I love the details like the zipper on the front of the skirt and its turned down waistband, and the different colored flowers comprising the shoes. Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the Around The Grid in 80 Days 6 Hunt, which started July 13th and lasts until the 30th of September. We're around the midway point now, so it seemed like a good time to show you some of the many prizes for just a single linden each that you could claim. The hunt object is a red and yellow striped hot air balloon (just right for long distance travel!) and the website has the links as well as many preview photos of prizes. When you arrive at each store, you can either follow the hint (website or sign) or you can purchase the prize outright without hunting for $25L instead of the $1L for the one that is hidden. There are male and female clothing prizes as well as accessories, decor, and much more.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to explore the new Fish 4 This set at Sn@tch, called See Me After Class. All you need is a 7 Seas fishing rod (can be purchased there and reused endlessly) and some spare time to relax at the Sn@tch store. There are 21 pieces to catch, starting with 7 colors of a flirty mesh top in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody Curvy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. There is a classy skirt in 3 colors, each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. There is also a set of lingerie in system layers plus an Omega applier, and for accessories we have a pair of unrigged booties, a necklace, and a pair of earrings. This set even goes from head to toe by including hair, a loosely gathered braid in 3 different hues. Plenty to mix and match for roleplay, private time with a special someone, or going out on the town.
First we see the Sn@tch Charity Hair in Black, one of the three shades you can fish for this round. On the left I'm wearing the Sn@tch Ayla Top in White, while on the right you can see it in Violet. Both look terrific with the Sn@tch Craving Skirt in Grey Tweed, a slender style with high waist and subtle ruffle at the hem.
The grey tweed skirt looks just as lovely with the Sn@tch Ayla Top in Seafoam, same flirty style with a single button holding things together and pretty polka dots all over. I also changed into the Charity Hair in Red, the perfect choice for my fellow gingers or anyone who is feeling in the mood for an auburn look.
For this look I chose the Peach version of the Ayla top on the left and the Taupe on the right, both paired with the Craving Skirt in Black Tweed. I also added the Sn@tch After Class Pearl Necklace, which has a built in resize script so you can adjust if needed. I love the triple strand choker look with the single dangling strand in the front, it will look so pretty with anything you decide to wear it with.
Maybe you're in the mood to be blonde, well there's a Charity Hair in this fishing set that can make that happen :) I also changed into the Craving Skirt in Black Leather, whose texture really shows off the zipper in the back and will go with everything. The tops are Blue on the left and Pink on the right, and I've added the Sn@tch Omara Oxford Booties in Black. They are unrigged and were easy to adjust to my Slink MID feet.
For my last look of the evening, we get a peek at the Sn@tch Lily Lingerie in White w/Stockings, for which I have used the Omega applier but they also come in system bra top, stockings, and panties with garter. With lace, ruffles, and creative straps, this set is sure to liven up your evening.
I really regret getting my hopes up yesterday, as they wound up crushed when the bird owner (my cousin's wife) decided to keep the cutie after all. I'm not angry, just disappointed in myself for not realizing how much I really truly want another companion in my life, and I am still a tiny bit concerned about their not being able to ever let the bird out of the cage because of their cats. I just have to trust that she knows what's best for her feathered/furry family, and I'll probably reach out to my cousin to offer sympathy for the cockatiel who passed away. There are exciting things on the SL horizon, including the Wash Cart Sale starting very soon, so I'm looking forward to that. Tonight's post is much later than I had hoped, it has just been that kind of an evening...is it ever a good sign when your mom messages you to ask you to call her? I was terrified to be honest, expecting bad news of a grandmotherly sort, but it was actually a dilemma that turned into an offer to take in a bird that needs a new home. It is not entirely up to me, but I am 100% on board, so we'll see what happens. It's my cousin's new wife's parakeet, whose cockatiel best buddy passed away and now the bird's only company is their cats. Not a good mix. He thought of my parents, who have their hands full with 2 rescued cockatiels that do not deal well with change, but since I lost my 19 year old tiel I have been birdless. I was told not to get my hopes up, so I'm mostly just overly emotional and nervous. This doesn't make for swift or sparkling blogging ;) I'm allergic to cats so someday instead of being a crazy cat lady, I'll just become a crazy bird lady ♥. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more Free Dove mini hunt prizes from *Lurve* to share, the ones found at the Lurve mainstore inside chocolate chip cookies. They are free, you just need to click each cookie with your Free Dove tag active. The cookies look really tasty, and provide longer lasting treats than the real things ;) I also have something special to show you from the Whimsical event that starts in just a few hours, lipstick and nail polish from LIVIA. Sometimes we just need a little something to enhance our look, and this shimmery makeup sure does the trick.
First we have the *Lurve* Mostly an Angel Mesh - Violet outfit, a fantastic find inside one of their hidden cookies. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The details really make it, like the fun texture on the tiny tube top and the belt and zipper on our high waist shorts.
These two prizes seem designed to go together, although you can definitely wear either with whatever else you wish since they are both quite versatile. The top is called Lurve Sweet Temptation Top in Khaki, and includes sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, as well as the matching bracelet (bangles) for the left wrist. The pants are the Sweet Temptation Jeans in Khaki, sized for standard, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The cupcake on the shirt is certainly tempting, and the color made me think blueberry or blue raspberry. Yum!
If you need something a little more dressy, be sure to find the cookie that holds this *Lurve* Favorite Striped Mini - Violet. It starts with the top and pants (do we even still call them glitch pants? LOL old school terminology) in system layers plus appliers for Omega, Slink, Lolas, and TMP. The skirt panels come in standard mesh sizes and a set of shorter standard sizes, so you can choose the one that suits your body/shape the best. The pretty bangles on my left wrist are included too, so you have a perfectly matched bracelet to enjoy with this flirty dress.
Next we head to the Whimsical event, which opens on the 18th of August so it should be ready within a few hours of the posting of this blog. LIVIA is offering the lipstick you see in this photo and the nails in the next, all for $189L. These coordinate so beautifully with the lipsticks, and I had a lot of fun with the first three photos but of course it is useful to see these closer views as well. With my favorite colors being pink and purple, these are especially appealing to this glitter lover. I am ready for a hectic but hopefully fun weekend, despite the forecasted stormy weather. My area has been experiencing a lot of flooding lately, including a large mall in a neighboring county last weekend, so I am a little concerned about that with all the rain predicted and have planned routes accordingly.
