Hiya everyone! Tonight I wanted to share some November Hunt prizes with you, since the month is winding down but you deserve a peek at these prizes. The hunt is for $1L yellow stars, and there are hints as well as locations and some preview photos on their website. You will need the site open while hunting since that is how we navigate from store to store, no landmarks in the prize folders. This is not a very large hunt, so you should be able to find all the prizes you wish in a reasonable amount of time :) I also have some manicures to show you tonight that are a lucky chair prize, details at the end.
My first look comes from The Sissy Bar, a casual outfit celebrating Thanksgiving with a jersey style shirt and coordinating pants. Each is included in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. I admit, part of the appeal to me is that I love baseball jersey style tops like this in RL too, I have a few (including a Hogwarts one that never fails to attract comments) that are so comfortable and versatile.
For a dressy look, head to Kat's Clothing Boutique and find that yellow (gold?) star to claim this striking ~KCB~ Spun Gold Halter Dress. I also found the star at Waffles after teleporting to their first floor where the ladies' clothing is located, which holds their *WW* Fall Olive Dress Laces. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies inside, all in a dark mossy green that almost looks like army green. The laces mentioned in its name are on both sleeves as well as the neckline, for extra fun details.
In case you haven't heard, the Kosmetik store will be closing on December 1st (unfortunately due to illness of the owner) and their group is now free to join. There are both public and VIP-only midnight manias and lucky chairs, and my nails tonight are one of the many prizes inside the lucky chairs. They are from the Mandala Gold-ish Fatpack, which includes HUDs for Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista hands. Each holds 5 designs to choose from, including a solid burnished gold and some creative designs in black on the golden background. Be sure to visit before the store closes, and click those boards while checking the lucky chairs :) There is a box of 36 free gifts that is only available until midnight SL time tonight, so just a couple more hours which is why I am not showing you any of those with such short notice. There will be lots of sales and gifts before the store closes though, so keep an eye on those group notices! Their merchandise includes not only nails but such makeup as eyeshadow and lipstick, and even eyes themselves.
It was a pretty good day here, with an exciting hockey game as the highlight of the evening. Tomorrow I head to my parents' for dinner as I do nearly every Friday, but this time I'm going over early to help with some Thanksgiving prep cooking, things that can be frozen ahead of time. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several more Womenstuff Hunt prizes to share with you, 3 of which can be found at the same location. The prizes are all either $0L or $1L and hiding inside red t-shirts with green and brown stripes for this round, so be sure to follow the hints on the website to find the correct round's prize. The prior ones are either solid red or red/white, so it is easy to tell the difference, and if you find an older one that you don't already have you can still pick it up if you choose as an added bonus :) The hunt runs until the end of the month, so about a week and a half remain for you to find all these wonderful prizes. My song-inspired title came about while listening to the Rod Stewart version of the Isley Brothers (and Supremes and a few other talented artists over the years) song, and I hadn't heard it for so long that it made me smile.
For my first look, I have one of the three $1L hunt prizes from ROA, all of which have their own hints on the website to assist you in finding them. This is ROA MICELLE DRESS, a sleek mini in a vibrant shade of deep pink with playful cutout in the back. It includes sizes for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink, Legacy, TMP, and Tonic Curvy mesh bodies.
Next we see the ROA BERRIE DRESS, an airy little slip dress in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. It has a beautiful suede-like texture in that cinnamon shade of brown, very chic for fall.
The third of our trio of ROA dollarbie gifts is their LISSETTE DRESS, a mini with detached sleeves that is gathered and tied at each hip. I combined two prizes from different stores for this look, and I think it turned out to be a very cute casual outfit :) The top is the $1L prize from No Cabide called Mya Sweater, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a HUD that offers 6 fun choices. The one on the left says "5% Unicorn, 95% Ninja" above and below the panda with rainbow unicorn horn, so funny! As for the pants, they are the Still Got It Jeans [Fuchsia] from No Nuts and are a free hunt gift. I love the distressed touches and the tiny slits at each ankle, because details like that always catch my attention.
