Disgruntled Elf Hunt
Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing you some prizes from a free gridwide hunt called the Disgruntled Elf Hunt, and it has a few tricks up its little elven sleeves. The prizes are hidden in one of 5 random colored gift boxes, and the stores have hint givers are an example of one but not necessarily the color that is hidden there. Each location can have up to 5 decoys out, although that isn't always a bad thing because one of the stores had cookie recipes on notecards inside their decoys :) The landmarks, both in the prize folders and on the website, are labeled Mayhem 01, Mayhem 02, etc. so you don't know precisely where you're headed until you arrive. There are a total of 25 stops, and the site lets you know if they are male, female, or unisex gifts so you can bring friends of any gender and they will know what prizes are of interest to them ahead of time. Obviously I suggest having their site available for reference while hunting, since I've mentioned it a few times already :) Also featured tonight, a sneak peek at tomorrow's Entice gift from their Advent calendar, and today's Inkheart Advent gift that will be free for group members until the beginning of January.
This first gift is from MystRie and is called Drummer Girl, the female gift to which there is a male counterpart found in the same store but different gift box. The coat dress comes in 5 classic and 5 fitmesh sizes, and the matching boots are included in a size for the classic avatar feet so you can just remove/hide your mesh feet if you are wearing any. The various shades of green are really intriguing, aren't they?
Mishmash Fusion has matching outfits for guys and gals as well, elegantly casual for last minute holiday preparation or getting together with a few close friends. Their lovely Stone Cold Sweater comes in a fitmesh version plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the Morning Bell Jeans are in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. They are quite versatile too, as you are about to see these jeans in my next two photos as well.
There is something so cozy about a soft knit sweater, like this Women's Xmas Sweater from Fire Within. It includes fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions, so this should comfortably fit just about every shape and size. The mens' gift is different colors and design but also features snowflakes, so a nice winter touch.
Should I be embarrassed or proud to admit that as soon as I saw this shirt, I identified with the wording? :) It is our prize from To the Moon & Back, in an array of mesh sizes: standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. I am definitely planning on wearing this quite a bit, love it!
Advent time, this sexy outfit is the gift for the 23rd underneath the Entice tree. Just wear your free group tag and pay $1L to the present of the current date (that means you will need to wait until Midnight SL time for this one) and it will be refunded along with the Schoolyard Crush - Violet outfit seen here. The top, skirt, tie, and bows each come in Maitreya, Freya, and Hourglass sizes. Quick confession: I am wearing the Slink Physique body today, and wound up trying out all 3 sizes to see how it would work out...this is the Maitreya sizes of each component and they are a very good fit. Just add your favorite stockings to really take advantage of those bows, or omit them and/or the tie if you prefer, wear this lovely gift however makes you happy. Speaking of happy, I am very pleased with the gift for the 22nd from the Inkheart Advent gifts, called Feline Eyes - Mecano. There is a slit pupil for the feline aspect, and the color is a really interesting grey blue green mix, okay I can't quite decide what color I see in it predominantly but it is appealing nonetheless :) This gift will be available for free until January 3rd with your free Inkheart group tag, as with all prior gifts, and each day one is added.
I wound up with an unexpected change of plans for the day, so tomorrow (Saturday) will just be twice as busy for me now. I am a bit concerned about that, but I will allegedly have help tomorrow, LOL, so maybe it won't be so bad. *fingers crossed* Please know that while I may mention Christmas from time to time, I respect all the holidays celebrated this time of year and am not trying to exclude anyone.
