Combining Art With Fashion

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the ART & FASHION store, who really do mix the two concepts of their name, both by selling art pieces and by incorporating art into their clothing textures. They have two store groups with different gifts/perks available for each, and tonight I'd like to show you some of the group gifts for the one that is free to join. My landmark should bring you directly to the wall where they can be found, which is not far from the paid VIP group's gifts or the ones for other groups. My first look is the ART & FASHION - LYS SFUMATO VIOLA MIDI DRESS, an elegantly styled knee length dress with long sleeves and intriguing openings in the back. It includes 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, along with Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The skirt has a very attractive art design, which is not a surprise from this designer :)

Next I changed into the ART & FASHION - UNIVERSO - SHORT DRESS group gift, which has a terrific texture and flattering style. The dress is included in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) while the scarf comes in S, M, L so three sizes for you to try. Naturally you can wear the dress without the scarf if you prefer, and you could even use the scarf for a different outfit like a turtleneck or sweater with jeans. There are lots of possibilities which I truly appreciate.

This cute casual look is the ART & FASHION - POSITANO OUTFIT group gift, yours for free with that free group tag. The belt is attached to the shorts so it fits perfectly, and I love the embroidered flowers and lace trim. 

Next we go from casual to formal, with the striking ART & FASHION - MONDRIAN LONG DRESS. It is provided in that lucky 13 of sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and has a beautiful lily drawn in red on the front and back, with a subtle floral texture on the remaining blue fabric. Even if you do not have a fancy event to attend, you can make an ordinary day extraordinary by slipping into this gown.

For my final look of the evening, I chose a stylish dress in a classic fabric. This is the ART & FASHION - CUTE JEANS MINI DRESS gift, with the traditional seams and pockets you can generally find on denim clothing as well as a brown leather patch on one pocket with the brand. The plunging neckline and crossed straps in the back make it even more alluring, don't they? This dress comes in that same lucky 13 of mesh sizes so it fits many classic avatars or mesh bodies. 

My eye appointment went pretty well, although my right eye's prescription is now stronger than my preferred contact lenses brand even manufactures (-11.00) so my right eye will remain under-corrected for the time being. I wear the extended wear that are the only ones approved for sleeping in, and if my vision in that eye gets any worse I might actually consider laser surgery. I have trouble with glasses and wind up feeling dizzy and disoriented when wearing them, so they are only for emergencies but they will be the proper prescription. My left eye (the "good" eye LOL) is stable at -9.00 in case you wondered ;) Both my parents are nearsighted and each have a history of problems (his detached retina, her childhood surgery that left her legally blind in one eye) so I need to be cautious. Speaking of cautious, I am not going to my parents' for dinner because of a storm with high winds coming through, and there is a strong chance I will lose power tomorrow evening. Tattoo You

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for a change of pace, so I sought out tattoos instead of clothing. Imagine my delight when I found the !SIDIKA SAKA! store, which has a free group with several group gifts available as well as some group-only lucky boards to win prizes from. Before trying any of them on, I changed into a flirty bikini that we can find for free on the Marketplace from LOVELACE, a simple black bra and thong in system/BOM layers that show off plenty of skin. 

First I changed into a lucky board prize which is called !SIDIKA SAKA! GirlPower Tattoo Maitr. App. + Bom. As the name indicates, it includes a system/BOM layer plus a Maitreya applier, so it will work with classic avatars or any BOM mesh body. These detailed sleeves extend down almost to our fingers, with different images of women for our girl power. I consider all of these tattoos to be unisex, whether pictured on a male or female model or both :)

This colorful tattoo is a group gift called !SIDIKA SAKA! Tofito Tattoo Bom. The artwork covers across the chest and both arms, even extending to the hands both back and front. The system/BOM layers bring lots of versatility in what bodies it works with and what you wear over or under. Layering is abundantly easier with BOM, and as you can tell I am quite a fan.

