Hiya everyone! Tonight I'll be sharing some more group gifts from the Doves Dream event, which is in honor of Palomma Casanova who was also known as Dove and the heart and soul behind The Free Dove. The event will be held annually and open on her RL birthday (March 11th), until the 11th of April so we still have a good amount of time to visit and pick up demos, make final purchases, and pick up lots of generous gifts :) Those are for the Palomma Plaza group, which is in the former location of The Free Dove and is on the ground level of the same region where you'll be visiting Doves Dream. That group is free to join and will allow you to claim all the gifts at Palomma Plaza as well, so it's one I am definitely holding onto in my group slots :) I miss Dove as a friend, and am so glad that her generosity and kindness are being perpetuated in SL to keep her memory alive.
For my first look of the evening, I am enjoying our Telsiope's Couture Perla gift. It is a lovely romper with spaghetti straps and fluttery legs, very stylish for the warmer weather of the season :) There are sizes for Kalhene, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 23 textures to choose from on two pages (use arrows on the bottom of the HUD to navigate). It made me smile trying out all the pretty textures, and it's like receiving almost 2 dozen different rompers for free!
Another nice gift I think you'll appreciate is this *Ydea* Party dress. It combines denim with a vibrant floral print, with single long sleeve and gathered/tied mini skirt. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing.
Time to get flirty with the *Pink Mango* Ofe Gift outfit! Mix and match the various pieces, which include the sweater, bra, panties, and sheer leggings, all in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. The bra and panties have the same polka dot print, and can be worn together as a swimsuit if you wish. I can also see wearing the bra and sweater combo with various pants or skirts already in my inventory, these pieces are just all so handy and versatile.
Our DANI Crystal Ocean Tube Dress gift from Designs by Danielle has a beautiful color, eye catching texture, and is cut low enough to be rather revealing ;) It is provided in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Lara X Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy mesh body sizes. It is a real head turner!
My final look of the evening combines two gifts that can be found in the center of the event rather than at an individual display. The {Le'La} Sunflower Dress is a lovely treat with dress and flowers accessory layer each in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Lara X Petite, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a terrific HUD included with 50 textures for the dress (mix of solids and prints), 30 colors for the heels, 30 for the flowers on the dress, and 30 for the flowers on the heels. Speaking of which, the {Le'La} Sunflower Heels are the other free gift right next to the dress in that center area of the event :) They come in similar sizes - Erika, Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies - along with an identical HUD. I've moved the shoes into the same folder as the dress, discarded the extra HUD, and renamed it with "& Heels" at the end to try to simply my inventory a tiny bit :) I think I mentioned yesterday that Dove's favorite flower was the sunflower, so much so that her memorial park she'd designed for her sister was called Sunflower Park and was fully in bloom with the beautiful blossoms. So you will see lots of sunflowers here in her honor, both hers and her sister's really.
It was a quiet day here, as I woke up with a headache (still there but less intense, whew) and didn't go anywhere or do much. I'm trying to decide on upcoming blog posts and schedules, as I try to make sure I give all of you sufficient time to get to events or find hunt prizes before the time runs out. It can be a lot of juggling on my end, but I do it because I know how disappointed I am if I read a blog post a day or two later and missed the chance to visit somewhere or have mere hours left. If you don't have time to read here everyday, it shouldn't mean missing out completely :) I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
