Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more SL16B gifts to show off, this time from the Halcyon sim which is one of their 5 shopping sims at the event. If you have been reading here, you've already seen gifts found on the other shopping sims so this is a finale of fashion with a kiss of color on my lips. Intrigued? Then let's go shopping!
My first look this evening combines two gifts found on the same SL16B sim that work well together but will also pair beautifully with plenty of your wardrobe staples. The top is the Magaly Halter Top Fatpack from Addams, which comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Legacy sizes. It also includes 3 texture HUDs: Common with 30 solid colors, Patterns with 16 choices, and Splash with 12 options (seen on the right) and all with matching colors for the ties. The skirt is the gift from Caboodle, their Camille Skirt & Tied Sweater. Both the skirt and tied sweater are included in Hourglass and Maitreya sizes, in Teal and Floral, so you can mix or match the separate pieces. As you can see, I even wore the skirt without the sweater on the left.
Another duo of gifts here, starting with the [Canimal] Paradise Pink Camo. This halter style romper comes in a Maitreya size and has a lace-trimmed neckline balancing the sporty edging of the shorts and pockets. Also, be sure to grab both gifts from Earthstones so you will have both their Ferris Necklace - June - Moonstone/Pearl and the matching Earrings. The jewelry has a menu when you click each piece, with metal choices of gold or silver and a resize script among other functions. I am a huge fan of moonstone so this set tickles my fancy :)
If you were born to sparkle (spoiler alert: we all were!) then this gift from MIWAS is for you! It honors Pride month with its top and matching skirt, each in a single mesh size that fit my Maitreya body perfectly. The silvery fabric (might be materials enabled) has accents of rainbows, soooo pretty!
The SL16B gift from Bella Moda is an entire fatpack of outfits called Vivace Racy Outfit. There are black, dark blue, grey, light blue, medium blue, and silver versions that each consist of the top and shorts each in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, with matching tiptoe sneakers in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high sizing. There is also a HUD in each for the shirt, 10 colors to tint to your preference.
For my last look of the evening, I am focused on my kissable looking lips, thanks to the gift from alaskametro<3 called "Bubblegum" Lip Gloss. Just add the HUD and you can apply one of 6 shades in 3 different fits (the B works well for Genus) or click a button to receive system layers for classic avatars. Someday hopefully soon, Linden Labs will be ready to release "bakes on mesh" to the grid and we can use those system layers right on top of mesh body parts, but Omega and various appliers will still work just fine. I do appreciate that Alaskametro provides both options as a standard for their wonderful products.
Wow, it was a hot day out there today! Then we had thunderstorms in the evening, but that didn't stop the local folks from setting off fireworks because they are irrational that way. Sometimes we hear them multiple weekends in a row for no reason, and it worries me when I've read about PTSD sufferers who are triggered by sudden loud sounds like that. Hiya everyone! Tonight it is time to visit the Golden sim of the SL16B shopping event, one of the five sims dedicated to SL's talented designers. They are offering discounted merchandise as well as gifts for all visitors, so I strongly recommend visiting during the event which ends on the 8th of July. You can find clothing, accessories, and home decor among the offers here, and so much more, you'll have to see for yourself :)
My first look of the evening is our gift from LYBRA, which is named SLB16 after the event. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, all with a distressed denim texture and a floral pattern on the darker top. The high neckline (similar front and back) balances the sleeveless style and short skirt.
The gift from RIOT is Birthday Shirts in mens versions along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes for the ladies. There is even a HUD included that works for both, with 5 designs in 2 colors each. On the left it reads "Aging like a fine Wine" and on the right "I'm not getting older I'm leveling up", so they are birthday themed but I think that aging like fine wine can work for year round. I'm wearing my favorite Delizio jeans with this top :)
Summer activities call for swimwear and coverups, and PinkRayne is generously offering a full fatpack of their Splash outfits. There are 5 sets of top, bottom, and dress, each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. On the left I am wearing the Babydoll set, and on the right Neon Lights. They could be mixed and matched to suit your mood, just get creative and enjoy!
This frisky outfit comes from Vibing, and is their Natalia Shorts and Natalia Tube, each in Peach. They are each provided in a Maitreya size, and the tube top ties around the waist after the straps wrap around the torso. The shorts show a little cheek in the rear, a cute touch.
