In my first look, I am definitely ready to hit the town! The dresses you see here are just two of the several available at the Luziefee cart, their Zaya Spring Dress in aqua on the left and nude on the right. I decided that since variety is so fun, we needed to see another weekend look, and one thing that spring brings to mind for me is flowers. So I draped myself in some floral finery! The dress is found at the Savoha cart, just $10L will get you their Summer Mini Dress in standard mesh sizes. There are of course other offerings, both casual and dressy, for mesh or classic avatars. As for my shoes, they are one of several shades of Dahlia Heels from .:battle fairy:. and this one is in ivory. They and the other shades are only $10L each, and there is a trio pack of shoes as their special $50L offering too. The lovely Dahlia heels include sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high as shown here, and I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite variety since they are all beautiful. Maybe instead of sweet and innocent, I need a more edgy look...so I was intrigued when I tried on this alluring outfit hiding in the Womenstuff t-shirt at Hardcore Clothing. It is called My Darkness Womens Outfit, and includes the dress in plenty of mesh sizes (Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, Tonic Fine, Tonic Curvy, and TMP) plus the matching choker and even those wild heels for Belleza, Maitreya, or Slink. The heels are tall and have some spikes on the back as well as around the ankle strap, and definitely add pizazz. Just find the t-shirt and you can claim this gift for free.
This prize combines sweet and edgy, and does so quite beautifully. This is the prize you will find at Syren's Song and is called Raven Black, in standard mesh sizes along with a fitted version and ones for Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya. I love the laced corset contrasted with sheer lace, two different versions of lace that look terrific together. I am wearing the black panties that come with the Slink Physique body (the underwear layer that you can apply from the body's HUD) and I honestly cannot tell for sure if I am seeing that or if there are panties built into the texturing of the skirt itself, so you may want to keep that in mind if you are heading to a sim whose maturity rating would require all bits to be fully covered. I just happened to already be wearing panties as force of habit, after having a mishap once where someone got a bit creepy after noticing (in other words camming up my skirt apparently) that I'd forgotten.
One last look of the evening, this free prize can be found at Vanbeeck's and is named Spring Poofy. It is a soft beige color and scattered with what I imagine is a meadow's worth of butterflies, and it includes standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. I had a long and somewhat bizarre day, some intense family history was discussed with me that I was unaware of until tonight and I'm still reeling. Nothing scandalous, no juicy gossip, just things that happened way before I was born that shocked me to hear. I am just glad things worked out for the best in the long run. I do feel like telling all of you to go hug your oldest living relative while you still can, but I'm trying not to get too carried away ;) Suggesting hugs is never a bad thing though. Let's have a look at some prizes from the Womenstuff Hunt :) This is our prize from Emerald Couture, their Stacee Green Outfit. It includes the flowing strapless top and wrapped skirt each in standard sizes plus a fitted version and Slink Hourglass and Slink Physique sizes, and even the cute sandals are provided in Slink flat as well as unrigged versions so you can adjust the unrigged to suit other flat style feet. This outfit is a classy casual type look for warmer weather, which there is plenty of in SL of course :)
This elegant gown is our prize from MARIPOSA, and you will definitely want to have advanced lighting turned on in your settings to fully appreciate it (there is a notecard inside explaining how to do so). It is called Alexis Magenta and comes in standard mesh sizes plus 5 fitmesh sizes, along with Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique fits. There is also a face light and a body light provided, now I am already wearing the facelight from my mesh body so I added the body light and it picked up that gorgeous purple-blue shimmer you can see dancing gently across the fabric. The iridescent look is certainly beautiful and even more so in person.
