Beach Party Fair & Treasure Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing some treats from a Beach Party Fair and Treasure Hunt at Wonderland Beach. It is open until the 25th of August, and there are a few dozen participating designers with plenty of offers and free gifts for us. The gifts are hidden inside bananas, fairly easy to find and each has hovertext saying to click for a gift, so your treasure hunt is a casual and peaceful exploration.

Our treasure hunt prize from Kalani's Designs is their lovely KDS Beth Mesh Mini Melon. This breezy mini comes in standard mesh sizes, decorated with lacing down the front and pretty roses against a polka dot background. 

A beach party is the perfect place to find this beautiful Tambi Bikini Set - Floral from Mara's Mysteries. It consists of the top, bottom, and skirt (sarong) each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The bottom is a thong, but the skirt covers it nicely from behind if you need a little modesty for where you wear it :) The pattern and colors really caught my eye, great combination.

Moonstar has a playful outfit waiting for us, their MESH Pinka Roll Down Shorts, Top and Shoes. The shorts come in 5 classic sizes, 5 fitmesh sizes, Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, while the top is provided as a system layer along with appliers for Maitreya, Slink, and Lolas. The shoes are matching mules for classic, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Flat feet. I love the idea of shorts overalls but folded down so you can show off your tank top and feel more comfortable.

This striking gown is the Nixie Dress Summer Sky, our prize from TRS Designs. It truly does have the coloring of a mostly clear sky with delicate wisps of cotton candy-like clouds. It includes what I call the lucky 13 of sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.

My final look comes from the banana of Virtual Glitter, which holds their Sea Shell Jumpsuit. It is included in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The pattern is ideal for the season, and the style is a fun one with those slits in the front and back. 

I am struggling with something in RL today, news about the passing away of someone from my past. It happened a year ago and I stumbled across the information almost accidentally, and it would not be appropriate for me to contact anyone to offer sympathy so I am just feeling down about mortality in general I suppose. It seems cancer was to blame, that unavoidable monster that has probably hurt all of us in one way or another through friends or family if not ourselves. My thoughts are with anyone out there who is currently coping with a cancer diagnosis or treatment, your own or someone you care about. Sorry if I seem like a downer tonight, I'll be more cheerful once I've processed things emotionally.
