of those who identified as "Irish for a day" in mid-March. This shirt would have come in very handy :) It comes in 5 standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Lara X Petite, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions which is the brand's updated set of sizes after surveying their customers. I also love the unpacker HUD that lets you deliver just the size you need at the moment, then hang onto the HUD for future use.

My next flirty look is the Tastic-Lizzy Set Fatpack, a thoughtful group gift with much appreciated versatility :) The top and shorts each come in Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing, with a HUD offering 15 textures each for top and shorts, plus 11 colors each for the top ties and shorts edge. So you can really customize this with some fun prints and then match them with solid colors for the trim. I think the vibrant ones I chose here are delightful, but there are plenty of other types among the beauties.

Tastic's shorts make another appearance in my final look this evening, to help me show off the BQ::Hello Spring T-Shirt:: GIFT from BlondeQueen. The image on the front of the shirt is just fantastic, daisies and dandelions decorating the word Spring with a couple of winged friends as I see a butterfly and a ladybug enjoying the season too. In sizes for eBody Reborn, Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, the top is slightly cropped in the front but longer in the back for an intriguing style. I'm definitely glad spring is here, even if my allergies are not ;) SL is always safe from pollen though!

I had to laugh at my notes for the day's outing, to be dissected during therapy, which include a notation that I only screamed twice. I'm undecided if that is an improvement or not, as one should not be crying out in terror just from being in a car, but that's agoraphobia for ya. Honestly it went decently well overall, I just had a few extra stressful situations like a car turning in front of us. No humans or vehicles were harmed, and that is what I need to train my brain to focus on as the takeaway from the day :) Tomorrow I have a phone call visit with my family doctor, about which I have very little opinion since nothing has really changed since last time.