My final look of the night is courtesy of Valentina E., whose gift is called Andi Bodysuit Teal Net. It includes Freya, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya versions, with a playful halter style tied in the back with long strands draped down the plunging back. There is a hint of bum cleavage since the back is opened so low.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some presents for you from the SL16B shopping event, all from the Tinseled Sim which is one of the 5 dedicated to shopping. The entire Second Life 16th Birthday event covers way more than that, it's really something special! I also have a selection from The Trunk Show to show you, the discounted offer from Entice this round.
First up, we have the gift from Tres Blah which is their Ginger Halter Fatpack. That's right, an entire range of solids and patterns via HUD can be yours for free, just for visiting their display! The halter top comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Legacy (classic avatar) sizes, and the HUD offers 16 choices for the halter and 11 shades to tint the sheer bottom. I paired the halter top with a marketplace gift from Delizio that appear here frequently, their jeans in light blue which is one of several shades included in system layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.
The jeans from Delizio also look sharp with the gift from !APHORISM! called Thyme Winter Sweater SL16B Gift. Their gift actually includes the male version (Tyler) too, and there is a HUD provided too with 9 colors for the cuffs. The ladies' sizes include Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya.

The SL16B event has a theme of the fifties, as a throwback to a time of transformation like SL has experienced in all these years. So this gift from ALPHA FEMALE is a perfect choice :) There is a male gift too, so the guys are not left out of the fun at this event. The outfit consists of the top and shorts each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with the matching scarf in standard mesh sizing and the open toed heels in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high versions.
Time to visit The Trunk Show, where among the great offers you will find this Entice - Love Story dress in 8 individual versions for $199L each (regularly $300L) and the Fatpack for $599L. The fatpack is especially versatile, as it includes a HUD that provides 2 bonus colors as well as the ability to mix and match the dress, bow, and pearls with all 10 colors or patterns. Hiya everyone! Tonight you will see a sampling of the gifts available for everyone who visits the SL16B event (Second Life 16th Birthday) where the presents are for the residents. I am taking things sim by sim since there are 5 entire sims dedicated to the shopping alone, and tonight's can all be found on the Gilded sim. The generous designers are offering discounted merchandise in addition to free gifts, so there are plenty of reasons to brave the crowds and come celebrate.
My first look is from *Vanilla Bae* called Catalina Dress, in a special version for the SL16B event. There are PG and Adult versions, each in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Legacy for the classic avatars. The adult version has a Strip Me feature, where clicking brings up a menu to set private, public, or you can add a Master with permission to strip the dress in 6 stages.
::UNA:: has a gift for us too, their Vera White dress in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing. It has a delightful tulip style to its sheer skirt, which can provide a bit of a surprise from the rear view.
This cute outfit is the gift from Baiastice, SleepDress & Panties in 4 colors by HUD. The panties are linked to the dress so it all wears as one piece, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The included HUD lets you choose from 4 background colors, all with a pretty floral design.
When you visit the Blueberry display, you will find a gift for SL16B and another gift for Pride Month, which look terrific worn together but can also be paired with whatever you might desire. The top is their Pride Shirts Wet/Dry, and include half wet, full wet, and dry versions. Each comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a bra HUD that offers 21 colors (visible through the wet versions) and an on/off feature. The shorts are the SL16B gift called Pride Shorts in 3 colors, with each color provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. As you can see on the right, the shorts say "LOVE IS LOVE" on the back and have rainbow wings right above the pockets. The HUD is marvelous, offering 19 fabrics and 12 leathers for the zipper line (in a black leather on the left), 30 colors to tint the ties on the sides, and 10 metals for all those rivets.
My final look this evening is Pride themed too, our gift from alme. called Mesh S&R Nails - Rainbow 2019 Rose. It consists of stiletto and rounded versions of the mesh nails, each rigged to fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink hands. There is a HUD for each shape with 3 lengths and 4 designs, which can be applied to each individual finger separately if you wish for variety within the manicure. There is also a HUD included for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista, helpful for applying a matching pedicure for example. I am wearing the rounded mesh nails in medium length above.
It is going to be extra hot here the next few days, in the 90s, so I will be running fans and fighting the urge to stress out my air conditioner. The system is 20 years old and probably cannot handle full blast, and I need it to last the entire summer so the plan is to baby it a little. Hiya everyone! Tonight we head back to the Aurelian sim of the SL16B shopping event, since there were plenty more generous gifts to show you. There are 4 other shopping sims too, so stay tuned for their gifties too :) The event is still quite crowded, so no need to worry if it's full when you try to visit...there are about 2 weeks remaining. I also have a gorgeous free gift from Entice to show you, with a bit of an explanation. No group needed for this one, all visitors can claim it and enjoy.
