Palomma Plaza Meva & Melody

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I wound up visiting Palomma Plaza and decided while I was there, I might as well select some of the many wonderful gifts to share in this post :) So I am featuring two brands here, Meva and Melody, whose displays are neighbors and my link should give you an arrow to the spot between the two. As always I still encourage you to look around the entire main floor for the incredible quantity and quality of gifts, all yours for free with the Doves Angel tag from their group. I get sentimental every time I visit, from the familiar build to the reminders of Palomma Casanova everywhere we look. 

For my first look this evening, I am enjoying our Meva Brooklyn Dress gift. It comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 17 colors for the dress, 17 for the border, 10 belt colors, 10 for the laces, 8 each for metal 1 and metal 2, and 17 for the tassels. That adds up to a considerable amount of possibilities, and I love that about HUDs. 

MELODY has an impressive 4 gifts waiting for us, like this MAYSSON DRESS FATPACK. Its dress and sleeves are both included in Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. There are also two HUDs, solid and latex, which each let us choose from 20 colors apiece for the straps, dress, sleeves, and ruffles. The latex is on the left above, and the solids HUD used on the right shows a lacy ruffle on the sleeve instead of sheer and shiny. 

The Melody Kalila // FATPACK gift is a two piece outfit whose parts are labeled up and down, a cropped top with crossed straps and bikini bottoms with high waist but also high cut legs. They both fit Classic, Curvy, Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD that offers 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for each piece. The pattern is a cute lion with hearts around it, with the background colors matched perfectly to the solid hues we can pick from. 

Next I changed into the MELODY Voodoo Girl FATPACK gift, but please don't try to stick any pins into me! ;) This playful dress has bare shoulders and ruffled sleeves, with a tight bodice that leads to a flared short skirt. The stitches and patches you see are the same in any of the 20 background colors for the top, sleeves, and skirt that you pick out from the enclosed HUD. Our dress itself is provided in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kalhene, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

My final look of the night is the daring MELODY SARAH DRESS FATPACK gift, which has an open weave to the fabric so it is a bit see-through. There are Kalhene, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with the HUD that has 20 color options for the dress. I'm amused that the color I chose on the left reminds me of a lipstick I wore in the 80s, and the one on the right is definitely giving highlighter vibes! Fashion is cyclical, and everything old becomes new again :)

Midnight Blue

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are headed to the BLUE SL event, where you can find lots of wonderful exclusive offers for $50L as well as other special sales items. If you join their free group, you can also pick up some lovely gifts this round, which lasts until the 8th of May. Most of them are in octagon-shaped gift boxes, silver with blue ribbon and bow, you can't miss them :) I had a good time visiting as always, and always enjoy coming up with songs that have "blue" in the title to use as my post titles. I did it once, liked it, and just kept on doing it, LOL, so this time I went with a title that I know of two songs by the name - by Lou Gramm and Melissa Manchester. As an 80s kid/teen the Lou Gramm one came to mind first. What's your favorite 'blue' song? By the way, the sales items and gifts are not all blue in color, in fact there is a wide variety and I'd say there is a theme of farewell to winter and welcoming warm weather.

My first look is the Cady Bikini & Skirt Set Black gift from Allure Couture. The top, bottom, and sheer skirt (sarong) are all provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. While this set would look amazing in any color and pattern, I think the ghostly white blossoms on the black backdrop are a fun choice for those who enjoy spring but also dress more on the dark side of the color spectrum :) 

Another treat with some sheer fabric for a playful feeling is our InStyle GIFT Set *Easter Bunny*. The bodysuit and separate ruffled collar each fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I love the yellow polka dots that are layered onto the yellow material, subtle and fun :) Also included but not shown are thigh bows for Maze mods of each body that the bodysuit fits (I do not own any Maze thighs to show them off) and a pair of bunny ears. I figure since Easter is over, you've probably seen more than enough bunny ears for the time being, and you certainly know what they look like ;) Not discouraging you from wearing them if you wish, more trying to make a point that the outfit can look wonderful either way.

