Gifts For MGSN

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're exploring some designers who are part of the MGSN Group, short for Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News. It is currently free to join, so the gifts you're about to see will not cost anything but a group slot :) Just look for the group's sign or logo in each store, and you will find plenty of generous treats waiting. Often these stores are part of several multi-designer groups, so be on the lookout for other familiar logos too.

Our first stop is KyaraFashion, where I happily claimed their .:KF:. GIFT MGSN Dress Ariel. This stunning strapless mini comes with or without built in panties, each in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu. We also receive a matching fur stole in a single mesh size that I would say fits most bodies, certainly worth trying it on :) I just burst out laughing at my own train of thought here...we used to call those boas, and OMG those are because of boa constrictors, aren't they? There is a snakelike quality about how it's wound around the arms. Did I just catch up with the rest of the world on that one? LOL!

This sexy goodie is our AJ_outfit ELYSHA gift from ANGEL"s JEWELRY. I didn't realize from the picture on the wall just how sheer our top is, so I might be adding some pasties to wear out and about :) The top, arms, panty, and skirt are all designed for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, so there are various ways to wear this by leaving off the sleeves or even the panties if you are feeling particularly racy. 

Next we have the lovely [COSMOS] Bahiah Top & Skirt Set gift, which was one of the first things I spotted when I landed and was so excited to see that it's a gift! We do have to right click and pay $1L but that will be automatically refunded while the gift is delivered. There are Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Petite X sizes each of the top and skirt, as well as a HUD that offers 20 colors each for the top, skirt, and belt. There are also opacity % buttons that I had a hard time with, because the writing is too small for my ancient eyes so I wasn't certain how to work them. It is just me, or does the outfit look mint chocolate flavored on the right?

Another gift I picked up on my travels is the ::T.B.O.M::Lorella Sporty Outfit from The Best Of Me. Our partly fishnet top and miniskirt each have white racing stripes, regardless of which colors you pick from the enclosed HUD - 8 for each piece. Both the top and skirt are designed for the Maitreya mesh body. 

The [If design] Love you gift is my final look this evening, and I'm certainly loving it :) We receive sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 12 colors. The sections mentioned on the HUD are Love you, border, and dress, and the picture shows the words "Love you" on the back above the dress to the right of our spine; as you can see it did not show up for me though. SL is not always kind to me lately, so hopefully you'll be able to get it to appear for you :) Even without, it's still a wonderful gift and I really appreciate the fun texturing and the ability to change the edges to contrast the main dress.

It was one of those days with plans changing at the last minute, but things worked out as well as they can with a sick housemate. I've got a sore throat that could be allergy related, and the housemate's issues seem to be in the sinus region only, so they are not to blame (probably). Renaissance Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sharing some wonderful hunt prizes from the free gridwide Renaissance Hunt XIV from Mieville Historical Hunts. We're looking for a potion bottle with a purple pansy on top, which you can find an image of on the hunt's website along with landmarks. Most stores have hint givers on the hunt signs in their stores (the same hunt object you're looking for) and some even have paths on the ground to point you in the proper direction. Xan and I have always been avid hunters in SL, so I'm pretty sure we have done all or at least most of these fantastic hunts over the years :) Our theme this round is A Midsummer Night's Dream, and the designers did a terrific job as usual with it. We have until the 12th of October to pick up all the potion bottles and enjoy the hunt.

My first look is the amazing ~MystRie~ hunt prize called Fairy Queen Outfit. Its top and skirt are each provided in a fitmesh M size along with sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The headpiece and wings are included as well, adjustable so you can get just the right placing and fit :) We can always wear the clothing without the accessories if we prefer, as the clothing is elegant on its own too.

I certainly do look (and feel!) magical in our Moonstar *V* Magic Pansy Dress prize. The floral patterned dress and matching mesh panties will both fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The golden flowers on the straps are stunning, and bring out the yellow tones in the pattern as well. The crisscrossed straps and layered skirt ruffles really catch the eye, and once again I feel like going dancing :) Weird coincidence, the song "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" is on my tv right now.

Another gasp-worthy prize is from the Meander pansy potion bottle, their M/M Judith Gown - Deep Red. I genuinely did gasp a little when I tried it on, lol, perhaps from seeing the long train, damask fabric, and attached belt that make this gown so luxurious! There are sizes included for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. I think I just need a crown with either rubies or garnets to reflect my (usually hidden) regal side.