My first look is two of the three generous gifts from ella, with Lilly // Yellow on the left and Nerida // Blue on the right. They both come in sizes for Freya, Isis, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and I have a little secret about the Nerida - that bottom swash is so low that I used a modify patch on the skin to hide my private parts ;) I am wearing 7 Deadly Skins MANUELA in their "dew" shade, and these patches come in all current skin tones. They can be purchased at the store or marketplace, and if you collected their Advent gifts this past December you probably already have them.
{le fil casse} is offering this terrific Rachelle Dress in Sugarplum as their SL16B gift. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya, with a plunging neckline and tie in the back. It is very short, so be sure to wear your favorite panties beneath just in case ;)
We also can claim this fun outfit by visiting SL16B, from .miss chelsea. called Kaia Jumpsuit Plum. The top and pants are one piece, and the sleeves are separate so you can wear with or without them. Each come in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, all in the deep purplish shade that will flatter all of us.
I love these shirts from toksik! Their gift is the Selva Top in 3 colors (lime, magenta on the left, and mint on the right) which each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya. The bold ruffles are a sweet touch, as is the lacing in the front to hold things together.
Time to visit Entice, so we can pick up this adorable Love Story Dress - Patriot. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD that lets you choose the color of the dress, bow, and pearls each individually. The colors are red, white, and blue, so it can be worn to honor the USA or Canada quite easily. Entice is a collaboration between two talented designers, one of whom is American and the other Canadian, so this dress is a nod to both nations. You could easily wear it solid blue for example, or any combo that does not reflect either country's flags if you are from elsewhere :) It is free for all visitors, not sure for how long though so I would visit soon.

Hiya everyone! Tonight we begin the SL16B celebration, which stands for Second Life 16th Birthday. I couldn't resist visiting the shopping event, which covers 5 whole sims and most of the participating designers are offering gifts to help us celebrate. I am separating them by sim, since it's easier (on everyone) for me to tell you that all of tonight's looks are from the Aurelian sim than to say there are items from 3 different sims in one post. There are so many people visiting these sims that you will probably experience considerable lag, particularly if you go in these early days, but the event lasts until the 8th of July so you have plenty of time to join the crowds. Suggestions that might help with lag: take off everything and wear a full body alpha, and adjust your settings (preferences -> graphics -> general, maximum complexity) so that most avatars will become 'jellydolls' and therefore easier to render. Funny story - when I was in the 5th of the five sims I visited this morning, I wound up crashing and was set to log back in where I'd last been...so I logged in to find myself in the fountain in the middle of the sim! Not what I was expecting, LOL, but my avi had a nice cool swim I guess.
My first look is the gift from Candy kitten, called *CK* Flower power dress Present. It comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, and you can probably guess that there is a texture HUD provided too. That offers 7 different choices, fun patterns like flowers and watermelons and the two choices seen above.
A great way to celebrate summer is with this -Narcisse- Ashley Monokini in its SL16B Special Edition. It comes in a Maitreya mesh size, in a bright crimson shade with tiny white polka dots. The intricate straps are so much fun!
Maybe you are craving something green instead, well [[ Masoom ]] can help you with their gift called Maple dress in Green. There are also optional, tintable panties in addition to the dress, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Did you notice the playful cutout on the left hip?
This lovely gown can be found in the Aurelian sim too, at the Dead Dollz display. It's called Izabel Dress in Azure, and is crafted for the Maitreya mesh body. Just look at that satiny texture, with tiny embroidered flowers and petite ruffles. The halter style is beautiful, and the back has a flirtatiously deep plunge.
My final look this evening features the top from Eliavah, which is called Amaranthine Blouse. That deep red with golden pattern looks terrific on the ruched texture, and the wrapped off-the-shoulder style. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies.
It was a hectic morning, thanks to weird internet issues that affected a large chunk of the East coast...that last photo was taken when I had no internet anymore and didn't realize it yet, but my pose wouldn't work and I knew something was off. What I thought was glitches turned out to be a DNS issue or something, and my ISP was downright rude when I tweeted their support account. Oh well, it was resolved eventually and I am very relieved. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am inviting you to the Flower Power Fair & Treasure Hunt, which is open until the 5th of July. In addition to the floral and hippie themed offerings for sale, the treasure hunt portion is a search for flowers that have hovertext saying to click for a gift. There are groups of dandelions (flat prim) and a few sculptie flower blossoms as hunt objects, they were mostly white but I saw a couple tinted yellow. All are free, and contain gifts from the many participating designers. You will find fashion and home decor among these treats.