One last look of the evening, this is the Womenstuff prize from MadcatCreations. I have been finding myself wanting to change my hair and my skin quite often lately, almost a restless feeling or just craving strong doses of variety. If lindens were coins in our avatars' pockets, you could probably find enough for a shopping spree here in the cushions of your SL sofa ;) That mental image makes me chuckle, I admit, but I have always been impressed with the discounts you can find here each round. You have just under a week to visit, so I hope you put it on your to-do list. I am also fond of hunts for freebies or dollarbies, and tonight I have a few more prizes from the Kikai Spring Market easter egg hunt for you to see. The eggs are all free, and the prizes range from clothing to accessories to home decor and more. Some of the participating stores are new to me, while others are happily familiar.
Let's start with a couple of delightful finds from the Wash Cart Sale. My outfit here is from Brandy's Boutique and is called Missy Missy Denim Suit Blue. It includes system layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Lena, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. There are also cuffs which I am wearing here, with a built in resize script for a better fit. Just $10L for this comfy, sexy outfit, along with several other clothing choices. The terrific bench I am sitting upon is one of the many offerings from Low Prim Living, their Ashley Gossip Bench which has a very reasonable land impact of 4. There are dozens of animated poses to choose from, 14 female and 14 male or 12 unisex for a single avatar, or add that special someone and there are 8 cuddles, 9 kissing, and a total of 31 adult options (7 foreplay, 15 sex, 9 get freaky) so there is a truly impressive range. Something else worth mentioning, there are poses for drinking that will (with your permission) attach a glass of champagne to your hand rather than adding it to your inventory, my favorite of which was reading and drinking so you are kicked back with a good book and tasty beverage. There is even a menu for changing the texture of the cushion I am sitting on, 4 colors of that same pretty pattern. Another cart we don't want to miss is by Artic Storm, with several offerings that have never been released prior to this cart sale including the lovely Gemma Pink Mesh dress seen here. Over at the Kikai Spring Market, one of the participating stores I am gladly familiar with is Moonstar and their egg holds this Mesh Golden Jumpsuit. This pretty one piece outfit with intriguing pattern comes in standard mesh sizes, which suited my Slink Physique body just fine as you can see. I like the unusual neckline with those folded down portions, they would make a great frame for your favorite necklace.
Two more playful prizes you can find in those hidden eggs, my new cuddle buddy is from TRS Designs called Bunny Plush Spring and has a built in hold pose, seen here. That face is just so sweet! Speaking of adorable faces, I had to put down the bunny long enough to show you the design on my outfit from Cutie Larks called Just Ducky Outfit Fitmesh. It is a single fitmesh size and just one piece for both top and skirt. I really do appreciate the versatility of fitmesh.
One last look of the evening, you can find this lovely dress from Emmalena Damour Designs in their egg at Kikai. It is called KSM Bodycon Dress Lycra Spandex Amethyst, and consists of a skirt panel in standard mesh sizes, system layers, and appliers for Altamura, eBody, Belleza, Eve, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. This is a really flattering look, hugging my curves and revealing just a flash of thigh from that sexy slit in the skirt.
My sleep difficulties are back with a vengeance, so I am a bit groggy and hoping I mostly made sense here tonight ;) I cannot imagine what the problem is this time, but sleep that is so frequently disrupted does not feel restful at all. Let's peek inside a few more Easter Eggs from the Kikai market, shall we? This is our prize from Emerald Couture, their EC Rock The Rabbit Purple N Gray. It features a fun shirt dress with a bunny eared hood, and a cute rocking rabbit on the chest, in 6 mesh sizes (standard and one called flexi, probably a fitted) plus those cute leggings with music notes down the left leg are included in system layers and an Omega HUD. Even the boots for Slink High feet are tucked in there, finishing off the look so nicely.
One of my favorite colors is purple like that prior outfit, and another is pink as seen here, so tonight's colors are all making me happy. This is the prize from SweetReds Designs and is named Julie. She is included in standard mesh sizes, and is a great choice for a breezy look on a warm spring day. I am fond of hearts too, so those scattered about the plaid of the fluttery skirt caught my attention too.
