Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Designer Showcase, who are celebrating their 8th Anniversary this round. What an impressive milestone for an event, and how are they celebrating? With gifts for their customers, most of which need a free VIP group tag to claim. My first look is the gift from Celestina's Weddings called .:(CW):. Anais - Skinny Rompers, and it is quite versatile. The romper itself comes in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. There is also a HUD included that has 8 texture choices for you, two of which can be seen above.
Next we visit the display of Hilly Haalan, where you will find this great gift called [hh] Daren Satin Dress. Just because the majority of the holidays are over, doesn't mean you need to put away all your sparkly clothing! I was so excited to see this gift from ::ALTER:: called Sofia Lace Up Shirt, which has an eye-catching golden sequin texture and a daring laced back. I am wearing my favorite marketplace freebie gift with it, the Delizio jeans in light blue, but you could pair this with just about any pants or skirt that catch your fancy.
My final look of the evening is a closer view of the nails from tonight, the gift from Moondance Boutique called Aleiah Nail Applier Fat Pack. There are HUDs included for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, Tonic, and Vista, each offering 10 colors of this charming design of etched roses. They are all paler at the tips and darker towards the cuticle, a delicate ombre.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to share the newest Sn@tch Fish 4 This set, which is called Cheers to the Real Me. It started on Wednesday and these sets are usually in the 'waters' for 2 weeks, so you have some time to grab that 7 Seas fishing rod (in the store or on the marketplace), hang out and catch some treats. There are 21 pieces in this set, most items are bagged (with different sizes or colors together) except the Omega appliers are sets of all the available colors on one HUD. This round brings us 6 tops (5 colors with built in corsets, and just the corset alone) plus 4 mesh skirts (sizes: Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique) and stockings in 6 colors. There is also a fun hairstyle in 3 colors with 2 sizes each, and accessories include earrings, a bracelet, and boots in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. We can even catch a bra and panties set in system layers along with an Omega applier. All the pieces are transferable so you can swap your duplicates with friends and help each other collect the full set faster. I have Xan to thank for his assistance, as always ♥.
We start with the Sn@tch Nanette Hair in Black, which is a full wavy style with a few strands from the crown pulled back into a poof. Our bangs are swept back too, while the sides frame the face and cascade over our shoulders. I am wearing the Sn@tch Bound Corset Top Purple on the left, and the Corset only version on the right, which is why I am turned to the side to hide my bared breasts. The sleeves come down to the glove layers, so our hands stay toasty warm. I'm also enjoying the Sn@tch Craving Pencil Skirt in Black, one of the 4 versions that are part of this set.
For this look I switched into the Nanette Hair in Ash Blonde, a lovely shade that contrasts nicely with the darkness of the Bound Corset Top in Black. This skirt is the Craving Pencil Skirt in Black Stripe, and I have added the Sn@tch Real Me Bracelet in black which is worn on the right wrist. I'm also now wearing the Sn@tch Snap Latex Stockings in Teal, a random selection from the Omega applier since they all would look pretty with this neutral toned outfit.
Next we have the Bound Corset Top in two more colors: Purple on the left and Teal on the right. The skirt is the Craving Pencil Skirt in Grey, a perfect choice to go with any of the tops. I'm also wearing the Snap Latex Stockings in Purple on the left, Taupe on the right, and I've added the Sn@tch Isabelle Boots which are a coal color. I added the earrings from this set called Real Me Earrings, but they are hiding fairly well under the fullness of my hair ;)
Our Nanette Hair looks wonderful in Red too, and the Bound Corset Top is beautiful in Burgundy. The stripes on the Craving Pencil Skirt in Grey Stripes are a sharp match for the corset part of the top, aren't they? These stockings are the Plum color, so I didn't match the top exactly just for fun. Feel free to mix and match as much as you wish.
My final look of the evening features the alluring Sn@tch Alexia Velvet Lingerie in Black, a bra and panty that are edged in gorgeous scalloped lace. The boots and stockings (Snap Latex Stockings Black) give this look a different flavor, a bit edgy while staying flirty. This also gives you a better look at the top of the stockings, which were hidden beneath the skirts in all of their appearances above.
Whew, what a weekend! It felt like a whirlwind, and it's for the best that I didn't try to squeeze in a blog post when I was so busy and tired. Things went well though, and I've just got to plan my blog schedule around visits with family. I'll be missing at least one day of blogging, hopefully not much more than that though. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some terrific treats to share, starting with a DAZZLE exclusive hair from Alli&Ali Designs. The style is a glamorous updo with curled tendrils, and I personally prefer updos for showing off the back of fancy tops or dresses without the hair hiding anything. I also visited Kamiri, who have several group gifts available for various inworld groups including their own and Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News (MGSN). I am delighted to share some of those with you this evening too.