My first look is the prize from Boho Valkyrja called BV Minnie dress 03. It has a vibrant pattern of peace symbols with black cowl neck and detached sleeves. The prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, and Maitreya mesh bodies.
This charming look is the EC Hollywood Glam Lucy Love Outfit from Emerald Couture. It starts with the top, in an applier for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. Then it continues with the high waisted pants with belt that matches the top wonderfully, in standard mesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The necklace has a built in resize script so you can adjust it to suit your personal shape and size. There are even panties, provided as a system layer plus an Omega applier.
The other prize from Moonstar is this terrific dress called Flower Power, an ideal choice for the theme of the fair :) It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with matching panties you can apply with an Omega HUD. The pattern really made me smile, and the bold ruffle is sure to turn heads.
Syren's Song is another generous designer with two gifts to find, although tonight I am only showing you one so you'll still have the other to find as a surprise :) This is their Raven Black dress, with leathery corset style bodice and sheer lacy skirt. It comes in standard sizes plus a fitted version for classic avatars, as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes for mesh bodies. I would recommend layering some undies beneath for modesty if you're so inclined, as that skirt is meant to show off!
I am definitely a tired magpie tonight, from being short on sleep and having a busy day. My grandmother is doing fairly well, and everyone enjoyed the visit. Her hair might have been longer than mine, longest she's had it in 50 years probably, so it needed the cut and I'm relieved I was able to help. She was having a healthy dinner when we left, and I hope her caregiver finds the new hairdo easier to handle. My week ahead should be fairly peaceful, not too many things planned, so I am looking forward to that for sure. Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at the newest Fish 4 This set from Sn@tch, which is called Hopeful World. It consists of 6 tank tops (sizes: standard, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine), 3 pairs of jeans (sizes: Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine), a great hairstyle in 3 colors with 2 sizes each, a choker, cuff for each wrist, earrings, a tattoo in system layer and Omega applier, and eye shadow in system layer plus Omega applier. Whew! That is a lot of options to play around with, so you can create all the looks you wish. The fishing is with a 7 Seas rod, which you can buy there or on the marketplace and use indefinitely which is handy when the Sn@tch fishing set changes every 2 weeks or so. The pieces you catch are transferable, so you can swap your spares with friends to complete the sets easier. As usual, I had Xan's companionship and help with this set ♥.
For my first look, I chose the Sn@tch Sparrow Hair in Ash Blonde. It is a full, gently center parted style with a hint of waves at the ends. The tank top is the Sn@tch Sunny Tank Top in Pride, with a rainbow of horizontal stripes. I paired them with Sn@tch Girl Crush Jeans in Faded, which have impressive bell bottoms and a low rise held in place by a black belt.
For this look, I changed one thing and added another :) The change is into the Sunny Tank Top in Aqua, with stripes that alternate with black to match its trim. That trim also matches the belt of all 3 colors of jeans too, in a useful coincidence. The addition here is the Sn@tch Hopeful Earrings in Silver, which you will be catching separately and do not need to unpack. Just add each and your ears are dressed to impress.
Our pretty Sparrow Hair is an intense beauty in Black, as you can see here, and you get a glimpse of how it looks from behind too. The tank tops for this look are Pink on the left and Purple on the right, with the same black stripes as many of the varieties. I also added the Sn@tch Mayhem Tattoo which peeks out from beneath the waist of our Girl Crush Jeans in Dark.
I wonder which caught your eye first, the tank top in racy Red or the addition of a few great accessories? Perhaps it was the Black shade of the jeans, or the change into the rich Auburn shade of hair. Let's get into the details of the jewelry....the choker is the Sn@tch Revenge Choker in Onyx, in black leather with a dangling pendant. You can also catch the Sn@tch Hopeful Cuff for left and right wrists, separate catches that match the choker quite well. I like the bold accessories, since hope can be a bold emotion that is especially powerful when shared.
For my final look of the evening, I am enjoying the tank top in White, and have added the dramatic Sn@tch Hopeful Eye Shadow in Plum. It has smudged black eyeliner for a smoky look, and a playful purplish shadow that draws attention to the eyes beautifully.
It was a hot and busy day, but mostly a good one here. Tomorrow I am going to visit my grandmother and cut her hair since it's getting too long for her caregiver to deal with as easily.