Next we hop along to the [LS] EASTER BABY PIJAMA ROSE gift, and yes that was a lame pun because of more bunny items. This time we see not just the ears but the head and upper body of a sassy girl rabbit with pink sunglasses, a big bubblegum bubble, and a peace sign held up above the words "Bunny Babe". The pajamas are actually one piece with the look of two, in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. She really does look like she's having a great time!

Our 3 Sisters - Darlene Bikini gift is absolutely ready for summer, thanks to the revealing style and that eye-catching rainbow tie dye pattern! There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies each for top and bottom, so I switched from Lara 5.3 to Lara X for this photo and the next. The bum is definitely shaped differently on Lara X, so it actually is noticeable that I changed bodies from the rear view. I genuinely like them both, so I just wear whichever matches the sizes of clothing I'm about to wear. 

My final look of the night is really appealing to the nail polish obsessed part of my soul :) The new manicure here is our .:YASU:. UN01 - The cutest nail Pink gift, a stunning color that leans either orchid or lavender on my screen, accentuated with white stripes on the pinkies, polka dots on the index fingers, and a dainty heart on the cuticle area of the middle fingers. 5 stars, just as cute as advertised in its name ♥. There are sizes for Belleza, Belleza Gen X, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Signature Alice, and Slink mesh bodies. Just hide your nails with the body's HUD and add these mesh beauties, easy peasy. I really need to polish my RL nails one of these days, but it's not going to be anything this elaborate because I don't have steady enough hands anymore.

Today brought an unexpected outing, as initially I thought the housemate would want to plan something for Tuesday but decided in the morning that nope, we're going out in the afternoon or early evening. We headed to a local grocery store that specializes in local, organic, some gluten free, generally healthy foods, almost like a tiny Trader Joe's type of place. I picked out a few things and tried my best to stay calm or distracted from my anxiety, and I did okay until the last half of the ride home. Somehow my anxiety tends to decide HEY that's enough now, we need to be home immediately, which of course isn't reasonable or possible. I obviously got home safely, albeit later than expected, but nothing that interfered with my blogging :) I'm eager for the new month to start so we can explore more in SL with new rounds of hunts and events, but of course there are still plenty of stores to visit all year round. Scandalize Sunday

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm back at SCANDALIZE, upstairs in their group gifts skybox which is loaded with several rooms' worth of gifts for their group and some for Beyond, the store with whom they share a region. There is a teleporter at the front desk, hot pink text that says 100+ Group Gifts. When you click it, you'll be brought up to a treasure trove of treats, and the ones tonight are found in the room that is two to the west of where you land. So have your mini map open, face west, go through two doorways and you're there :) Seriously this place is packed with goodies that are worth FAR more than the $20L fee to join this group, and I believe the Beyond group is $99L at the moment if you wander in the other direction. Both brands offer a wide variety of styles, and generally include HUDs to allow us to change up the looks. My first outfit this evening is our SCANDALIZE. ALISHA. FATPACK group gift. It's got the top in solid and transparent versions, jacket, pants, and heels included, each in sizes for Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. Even our belt has a HUD with 5 metals to choose from :) I love the way the top is laced together in the back, and tied with that long draped bow that dangles down to the skirt. The skirt has a draped tulip feeling to it that I am also a huge fan of, while it really hugs us in the rear to flatter the booty perfectly.

It was an allergen-filled weekend, lol, but otherwise pretty good. We lost power briefly this morning but I have no idea why, not a weather issue or anything. Designer News Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is packed with variety, thanks to the Designer News group and the many brands who are a part of them. There are lots who offer gifts for the group's members, so just join for free if you aren't already in this group and head on over to each store to pick up the treats :) I am a huge fan of multi-designer groups for this reason, and the opportunity to get updates from tons of stores in one spot. The weekend just feels like a good reason to explore, ya know?