Mandalas are so beautiful, which is why I was very drawn to this !SIDIKA SAKA! Mandala Tattoo Bom group gift. The back is very similar to the front, except the front having the design trail down the center so alluringly. The pastel shades add something special too! Feeling Free and Fabulous

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for some FabFree group gifts, and you know how much I enjoy sharing :) The FabFree in SL group is free to join and is the inworld representation of the FabFree blog, which I have been enjoying for pretty much my entire time in SL which is over 13 years now. It is bursting with talented bloggers who provide information on gifts, sales, and events where we can save plenty of lindens while looking amazing. There have been many gifts added recently, so it is a pleasure to show you a handful of group gifts from several generous designers.

My first look comes from MOoH! who does change their gift out periodically, so if you are as wild about their Nicci Bikini as I am, I urge you to visit soon. We can mix things up as I have done on the right, or match them like on the left. That dramatic diagonal hemline is an ideal way to show off the sexy panties beneath!

This week feels like it's moving slowly to me, just like last week did...I have no plans tomorrow but I do have an appointment on Thursday (eye doctor, long overdue, contact lenses prescription needs renewing) and then my usual Friday and Saturday plans. Mangula Subscriber Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing some subscriber gifts from Mangula, who are very generous towards their subscribers as you will see. Joining their subscriber list is free and does not take up a group slot, and the gifting scripts in their store will recognize that you are on the list and distribute the gifts when you click their pictures. Something nice I have noticed is that they send notices only when really necessary, so they are not frequent or repeated in a way that makes one feel bombarded. Their fashions are mainly designed in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies, and I will note for the one gift that has a change from that. 

My first look is the Mangula Powerfull Girl Set [GIFT] which consists of the Blouse Blue 1, Skirt Rose, and Lingerie Rose. The skirt includes a HUD with 32 colors and 6 metals for the belt, which is a built in feature that I think looks lovely. The lingerie is a pairing of corset top and thong panties, both of which I am wearing on the right without the blouse or skirt atop them so you can see their style. Pretty and sexy!

This flirty set is the Mangula Sexy and Chic - Set Gift, which certainly lives up to its name. It includes the Bralette and Sweater in Black, as well as the shorts in Blue 2 which are packed with belt and chain in the same sizes that Mangula creates along with a HUD with 32 colors and 6 metals for chain and belt. Wear the chain instead of the belt or wear just the belt, it's all up to you :) The black skirt also comes with belt and chain separately, and the same 32 color/6 metal HUD so you can change up the look of your belt and chain with a few simple clicks. 

I couldn't resist the Mangula Always Free Set - Gift, which is relatively simple while being ideal for the warm months ahead. The top and shorts each include a HUD to choose from 2 styles; for the top it is transparent or solid for the midriff, and the shorts can be worn classic or ripped via their HUD. One of the fun aspects of neutral colored clothing is that you can accessorize in so many different ways, depending on your mood or where you are headed. 

All I need here is a full head of wild curls and I will be ready for an 80s party! This is the Mangula Summer Party - Set [GRAN PACK] subscriber gift, and it consists of several components with fantastic HUDs. Our dress is the sheer star-studded mini I am wearing over the other pieces - the top and panties on the left, and bodysuit to the right. Their HUD offers 32 colors each for the dress, belt, top, panties, bodysuit, and tie which is a small bow on the front of the bodysuit. The boots and socks have a HUD too, 32 colors each for 4 different sections of the boot plus the sole, rope (laces) and socks. I mixed things up to show you the various sections but you can just as easily choose the same color for every piece of the boot to get a uniform look if you wish. 

My final look of the evening is the subscriber gift called Mangula Daring Girl Set & Heels - [GRAN PACK]. There is a universal HUD for the dress, bodysuit, and top (not shown but the same style as the bodice of both seen above) with 32 colors each for the bodysuit, skirt, and panties which are built into the dress (right). The laced up boots come in short, medium (right), and long (left) varieties, and their HUD offers 32 colors each for laces 1 and 2 as well as the heels. There are also 6 metals, as you can see there is a zipper in the back and the grommets (?) where the laces go through. My best advice is to click various buttons and see what changes, until you get the look you wish :) In addition to the usual Mangula sizes of Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite, there are Kupra sizes for each piece of this set. 

