Gifts for Designer News

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking a look at several Designer News group gifts. As you may already know, the Designer News group is a multi-designer group that is currently free to join, so you get lots of helpful info in one place. The group notices are packed with updates about sales and new releases, and many participating designers offer gifts for the group in their main stores :) I spent some time exploring, and am pleased to show off what I found!

For my first look I visited ***Sunflower***, where their DRESS FATA PINK is our generous free gift. This charming one-shouldered mini dress has sheer sections down the bodice an open midriff in the front, with a fun strap that acts as a belt. Our gift includes Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes.

This lovely choice for a warm summer day is our ::Leibah:: Kohtah Bikini silver and green v1 gift. Its bra and bottom each come in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The silvery strips have a sparkly texture that really caught my eye, and the style is flirty yet on the modest side.

Next I've got another terrific bikini to share, our {Le'La} Aika Swimsuit Gift. The animal print adds to the flirt factor, and I've always been fond of the string bikini's classic style. We receive separate bra and panties here, each in Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes.

The [Sexy Princess] Nancy Jumpsuit is a playful look in bold cow print, with bare shoulders and three jauntily tied ribbons - one on each upper arm and one around the neck as a choker :) It's all in one easy to wear piece, which comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is the .YIA. Xena Bodysuit TOFFEE treat for the Designer News group. It's got some serious hardware with all that golden metallic trim, and I'm really enjoying the cutout in the back! There are eBody, eBody Reborn, Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes included in this thoughtful gift. 

I haven't have very good luck with my teeth over the years, taking after my dad's side of the family in that regard. So I shouldn't be too shocked that my dental visit yesterday will be having a big unpleasant follow-up next week, a redo of a root canal and crown on one of my upper molars. I am already worrying and fighting my anxiety, so it is going to be a long wait till Wednesday. Meanwhile I am trying to keep myself distracted as much as possible, and I am grateful for Xan's patience and support as always :) He is dealing with a big adulting type issue at the moment too, so we are quite the pair. Yasum Dollarbies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like you to join me at Yasum, as they once again celebrate new releases by offering one of the colors each of several items for just $1L. You'll know which ones by hunting for the purple balloon dog image above it, an example of which can be seen on the wall behind the desk in the New Releases department. My link should give you an arrow there, or you can look for a teleport sign and click the area's name. These treats make me so happy, as they are all wonderfully crafted and just so fun to wear :) There is no ending date given for these mini hunts, so I simply suggest to get there as quickly as you can.

I started out with the Yasum*Cho-Set*Berry, yours for just $1L in this luscious color. Our tiny top and loose fitting cuffed pants each come in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizes, with a HUD that offers 10 metal tones each for the buckle, metal, and dollar which is a charm dangling from the belt. We also have the option to turn the dollar sign 'off', and clicking any metal color for it will make it magically reappear if you change your mind. Personally I am a big fan of the way the top is laced in the back, and designed to resemble suspenders with bitty bra cups attached.

I'm so excited that the Yasum*Amida-Set*Purple is the chosen color offered for just $1L of this terrific outfit, because it's my favorite! The low cut cropped tank top and joggers are accessorized with a scarf and pendant both attached to the left hip, and all of these will fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is a HUD provided as well, with 6 metals each for the scarf M(metal trim?), chain P(ants), metal, and chain T(op), plus off buttons for the scarf M, chain P, and chain T. The chain T is the metal you see encircling the hem of the tank top, and the chain P runs along the seam from waistband to upper thigh. You can see the scarf is trimmed in metal too, but you can always turn that off if you prefer.

Maybe you're in the mood for something flirty and brightly colored, like our Yasum*BunBun-Dress*Rose dollarbie :) The dress, panties, and bunny add-on are all designed for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and there is a separate package enclosed with sparkle add-ons in the same pieces and sizes. I am wearing all of them here, sparkles too, which is hard to tell in a still image of course but there are tiny silvery twinkles all over. The bunny is a fun option on the front of the panties that you could leave off if it's giving too much Easter vibes for your liking. I just enjoy wearing clothing with cute animals regardless of the season, so yes please!

Next I slipped into the playful Yasum*Veda-Set*Mocca, which is another incredible bargain in a fantastic color. It includes the bra top, panty, and skirt in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. There is also a metals HUD that offers 8 hues each for the metal, chain, buckle, and crown charm that hangs from the upper chain on the skirt. There's an off button for the crown as well. This style is just loaded with sex appeal!