Next I changed into the dazzling Alessia Dress & Belt HUNT by COVETED! prize. It has a rich embossed pattern and is delightful for the cooler weather with those long sleeves and full length skirt. We receive Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Legacy Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes when we find their potion bottle. 

My final look of the evening is our TMD Chiton of the Night prize from Thistle Moon Designs. This treat is a combo of mesh and flexi, as the attached trailing scarf in the back is our flexi that flutters with every movement. There are sizes for standard mesh bodies as well as Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Slink, and Venus mesh bodies. I love the way the deep teal color is shadowed to show off the drape in the front and sides, and it looks like velvet so I want to touch it ;) This will definitely turn heads, and like all of these looks I'm infinitely grateful for the free hunt prizes.

It was a busy weekend, but I'd say mostly good :) I did get to the farmers market, and I'm really glad that food truck was there again because their offerings are delicious. The way there and the way back were hard with my anxiety, but I felt more comfortable while there than I had the other times I'd gone. It made for a reassuring therapy session earlier, that's for sure, and I have a support group meeting tomorrow evening for an extra boost. The weather is still summery, so I slathered on plenty of sunscreen Saturday, and it's the kind with zinc so it made me look even more ghostlike 👻. I'm already Victorian orphan pale, heh, so it's amusing to look in the mirror and see myself even paler. The next few days are the quiet before the storm in SL, because lots of events and hunts will be starting in October to keep me ridiculously busy. Ready for Roslyn Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is your invitation to the Roslyn store, where the group is currently free to join. They've recently set out several gifts for September, so I wouldn't wait too long to visit if I were you :) I can't believe how fast time is flying lately, and it'll be October before we know it. Naturally that means I'm in a hurry, so let's get to it!

First we see the beautiful roslyn. bea midi dress. fatpack gift, with intriguing neckline and flirty slit on the left leg. There are Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with a BOM c-string panty and a HUD with 20 colors and 3 metals for the belt clasp. I really like the elegant style!

The roslyn. bianca dress. fatpack is another fantastic gift that you clearly don't want to miss out on. It's got sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included, along with a BOM c-string and a HUD that offers 20 solid colors and 2 patterned textures. I love the way the left side is gathered and tied with a long loopy bow, just to draw attention to our legs :)

This gift is our charming roslyn. x "Off-Line". sawyer outfit. fatpack, a collaboration with another brand I'm a big fan of, so it immediately got my attention. The dress looks like several pieces but is all worn at once, in sizing for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. We also receive not just one but two HUDs - one with the colors, 20 apiece for the top, skirt, long sleeves, and short sleeves, with the other HUD having the ability to change the sleeves from short to long to none at all. Like the other gifts so far, this also includes a BOM layer c-string panty, which has no straps and is simply a cover for the crotch. These are black so they will go with anything :)

Our roslyn. matilda dress. fatpack gift has a really romantic style with those ruffles, bare shoulders, and loosely laced bodice. It fits Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the HUD has 20 colors plus 3 metals to select from. Those dropped sleeves are such a playful way to show off those shoulders and accentuate the bust.

My final look of the night is our roslyn. miley outfit. megapack gift. Its dress and jacket come in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizing, with a HUD offering 20 solids colors for the dress and 28 textures for the jacket, 8 of which are playful plaids. This outfit also comes with a c-string panty as a BOM layer, so 4 of 5 looks tonight have one :) I know they aren't really visible in my photos, but I did really put them all on just in case. Somehow I can't decide if this outfit makes me want to listen to 80s hair bands or 90s grunge, LOL! 

It was certainly a whirlwind of a week somehow, and I am steeling myself for an attempt to go to the farmers market this week after backing out last time. The food truck that showed up a few weeks ago (my first time back) is going to be there again with breakfast sandwiches in addition to their usual cheesesteaks and chicken cutlet sandwiches, so that is good news :) Their food was very tasty, and I enjoy breakfast foods any time of day. Dinner at my parents' was nice, and I got to see a really old photo from my dad's side of the family for once. It was a wedding picture from the early 60s we think, his dad's half sister and her second husband. The dresses back then were all so gorgeous, and everyone looked so elegant :) I wound up playing Hello Kitty a bit longer tonight than planned, so it's a bit later than I wanted it to be...bad enough when one thing causes a delay, but when a few things in a row slow things down it's chaos. Blossie Beauties

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two of last night's post, because I am still very excited about the new gifts at Blossie (a.k.a. AppleBlossom, Blossom&Seeds, etc.) and their group being temporarily free to join. It's such a great opportunity to pick up their very first meshes for free, and claim your own little part of their history :) There was no date specified for the end of this offer, but the end of the month is rapidly approaching and I wanted to share more just in case. The group notice indicated that more gifts may be coming too, so hang onto this group if you can.