One more pretty in pink look, this dress is hiding in the egg from MYSTY and is called Spring Dress Woman Gift Kikai Hunt Spring Market. That's a mouthful :) There are system layers and an Omega applier for the top and glitch pants, then the flexi skirt has a built in resize script so this dress can suit a generous range of bodies and shapes. I felt a nice way to dress it up would be to add a single accessory, and one of the eggs from SugarBaker's provided these striking Easter Bangles that fit the bill. They have a resize script built in so you can adjust these as necessary, and there is another version in a different egg so keep on searching :) I think they would look wonderful against a solid black dress too, or even a shirt in any color found in the bangles and your favorite jeans.
I did catch up on sleep today, and was surprised when I finally woke up that April the giraffe didn't decide to have the baby while I slept. I feel that way every time I get any rest lately though, that I'll miss it! Poor girl, she must be tired of being pregnant by now, it can't be easy no matter what species. Hiya everyone! It is raining here as I type this, so that inspired the title of my post this evening. Tonight I am pleased to show you some more bargains you can find at The Wash Springtacious Cart Sale, the seasonal event taking place until April 12th where all items are $10L each, with the exception of a special (optional) $50L item per cart. There is a wonderful variety here, as you have seen in my past few posts and will continue to see here. There is also another event with an Easter egg hunt that I wanted to share, it is at Kikai Spring Market and there are a few dozen eggs hidden around the market either near their carts (yep, another cart sale) or in the stores that line the area. These eggs are decorated in a variety of colors and patterns, and often tucked beneath the shelf of the cart or hiding behind the items for sale. It is a great place to wander and explore, to see what you can discover. The hunt runs until the 16 of April, so you have until Easter Sunday to visit and locate all the eggs.
Our first glimpse is two of the cute tied t-shirts at the Mystic Dragon Designs cart at The Wash. The one on the left is named Calla, and on the right is Bohdi, each are just $10L and include standard mesh sizes along with a fitted version, plus Slink Hourglass and Slink Physique sizes. There are other selections on the cart as well, so be sure to use the link in the credits to head directly to their cart. They also have a marketplace store you can visit by clicking here, to see what else they offer. I'm sure you noticed the gorgeous eye shadow I am wearing, that can also be found at The Wash if you visit the Xxxtasi display. I am wearing their Sprung Shadow here, which for just $10L includes 6 colors in system layers and an Omega HUD. I am enjoying a purple shade on the left, a smoky charcoal on the right, and a hot pink hue in the closeup inset. Still in the mood for some casual shirts, I suggest heading over to the Tiar cart where you can find a few variations of this attractive side-knotted shirt. On the left I am wearing BBG You Suck, and on the right you see BBG Spoiled Brat, each of which include several mesh sizes: Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. Over to the Easter egg hunt at Kikai, let's start with this adorable outfit from Donnique's Designs called Reggie Outfit & Sneaks Heels in Lavender. The tank and leggings are each included in standard mesh sizes, and the sneakers were a perfect fit for my Slink High feet. I love the pretty egg and flower design on the tank top, which is echoed in miniature on each shoe.
Another terrific hunt prize is the Alegant Teal Maxi Skirt with Loose Top, in a richly textured fabric that suits any season. The top and skirt are each in standard mesh sizes, which as you can see worked nicely with my Slink Physique body. Just explore and find those eggs, so you can claim this and many other fun gifts.
One last peek of the night, this is the hunt prize from Charisma Designs and is named Mystique Mini Dress. An extra burst of insomnia led to a challenging day, and I am a bit behind my usual schedule tonight, but am relieved to have finally gotten a bit of rest and am hoping for a much more restful Tuesday. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more bargains to show you from The Wash Springtacious Cart Sale, which runs until April 12th and features many of your favorite (or new/future favorite!) designers with items for $10L each, with an optional $50L special offering per cart. Welcome the new month with fresh home decor, or clothing for men, women, or children, and you can even pick up some inexpensive jewelry and shoes to accessorize while there. I also have a couple more Kiyomizu Hunt prizes to share, just search for the hidden ninja cats and you can claim dozens of free prizes. This hunt lasts until the 9th of April, and is a seasonal treat so I am already looking forward to the summer edition as well as enjoying the spring round.
