Hiya everyone! Tonight our journey through the Winter Shop and Hop event leads us to the Tinseled Sim, one of their 6 beautiful sims packed with 120 designers' displays. Each of these hold discounted selections and most have a gift for all visitors to enjoy, so be sure to look carefully while you are shopping :) All will be available until the 6th of January, so you still have time to visit and save some lindens while picking up gifts for others and yourself.
I even found a festive wallpaper for one of the rooms in my skybox to fully immerse myself in the seasonal spirit today :) This cozy dress is the gift from Salt & Pepper called S&P Vivian Dress. Its sleeves are separate from the dress (so you can wear with or without) and each are provided in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. There is also a HUD as you can guess, offering 16 colors each for the dress, sleeves, and string of the belt where it ties in front. I went a little Christmas themed on the right above, just for giggles, but you can have a lot of fun with this gift for sure.
Kaithleen's gift for us is the alluring Joyful Dress - Rose. It has two versions, solid and sheer, each of which come in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 16 color choices for the belt/bow, and 4 metal options for the delicate chain that serves as our halter strap. If you look really closely, you can notice the sheerness of the dress on the right, just the outline of my body is visible through the fabric, so it isn't strongly see-through but just has a hint of transparency.
This charming look is the Valentina E. gift for Shop and Hop, their Gia Dress Robin. It comes in a single Maitreya mesh body size, in vivid teal with very pretty crisscrossed straps in the back. I think this would be an ideal choice for an evening at a club, don't you?
Both of these tops made me think "ooh cute!" in different ways, and I loved them both so much I decided I must share both :) On the left I am enjoying the gift from ALTAIR* which is their dino party shirt (Maitreya), and our little buddy is wearing a Santa hat while dancing among presents, rainbows, candy canes, wrapped presents and more. The playful top on the right is the Tachinni - Bianca Top - 2019 S&H Gift. With its black and red plaid, it has a touch of country charm that I really appreciate. This gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya. My jeans in this photo are my favorite marketplace freebie from Delizio, seen here in white but the gift is a fatpack of several colors in system layers, Omega appliers, and Maitreya appliers.
I decided to go formal for the final look of the evening, thanks to our gift from Baiastice. It is a duo of gowns, their Mirla Glitter Dress - Red and Gold, each of which are provided in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. I do enjoy the long style having a flared skirt that allows for movement, and how it falls in gentle pleats.
My day mostly involved preparation for the weekend and then the upcoming holidays, so even without leaving the house it got a bit zany ;) Tomorrow is my usual Saturday farmers market, and then tomorrow evening I will not be blogging because instead I will be doing a special Sunday morning Advent calendar post one more time before they wind down for the year. My post will just be a few hours later than usual, and will give you the remainder of Sunday to grab those treats. I always enjoy showing those to you, although I wish my schedule made it a bit easier to do it more often this month. Hiya everyone! Tonight we are back at the Winter Shop and Hop event, this time with gifts from the Halcyon sim. That is one of their 6 sims with a total of 120 designers offering discounted selections for your bargain-hunting pleasure. In addition there are gifts at nearly all of the displays, so be sure to keep a look out for those :) The event runs until the 6th of January, so no need to worry if the holidays still have you super busy for now.
First we have 2 of the very generous 3 gifts from Ella, so please be sure to click all 3 boxes. On the left I am wearing their Duone in Black, whose top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, and Maitreya sizes. The bare shouldered top and floral trim on the skirt are such pretty touches. The look on the right is the ella Rouxe in Red, which has the appearance of two pieces but they are connected and worn as one, in the same sizes as the Duone set. The bright color is very fitting for the holiday, but the style lends itself to year round wear, so you can enjoy this whenever you prefer.
The third Ella gift I am delighted to show you is their Roxy // Silver, which possibly due to my windlight settings is appearing more of a gold on my viewer. Believe me, it is striking no matter what color it appears! The design is a very revealing one, with cups that look like gold leaf attached to a skirt that is basically front and back panels held together by a few straps on each side. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing. It made me chuckle thinking of looking like a chocolate holiday coin, waiting to be unwrapped!