Our first stop of the evening is AVAgirl, where I headed upstairs and grabbed the flirty Mica outfit for Designer News. The blouse, string (thong), and tie are each provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizing. It's also got a HUD with 5 colors for each piece, and a pair of BOM stockings in sheer white with straps and bows on the top :) They really do add a special little something, and I do need to note that the blouse is sheer in every color but more so on the lower portion. That's why you can see the thong through it from the rear view. 

Arcane Spellcaster is well known across SL for their exclusive bento and mesh offerings. If you follow the arrows on the floor to the group gifts room, you will find this fun top in different colors for so many groups, a treasure trove! The Top Katyna bright Jeans is the Designer News version, bringing a splash of denim blue to this cropped halter with sheer collar and band. It has been designed to fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

At this point I swapped to the Lara 5.3 original from my Lara X body, and changed into the charming BoA DeSiGN Floral Cardigan gift. It is one of several groups' goodies you can find here, a stunning deep navy with flowers in shades of pink and yellow. The top comes in Maitreya and Slink Hourglass sizes, and ties loosely in the front to produce a beautiful cascade of ruffles down the sides. It's fairly long in the back too, just so pretty! We can layer it over pants, skirts, leggings, bras, tank tops...there are plenty of possibilities out there.

There are 5 fitmesh standard sizes, along with Freya, Isis, and Venus each in Natural, Pushup, and Perky versions, plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. That's a lot of potential! I love the deep purplish hue too, adds to the mysterious feeling.

It was a decent day here, with a very rainy Saturday ahead that will probably include some wicked thunderstorms. Eek! I'm ready to stay home, possibly in bed lol, just to relax and prepare for next week. I was looking for a gift for my cousin's baby, and there are too many adorable choices so it will take me all weekend to decide at this rate ;) The suggestion is clothing for summer, so I saw a few shorts sets and some onesie sets that have potential. Otherwise I plan on enjoying some Hello Kitty Island Adventures, and then therapy on Sunday. My allergies are still in high gear, so I am crossing my fingers that things calm down there too. Redeux Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are helping the Redeux Event celebrate their 8th anniversary, which is an impressive accomplishment and I offer my heartfelt congratulations to them :) As we often do in SL, we celebrate events with gifts for the shoppers, all yours for free with their VIP group which is also free to join. I'm "Not Toxic, just Spicy", even my shirt agrees! This is our Manikin - Q-Tees Tank Top - Retro Edition - Spicy gift, a clever tee in a rosy pink with cream colored wording and trim. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included. It's extra funny for me since my diet for medical reasons is as far from spicy as possible, but that doesn't always keep the spice out of my attitude ;) It's generally when people get spicy with me first, so this top can serve as a warning to keep people from provoking us I guess.

For a different type of spice, be sure to claim the zOOm - Gothic Corset GIFT too. This sexy treat has rings that resemble piercings on the nips, and upside down crosses both front and back. It's got a great crushed velvet type texture, and the neckline is trimmed with a blue floral pattern ruffle. Also noteworthy is the zipper in the back, explaining just how we wrangled our way into this close fitting beauty :) The gift consists of Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing.

The lovely TRES - Luz Choco corset dress made me think "flapper" since the ruffles resembled fringe at first glance somehow. I'm loving the rich brown color too, definitely chocolatey! We receive sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The TRES brand is a collab between Faida and Velvet Whip, so there is impressive skill and experience behind this name :)

For my final look of the evening, I changed outfits and bodies ;) The Mayhem Marlina Romper fits Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, and Reborn mesh bodies, so I swapped my Lara 5.3 to X. Speaking of changes, we can select from 30 different patterns via HUD, so we get to switch up this look as often as we want. It's like thirty different looks all for free, who can resist that? The bodice is fairly revealing, with that slender strip of fabric across to keep 'the girls' in place, and the leg cut seems to transition from modest on the sides to a little peekabooty from behind. I think the patterns are very fun and festive, so it is a great gift for an anniversary party.