For my final look of the evening, I have to admit that I try to be impartial and not choose favorites...but...Yasum*Bailey-Set*Sky would be it if you really made me pick one ;) Not that I don't love the others, but something about this one really captivated me. The halter top, short shorts, and balloon sleeves are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizes. There's also a HUD, allowing us to choose from 12 colors or 'off' each for the lace T(op) and lace S(leeves), as well as 8 metallic tones apiece for the belt and pearls that sit in the center of each set of rings of the belt. Apparently the way to this magpie's heart is to adorn her new outfit with hearts? I think the sleeves might be a bit much for this heatwave, so for tomorrow I'm going simple without them but still sporting the sassy belt.

I am taking tomorrow off from blogging because of the dentist appointment that has me more nervous than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. No idea where I got that saying, lol, but it fits me all too well anytime I have to be in a car so I'm sticking with it. The temperature will be close to 100 when I go out too, so that sure sounds fun. I had a nice evening though, chatting and gaming with a friend, which I always look forward to and appreciate. Mesh Body Friends Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post has several treats for the Mesh Body Friends group, which is currently free to join. Visit some of their participating designers and you just might find a gift for this group, near its sign that you can click for a link to join if you aren't already a member :) I'm always curious what I can find for these multi-designer groups, and I have had a lot of luck lately so I am feeling extra magpie-like these days.

FLAMINGO'S has a terrific treat for us called [FLA] Fantasy Dress. It includes the flirty dress and a thong to layer beneath, each in sizes for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It definitely calls to mind a certain fairy tale heroine, yet all grown up and very alluring.

I also headed to Pearl Fashion, where I found their lovely *PF::Maya2025 gift for Mesh Body Friends. The top and shorts will each fit eBody, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 8 colors apiece for the bra, ribbon, panties, and ribbon portions. As you can tell above, the ribbon colors go with the trim for the respective pieces, so it is all very versatile with lots of possibilities.

If you crave a curve-hugging mini dress, pop on over to Bens Beauty where their Vika Dress can be yours for free :) They have several gifts for other groups as well, including their own, like this flirtatious one that comes in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Kupra Ups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. The belt you see is separate in the same sizes, and there's also a HUD as I'm sure you guessed, with an amazing 50 colors to choose from and 6 metals for our belt. Change up the look all you want!

Next I happily changed into the Limited Addiction - LOTD 192 gift for Mesh Body Friends. It consists of the daring dress, upper arm bands, and bracelets, all in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. The dress caught my eye with the lacing on both sides and the back, plus who can resist the cleavage cutout? If you feel like wearing the dress alone without the arm bands or the bracelets, you can easily do so since they are each separate from the dress, making this a few different looks in one.

My final look of the night is our delightful ::PCF:: Lila Body Fatpack gift. It reminds me of a gymnastics leotard but sexier thanks to the openings, and is provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. The enclosed HUD lets us choose from 13 solid colors, 13 ombres, and 4 striped like the red on the right above. It's either meant to be zebra or tiger, when it's in different coloring I can never quite tell ;) This really gives me the urge to layer a loose skirt over it sometime, just one of these random thoughts that tend to occur when I try on something new.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was busy but decent, and my therapy gave me a lot to think about because of something he mentioned at the end. The clinic I'm working with has a support group for anxiety, virtual and free, so he asked if I'd be interested and I said yes, maybe (didn't want to 100% commit) so I expect during the week he'll email me or we will discuss it more next week. He did indicate needing to get more info about it, and he ran it for about a year when he started there, so maybe he needs to find out who is currently handling it and confirm the time, things like that. Otherwise we talked about my fears about the dentist Tuesday, and how I am wavering in my confidence about it from moment to moment. I was there 4 months ago, and nothing has really changed so I should be able to make it then too :) The weather was stormy last night, but should be clear for a few days. Scandalize Your Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited the Scandalize store again since I know they have a fantastic selection of versatile gifts for their new group. There is a $20L fee to join it, but I certainly feel that the large number of gifts upstairs are well worth that price :) The main store is being remodeled a bit, but the group gift area with several rooms is still ready for your visit. If you go into the main entrance and walk to the front desk, you'll see a sign with hot pink text that says 100+ Group Gifts, and it is clickable to teleport you up to the goodies. The gifts from tonight are two rooms to the west of where the teleporter brings you, and my link will either take you directly there or at least give you a red arrow/beacon to reach the correct area. I think that gives you an idea of the large number of gifts too, if there are multiple rooms filled with gifts from wall to wall.