For my first look of the evening, I am enjoying the gorgeous Apl.Blossom Aurora Fatpack. This group gift dress comes in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us select from 20 solid colors and 10 patterns. I want to say that single sleeve's style is called Juliet (this is when I wish my friend who studied fashion design was a night owl like me, so I could ask) but I can describe it as puffed to the elbow, then tight to a flared wrist :) The bare left shoulder and short skirt make it as flirty as it is elegant.

Another don't-miss gift is this Apl.Blossom Argentina II Fatpack. We receive Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, and a HUD offering 20 solid colors and 10 patterns. The dress is satiny and fits like a glove, with scalloped lace at the hem.

Our AppleBlossom Wanda Fatpack gift has a similar style to the previous one above, but there are distinct differences like the lace bra cups and sheer side panels. In sizes for Alice, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, it can be worn in your choice of 20 colors thanks to the enclosed HUD. I really do love slip dresses in SL, so yes I do indeed need both of these! :)

I still need plenty of swimwear for visiting warm regions in SL and for the hot tub in my skybox, so the Blossom&Seeds Becca Bikini Fatpack is still going to come in handy. The top and panty are separates that fit Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and we receive a HUD for each piece with 20 colors and 3 metals. The details are wonderful, from the lace embossing on the top, cutouts and heart shaped hoops, and let's not forget the chain draped around the back of the top. 

I kept that top on for my final look, which is the versatile Blossom&Seeds Arizona Pants Fatpack gift. They are referred to as pants and shorts, but I'm going with high waisted shorts that come to right where the cheek meets the upper thigh ;) They're included in sizing for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD offering 12 textures. It was genuinely difficult to choose which two to share, since I was drawn to so many of them and there are no wrong choices. You've probably got dozens of tops in your inventory that you can wear these with already, so have fun pairing them up.

Gifts From Blossie

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a limited time offer, as the Blossie (formerly Apple Blossom, Blossom&Seeds) group is temporarily free to join. They've just put out several group gifts, 11 as of this morning, which the group notice describes as fatpacks of some of their very first meshes. What a thoughtful way to share their hard work, and to thank their longtime fans! I have blogged them many times over the years and have enjoyed it all, so this post makes me very happy :) 

My first look is the Apl.Blossom Ambar Fatpack gift, and I am sure this will come in handy now that fall is here :) The top, sleeves, and pants are all provided in Legacy/Perky and Maitreya/Petite mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD of course, with separate pages we can change by clicking the arrow on the bottom right. The pants page has 30 solid colors and 3 metals, then the sleeves page offers 30 solid colors and 10 patterns, then finally the top page has 30 solids and 10 patterns just like the sleeves. Very versatile, and we can wear the top without the sleeves if we prefer.

If you're already thinking about winter, be sure to claim the Apl.Blossom Viviana Fatpack group gift too :) Its sweater dress includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, and the HUD has 2 pages we tab through with the arrows on the bottom. They are for the dress and the sleeves, with each offering 20 solids and 10 fun patterns to mix and match. The patterns are mostly traditional sweater vibes like snowflakes and Christmas trees, but I couldn't resist showing the cute cats here too! The solid colors give our hemline a lacy trim, which does shorten the dress a bit so I would probably wear leggings or jeans beneath for modesty.

This romantic set is our Blossom&Seeds Arendell Fatpack group gift. The corset bodysuit and skirt each come in sizing for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The HUD offers 12 colors each for our top, panties, skirt, laces, flowers 1, and flowers 2, plus an on/off feature for the laces. I really like the way those laces have such pretty bows atop our shoulders, but the corset styling works just as well with them hidden if that's your preference :)

Next I slipped into the lovely Blossom&Seeds Bluebell Jumpsuit Fatpack. It will fit Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a sheer halter top tied in the back and snug pants that are zippered in the front and on each ankle. The enclosed HUD offers 16 colors for the top, 4 metal colors, and 18 colors each for the front and back of the pants. The top does have floral appliques on it, so the essentials are covered while keeping the look quite flirty.