The next gift comes from the [Lomomo] display, and is their Oriane Dress. It comes in a Maitreya rigged size in deep green, trimmed with gold and awash in playful ruffles. The double breasted style means two rows of pretty buttons down the front, and the full skirt accentuates those ruffles nicely.
If you are looking for a flirty top and are fond of the color blue (as I am), stop by the Masoom setup and give their gift box a click to claim their Emilia Top - Royal. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies, and the long sleeves make for a fun contrast to the cropped length and open laced neckline. Fortunately navy goes well with many other colors, so I was happy to wear it with both versions of our Snowflake Leggings gift from Mossu. For my final look of the evening, I paired two more gifts found on the Halcyon sim. The top is from Gaia and called Catty Neck Top GIFT, provided in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for the neck patch, with several wording choices (some NSFW) in black or white, as well as the option to turn it off and wear with a solid red band. The pants are from Just BECAUSE and are their Quincy Leggings - Snowflake Pattern. These include sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Physique, Legacy, and Maitreya, so a nice selection of popular mesh bodies. The waistline is just slightly beneath the navel, so neither overly high nor overly low which suits this weather perfectly.
It was a busy day and not particularly fun, especially the podiatrist appointment where I had 2 ingrown toenails dug out of my poor neuropathy-riddled toes. No wonder I am not into feet, LOL! At least the evening improved with an exciting hockey game, so I am in a decent mood for being so achy. I am still struggling to figure out my schedule for the next few days, so for now I will just say that my next post should be around this time tomorrow evening but beyond that is still in the air. Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Gleaming sim, one of the 6 that are part of the Winter Shop and Hop event. There are a total of 120 designers taking part, all with discounted offers to treat yourself or give to a friend. Most of them are also offering gifts, primarily inside blue gift boxes with white lids that can be clicked to give a free goodie. They include clothing, accessories, and home decor among the many possibilities, and are a great way for these designers to wish us all happy holidays.
My first look features two gifts, starting with the Glitters Top from EVIE. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Legacy bodies, with a HUD that lets you tint the glitter to any color you wish. In the inset you can see a closer view of the fine glitter with a glimpse of the zipper in the back of the shirt. As for the pants, they are the Priya and Pierce Leggings - Reindeer Gift from RIOT. There are mens sizes included along with Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing for the ladies, all with that fun seasonal print. Funny story, Xan and I went to a store last night to look at cute animals (Jian) and there was another shopper wearing the same outfit, both the top and pants :) It made me chuckle as I was not expecting it, and when I pointed it out Xan said they must have read my blog. I replied no, I hadn't blogged it yet, so we decided that she must just have good taste.
I kept the RIOT leggings gift on for this look, but changed into the gift from PinkRayne called Hanne Jumper - Winter Shop & Hop Exclusive Gift. This laced up sweater is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, in a deep mossy green shade.
L&B Swear (of Lapointe & Bastchild) are offering two gifts for the ladies to enjoy, a pair of mini dresses whose colors can be seasonal but certainly aren't limited to December. On the left is the Zoe Dress in Green, while on the right it looks just as pretty in Red. Each includes Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing for those popular mesh bodies. Next we see the gift that Seniha is offering at Shop and Hop, their Noah Dress which has a bare midriff, tartan skirt, and bold bow on the back of the waist. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, and Hourglass bodies. This style and color combination are timeless and not specifically for the festive season.