My first look is our Scandalize. Spessiha. FATPACK group gift, and it caught my eye because of the business-meets-flirtation feeling. Its bra top, jacket, bottoms, and belt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, and there are plenty of HUDs too. The solid HUD offers 42 colors for the top, 42 solids and 22 patterns for the blazer, and 42 solids and 22 patterns for the bottoms. Then the strips HUD has 42 pinstriped colors each for blazer and bottoms, while the belt HUD holds 42 strips, 42 solids, 22 patterns, and 42 metals for the belt and its buckle. We can really get creative with all of these potentials!

If you have something more summery in mind, I'd love to suggest the SCANDALIZE. Blessiha. BIG FATPACK gift :) It includes the top, shorts, belt, and heels, each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. As you can imagine, there are also several HUDS for all of this, like the Top HUD that offers 42 solid colors, 22 patterns, 42 satin, and 37 extra patterns for the top. The HUD Top Straps lets us choose from 42 colors, 22 patterns, 42 satin, and 44 extra patterns, while the Jeans HUD has 22 solid denims, 22 patterns (dots), and 42 colors for the shorts. The belt HUD has 42 colors for the belt and 22 for the metals, and the heels have two separate HUDs. The first offers 42 solid colors and 22 patterns apiece for the heels and sole, while the heels extra HUD has 37 choices for each. Whew! If all that sounds overwhelming, I suggest just adding one HUD at a time while wearing all the clothing pieces, and clicking a few colors to see what changes and what you like.

Jumpsuits are so easy to wear, and this one has some fun added details :) The Scandalize. Shivana. FATPACK is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with various HUDs to adjust the look. Our Dots HUD offers 42 colors apiece for the top, strap, and pants portions, and the Pattern HUD has 40 choices each for top, strap, and pants. Then the Solids HUD has 42 hues for each section, and the HUD Straps Logos lets you pick from 20 different words or sayings for those straps across the back, as well as the option to turn off the text. I chose "SMILE" above, but they are all not quite so innocent and friendly ;)

This is one of those outfits that makes me think of what younger, skinnier me used to love to wear :) Our SCANDALIZE. Paisley. BIG FATPACK consists of the top, shirt, skirt, belt, and wedges, each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The Top/Shirt HUD offers 42 solids and 22 patterns each for top and shirt, plus 42 shirt strips colors. Our skirt HUD has 42 colors and 22 shades of denim for the skirt along with 42 colors for the belt and 42 metals. We also receive two HUDs for the footwear, starting with the wedges HUD offering 42 colors and 22 patterns each for the straps, strap (single rear strap that is) and metal. The wedges 2 HUD has the same 42 solids and 22 patterns each for the insole, platform, and sole portions of the shoes. Again, my recommendation is always to try out various buttons from each section and see what happens...you can't break it and you can always unpack a new set if you want it back to how it started but cannot find the right buttons :)

My final look of the night is a playful casual outfit that might come in handy for your weekend. It's called Scandalize. Yvelise. FATPACK, and includes the top, top leaky, sleeves, sleeves leaky, and leggings, each in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. The "leaky" pieces are perforated to have holes in them, and I am wearing that top and sleeves on the right above. As for HUDs, you know a list is coming, right? ;) The Top Solid HUD has 42 colors each for the top, sleeves, and seams, while the Top Pattern HUD has 40 prints for each section and the Top Leaky HUD offers 42 colors for those tops and sleeves. Then the Leggings Solid HUD lets you choose from 42 hues each for leggings and waist, while the Leggings Pattern HUD has 40 choices for each section. The Leggings Lace Strap HUD is where to find 42 colors and 22 patterns for the bow in the front, and at this point I think my brain tried to shut down LOL because my notes are confusing (big surprise, heh) but there are ways to adjust every section of every piece of clothing on one HUD or another. I'd also like to note that since most of these outfits have the same colors or patterns involved, shoes from any of them can easily be switched around and added to a different outfit if you prefer.

