TRS Designs Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit just one store, TRS Designs, and score some wonderful gifts while we are there. There are 2 midnight mania boards that you can click without needing a group tag, and two lucky chairs that I haven't won anything from yet so I do not know if they need the group tag active or not ;) I had successfully clicked the MM boards the night before and did not have the group tag showing at the time. Be sure to bring your friends to click, to ensure it reaches the required number of clicks so everyone can win. There are also group gifts, for the TRS Designs group and several others that you may already be a member of, as I was (SLF&O, MGSN, etc.). Their store group is free to join, so these generous presents won't cost you a thing.

Let's start with one of the current Midnight Mania prizes, their Stella Dress Violet. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The vibrant color looks great against the sequin textured trim, and I love the way the straps cross in the back then come around to the front to loop through and tie beneath the chest. 

Next we take a look at the group gifts for the TRS Designs group, starting with this stylish Beka Dress Navy. The strapless dress is ruched to fit snugly, and the sleeves are connected by a slender bit of fabric beneath each arm. The gift includes standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. 

This look is the Hannah Dress Orange group gift, which comes in the same mesh sizes as the previous two I shared. The color on a denim fabric is more of a burnt rusty shade than a bright orange, and I find this one to be flattering even with my auburn hair. I am a big fan of details, and the distressed touches and back pockets really drew me to this dress.

Two of our group gifts are tops, so I slipped into my trusty Delizio jeans (free on the marketplace) in black, one of several colors provided in system/BOM layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers. They are a fun pairing for the gift called Secena Top Reaper, which is a tight tank with asymmetrical hem that might be tucked up on the short side. The gift includes standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions.

For my final look of the evening, I am sporting the Sophie Sweater Horse, another group gift for the TRS Designs group. The texturing makes this look like the comfiest sweater imaginable, and the abstract horse design on the front is very eye-catching. The gift includes standard mesh sizes in addition to eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing.

Trend Event Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a limited time offer to tell you about, as I just discovered an event that is ending soon. It is the Trend Event, and seems to be closing on the 16th from what I can tell, so please hurry if you are interested in visiting :) To inspire you, I am showing you some of the free gifts that the designers are offering, in bright pink gift packages at each display. Some are not free, but all of the ones I am sharing are. I do apologize for not much warning about these, but I rely on several different sources of information on events and this one was not advertised on any of those. Some things are too good to keep to myself though!

First we have the beautiful gift from NILSY called Coral Chiffon Dress. It includes plenty of sizes for just about every body: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The texture is amazing, as it is perfectly shaded that it looks like it is 3D with pleats and flowers. 

Little Wolf Design creates clothing for the Maitreya body, and their gift is the LWD-Camilla Top-Black Camo Set of which each piece is in a Maitreya size. The top has full ruffled sleeves that are off the shoulder, and the pants have a low waistline and a camouflage pattern. You could easily wear either piece separately to mix with something else in your wardrobe, as I am about to show you...

The pants from the LWD outfit came in handy for me to be able to show you this fun Crop Shirt from *Stars*Fashion*, which is one of two gifts they are offering. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and features a subtle pattern and deep unbuttoned neckline.

The other gift from *Stars*Fashion* is this playfully crafted dress, with a triangle opening in the front and a larger one in the back, above the fluted skirt. It includes sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies, with a 20-color HUD. Just click a star on the HUD and tint your dress that color :)

For my final look of the night, we have the gift from ~Rany~ which is their Ajda Outfit. The jacket and skirt each come in standard mesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous versions. They are detailed like a biker jacket only more revealing, and that zipper pull in the front of the skirt is hugely tempting! The bold color really catches the eye as well.

7Event Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading to the 7Event, whose current round (until the 20th of January) has a theme of Happy New Year Deals. There are some free gifts for all of us at various displays, while others are not free so please be aware of what you are clicking :) There is even a table near the landing area with more gifts, so it helps to look around carefully. I also would like to note that it is decorated beautifully. Some of these gifts are talking a walk on the wild side, as you will see...

My first look is the free gift from *It's Gau* called Alexya, a strapless mini dress in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version. The lace is very sheer, and I actually wound up using the Maitreya HUD to alpha out my nipples because they were protruding right through the lace of the fitted version which otherwise was the best fit. There is a gift for the men also, so be sure to claim this no matter which avatar you usually sport.

Our gift from Dark Love is their eye-popping DL - Micro Bikini - Pack, which includes a HUD to choose from 6 colors. There are sizes provided for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, all with fun bows in the back and on the sides to hold the tiny piece of fabric in place. SL has plenty of tropical climate sims, and a pool (private or otherwise) would be a terrific place to enjoy this gift as well.

I love denim, especially when it is broken in and looks so soft yet sturdy. Those thoughts all flashed through my mind as soon as I put on this gift from **ABSEN** called Jeans Dress - Lori. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and has just the right amount of being distressed, particularly those frayed edges.