My final look of the evening is a closer view of the nail polish I've been enjoying in all of these photos, the gift from {ZOZ} called Early Snow Gift Polish. There are HUDs included for Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and the store's own ZOZ Bento nails, each with a beautiful array of 12 colors to choose from. The color palette is accented with splashes of snow and a single very clear snowflake that really brings out the frosty goodness. I need someone to do this manicure for me in RL for next Tuesday ;) We do have a long winter ahead of us, so these can be a part of your wardrobe for some time to come.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a sampling of another Winter Shop and Hop sim's treats for you, the Gilded sim. This event is extraordinary, with 120 vendors filling 6 sims with discounted offers for you to celebrate the holidays. Just about all of them have free gifts in blue gift boxes with white lids, so be sure to give each of those a click while you are browsing these displays. Need some gifts for next week? Two tops to start the evening, on the left you see the evani. ANITA sweater [GIFT] found on the Gilded sim. It comes in a Maitreya rigged size and includes a HUD that lets you tint and show/hide the lace trim as well as turn the alpha mask off and on. On the right I am sporting the Rebel Gal gift called Fluffy Fox Sweater - Print 3. This comfy top is provided in Freya, Isis, and Maitreya sizes, with trees and flowers (poinsettias?) knit into its pattern. With both of these I am wearing the same Delizio jeans in white that I wore yesterday, a marketplace gift with plenty of colors in system layers, Maitreya and Omega appliers.
Don't let the chilly weather make you bundle up if you have a party or event to attend this season; instead slip into this gorgeous gift from Dead Dollz and create some heat! Their flirty Bebe Dress - Petroleum is sized for the Maitreya body and has an asymmetrical hem with slit on the right thigh, deep neckline and straps down and across the back. The gems you see dusted across it can be adjusted with the included HUD which offers 4 colors and some other settings you can experiment with.
This versatile look is our gift from Candy Kitten called Forever Yours, a single piece with fun layered appearance. It comes in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, with a HUD offering 6 patterns for the dress, 5 color choices for the laces, 5 for the bra, 2 for the lace on the bra, and 2 for the trim. The best thing to do is start clicking until you come up with a combo you enjoy, then adjust as needed ;) Okay, I confess that is what I did.
RAMA went all out this season with their gift for us, their Seymour Sequin Dress FATPACK. It consists of Maitreya and Slink Physique sizes each in 14 different mainly gem-themed colors, an impressive array to be sure. They are champagne (seen on the right above), diamond, emerald, gold, jade, jet, onyx, peridot (left), rose quartz, ruby, sapphire, silver, tanzanite, and topaz. Whew! It reminded me of a friend who dated her now-husband for 7 years before they married, and for every occasion he bought her jewelry with a different gemstone so she had a wild collection of earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, I think even an anklet or two. He finished with the diamond engagement ring. Just think, in SL we can accomplish all that with a HUD, hehe.
Speaking of the versatility of HUDs, this fantastic set is the Pretty Deceased gift called Scherry Outfit. It is comprised of the fur, thong, bra in 3 patterns, and skirt in the same 3 patterns (foxy, snowy, and tartan) each in Maitreya and Legacy sizes. The HUDs are so impressive, each with plenty of features...the fur HUD has 6 color choices for the pearls and you can adjust the glow, while the thong HUD (labeled top HUD) has 6 colors to choose from. The skirt's HUD has 5 sizes and 5 colors for the puff dangling from the chain belt, 9 tag quotes plus on/off for the tag, an on/off for each of the 2 chains (labeled A and B) and 6 chain metals for each individually. Get creative and have fun with this one, these HUDs will let you customize this look to suit your personal tastes.
I am still emotionally overwhelmed from the hockey game I watched, not just because we won but because so much was done to honor and support our player who is facing a cancer battle. It was our first home game since his diagnosis, so his fans got to show him how much we care and are behind him. My favorite player was back from his concussion and helped lift the team's spirits, as he is an energetic playmaker, and it just felt good to see them looking out for each other. Meanwhile I am working on plans for the next week or so, and it is a challenge but will be worth the effort. How does the time fly by so quickly this time of year? Please take time whenever you can to indulge in some self-care, remember you can't help anyone else have a good time if you are overly stressed. Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Winter Shop and Hop event, a 6 sim extravaganza brought to us by Linden Labs and featuring 120 designers. There are discounted items at every display, as well as free gifts for all visitors to treat ourselves while we shop for friends and family. Most of those are inside blue boxes with white lids and tied with ribbons, that you can just give a quick click to claim. I do think this season brings out the best in many people, so put on your lowest complexity body and outfit (think of the lag!) or just a full body alpha to be invisible, and head on over! All of tonight's gifts came from the Aurelian sim, as I find it best to focus on one sim at a time while sharing these with you.