Our first look is the + Kamiri + Ziwa Ballgown Teal, which is their 7000 member group gift to celebrate a milestone in style. It starts with the top and pants in system layers plus appliers for Omega, Slink, Maitreya, Belleza, and TMP. There is a skirt panel in standard mesh sizes, as well as 3 flexi skirts to add fullness if you wish. The mesh wrap on my shoulders/arms is provided in standard sizing, and the bracelets and ruffled collar can be found inside too for a very complete look. The look is accentuated very beautifully by the A&A Timeless Hair by Alli&Ali, in Red Colors. It is $250L per color pack at DAZZLE and is an exclusive offer. The hair includes a very useful HUD that lets you adjust the size, turn brightness off and on, and choose your specific shade from a bevy of lovely auburns. There is even a decoration in the back of the hair (close view at the end of this post) and 10 options for that including invisible.
Next I switched into the Brown Colors pack of the A&A Timeless Hair, so you could see one of the charming brunette shades they offer. I am wearing the + Kamiri + Adele Dress, one of several MGSN group gifts I will be sharing tonight. Now since the group is about the Maitreya mesh body, the gift only includes that particular size, plus a HUD with 4 vibrant color choices. I made sure to include a side view, so you could see the dramatic side slits that make this dress extra sexy. Just wear the MGSN group tag (free to join) and click all the boxes on the counter upstairs in the store.
Next I chose the Spooky Colors set of the Timeless hairstyle, since the Goth type fades and ombres are a great touch with this full wispy style. It is available for the same price as the others ($250L) at DAZZLE, just click through the vendor with the arrows until you find your preferred colors. I am also enjoying two more MGSN group gifts from Kamiri, their Fabiana Top and Fabiana Shorts. Each comes in a Maitreya size, and each has a texture HUD with 3 color choices for us to have fun with. The top's other color is a bright blue, and the shorts have another color on their HUD that you'll see in the next photo.
Here we get to see the Blonde Colors of the Timeless hair, which may be the most flattering with my eyebrows :) I also think that blonde shades look particularly pretty with all the highlights that A&A's textures have, maybe because it reminds me of summers spent in the sunshine. I kept the Fabiana Shorts on to wear with another MGSN group gift, the + Kamiri + Primizia Sequin Top. It comes in a Maitreya size with a 3-texture HUD, and is intriguing with the high neck in the front and deep plunge in the back. It is dressy enough to wear with a skirt, yet casual enough to go with shorts or jeans, it just depends on your mood and tastes.
My final look of the evening features a gift you can find at DAZZLE this month, the A&A Timeless Unicorn Colors. There is a gift box in front of their display that contains it, just purchase for $0L to claim it. There are so many playful color combinations, you can tell I had lots of fun with the HUD. You can also see in the inset, a closer look at one of the two sides of the decor of the hair, very appropriately designed to look like the hands of a clock. As for my dress, that is another MGSN group gift from Kamiri called Cristina Xmas Dress. The top and pants come in appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP, with the inner skirt panel in standard mesh sizes. The collar, sleeves, and beaded belt all have built in resize scripts so you can adjust them if necessary, and the bows on the collar and cuffs are lovely.
My plans for the weekend are going to take up most of my day tomorrow, so there will be no blog post tomorrow night but I'll be back Sunday with something else special for you to enjoy. Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the DAZZLE event for its January round, whose theme is Clocks as in "The Clock is Ticking for New Resolutions". It is a meaningful way to start the new year, and the designers have all provided exclusive creations which makes them all the more special. I am always intrigued by the interpretations of each theme, so a stroll through the expertly decorated event is always a treat. I also chose the popular Glitter store to visit, just two stops this evening, and I am pleased to share some of their current group gifts. The group is free to join, and you will find these gifts near a Christmas tree on the very back wall of their store.
My first look of the evening is our exclusive DAZZLE offer from Cygnus Designs called Persistant Remembrance Cocktail Dress. It has a pocket watch image layered atop a golden pattern of clockwork components, which reminds me of Steampunk. The dress includes standard mesh sizes along with Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Physique, and Physique Petite. There is no Maitreya size which is the body I am wearing, but one of the standard sizes worked like a charm after a few alpha adjustments. Our next stop at the DAZZLE event is the {Melt} display, where this beautiful Birdie Bell Gown exclusive can be yours for just $150L. We can tint these rich satiny fabrics in any combination we wish, so have fun with the very useful HUD. The style reminded me to mention that there is a Medieval Fantasy fair coming up in SL in a few weeks, a fantastic opportunity to wear this lovely gown.