My final look of the evening is the delightful Apl.Blossom Arabella Fatpack group gift. We receive the top, separate sleeves, pants, and chain, all in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. I'm sure you realized there's also a HUD, which has arrows to scroll through the various pages. We can choose from 20 colors for the pants front, 20 solids and 10 patterns for the sleeves, 20 solids and 10 patterns plus 3 metals for the top, and 20 solid colors for the pants back. It is fun to have that option to pick different hues for the front and back of the pants, just another way to bring variety to our look :) This definitely made me think of autumn, and I just might still be wearing it until I have to change for my next blog post prep.

I had no idea that a thunderstorm was headed my way tonight, so I was a bit nervous about that for a couple of hours but it seems to have passed through now, whew! I've been so focused on the Hello Kitty game DLC that I hadn't checked the weather other than for my outing yesterday. One particular resource in the game (a particular gemstone) is very hard to obtain, but perhaps playing with my friend online tomorrow will bring about results. Stylish Swank Sweets

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is chock full of SWANK Event group gifts, from their 11th anniversary spectacular. You'll need their free group tag active to claim these, just click all the globes you see with the golden 11 inside and the event logo. There are so many designers and just a plethora of gifts, I feel like I could easily blog nothing but this until the end of the month/event ;) The urge for variety prevents me from doing so, lol, but I really want to encourage all of you to visit and invite your friends both male and female since there are treats for all.

First up this evening we have the V-Twins - Ruby Outfit gift. The brand specializes in biker wear, and I must say this really shows that off well :) Our jacket, top, skirt, and panties are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with 2 HUDs to cover it all. The first HUD has 12 colors each for the jacket, jacket arms, top, and panties, plus 4 metals apiece for metal jacket and metal bikini. Then the skirt HUD offers 12 colors each for the skirt, skirt edge, opacity 25%, and opacity 50%, along with 4 metals for the skirt metals. Everything is on labeled tabs across the top once the HUDs load their scripts.

This lacy creation is our gift from JUMO Originals called ELLIE Dress Special. Isn't it gorgeous? The single shoulder strap is trimmed in lace, much like the bodice and the hem. We receive Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 8 textures. Those include 4 colors in either solid or floral. I will say that the lace on the bust is just see-through enough that for some destinations you may want to add some sort of pasties beneath to ensure the nips are peeping through ;)

Speaking of lace, the VIONA - Ballet Dress Outfit gift has some options that give us a sheer lacy look too :) It could just be because I've been watching Dancing With The Stars (rooting for Robert Irwin and Danielle Fishel!) but this top and skirt combo are giving me tango vibes and I am captivated. They will fit Freya, Isis, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Of course there's a HUD tucked in there as well, with 10 sheer and 8 solid color options for each piece. We can mix and match, but for some reason I was feeling matchy-matchy it seems.

Next I got to wear my favorite color, thanks to our Ruxy-Isabella Purple gift. It's worn all as one piece, with the look of a corset, blouse, and shorts, in sizing for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. The corset and shorts are accessorized with golden bows, and the blouse has such pretty ruffles and poofy short sleeves to go with the full pockets on the shorts :) Such a unique and playful look, don't you think?

My final look of the evening is a striking set of pointy nails, so pointy in fact that one thumbnail is accidentally piercing my lip ;) Our FF Original - Nail Bento Stiletto Glitter - Purple gift from Fatal Fashion is designed for Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic mesh hands. They're very easy to wear, just use your body's HUD to hide its built in nails and add the mesh set from this folder. This set includes a HUD with 2 textures, with and without glitter, so you can decide which one suits your taste and your outfit any time you wear them.

