Hiya everyone! Tonight we're hunting dragons, not in a violent way but for the Love The Dragon Hunt 6 :) These dragons are cute green plushies, and hold wonderful prizes for just $3L apiece. We aren't slaying them, just giving them a tickle (and a few lindens) to be rewarded with the prize they are hiding. Dragons are so intriguing, with mythology from various cultures either seeing them as good or evil, and I prefer to think of them as benevolent with perhaps a tricky side. We've all got that one friend who is a smart-aleck at heart who busts out with unexpected wisdom at times, that's my head canon about dragons ♥. These will be available to find in participating stores until the end of the month.
My first look is our stunning The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. DREAM DRAGON Tee prize. I know I just shared some goodies from them in my last post, lol, but honestly this prize is the one that inspired me to explore the rest of the hunt. I really like how the design wraps around the side, as this serpentine dragon surrounded by blossoms is draped in front of the moon. There are standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes.
If you love the idea of a dragon themed shirt but were thinking something a bit darker, how about our LGW * B&WBH24 Pack * prize from Let's Get Weird? This prize includes men's and women's versions, with female sizing for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, male body sizes for Aesthetic, Gianni, Jake, Kario, and Legacy. The men's version is longer with smooth edging, whereas the feminine style is cropped with intricately torn edges that I adore.
Psyche's Pstyles knocked my socks off with their Dragon's Luck Dress prize, although I'm not surprised because I am a big fan of theirs in general. This sleeveless tube dress hugs our curves in sizes for eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies as well as a standard fitted version. The bold artwork reminds me of the Chinese dragons you'll see at Lunar New Year parades, with several people dancing in the long costumes.
Next we visit Nut & Squirrel (formerly Telsiope's Couture) to claim their lovely Hecate dress. It is crafted with a halter neckline and fun cutouts on the bodice, a sheer section beneath the bust, and a short skirt that shimmers in satin. There are Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with a HUD that offers 16 colors for us to select from. The style is both chic and flirty, which I definitely appreciate.
My final look of the evening was probably the most challenging for me to find, as this little dragon really blends into his surroundings. The Violet Skies - Josie Green Dress was absolutely worth the extra effort as you can see, thanks to the playful opening that frames our cleavage, above fun fringe and a bold link to hold top and skirt together. The dress and panty are provided in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Muneca, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm glad there are panties to match, so my dreams of wearing this dancing (shake that fringe!) won't cause a wardrobe malfunction ;)
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was fairly busy, and I've got a couple more hectic days ahead but not in a bad way. The farmers market visit on Saturday was nice, but getting there and home was rough (stupid anxiety) so I spent some time explaining that in therapy earlier. At least I had new sunscreen to wear that wasn't expired :) Tomorrow is a group support meeting, then Tuesday I'm headed somewhere yet to be determined. I'd really like to find time to take care of my nails, as I haven't polished them for over 2 years and they could use some shaping too. I'm a rounded girlie, not quite almond because those seem too pointy for me, but squares are not flattering for my hands.