My day started stressful, but I'm in a pretty good mood tonight after a fun chat with a friend while playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure together :) Multiplayer games can be a mixed bag, but this one seems to work out really nicely, and teamwork really can improve the game. Her game crashed as soon as we logged in, LOL, but once she came back (we were texting and I knew what happened, then phone call) it was all good for over an hour. Before that I'd gone to a nearby park, not the closest but the next town over, so we just extended the distance slightly. I had to pass by the dentist office for that added surge of anxiety, lol, which is actually a good thing for expanding my limits and boundaries. It's like if you pull a muscle and then have to stretch it slowly, a little more each time, to help it heal and let you use it again correctly. Whew. Tomorrow is dinner with the parents, and then Saturday the dingus owner of the farmers market canceled it because there will be thunderstorms in the afternoon, like after the market closes. Sigh. He pulled this crap all winter if there was a 10% chance of snow, now he's doing it again and ruining people's plans. I feel so badly for the vendors, who all bought ingredients and prepped food for sale (and posted on social media last night in several cases) before finding out today that it was unnecessary. GGVG Group Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to be able to share some GGVG Fashion group gifts with all of you :) Their group is currently free to join, and they have at least a dozen treats for us. If my landmark doesn't take you there directly, please go to a teleport pad and click the Group Gifts bar to be whisked away to the correct location. I had been checking this store for a while now, and they were in the process of remodeling which also rearranged their available gifts. That's why it is exciting to finally get to show them off, and I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

My first look is the elegant GGVG GROUP GIFT NADIA DARK BLUE gown. This treasure consists of the mesh gown and separate sleeves, each in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu, as well as an optional flexi skirt which I'm wearing on the left. It adds fullness and dimension, and flutters when you move :) There is even a bit of a train in the back when wearing it. On the right I took off the flexi and the sleeves for an idea of what it looks like in its more simple form, which I think points to the fact that simple is not a bad thing by any means. It all depends on your taste and where you're headed I would think.

The LARISSA 1 is on the left, and I'm wearing LARISSA 3 on the right, so yes that does mean that #2 is the one not shown ;) It has purple and black tones, very pretty as well. The sheer fishnet sarongs look dreamy trimmed in satin, don't ya think! A random thought that popped into my head is a line from a Jimmy Buffett Song, Boat Drinks, where he is lamenting the cold and says "I've got to fly to Saint Somewhere". The lyrics also say "I gotta go where it's warm" several times, and I'd say these group gifts say that at least three times ;)

OSMIA Hunt Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight finds me wondering why I keep finding out about more Easter hunts after the actual holiday, like the current OSMIA hunt for Easter eggs. There are 8 of them, completely free with no group tag needed, but I promise the contents are not strictly Easter themed and are more suited for spring or warm weather :) The sign indicates that the hunt gifts are available until the 30th, so you've got about a week or so to explore their store, inside and out. I was actually a bit surprised by how many were outside, so think of places that a RL animal might hide things in nature as well as checking every nook and corner. Because the pastel colored eggs are on the small side, it was a bit tricky but I just took my time and had fun with it. 

My first look is a combo of two similarly named pieces that certainly look like they are intended to be worn together :) The OSMIA - Mabel Blouse has fun white cuffs and collar to contrast the coral pink of the main fabric, and it fits Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. Then our OSMIA - Mabel Skirt is the same warm pastel pink hue, designed to hug our curves and bare the midriff. This prize includes Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. 

I've got another pairing to show you here, but both of these separates are going to look fabulous with whatever else you decide to wear with them too :) Our OSMIA - Stormi Top prize is a romantic bare shouldered tube top with sweet ruffles trimming top and bottom hems, just like the barely attached sleeves. I really like the subtle floral print too, tiny touches of pink that really catch the eye. For my final look of the evening, I am feeling pretty in the OSMIA - Cecelia Cut-Out Dress v.2 prize :) The daisy pattern looks so pretty against light blue, and the design is such a flirty one with the sides open and tied at the hip :) There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included. It makes me want to tuck a daisy into my hair, or carry a little bouquet of wildflowers when I wear it. 