I went to the local Dollar Tree earlier, hoping to find those hand sanitizer sprays that sell out so quickly each time they stock them. They were out but the employee was kind enough to tell us when the truck comes in, so we can try again soon. Otherwise I'm thinking about my dad turning 82 tomorrow, marveling at how fortunate our family is to be able to help him celebrate it soon. Did all of you know that the Twisted Hunt will be returning in October? Someone in a group chat mentioned that it's a one-time thing, so not permanently back but at least we get to enjoy the difficult but worthwhile challenge once again :) I've missed it for sure. VARSITY Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited the VARSITY store, where the group is currently free to join and there are several group gifts each for men and women. I'd also like to mention that after you click the gifts on one wall, please turn around and you'll see a $600L gift card for group members on the wall facing the gifts. The card itself expires on the 30th of September, but once you redeem it, those credits will not expire. So please use the card to increase your store credit immediately :) Meanwhile I am happily sharing some of the currently available gifts for the ladies, and I'd like to note that they seem to cater to body brands other than Maitreya so if you have a harder time finding Legacy, Kupra, or Reborn for example, this might be your new favorite store.

My first look is our flirty [VARSITY] MONZIE DRESS - (FatPack) gift. The strapless dress has scooped sides and short skirt, in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. There's also a HUD enclosed with 16 texture choices which include 4 patterns and 12 solid colors. They all look fantastic, and I always appreciate the versatility of HUDs to give an outfit a whole new appearance.

Just because fall is officially here, that doesn't mean we won't occasionally need a swimsuit for those tropical SL areas or our very own private pool. The VARSITY / CLAUDIA PRAYA SET (FatPack) consists of the bikini and the kimono, each in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes. They are packaged separately, and each has its own HUD with 15 solid colors. The bikini is worn as a single piece, and the kimono is sheer but I must admit it seems more sheer in green than yellow above. 

The very chic VARSITY / MILAN DRESS (FatPack) gift has a bare left shoulder, long right sleeve, and choker style neckline so we don't even need to add a necklace. Each color is packaged separately in sizing for Erika, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. I'm wearing blue on the left above and rose on the right, but you can also select black, brown, cognac, green, grey, red, or violet.

The style of our [VARSITY] VICKY DRESS (FatPack) group gift immediately made me think of Jessica Rabbit! Our long column dress with sweetheart neckline and the evening gloves are each designed for Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm sure you can tell that there is a HUD also, and that offers 18 colors apiece to mix and match your dress and gloves.

One final look of the night, I changed into the sexy [VARSITY] "Aletta" catsuit - (Pack 01) gift :) This suit provides lots of coverage, yet has sheer sections that can be adjusted with the same HUD as the 6 color options which are all monochromatic offerings. So we don't get 50 shades of grey, just half a dozen ;) There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies provided. 

For a brief second there, my brain struggled to recall what day of the week it is, so the brain fog is having a moment I guess. My day wasn't too bad overall, and I am most likely going out tomorrow early evening because it's about time to do more outings. Dollar Tree is the likely destination so I can look for those hand sanitizers again, and maybe a few inexpensive snacks or beverages. Out of the Blue

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is brought to us by the color blue, well at least the Blue SL Event :) Their monthly rounds always have $50L exclusives as well as great sales from the participating designers, and several offer treats for members of the free VIP group. I'm a huge fan of the event, and developed a habit of naming my posts from there after song titles with "blue" in the title. I deeply amused myself by remembering that Debbie Gibson had one, but it's probably not the only song ever with that title. Did anything spring to mind for you? Oddly enough, none of these gifts are blue, but you can find some offers in that hue if you shop around.

My first look is the Codi Jeans Set Blush gift from Allure Couture. It consists of the jacket, jeans, and boots, all in sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The back of the jacket says "Sassy" in the middle of the design, and it made me think of the Pink Ladies from Grease who were certainly full of sass and girl power :) The clothing fits like a glove, hugging all our curves beautifully.

We can also claim the flirty Nut & Squirrel Rosalba group gift while we're here. Its cropped tank top, mini skirt, and boots are all provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn sizing. The top HUD offers 40 textures (mix of prints and solids), while the skirt HUD and boots HUD each have 40 colors to choose from. There's also a misc HUD that has 15 more prints for the top and 15 bonus colors for the boots :) Such variety, I love it!

I kept that skirt on, tinted it a fall hue, and added our BQ::Hello autumn T_Shirt:: White gift from BlondeQueen. It's got a dreamy pumpkin and leaf decoration on the front, with "Hello Autumn" written beneath to ensure that everyone who sees you wearing it will know that you're enjoying the new season :) It fits Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

Next we're taking a gander at the gorgeous J.E.F - Little Black Dress - GIFT. That playful halter style looks great with the side cutouts and golden clasp above the navel, and let's not forget the daring slits on each thigh! We receive sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. It looks like it'll be a fine choice for date night, or anytime you want to feel extra alluring.