Now I'd like to whisk you over to Glitter, where there is a wall displaying an impressive number of group gifts currently available for their free group members, including this elegant Starry Night mesh gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes, and includes a tulle veil hat that is not shown above (my hair never seems to play nicely with hats). The neckline plunges both front and back, and the gold accents are simply stunning.
You can also find this flirty Closer Lingerie Set on the wall of gifts, and with that sequin texture it lives up to the Glitter store name ;) The top and panties each come in standard mesh sizes, and the top is trimmed in lace to highlight the sparkle and satin.

It was quite a day, I am trying to distract myself from a local tragedy that is affecting many people in my area. It was a car accident that may have been intentional (possible suicide attempt) and cost 3 lives but not that of the one who caused it. Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore a $1L gridwide hunt called Vintage Christmas Hunt, which runs until the 15th of January. Don't worry, there are prizes that are not specifically Christmas themed, so you can still enjoy them :) You will be looking for a candy cane in classic red and white stripes, and many of the stores have one on their sign with a hint available when you click it. There also hints and some previews on the hunt's website. So many presents for us to enjoy for only a single linden each, we are very lucky to have hunts like this to appreciate.
First we have the charming Christmas Pin-up gift from #bye, which stands for Best You Ever. The stripes and double row of buttons in the front give it a nautical feel, but the bows and general style give it a retro flavor too. Either way, I plan on enjoying this beauty year round.

Today was on the challenging side here, making plans to see relatives I didn't get to spend time with yet for the holidays. I also had a run-in with a household pest, and I'm still not sure who was more scared, me or the mouse! There are woods behind my backyard, so having mice isn't surprising, but when one suddenly darts through your kitchen it can be a shock. Oh well, no real harm done. For my last look of the evening, I visited Nebulous Designs where I claimed this Prohibition Dress in lemon kush. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more Kiyomizu Hunt prizes to share, and plenty of wishes for a beautiful new year. As I mentioned in yesterday's post, the hunt starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and the best way to get a list of where you need to visit is by clicking a floating ghost. He'll send you to a website that tells you how many ninja cats you have found and where you will need to visit yet. The cats are very clever and sneaky, sometimes shrinking to tiny sizes and other times flattening themselves and slipping into walls, so be prepared for a challenge :)
My first look this evening is the prize from Magnolia, this pretty strapless mini dress with polka dots. It comes in a single mesh size, so I would have to guess it is fitmesh. The scalloped hem is a fun touch, isn't it?
Frangipani Garden has a cute kitty for us to find too, containing their *FG* Ugly Christmas Sweaters. There are two sweater sets included, red and green, each in a size for classic (also compatible with Slink etc.) and one with a Maitreya auto-hide script built in. The lights on the tree actually blink, a clever detail that made me giggle.
Since it is another chilly RL night for me, I was very pleased to find this Loose Sweater Blue in the Shop Ichiko cat's gift. It comes in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a lovely pattern of snowflakes on a pale blue background. I'm wearing it with the Delizio jeans that appear on my blog very frequently, a marketplace freebie that comes in several colors as system layers, Omega appliers, and Maitreya appliers.
The prize from CRYSTINE is this sensational Winter Goth Dress. It comes in 3 standard fitmesh sizes (XS, S, M) plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The style has so many eye-catching details, like the skirt layers and the corset type lacing in the back.
For my final look of the evening, I am enjoying the SHOP KERO gift called Diamond Tuck Stand Collar Suit. It is provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a texture HUD featuring 10 different colors. All the shades have the same diamond pattern, such a sharp look for so many occasions.
You can probably guess that I didn't have any plans for tonight, LOL, which I am perfectly happy with...I was right here blogging, chatting with Xan, and flipped over to ABC to watch the ball drop in Times Square. There are fireworks still going off in my neighborhood, and I got a message from my mom that their birds are singing loudly enough to drown out the fireworks, which makes me smile. I don't usually make New Years resolutions, so instead I try to think of any positive things I did in 2018 that I'd like to carry over in 2019, as well as general goals or hopes for the year ahead. The most important thing is anything I can do to improve my health, which has been fairly up and down in 2018 with some aspects being somewhat preventable. I would like to meditate more, and express my gratitude more to people who deserve it but don't hear it enough.
