Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sharing some prizes from the CMH Baby It's Cold Outside 5 hunt, where the designers can offer $1L prizes or $25L - $50L exclusives for this round of the Cheeky Monkey Hunt extravaganza :) As always, their website will guide you with landmarks, hints, prices, and photos, so you can plan your exploration of the hunt path accordingly. Just check each store for the pretty white snowflakes. I'm such a fan of so many of the creators who take part in these hunts, so you know my little fangirl heart is singing with happiness here! That really is why I do this, to share the things that capture my attention so you can appreciate them as well.
The endlessly impressive ART & FASHION has 2 treats waiting for us, one of which is this lovely $1L WINTER FASHION OUTFIT. Our jacket, skirt, and boots are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The sleeveless jacket has extended sides down to the ankle, while the front and back are notched to show off a bit of the miniskirt. I do enjoy above-the-knee boots too, and these have slender stiletto heels for an extra dash of chic.
Find the $1L snowflake at GoodVibes to receive their Snow Cute Apricot dress. Not only does it include the dress in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies, but you'll also find BOM panties and stockings (separate layers) to enjoy with it. Did you notice the seams running up the back of the stockings? Sizzling! The dress has such a fun holly pattern, and embroidered apricot snowflake in the middle of the chest to match the trim of our hem and sleeves.
This gorgeous look is our ~Sassy!~ Aeris dress - Nordic teal prize, a $25L exclusive offer. I'm always drawn to this style of knit pattern, and have been positively obsessed with teal lately :) The bare shouldered, long sleeved mini dress will fit Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.
The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. is a reliably consistent contributor to all the Cheeky Monkey events, and I'm sharing two of their offerings here at once. For $25L you can pick up the SO LET'S CUDDLE Tee exclusive, which says "It's COLD, let's cuddle". I've absolutely said those exact words, LOL, and when you ask the right person it can be both effective and rewarding. The $50L exclusive for this round is their SO FREAKING COLD Tee, with a polar bear saying "I Am So FREAKING Cold". That's been me lately, although we'd had slightly warmer days that are going to dip down below freezing again all too soon. Both of these are provided in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. It's on an unpacker HUD though, so just deliver what you need right now and hold onto the HUD for future use :)
My final look of the evening has tickled my funny bone since I first spotted it on the hunt's website, so I couldn't wait to share! CloudNine Her Year of the Horse T-shirt is a $1L prize in the same snowflake as the "His" version, celebrating the Chinese zodiac year starting next month. Some cheeky horses are pictured with "Year of the Horse" written above them, and "Live like the gate is open!" beneath. There are sizes for Erika, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies included. I even took a rear view photo to show that the image appears on the back of our shirt as well :) I'm still sitting here laughing at that one horse who really said 😛.
Whew, this day certainly had some ups and downs for me...an 'up' would be getting to play Hello Kitty with my friend as I do each week, chatting and giggling over random things. The main 'down' was the farmers market canceling for Saturday because of possible rain, which I'm showing as being possibly half an inch total for the entire day. Winds up to 10mph is fairly minimal too, so he may have overreacted as he did many times last winter. I'm friends with his wife on social media (yes, the book of faces) and I'm going to be super annoyed if she posts pictures of a fancy vacation abroad again instead of hosting the market. I don't begrudge people having fun at all, but if it affects other people's livelihoods then that's an issue. The vendors who planned on being there and prepped all their food are probably pretty disappointed too.