My final look tonight is the Violet Skies - Sandy Outfit gift, and i think it does have some violet amongst those pretty colors :) The top and skirt are linked together and worn as one piece, in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Natural, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. Whew, that's a lot of body options! I used to be hesitant to wear mixed patterns like this, but the colors going together so wonderfully make it feel right. I think SL in general got me past that fear, as in RL my fashion choices are very simple and boring.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was frustrating as I'd expected, but I am doing okay. My stomach is still uncomfortable, but I am trying to stay positive. The annoying houseguest leaves in less than 8 hours, not that I'm counting every minute or anything...okay maybe ;) The cat dander from their clothing will somehow linger for days and get my allergies/asthma all stirred up, so there are physical effects as well as the emotional, but I'm trying to be optimistic. Still Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more SWANK Event group gifts to see, all from their 11th anniversary round. This means we're looking for glass globes with the Swank logo and the number 11 in gold, very pretty! Click each one with their free group tag active, and you'll be feeling like Christmas came early with all the generous gifts :) There are enough that I feel like I'll run out of time in the month (while the event lasts) before I run out of goodies to share, lol, but I am also trying to keep some variety and not bombard you with several posts in a row from the same source. Many thanks as always to the hardworking and generous designers for helping to make these events so special.

My first look of the evening is the beautiful GGVG GROUP GIFT DELORES. The strapless dress with mermaid style skirt and shrug jacket with puffed sleeves are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is also a HUD enclosed that offers 6 colors each for several sections - corset, corset middle, skirt, skirt middle, jacket, and jacket edges - plus 3 metals for the front of the corset. I realized after taking the photos that the blue and red combo I chose on the right is reminding me of a few well known superheroes, which is apparently an accidental nod ;)

Two separate gifts wound up creating a perfect pairing for this look :) The AXE Group Gift top is one I recognize from previous Pride themed events, with a flattering shape and pretty stripes. There are Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. Our AXE-JEANS GIFT PRIDE has the same eye-catching rainbow stripes and are designed like the classic jeans style we know and love but with a low rise and little slits on the back of the pant legs, just above the heels. I'll bet in RL that would make skinny jeans much easier to get into :) Our jeans come in sizing for Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

The {Le'La} Leonesio Outfit has intriguing potential, as it can be styled to be flirty or business casual. The jacket and pants are each included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with matching shoes that fit Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. We can easily add a BOM shirt to provide some modesty if necessary, like the business look I mentioned, and it will still be a very tantalizing outfit.

Next we go full formal with Sascha's Designs and their gorgeous SAS - Jovanna Mauve Gown. Isn't that color just glorious? :) The single shoulder gown has a sash or train on the right side, and the bodice is gathered and wrapped to really hug our figure. There are Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes included in this gift.

For my final look of the night, I slipped into the charming AVAgirl - Jules gift. It has a fun woven lace texture, for which you can select from 10 colors via the included HUD. In addition to the dress in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, we also receive a BOM pair of panties in white to wear beneath. I personally prefer to wear BOM undergarments whenever possible with mesh clothing, so if I rez in somewhere slowly or someone decides to derender my clothing, they will still see the BOM layer instead of a naked body.

It was a mixed bag of a day, with the Hello Kitty game providing most of the positive. Dinner at my parents' was nice, and they're getting together with some of my mom's cousins this weekend so she found more photo albums to show me that she will also be bringing with her. I got to see some really old pictures of my great grandparents, which is special because my great grandmother died when my mom was just a child and she barely remembers her. At least she can see herself as a baby and toddler, being held by her proud grandma in the photos :) The bad part of the mixed bag is having the housemate spring on me that the ultra-annoying houseguest will be here tomorrow until Monday, allegedly last minute decision but probably just kept from me so I couldn't have time to complain or make alternate arrangements. I get to spend all weekend hiding in here with just my pc and tv to distract me from their drunken debauchery, lol, doesn't that sound just awesome? Lots of nausea from stress, so the farmers market is a maybe at this point. The last 3 weeks going there got progressively harder, so that isn't helping matters much.