Usually if I stayed home and didn't do anything interesting I'd call it a quiet day, but it was actually quite noisy :P  Someone was using a stump grinder or some ultra-loud machinery outside, and I was trying to nap which did not go very well. Isn't that always fun? I am watching hockey playoffs (my team isn't in them again this year, sigh) while I type this, as I usually do this time of year, and have another random case of the hiccups. Malus Park and Aggressione

 Hiya everyone! Tonight our focus is on variety, as there are two terrific hunts I am bringing to your attention. First is the Malus Park Hippity Hoppity Hunt, which has us seeking different colored eggs in the southwest corner of the Malus region (Zen gardens, Memorial garden, The Refuge, and oceanside dock). The eggs are each $10L or less, and there are lots of talented designers taking part as usual. Then we are zipping over to the Aggressione store, where there is a hunt for free Easter baskets filled with colored eggs. I could not find an ending date anywhere for this one, not in their group notices and not on their social media, so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that they are still there when you visit!  Hiya everyone! Tonight I discovered a wonderful Easter sale going on, brought together by several familiar brands and running until the 28th of April. If you are a member of the Fashion Sales group (free to join) you can even claim a bunch of generous gifts, and there's a sign with a link to their Primfeed post where you can sign up to win lindens :) I know Easter is coming to a close, but I purposely chose some of the gifts to share tonight that are not specific to the holiday...no bunny ears, no eggs, just lots of variety and flirty style.

First I tried on the lovely CH - DOMINIC FATPACK gift from Charlotte. This bare shouldered dress has an attached corset style belt, and fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD (which has the brand Sugar Dolls on it) that offers 41 colors each for the dress, belt, and buttons, plus 2 metals for the buckles. This is the type of extra short dress that can also be worn as a tunic top, just layer some leggings beneath and you're ready for a cooler weather outing.

Another gift box contained this BLK ~#13 gift outfit, and I am instantly a fan! The cropped sweater and miniskirt with belt are each provided in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD has 15 colors to choose from each for the top, skirt, and belt, as well as 3 metals for the belt's hardware. The butterfly that has landed on the belt is probably my favorite detail of this look :) 

One of the treats from Sugar Dolls is this sexy [SD] EMBER outfit, a one-piece bodysuit with skirt and lush fur trim. The HUD has some Christmas or winter themed patterns among the many possible choices, yet enough non-holiday patterns and solid colors to vibe with any time of year :) Aforementioned HUD lets us pick from an amazing 53 textures each for the main outfit and the trim, some seeming more sheer than others. The outfit itself is provided in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, each with a version labeled 'blink' too. That one looked brighter but not sure if I saw actual blinking like a light flickering, so I'll suggest you try them both on and see which tickles your fancy.

[SD] DOROTH is another sweet treat from Sugar Dolls, with lots of flirty potential. The dress and a top-only version (if you want to pair it with pants, shorts, a diffferent skirt, etc.) are each included in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a HUD that offers 50 textures for each. That would be 25 solid colors, and those same hues but in fishnet versions as seen on the right above. Cheeky, but I do think that could be part of the appeal for many. I think it's got lots of sex appeal either way, so it depends where you want to wear it. 

One more look of the night, we have the BlackBarry goodie called BB - 399. It is a ruched mini dress with separate sleeves, both of which fit eBody, Juicy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The HUD (because yes, you knew there was one provided, lol) has a whopping 54 color choices for each, so you can tint your sleeves and your dress different colors if you even choose to wear the sleeves at all :) Hooray for versatility! I do appreciate it greatly, and these particular stores do tend to create HUDs for their outfits so we aren't locked in to just one color.

It was a noisy and blah kind of weekend here, and I must say it is odd when 4/20 🍃 and Easter and Wrestlemania all coincide. I don't celebrate any of the above, LOL, other than a secular type of Easter thing, but have been seeing some really amusing memes about the first two colliding. The houseguest is still here but leaves in the morning, so I will be able to stop sneezing (cat dander, I'm convinced he either never showers or never washes his clothing because no actual cat is in the house) and not feel like a prisoner in my own bedroom.