It was a long day with nice weather, and I had a long overdue chiropractor visit that should help ease some of my aches and pains. My neck was in bad shape which was causing headaches, and we all know how unpleasant those can be so it is wonderful to have relief :) He also worked on my wrist, which gets wonky from my mouse usage. All in all it was a productive visit, and I stopped a few other places to do fun things like grocery shopping. *eyeroll* It may not be exciting but it certainly is necessary. Small Spring Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a limited time hunt to tell you about, which is called the Small Spring Hunt. There are 5 stores taking part, and each have multiple prizes hidden inside long stemmed orange roses. The website has links and preview photos, but there are no hints so you will just have to explore each stop :) They aren't very tricky to find, so you can easily do this without hints. I chose a few samples from two different stores as a sneak peek, otherwise I could have turned this hunt into several posts which would run past the end of the month when the hunt wraps up. It was just a 2 week event and I found out about it during the second week, so I apologize for the short notice. I figure with only a few places to visit and search, it is still very doable in that timeframe. 

First we have one of the 10 prizes from AmAzInG CrEaTiOnS (5 male and 5 female) which is their T-Shirt Dress 01. It includes standard mesh sizes as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. There are also two HUDs provided, one with 5 fabric textures and one for color change that allows you to tint the fabric any color you wish. It uses a color wheel and allows RGB input by clicking a button and typing the numbers in local chat. 

Next we have the flirty AmAzInG CrEaTiOnS Swimsuit Skirt Bra 1 which is another of the 5 female prizes hidden on the Womens side of the store. The bra and skirt each come in Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes, with 30% and 40% transparency versions of the skirt in addition to the fully opaque one. There are similar HUDs to the ones in the first prize I showed you, one with 3 fabric choices and the other with color change abilities. The parrots on the pattern on the right above really caught my eye ♥.

I also found several fantastic prizes at Vips Creations, like this Female Outfit - [Milano-Spring]. The dress comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, while the matching shoes are for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. The bracelet with resize script and the clutch are included too, plus a standard size S shape in case you need one.

For my final look of the night, I chose another Vips Creations prize, this one called Female Outfit - [Irene-Retro]. The jumpsuit comes in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, with a HUD offering 6 fun texturing choices. The silver shoes are for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High sizes, and the sunglasses I am wearing are included as well. The belt is built in and the silver matches the shoes perfectly, so it is a nicely coordinated outfit from head to toe. 

It was a nice weekend here other than a bit of rain, and I managed to avoid being out in the wet weather so that is always a plus. The farmers market yesterday morning was fun, and I love when people bring their dogs since there is a vendor who makes dog treats too. They get so excited! Bunny Kisses and Enticed Wishes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we prepare for the weekend with hunt prizes and a Saturday Sale treat :) The hunt is called Bunny Kisses and Easter Wishes, and it lasts until the end of the month so there is still some time to claim beautiful $1L prizes and $25L exclusive offers hiding in striped eggs. There are preview images on their website as well as hints and the landmarks to navigate from store to store, so you will want to have that available while you hunt. The Saturday Sale offers I mentioned are from Entice, who love to save us money by taking part in this event regularly with special colors and discounts on previously released versions of their popular creations. There is much to see tonight!

My first stop was ..::RR::.. where I followed the hint for the $1L hunt prize and claimed their Romantic Dress Cute. It was not in an egg however, but rather a red heart which I believe happened there before with a hunt. The hint still worked, and I happily obtained this pretty dress in loads of sizes: 5 classic and 5 fitmesh standard for classic avatars, and sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. Did you notice the daring slit on the right side of the skirt? It goes aaaaalll the way up and makes this extra flirty!

Next I found the $1L prize at Refugee Fashion, called {RF} Booty Short/Top/Sandal. This versatile outfit is just right for warmer weather, and is provided in a delivery HUD that you just need to click the brand of mesh body you wish to wear the outfit with. There are logos for Belleza (Freya, Isis, Venus), Legacy, Maitreya, Slink (Hourglass and Physique), and Tonic (Curvy and Fine) with each folder containing the top, shorts, and flat sandals for that body. There is also a HUD in each folder with 6 choices for the top and shorts, plus all sorts of shoe options: 6 each for straps and insole, 10 for the sole, and 5 metals. The color options are solid colors that match the single patterned choice wonderfully as you can see. 