Moonstar is also offering a free gift at the 7Event, their MESH Cara Buckle Top and Skirt with Necklace. The top and skirt each come in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The necklace has a built in resize script so you can adjust it, and there is even a modesty butterfly (little privacy undies) included as a system layer and an Omega applier. 

For my final look of the evening, I am enjoying the $1L gift from [WellMade], their lovely Amable Dress. This strapless mini with flared lace-topped skirt is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD included with both shades of purple shown above, which is honestly a tough choice because I am very fond of all shades of that color :) This is such a generous offer for just a single linden!

My day did not go as I expected, because I misread a calendar so I misinterpreted the hockey schedule. The game I thought was tomorrow was actually today, and my favorite team won but barely. Happy New Year Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several prizes to share from the Happy New Year Hunt, a $1L gridwide hunt where we are looking for champagne glasses. There are hints on the hunt's website, and all the SLurls are there to guide you from store to store along with previews for many of the goodies. They are impressive quality gifts for just a single linden each, and we have plenty of time since the hunt is open for the entire month of January.

Find the champagne glass picture (it's a flat prim image) at The Sissy Bar, and you can celebrate the new year in their cozy New Year Sweater Dress. The prize includes standard mesh sizes along with several for various mesh bodies: eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Just a helpful hint - the dresses are all no copy, so even though the prize says "add me" to unpack it, please rez it somewhere and right click and open it. Otherwise your folder will be nearly empty, and we wouldn't want that :)

I also found some tasty champagne at Grumble, which contains their Lace Bustier Plaid Mini. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. This is a very flirty style, with solid bra cups but very sheer beneath, and the short skirt is such a playful pattern.

This dazzling gown is our prize from PHE, their HNY Hunt Partydress multicolor. The gown itself is an elegant black with daring slit on the left side, and a single right strap to hold it up. It looks like it has been dipped in glitter that slowly dripped down towards the waist, very pretty! There is also a separate strand of pearls for the left hip, and each are provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing.

Next I located the champagne glass at Waffles, happily claiming their *WW* Dodger Blue Glitter Gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, so plenty for most classic or mesh avatars. The color is very rich and I find it cheerful, with tiny flecks of shimmer, and who could resist that long hem with fluted train?

My final look this evening comes from Miss Jewell, and is their Happy New Year Lingerie. This is a generous prize, as it includes the bodysuit in system/BOM layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Lolas, with bracelets for each wrist and a collar necklace to match. There is even a $50L gift card tucked in there, so you can save some money while you shop there next time. To wear this out and about, I would suggest layering your favorite skirt or pants over it.

It was a busy but enjoyable weekend here, and I am ready to face whatever the new week brings my way. Lurve at Free Dove

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit The Free Dove and claim some free group gifts which are all courtesy of the *Lurve* store. The free group tag you will need active says "Blessed by a Dove", then just give each of the boxes on the Lurve display a click to claim them. There are 6 different gifts from them at the moment, five of which I will be showing you in this post. You might find it easiest to locate the display by following the red arrow or beacon from your map when you click my link, if you have those active in your viewer. I find them really helpful so I never changed the default setting of using them in Firestorm.

My first look is the beautiful *Lurve* Mondrian Fitmesh Gown - Aqua. It comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, and even includes the  matching necklace with built in resizer script. The style of the gown verges on revealing, with the tiny bit of bum cleavage shown in the back and that deep plunging neckline. I like the colorblock pattern in subtly different shades!

Another flirty gown is the *Lurve* Magical Wishes Formal in Blue, a lacy treat in modest and cheeky versions. Each are provided in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, with the main difference being the cheeky version is sheer between the embroidery of the lace. I am wearing the modest on the left, cheeky on the right, so you can see the differences. The color makes me think of a midday sky with soft clouds.

This charming gift is the *Lurve* Love Blooms Mini & Panties in Pink, with an Asian flair and beautiful floral pattern. The dress and panties each come in standard mesh sizes along with versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. 

I have a huge crush on this gift, which is the *Lurve* First Crush in Teal. They are resizeable and both contribute so much to the look.

My final look of the night is the *Lurve* Star Spangled Mini 4, a slip of a dress in white satin with golden stars and top. There are also two sets of bracelets, left and right, which you can wear one or both of to accessorize the dress. It is fairly short from behind, so the panties are a nice safety measure ;)

Sometimes life in the Magpie household (LOL) gets rather complicated, and this week has somehow reached utter chaos level. I am okay, but I do need to take an evening off from blogging tomorrow. It is bound to happen occasionally, and at least I usually have the opportunity to give notice about it ahead of time as with this weekend. I did visit the podiatrist this morning for my ingrown toenail, and it was unpleasant but it feels mostly better already so I am glad I did it. I am seriously sleep deprived, but will be enjoying my usual Saturday activities (farmers market, etc.) for a while at least. Lucky At Scandalize

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more alluring gifts to share with you from Scandalize, all from their lucky boards. There are over a dozen and they change quickly, so I suggest you pop on that Scandalize group tag and hang out for a while :) The four on the top row are the newest additions to the lucky prizes, so even if you have been here before it's good to know there is something new to enjoy. The group is currently free to join, which has not always been the case, so now is the time to enjoy the benefits. 