Another day, another weirdness...the new AC unit couldn't get us under 79 degrees during the day, so housemate was too heat-sick to take me for an outing like we'd already put off for 3 days. So if we both feel up to it (not likely on housemate's part to be honest) we will head somewhere tomorrow for my only outing of the week. I did go to dinner at my parents', so that is a little tiny something. I am disappointed but there really isn't much I can do, so I am trying to remain relatively positive with the intent to try harder next week. Palomma Plaza Pretties

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from Palomma Plaza, which is always a pleasure for me to visit. Once known as The Free Dove, it is now in memory of Palomma "Dove" Casanova and keeps her generous spirit with us by bringing together wonderful designers who offer gifts for the free-to-join Palomma Plaza group. There are treats for men and women, including clothing, accessories, hair, shapes, skin, tattoos, and plenty more. For this post I've chosen some gifts in the same area of the store, from 3 different displays near each other, so my landmark should give you a red arrow in the middle of all three. 

My first look is our Grumble-Mystic Cats Dress gift, and it is definitely on the steamy side :) Such a fun single shouldered style, loosely tied on the left with a large bow and featuring a multi-eyed feline on a dark lacy backdrop. It comes in sizing for Erika, Freya, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies.

The Scrappy Scorpion display has a trio of fantastic treats for us, like this Simple Summer Shift. It is provided in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a HUD offering 18 solid colors and 18 floral patterns. All the patterned options have a matching solid color trim, on the edges and the laces holding the V neckline in place. It may be simple as the name mentions, but it's also fun and flowy :)

Next I changed into the charming Tutti Fruitti dress from The Scrappy Scorpion. Its draped sleeves really caught my eye, very intriguing and unique detail! We receive sizes for Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a 5 texture HUD. I'll be honest, I've never had the ice cream this dress was named after but I wish I'd had the chance to try it! I did think of the song too, also a classic that is technically before my time but still gets the toes tapping. The colorful textures we can choose from all have a spring or summer flavor in my mind :)

At first glance I thought the Bom, Bom, Bom! FATPACK gift from The Scrappy Scorpion was an apron, LOL, which I have seen many of in SL and would have gladly shared that way. But as you can see, it's a very flirty dress with open back and scalloped skirt that goes really well with the ruffled sweetheart neckline. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Petite, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 10 patterns and 10 solid colors each for the dress and ruffles. I mixed things up as I usually do, but you can do a fully solid look or a completely patterned one, or go wild with the color choices too. 

For my final look of the night, I am sporting the sexy BFF Basalia's Fine Fashions - Ilyas Night out group gift. This eye-popping halter dress plunges down to below the navel, while the skirt just drapes across the bum without fully concealing the cleavage there ;) There are sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, as well as a HUD offering 10 amazing textures that are a mix of patterns like the sequins you see on the left. That one made me think of a showgirl, lol, and the one on the right reminded me of the old Twisted hunt cubes and the patterns it bore. I really do miss that hunt, but being at Palomma Plaza also made me sentimental for Dove so I am getting a bit sappy now ♥.

My day did not go as planned, since my outing did not happen and it was not because of me this time. Oh well, there's always tomorrow I suppose, although that would be immediately prior to dinner at my parents' which would make that extra stressful. Life has been weird lately, and I am almost afraid to look at social media each day with so many celebrities passing away the past few days :( They were all part of my childhood, teenage years, and a bit beyond, so it has been disturbing to say the least. I think it's making me mourn my youth too, little bits and pieces anyway. Gen X'ers are having a crappy week so please be kind to us. Stylish Gifts from Tiffany Designs

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to tell you about a special offer at Tiffany Designs, where we've been able to pick up high quality fashions for at least a decade :) They are quite generous too, as you're about to see, with several free gifts at their front entrance as well as a $250L gift card that we don't need any particular group to claim. There are 5 dresses or outfits in addition to the gift card, which I used to purchase two of the looks tonight without spending a single linden dollar of my own. Our ::TD:: Lina Dress [Mesh] gift brings the glamour and the drama! This single strapped dress has a bold slit all the way up the front, which made me reconsider several possible poses ;) You'll want to wear panties to ensure everything down there is appropriately covered, in other words. We receive Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Natural, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD that lets us select from 20 assorted textures. Some are shiny solid colors, while others have lovely patterns like the floral I'm enjoying on the left. Even the rear view is intriguing thanks to the straps creating a teasing opening to show off much of our back.