Another of my favorite stops in any hunt path that includes them is [Ari-Pari], especially since I appreciate their use of HUDs and that every hunt prize they create is exclusive to that specific hunt. This is their Sweet Hearts Romper - BKEWH, hiding inside that $1L striped egg just waiting for you. It includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, plus a 10 color HUD so you can choose the background hue for the petite white heart pattern. The strapless style makes me think of warm spring and summer days while being just an all-around flattering look. 

The Sissy Bar is also a reliable stop for finding excellent hunt prizes, and their (TSB) Bunny Kisses Tank Dress is a great example of that. Just look at that perfect shade of lavender, and those precious bunnies floating by with their bouquets of balloons! The prize includes a standard size for classic avatars as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Kupra, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Hourglass Petite bodies. I love the way both sides are gathered and tied at the bottom of the hem with loose bows, just adding to its playful nature. 

For my final look of the evening, we head to Entice and their Saturday Sale display where there are 4 new versions of this striking Aniron Outfit corset dress on sale for $75L apiece. On the left I am wearing the Floral - Lilac, and the Celtic - Peach is seen on the right. These gorgeous outfits have a high collar in the back, and the corset layer creates a slightly longer tail in the back with a split in the middle for ease of movement. There are also panties built in which I appreciate. In addition to these two, there are also a solid pink and striped copper among the new offerings. Each includes Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite sizing.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Sweet E's, where they are generously offering lots of free group gifts. Their store group is free to join, so there is no cost to you to claim all these generous goodies. There are also lucky chairs as well as gifts for other groups in the same area, right in the front of the store. I have been a member of this group for ages and really enjoy it, as you can tell :)

My first look is a new gift called Sweet E's Purple Floral Selena Outfit. It consists of three pieces that can be worn in various combinations. The top comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies, while the leggings are provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. The tie cardigan to layer above the top come in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. On the right I slipped out of it to show you what the top looks like alone, and you can see that the outfit looks very pretty both ways. 

Next we have the charming Sweet E's Pink Floral Lorna Jeans and Amelia Shirt, whose name really says it all :) The jeans have a solid panel down the front of each leg that perfectly matches the soft pink of the shirt, both of which coordinate well with the floral pattern on the rest of the jeans. The top comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The jeans include standard sizes plus the same ones as the top, each in lengths for flat, mid, and high heels. 

Sweet E's Banana Kit Dress has a playful pattern of bananas and lips on a tank style mini dress. This group gift includes Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature Alice, Star, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. It is even shorter from behind, so it is definitely a cheeky style ;)

This terrific casual outfit is the Sweet E's Teal and Purple Floral Tank top with high waist short. The top and shorts are each provided in standard mesh sizes along with sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. I really like the color combination, and the way the shorts have decorative buttons on the front with a small zipper on the back. 

My final look of the evening is a group gift that will have us ready for summer, or a hot evening indoors perhaps. It's called Sweet E's Teal Paisley Crop top and String Panty Set, with each piece included in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. If you crave variety, you could pair the top with a pair of jeans or shorts, and I am wondering if I have a solid colored bikini top that would go well with the bottoms for a different bikini look. So many possibilities! I included the side view to show that the panties are a thong style, which makes sense based on how high the ties are on the hips. 

It was a fine day but the evening is chilly, as a cold front has moved into my area for the next few days. The hockey game I watched was wild, I felt so bad for one of the players who scored a goal when the puck bounced off his face to go into the net. Yikes! The good news is they did x-rays and nothing was broken, so he had a protective jaw guard added to his helmet and played in the 3rd period, scoring again the usual way. His face looked swollen like you would expect from dental surgery or something, but hockey players are tough and he wanted to play through the pain. We have another game tomorrow, so I am curious to see if he plays and if he is bruised or still swollen. Evil Bunny and Cosmopolitan

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue down the Evil Bunny Hunt 11 path, finding nice or evil eggs with wonderful $1L prizes in each. Their website is an important source of information, with the links to each participating store as well as hints and preview photos. It helps to know which egg you are seeking too, as some chose the nice egg and others went with the evil egg, yet others offering both. There are prizes for men and women, so this hunt is very beneficial for all and I suggest teamwork with your friends or special someone. Like just about all hunts, it is a fun way to find very affordable fashions and home decor while exploring stores that might be new to you or maybe you haven't been to in a while. Speaking of new fashions, I also have a special offer from Entice that you can find at Cosmopolitan this round at discounted prices with plenty of options to choose from.