I was feeling casual today since it is Sunday, so I quite enjoyed the selection of Relax Lounge Wear outfits at the Mishmash Fusion cart at the Wash. This is Spring Dragonfly, and there are other color/pattern options as well, just $10L each. The outfit comes in 8 fitmesh sizes which include Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and Maitreya versions along with standard mesh sizing, and I love the little drawstring bow at the waist. The Artist Shed is offering some adorable pouffes at the cart sale, so in the spirit of relaxation I chose to have a seat on their Vintage Spring Pouffe in Hydrangea. There are 4 versions available on their cart for $10L each, and they each have a different animated sitting pose inside so you can pick up a few and scatter them about (copy permissions so rez as many as you need) and enjoy the variety. This pose is called crossed, and I tend to sit like this at my desk here sometimes so it had a familiar coziness. I may have broadened my definition of casual here, as these lingerie sets from JellyRoll are wonderful for unwinding at home. In fact, they are called Everyday Lingerie, and the Unicorns version is seen on the left while I am wearing the Sweets version on the right. I love the little ice cream cones, and the background pattern reminds me of mint chocolate chip. Each lingerie set is just $10L and includes standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Lara, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine fits so just about every shape or body can look terrific. There are a few other fun texture choices there as well, and at this bargain price you can pick up as many as you like and perhaps do a bit of mixing and matching. One of my favorite stores in the Kiyomizu Hunt is Karin, ever since discovering them at the Kiyomizu Mall a few years ago I have been impressed with their texturing and beautiful clothing. Their prize for us this hunting round is this lovely Blouse and Skirt in a soft lavender shade, with clever cat silhouettes hiding among flowers. It makes perfect sense, since finding a hiding kitty rewards us with the prize :) The blouse and skirt are each provided in standard mesh sizes, and I am wearing the medium size of each with my Slink Physique body here.
One last look of the evening, this is our hunt prize from POZA MART and is called Lady's Suit in Navy. It is a single mesh piece with the look of two or three, thanks to the 3/4 sleeve jacket and white shirt beneath, and mini skirt. It is included in standard mesh sizes, and is a fun look for everyday or perhaps roleplaying as an executive or teacher, lawyer comes to mind as well. Just find that hidden ninja kitty to claim this for free.
My houseguests are loudly watching Wrestlemania so I have an amusing distraction going on tonight, I don't mind because it isn't like I am trying to sleep or anything and I used to be a big wrestling fan myself. Another fantastic cart to find some perfect dresses for Spring is the K&A Design womens' cart (their mens' items are on the cart right next door) for a variety of designs and patterns. This is their Cari Tropical Dress, which I am enjoying in the Spring Floral pattern on the left, and Orange on the right. $10L each, other varieties available as well, and each dress includes standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. I picked up this very cute Kiyomizu Hunt prize by finding the hidden ninja cat at *Ran*. It is a one piece mesh outfit of overalls and a striped tank top layered beneath, and is provided in 4 standard mesh sizes (XS, S, M, L). The bright blue looks so pretty against the black and white of the tank top, and this is a fun outfit for casual SL pursuits like gridwide hunting or whatever you wish.
Another stop in the Kiyomizu Hunt is Hi's Style, and their ninja kitty will reward you for finding him by giving you this beautiful dress. It includes several fitmesh sizes: 5 standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. The soft pink shade is quite lovely, and the style reminds me of a modern take on the classic toga. You can see that it has a high slit on the left side, and the straps are unique because of the draping.
My weekend is going well so far, I misunderstood the plans for a houseguest who is staying a day longer than I realized, and that is not particularly good news (not all houseguests are always welcomed by all residents of a house I suppose) but I will amuse myself by spending time in SL of course :) It serves as an excellent distraction sometimes.
