My weekend felt like a whirlwind, but in a good way :) I managed to get to the farmers market for the first time in 2 years, a very big deal for my anxiety, and one of the sticking points was my concerns that the people who know me (I did go there every week for over 10 years) would make a fuss and I'd feel overwhelmed. Two of them did so, LOL, but out of love and I am not mad at all. I got big hugs from both sweet ladies, and even my favorite dog there was excited to see me ♥. He is a Boston terrier who makes dolphin noises when he gets excited, usually seems to be communicating "pet me" or "feed me". After all that, I napped and then went to my parents' for dinner :) They had shown up at the market as we were getting into the car to leave, so I filled them in more during dinner on how it went and felt. Today was therapy, so I got to rehash it all again with someone trained to help me dig through the anxiety and emotions. It was good, I'm doing okay and probably going to attempt to go back this coming weekend. I really did miss the people there, and it is an important step in healing from agoraphobia.
