Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a fun hunt to share prizes from, the Hot Ghoul Summer hunt which is goth/alternative themed and several stores are taking part. However I was unable to locate a website or list of stores anywhere, so I was thrilled to find out that Adora-tions has several free prizes hidden :) We are looking for tiny light purple bats, 7 flat images that are tucked into some creative spots. The prizes are so on-point for the theme, think Wednesday Addams or Lydia Deetz (Beetlejuice) having a hot girl summer. Yes, that concept made me giggle, but it is accurate as you'll see. There are 4 swimsuits, a shirt, and two beverages among our free prizes.
My first look is our Adora-tions - Crosses Rissa Bikini prize, one of two varieties of this same flirty style. Its top and bottom are separates that each fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with white crosses on a black background. The bottoms are a G-string type thong, very revealing and flirty :)
For more coverage but equally thematic and appealing, we have the Adora-tions - Black Polka Dot Swimsuit. This prize is provided in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The square neckline and halter strap are great details, and polka dots always remind me of a friend who had quite a phase when we were teenagers of wearing loads and loads of dots in all shapes and colors :) Did you notice I have a drink here too? That is one of the cups I mentioned, the Adora-tions - Witches Potion Drink Cup. It has a nice Bento hold pose built in, and the design on it tells you what beverage is inside, although that is still a broad category...it could be just about any magical elixir! I'd like to think mine is a calming potion, since that is what I'd need most in RL these days.
The Adora-tions - Bats Rissa Bikini hunt prize is a different texture of the first bikini gift I shared above, this one featuring the winged creatures that people tend to either love or hate ;) Associated with Halloween, vampires, and nighttime, they are shown in white on this black background so they are easy to spot. The top and bottom are provided in the same sizes as the Crosses version. In case you were curious, I don't hate bats by any means, but love may be a bit strong...I get startled when I encounter one flying suddenly in the evenings outside here, but I would never hurt one or try to get rid of them. I'm good with most animals, even if some I prefer to keep my distance.
I kept the bikini bottom on but switched tops to our Adora-tions - Goth Ghoul Summer Tied Crop prize for this look :) The bold color is sure to turn heads, then the image on the front will keep all eyes on you while people read the Goth Ghoul Summer above and below the mermaid with Day of the Dead sugar skull makeup. She's sporting a pretty flower in her hair, and drinking a rainbow hued beverage from a martini glass, so cheers to her! There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included in this fun prize.
My final look of the evening is the delightful Adora-tions - Black & White Stripe Swimsuit which is a variation of the one I shared in photo #2. You know this pattern is making you think of Beetlejuice, and now that I've typed it a second time in this post I absolutely cannot say it again ;) It is provided in the same sizes as the polka dotted one, and these stripes are fantastic for drawing the eye to your beautiful face and your figure whether slim or curvy.
I had a productive day off from blogging yesterday, with an adventure of an outing that I'm putting in the "technically a success" category ;) I went to an indoor Amish farmers market that I used to really enjoy visiting, but it is further than I've been okay with lately so my high anxiety almost made me bail less than a block away from the place. It was SO crowded, which had me spiraling because crowds are an issue as well. We went to a few of the vendors inside, and I was standing alone with the cart waiting (about to lose it) when I saw a woman with a stroller that turned out to be holding not a baby but a cute dog ♥. Focusing on them for a moment actually helped me briefly. I would summarize by saying I am glad I made it there but I wasn't able to actually enjoy the visit or get everything I'd wanted, but I got a few things and this may help my confidence in the future. I'm already starting to worry about a dental appointment in 2 weeks, so I need to reassure myself as much as possible.
