Hiya everyone! Tonight are you ready to help Belle Epoque celebrate their 6th birthday? What if I said there are free gifts and cupcakes involved? :) They are hosting a hunt until the end of the month, with free cupcakes that hold 30 gifts by them and one each from over a half dozen guest artists. Explore the store, look high and low, and get your sugar rush with a side of free fashion and accessories. They did a wonderful job of hiding them in plain sight in many cases, like on vendor signs in a model's hand, but some are shy and just want to hang out in a corner. I remember their birthday hunt last year and thoroughly enjoyed that too, so it is a pleasure to share more gifts for their 6th special day. No group tag is needed for this hunt by the way, just find them and purchase for $0L with one exception that delivered a gift as soon as I clicked it.
My first look is the charming Belle Epoque - Candace BE6A dress, which like most of their offerings is created to fit Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. The soft dusky green color reminds me of a forest, maybe ferns...something lush and botanical. It has a professional feeling to the style, with maybe a hint of 60s for fun.
If you are in the mood for a different type of green treat, maybe the avocado pattern from the Belle Epoque - Roxanne BE6A will be your favorite. It is provided in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, with mid length sleeves cuffed at the elbow and a shape that skims the body. The fabric pattern is really a fun touch, even if it makes you crave guacamole.
Next I changed into the Belle Epoque - Aria BE6A dress, yet another generous birthday gift hidden inside a yummy cupcake. The striking pale aqua color almost made me think of robin eggs, but they might lean more blue than green. At any rate, what a cleverly designed style this is with that bare shoulder, long sleeve, and unique split skirt! This beauty comes in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies.
This Belle Epoque - Circe BE6A dress has some similarities to the previous gift above, besides being provided in the same two popular sizes :) The powdery pink color looks so pretty, and the style reminds me of a mix of tuxedo and crisp mini dress. The collar is just on the side with the sleeve, leading to the single button holding the wrap skirt in place. The pocket flaps are a fun detail as well, and you can see from behind that the hem is slightly longer and rounded back there, like a men's dress shirt typically is.
For my final look this evening, I am wearing the chic Belle Epoque - Tyra BE6A gift which is another terrific shade of green that really suits my auburn hair :) It comes in Legacy and Maitreya mesh body sizing, and has a t-shirt style top tucked into a belted skirt with sporty pockets. On second thought, that could be a peplum addition with the pockets built on, but either way it is a lovely dress whose pencil skirt hits right above the knee. You could wear this just about anywhere, like I will while gridwide hunting very soon ;)
It was simply a day, neither good nor bad really, although I did enjoy my time at Belle Epoque. I think I needed more rest than I got, so I've had some green tea for a mild pop of caffeine. I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
