On The 8th Day of Advent...
Hiya everyone! Today I have several Advent calendar gifts to show you, either needing no group at all or a group tag that is free to join. I am so grateful for this time of year and all the designers who offer sweet treats to their customers. There are also a couple more Peace On Earth 10 Hunt prizes in today's post, and I am still barely scratching the surface of the hundreds of amazing prizes you can find for free. As I've mentioned before, you will be looking for globes by following the hints you find either on the website or from the sample globes on the signs at most of the stores. I also need to suggest that you have the website open for the most updated list of SLurls, as there have been some mistakes with the landmarks in the prize folders. If you seem to have landed at the wrong store, check to make sure you're at the right sim, and if you look to be in the right store but cannot find a sign or any trace of the globe, you might be in the wrong branch of the store (happened to me at least twice) so just refer to the site to verify where you need to be. Big props to the organizers for keeping us on track with the website, for those cases where the store owner doesn't get the chance to change the LM in their globe fast enough.
Two different Advent calendar gifts here, yet they work really well together and I do plan on wearing them as an outfit again soon. The sweater is from Sweet E's and is their Gift 8 Animated Sweater, in sizes for standard, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The animation is hard to capture in a still image of course, but the 3 lights the penguin is holding light up in turns and he moves slightly. It's adorable! You will need the free Sweet E's group tag to claim this, and prior gifts can be purchased at the Advent board (upstairs) if you missed any. The pants are from Applique` Chic, whose Advent gifts are free for all with no group needed, just purchase for $0L outside the front door of the store right where you land. They are the Day 8 Snowflake Leggings in Blue, and come in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. Prior days' gifts are available for purchase for just $10L each if you have missed any of them.
Next we head to Entice, whose free group members can find a present each day under the Christmas tree, just wear your tag and pay today's gift $1L to be immediately refunded and receive this lovely Just a Dream Dress in Red. There are sizes included for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a Fitted version, so there is a wide range for this flattering dress.
I have yet another Advent calendar to tell you about, one that I just found out about this morning at *baci*. No group is needed, just click today's date on the board in the middle of the store to receive this lu-Lady Dress fatpack containing 5 different varieties of this beauty. On the left I am wearing Miss Flower and on the right is Dona Flor, and each dress is packed individually with what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes included: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. This style is so pretty, with cutouts on the sides and a big bow at the back of the neck, and the various patterns all look attractive on it.
One of my favorite stops on the Peace On Earth 10 Hunt is Eclectic Stars, as their geek themed products never fail to make me smile. They appeal to gamers, book/TV/movie franchise fans, and science minded people just to name a few. So their prize for the hunt is called Temperance - Holiday Invaders, and did you notice the little pixel aliens on the skirt? Classic video game throwback on a fun, elegant gown! It is included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine.
One last look for today, this is our hunt prize from AlaFolie called CASSY, and it is a fantastic outfit! The dress and sleeves are each provided in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Classic, and with the sleeves being separate you can choose to wear this as a strapless. There is also a HUD with 3 colors for the dress/sleeves and the same 3 for the lace trim, change them together or separately. The shoes are included in Maitreya Mid, Slink Mid, and Tonic Standard sizes, and their color HUD offers 4 shades to choose from. There are so many ways we can wear this and have it feel like a brand new look, it is as versatile as it is pretty.
Tonight I have a family dinner to attend, and tomorrow morning is my usual farmers market trip (usually accompanied by some other side quests, LOL) so I will be blogging tomorrow evening rather than in the morning.