First we see the Cats n Kittens Boutique hunt prize called CnK: Batik Short Set. The tied tank top and hot pants are in each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. You will be looking for a nice egg that is decorated with angel wings and halo to claim this dollarbie delight. 

Another great outfit can be found in the nice egg at Wiccan Wears. Their ~WW~ Ivonne White Jumper includes the top and jumpsuit (separate pieces) in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Since the jumpsuit is a neutral color, you could layer just about any top you like beneath it if you want to change things up a bit. Of course, I really do like the pink cropped tank it comes with :)

For my final look this evening, we head over to the Cosmopolitan event, whose current round is open until the 1st of May. I was deeply drawn to the Entice offering, and wait until you see the wide variety available! Does anyone else feel like this has been a really long week so far? It hasn't been bad, just very slow moving I guess. Tomorrow evening I will be watching a hockey game, so that might be exciting ;) The only excitement I had today was a wasp or hornet (I cannot tell the difference, but it was slender and leggy) getting into my room here, which was startling for sure. I have not seen it tonight so it probably got back outside, at least that is my hope. They have tried to built nests inside the window I am facing, so someone will have to come out and look at it I guess. Evil Bunny Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I explored some of the Evil Bunny Hunt, which is impressively in its 11th annual round and has us looking for nice and/or evil eggs at each participating store. The hunt's website will guide you with hints and information on which egg is at each stop, plus the landmarks so you know where you're heading :) The nice eggs are white with a halo and wings, while the evil eggs are red with horns. I wound up in a nice mood rather than evil I guess, since most of the prizes I am showing tonight are from those good little eggs. 

My first look this evening is the nice egg prize from Emerald Couture called EC Kiki Dress. It is provided in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The elegant floral design is complemented by the burgundy straps, bow, and hem ruffle. It is a flirty dress, and their evil egg prize (not shown) is even more so! There are pictures of both by the hunt sign in the store, so you can see and decide if you want one or both. 

Another store with both nice and evil eggs to find is BlondeQueen, and again I have chosen to share the nice egg's prize with everyone :) This is their adorable BQ::Kawaii Bunny Dress:: which comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. The strapless mini has a precious bunny snuggling a carrot on the front, which absolutely makes me smile every time I glance at it. 

Next I headed to Frick-n-Frack (formerly Donni's Dollies) and found their nice egg, which contains the charming F-n-F Casey Cardigan & Shorts Easter prize. The cropped cardigan and cuffed shorts are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. There is also a HUD provided with 8 choices for each, so 8 seasonal textures for the sweater with 8 coordinated solid colors for the shorts. I know it's a little past Easter, but this outfit was simply too cute to ignore. This nice egg contains a gift for the guys too, so please pass that information along to anyone who would be interested!

I always appreciate finding new stylish casual outfits, so you can imagine my delight with the [Ari-Pari] gift called Thalia Outfit - EBH11. It consists of a corset top and shorts with attached belt, each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. There is also a HUD with 8 colors to choose from for the top and 8 matching prints for our shorts, so we can mix and match to suit any mood. The color of the belt is determined by the color print you choose for the shorts, as it changes right along with them. I am excited to wear this dashing duo in spring and summer. 

My final look of the evening is the prize from Princess Stuff called Bodytalk Dress, found inside a nice egg. It includes the bunny ears with built in resize script as a bonus to the dress in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The shiny halter dress has a smattering of bunny faces on it, and the hot pink looks extra dramatic trimmed in black. 

It is a warm evening here, and I have a window open to let the fresh air in :) It feels wonderful! It will be getting chilly for a few days again, so I am enjoying this while I can.
