Peace On Earth Again

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing some more prizes from the Peace On Earth 10 Hunt, and there are only a few days left to find all those globes so I hope you got started already :) This is one of my favorite annual hunts, and we certainly do need more peace in the world lately so the name is quite timely. I do suggest having the hunt website open for easy access to landmarks and info on any stores that need to be skipped, probably a good idea with any hunt actually. When you find each globe, it will give you a folder with your free prize and the next landmark to help you along your journey.

First we have our prize from Pretty Kitty Design, their Winter Wonder Top and Skirt with ARCTIC technology. This means it includes a transmitter that allows your clothing (or portions of it, in this case the snowflakes and the lacing on the sleeves) to rotate through 20 different colors or you can click one on the HUD to choose it to stay that shade. The top and skirt are each in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine fits, so a generous range to suit most bodies. 

This is the Womens POE Gift from Dixie Designs, a fun combination of matching top, pants, and shoes that will wrap you in plaid and poinsettias. The top and pants are each provided in standard, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP sizes. The adorable slippers are in classic, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat sizes, and really pull the look together nicely.

I really enjoyed the Knotted Skater Dress from OMG! Inc., especially since it includes a HUD with 5 different print textures to choose from. The dress is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The style is great for year round wear, so a terrific addition to any wardrobe.

One of the many joys of SL is that just because there is snow in the forecast (or a sim's decorations) does not mean we have to bundle up. It makes all sorts of weather more enjoyable, and I can happily wear this very short, off the shoulder style mini from #bye in the chilliest looking areas. It is simply named PoE Hunt 10 Gift, and includes standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. Those intricately detailed snowflakes are a beautiful touch on the softly colored dress.

Dragonmoon Designs is offering this outfit in their hidden globe, called Winter Love POE Hunt Item. It starts with the strapless mini, trimmed in snowy fur and decorated with flakes and a snow family on the front, in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and standard fitmesh sizes. Then we can add the antlers and the necklace (a collar with bells, much like you might find on a reindeer) if we so desire. This playful look was a fun choice for my final look of the evening.

I will certainly be finishing my year in busy mode, with another family gathering behind me but more plans for the next several days that are sure to keep me hopping. My family used to do a huge New Years Day dinner with a country ham and all sorts of sides and other courses, but it got to be too much hassle so close to Christmas so they stopped a few years back (maybe 5 or 6) and I am actually glad at the moment. It was great to see everyone, and the food was delicious, but sometimes it is better to relax. I have seen everyone who would have been invited either yesterday or two days prior, or both.