For my final look this evening, I kept the No Nuts jeans on and added the $1L prize from WinTeRwooD Designs called .Amber Cropped Sweater. It is such a flattering style with those extra long sleeves and mock turtleneck, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is also a HUD included with 15 color choices, two of which I am enjoying above. There is bound to be an option that looks perfect with your favorite pants or skirt, with all of those great possibilities.
Today was mostly about planning for next week, so not exactly an exciting day but still fairly positive. My weekend is about to become busier because of it, but nothing like the following long weekend with the actual holiday ;) It will be good things though, well worth the planning stress. The hunt's website will guide you with hints and landmarks, but there are also landmarks included in each prize's folder that are generally accurate unless a store suddenly moves or drops out. For a hunt this size (130+ stores!) it is remarkably well organized, and something I look forward to each round.
My first look this evening is an elegant free gift from ~EccentriciXi~ which is simply named after our hunt. The dress comes in a standard medium and a fitmesh medium, plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There is also a HUD provided with 8 color choices, all with that black overlay that is so pretty.
Wicked Inc has a $1L prize for this hunt called Live Fast Die Pretty, and well we are certainly living up to the pretty part :) It starts with the romper, emblazoned with a clever logo on the back, in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Then it continues with glamour shades, a lipstick themed handbag, and lipstick heels in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high versions. I especially enjoy the fact that the romper's color could be classified as a lipstick red.
Changed Seasons has a beautiful strapless dress called Farrah tucked into their hidden t-shirt, and it's a steal for only a single linden. The prize includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing, all in a vibrant teal color with black midriff etched in a floral design.
You know how much I love versatility, so of course this prize was well worth the $1L. It can be found at Pandora's Box, and is their Olivia Dress. The dress is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing, with a dress HUD of 4 colors and a skirt HUD with 2 choices. So you can use both HUDs to mix and match things a bit, since all the dress colors look stunning with either the white lace or the golden lace overlay. I believe there is some materials enabled texturing happening with the sleek base dress too :)
My final look of the evening is the free treat from Roped Passions, a playful romper called (RP) Ginger Vintage Suspender Outfit. The colors are fantastic for fall, and I am fond of plaid this time of year.
My RL day was not very exciting, and the evening involved watching a frustrating hockey game, so I think later I will have to find somewhere extra peaceful and soothing to visit in SL. Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to switch things up, so I headed to the Wonderland Beach for their Golden Autumn Fair which also features a treasure hunt. You can find the treasures for free by clicking the googly-eyed pumpkins (flat prim) which are mostly in plain sight but a few are hidden behind things. I suggest you check out each stall or cart carefully :) There are small buildings around the outer walkway, and lots of carts in the middle area that also have discounted offerings and some gifts too. One of the gifts was in a rounded pumpkin with a black ribbon on it, naturally I can no longer recall whose, but I tend to hover over everything and read hovertext when I am on a treasure hunt which explains how I stumbled across that goodie.
First we see the Lilleth Mills gift called LM ZORA Mini, in a rich suede texture of caramel brown. The gift includes sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.
Mara's Mysteries has multiple displays at the Golden Autumn Fair, and they have hidden a pumpkin at each with a present for you :) The dress on the left is their Lianne Halloween Spiders Dress, which comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The dresses are both short and flirty, so even with their differences I am glad to have found both. I really like the pattern of vibrant leaves falling and floating in a breeze!

Next we have the free prize from Prism, their Daisy Dress by Jezzixa Fall Flowers. It is provided in 5 classic sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes, so it should be able to fit many classic avatar shapes and mesh bodies. The fun pattern has not only flowers, but acorns and leaves among the intriguing foliage.
There is something so appealing about the combination of red and black, like this beautiful gift from I.M.C. named WHunt Nov 19. Like most days lately, mine had plenty of ups and downs...an "up" would be a nice dinner at my parents' with some cute birdie antics, and a "down" would be the hockey game that my team lost. They have another chance tomorrow, of course that's with no rest and travel time between back to back games, but I never stop believing in them :) Any sports fan knows that feeling as a blessing and a curse I guess.