Next it is my pleasure to share the ::TD:: Adrie Dress {Mesh} gift, also yours for free outside the main entrance. The fringed hem immediately caught my eye, and wait until you get a chance to experiment with the texture HUD! It offers 20 different choices, including a couple of lacy ones like the one I'm wearing on the right above since the rear view was more modest than the front view. The dress itself fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. So pretty and flirty!

I did mention using my gift card, and to be more specific I browsed through the New Releases section which is when you first walk through the front door :) There I found this gorgeous ::TD:: Lucia Dress [Mesh] for just $99L, which was less than half of my gift card's balance of $250L. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 18 colors apiece for the string, dress, belt, and ruffles. The flat bows across the top of the shoulder straps (string on the HUD) are a lovely feminine detail, just like all the lace and the sassy ruffle at the hem. This is quite a bargain for something that can be adjusted so many different colors and combinations :) Please read the enclosed notecard for the explanation of the 2 versions for each size.

My final look of the evening is another selection from the New Releases department, and believe it or not another fantastic bargain at $99L (free with gift card of course). The ::TD:: Sara Dress [Mesh] includes both the strapless dress and the cropped knotted shirt to layer over it, each in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. You can tell there's also a HUD in there, and that has 20 colors to choose from each for the dress, ruffle, and shirt. The shirt will always be plaid with your selected color and black, reminiscent of flannel, and it is fun to be able to mix and match. Just think, I've got enough left on my gift card to cut the price of another dress or outfit in half :) More shopping, woohoo!!

I'm still using the heating pad on my neck and shoulder, which seems to be helping more today along with just the passage of time probably. It's been a quiet day at home, and I am probably heading out grocery shopping tomorrow if things continue to feel better.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we get the royal treatment from QUEENZ, as their group is free to join and there's a whole wall of treats waiting for group members. Their gifts are very stylish and fun to wear, especially since they have HUDs to adjust the color or texture so we get plenty of versatility too. I found lots of sexy designs and they are created with the curvy figure in mind, as you will see from the sizes provided.

First up, we have the stunning .Q. Forever -FTPACK- gift :) Such an intriguingly styled gown, it caught my eye with those side cutouts and carefully twisted front. It comes in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that offers 13 choices. Many of those are solids but there are a few patterns like you see on the left above.

I definitely feel like a sexy diva in our .Q. Sincere -FATPACK- gift! Its separate top and skirt will each fit BBW, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and we get to choose from 14 textures for each individually. The mixing and matching potential is always a plus, and I love the patterns we can find as well as the solid hues. The details make all the difference too, like the waistline dipping just beneath the belly button, and the daring opening in the front of the skirt :) 

A wonderful style for an elegant but flirty night out is the .Q. Elite Gown -FATPACK-. This gift has a single long sleeve, bare left shoulder, bare left leg thanks to the playful skirt slit, and a few openings on the bodice and midriff for even more sex appeal. There are sizes provided for Erika, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, plus a HUD with 14 color choices. As you can see on the right side, a few of those textures have a sparkly quality that I really enjoy.

Next I shimmied into the .Q. Ruthless -FATPACK- group gift that is ready to hug our every curve. The bodysuit and separate waist chain are each included in BBW, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a HUD offering 10 colors for the bodysuit and 2 metals for the chain. Those large openings down each side of the leg are so fun, and I'm loving the crisscross halter neckline!

One final look of the evening, this is the beautiful .Q. Riveting -FATPACK- group gift. It really does live up to that name, thanks to the crossed straps that almost form a star on the upper chest, and the bold cutout sides that bare the entire back. The skirt is really cradling that booty, isn't it? :) In sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Muneca, Reborn, and Waifu, this dress can be your choice of 11 colors or patterns thanks to the enclosed HUD. I think it was 3 of them that are patterned, and the one I chose on the right is a tropical treat for sure.