For my first look, I chose the Scandalize. Liza. Pink lucky board prize, a playfully flirty outfit with two pairs of pants and a cropped shirt. The top and pants (solid and pattern) each come in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, with a HUD for the belt that is attached to each pair of pants. The HUD offers 44 solid colors and 22 patterns (plaid) to get creative with your belt.

This outfit is actually two separate prizes, but based on their names I believe they were designed to be worn together easily. The top is Scandalize. Indyle Top. Marine, and consists of the top and separate sleeves each in solid and stripe versions, sized for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya. The Indyle Pants. Marine come in the same sizing for solid and pattern versions plus gold and silver belly chains. There is also a HUD with 40 color choices for the button at the waist atop the zipper. 

I do enjoy plaid, so I was very excited to win the Scandalize. Teila. Brown outfit. The coat (solid and pattern versions) and dress, with a bonus bra style top (not shown) all come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There are HUDs too, one for the coat's buttons with 42 colors and another with 42 metals, 42 solid and 22 pattern for the belt, and 42 solid/22 patterned for the strips down the sides. I noticed two lovely ladies at the lucky boards the other night who were both wearing this particular outfit, so it is clearly popular :)

This prize gives you a dash of plaid too, and a bit of bold stripes for extra pizzazz. It is the Scandalize. Erikeha. Red, and includes the shirt (solid and strip), shorts (solid and pattern), and top (tube top with crossed straps beneath) each in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. There are so many possibilities here, like wearing the top without the shirt layered above or just the shirt with nothing beneath. 

For my final look of the evening, I selected one of the newer lucky board prizes called Scandalize. Madison. Black. The top and shorts each have solid and ombre versions, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The fade to pink is a fun touch, and the style of the top is delightfully suggestive with the flash of bare belly.

Well, my day took a strange turn that means tomorrow is going to be a doozy. I have an infected ingrown toenail that I foolishly thought would get better on its own, but instead it got worse so I am going to the podiatrist in the morning. I expect it will be pretty painful if they have to dig it out, but worthwhile to get it to a point where it can heal. I really ought to know better by now, since I've dealt with ingrown nails before, but there have been too many other things taking my attention away I guess. Scandalize Group Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a trip to Scandalize, whose group is still free to join and lets you access their lucky boards as well as claim dozens and dozens of free gifts. There is a strong focus on ladies' fashion here, with shoes and boots among the clothing, and most have HUDs with color options for some variety. It is usually fairly crowded in the store, and many of the people will be near the lucky boards waiting for their initial to show up, so join in the fun and hang out with them :) Or should I say "us", since I will be back there in a few hours to try to win some of the new prizes on the top row...I did not have much luck earlier, which is why all of tonight's looks are group gifts rather than lucky board prizes. Please note: when you first click the group gifts on the wall, they deliver a folder that contains the item to be unpacked, but that main folder is generally misnamed and most are the same name. So you need to open and check the contents before assuming it is a duplicate, or you may wind up deleting something by mistake.

My first look of the evening is the Scandalize BeJealous Dress group gift, a mini dress with playful cutouts both front and back. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with a HUD that offers 18 fantastic color choices. The fabric has a silky texture that looks pretty in every hue.

Next we see their gift called Scandalize Terr Dress Fur, which also has a HUD that provides 21 color choices that all have the lush brown fur collar. The dress itself comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes, with a kangaroo style pocket in front.

Another versatile gift is the Scandalize. Lavosh Dress, in the same sizes as the two prior gifts (Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP). This delight comes with a HUD to change the top and skirt colors independently, so you can mix and match to your heart's content among the 30 choices for each. 

This striking look is the Scandalize. Ambra Dress, a halter style mini that is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The HUD has 22 choices for each section: top, belt, and skirt. Two of them are metallic, for those extra fancy moods or events, and I made sure to use them both above so you could get a glimpse. You could wear one color on all 3 sections, or mix them up for a more vibrant feel.

My last outfit of the evening is probably the most complex, since it includes several different HUDs for extra versatility. It is the Scandalize Megan FATPACK gift, and starts with the top in long and short versions each with or without sleeves, and the pants of course, all in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. As for the HUDs, there is one for Bottoms and Bows (top and pants) with 22 solids, 22 strips, and 22 stars textures, and a HUD for the top with 22 each of solids, strips, stars for the base, top strip, bottom strip, and sleeve strip. There are HUDs with extra colors too, including a few prints among plenty of solid colors, so your best bet is to add them one at a time and start clicking to see what they do :) I was honestly so distracted by them, that I accidentally wore the same long top with sleeves in both sides of the above photo, but I trust you can visualize what the sleeveless version looks like.

I had a pretty good evening watching a hockey game (we won!) with the rest of my day having been fairly uneventful.