Whew, getting old sucks sometimes...my neck and shoulderblade are still sore from whatever I did to them in my sleep on Monday, so I am still achy but I did use the microwavable hot pack (I think it's called bed buddy) that just needs to be zapped for one minute and provides nice steamy warmth to soothe the aches. No, this isn't a paid ad, LOL, just feeling grateful and thought some of you might be familiar with these. It's a long double tube with round handles on each end, and I've been using it for my neck for years. Other than that, I played Hello Kitty with my friend a couple days earlier than usual because I had a rare item on my island that she needed, and we can shop in each other's stores when visiting without taking away from the other person. Animal Crossing was different, the item sold out once purchased by anyone, so this is a nice difference :) I was just glad she was available for some random spontaneous fun, and we got to have a giggly gab session on the phone too.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some generous group gifts to share, all yours for free if you pay just $1L to join the FurtaCor VIP group. There are many other designers who take part in this particular group with notices about sales, new releases, and more. Some also offer group gifts for anyone wearing this group tag, so that's exactly what I decided to show off tonight :) I stumbled across one, then remembered seeing another in my travels, and it snowballed into an exciting post so I am grateful for randomness.

My first look comes from TOG STORE and is their Anastacia Set FatPack. This sweet treat is just right for summer, with its bare shouldered top and fun knit shorts that each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for our gift with 40 options each to texture the arms, top, and shorts, so we can mix and match among the solids and patterns. It feels like we're really getting hundreds of outfits in one, all for free!

I felt both chic and seductive in our HORL - Dija Dress :) The collar connected to the tube dress makes the look a bit edgy, and that short hem is just as certain to turn heads. We receive sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies in this generous gift that we can liven up with brightly colored bracelets and earrings or simply keep the black theme going with appropriate accessories.

Another sweet summery treat can be found at BlondeQueen among their various group gifts. The BQ::Gea Swimsuit:: Red & Gray gift includes striped suits in each color mentioned, both in Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes. I really like the sweetheart neckline and the anchor on the front, which I think makes the stripes feel even more nautical. It's also worth mentioning that the modest leg cut means this swimsuit in either color can be worn at even family friendly beaches.

Next I changed into the lovely OPHELIA SET by BA Store which is our gift from Black Angel. It starts with the dreamy top, rather heart-shaped from the front view, and the crisply seamed miniskirt is a beautiful blue to coordinate with the ethereal pattern on the top. My final look of the evening is an outfit that can also double as beachwear. It has not been a pleasant day unfortunately, as I'd had a very weird dream that a sports figure ended his life (he is in RL legal trouble, a trial that should be concluded this week) and woke to find out that a family friend passed away. He was close to my parents' age and had some health issues like diabetes, but they have not said yet what happened. His store was closed suddenly on Friday for a family emergency :( It will continue since his son was his partner in the business, and they've always been surrounded by a supportive community. I'm being slightly vague to respect their privacy and my own. Sometimes the realities of life just hit hard, ya know? I also woke up with sharp pain in my right shoulder blade area so I probably slept oddly and now I can't move my head or right arm without stabbing pains. My intention was to go out tomorrow for an outing, but now I will have to wait and see how I feel because all the roads around here are really bumpy.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're headed to the BLUE SL Event, as you probably guessed from my using a song title with the color in it ;) It became a habit whenever I share group gifts from here, as I am impressed by how many songs have "blue" or any color in their names. The gifts you're about to see are yours for free with the event's VIP group tag, which is free to join. A couple of them needed you to pay $1L but it is automatically refunded while the gift is delivered, so no big deal. This round is open until the 8th of August, and not all the sales offers or group gifts are blue but you can certainly find some if that's your favorite hue.

My first look is the lovely GS Gail FITMESH Dress w/HUD gift from Gidget's Style. This flirty full length gown has a daring neckline to match the high center slit on the skirt, and I do love halter styles :) There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies included, along with a HUD that offers 8 colors for us to select from. I did go with a dusky blue on the left as a nod to the event name, but they are all wonderful colors. Quick note - the color HUD is no-copy so you will have to rez out the gift and unpack it manually, since we cannot copy an attached no-copy item to our inventory. It's a quirk of SL and important to remember anytime an unpacking HUD doesn't give you all of its contents...just check to see if anything in there says no copy. If so, go traditional with unpacking.

Next we see the playful Allure Couture Suki Dress Set Rose gift. Its pretty pink skirt, C-string (crotch covering), and shoes + socks (single piece) will each fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. My Legacy feet were not playing nicely with the shoes at any height, so I simply used the body HUD to alpha them out :) Sometimes that's the easiest way to get boots or similar footwear to fit too, if they aren't intended to show off any of the foot itself like a plain sandal would.