First we see the gift from Eliavah which is their Amaranthine Blouse [Lunar 2k19]. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, all with bare shoulders and delicate ruffles on every edge. The deep red color is highlighted by a golden floral pattern that is a fun choice for the season. I wore it with my Delizio jeans in white, which you can find on the marketplace for free as a fatpack of colors with system layers plus Omega and Maitreya appliers all included.
I love our gift from Neve, which is their festive '19 sweater and skirt. There are HUDs for each piece with 4 color choices, plus 4 metals on the skirt HUD for the rivets around the lacing. They fit Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and manage to combine flirty with cozy for a big wintry thumbs up from me :)
This gorgeous dress could easily be the highlight of your holiday wardrobe if you are as drawn to the vivid color as I am. It is our gift from toksik called Mellow Dress (Fucshia), included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya. The dress has a deep V neckline and wrapped skirt with long sash down the left side, which I imagine would be soft and slightly ticklish.
Next we see the versatile gift from -Pixicat- called Evening Dress (Festive). The dress and the fur each come in Freya, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya sizing, which means you can easily wear this dress with or without the fluffy trim to change up the look. Just think, Valentine's Day is less than 2 months away, so you could slip into the satiny dress without the fur, and add some jewelry with hearts or red gemstones. Practicality can be pretty!

I promise yours will be fine, just don't hold them up to your face like this I suppose ;) I really like the shiny chrome appearance of the various colors, and feel like the hues they chose remind me of Christmas lights or glass ornaments.
I will most likely be showing you gifts from another of the 6 sims tomorrow evening, after watching what might be a frustrating hockey game. Today I was mostly focused on holiday preparations and communicating with those involved, nothing too exciting but helpful so no complaints here. The weather here is chilly and rainy, but that will change to freezing rain and bad travel conditions in the morning. I am not planning on going anywhere until Thursday so I am safe, but plenty of people will have to be extra cautious. Hiya everyone! Today I have several Advent calendar gifts to share, all of which need a free group tag or no tag at all to claim for free. There are lists of Advent calendars on FabFree and TeleportHub just to name a couple of sources, and be sure to peek down further for the 12 days rather than full month as most of those have now started too. I am so grateful for the many designers who help make our holiday season even more special, and that inspires me to occasionally do a morning post instead of late evening so you have plenty of time to pick up these daily gifts.
Today's gifts included a lot of tops, so I was pleased to slide into my Delizio blue jeans (one of several colors in system layers, Maitreya appliers, & Omega appliers) found for free on the marketplace, to show off these goodies without going bottomless ;) This first gift is from Sexy Princess and is their Amaya Sweater. It comes in a fitmesh version along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, all with a HUD that offers 6 solid color choices. I am a big fan of cropped sweaters, and the short sleeves balance it nicely. I had mentioned The Sissy Bar having an Advent calendar in another post while I was showing you a hunt prize of theirs, well today it is a pleasure to show you one of their Advent treats. This is their (TSB) Cropped Jumper - Christmas 3, in a goldenrod shade of yellow with beautiful ornaments tied with ribbon on the front. One final look of the day, we see the Moonstar gift for the 15th which is called Red Lace Tunic and Jumpsuit. The jumpsuit comes in system (BOM) layers as well as an Omega applier, while our mesh tunic is provided in standard mesh sizes along with a fitted version and Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body fits. We want a loose, flowy fit for the tunic so it drapes delicately in all the right places without cutting into our body anywhere.
Whew, this weekend has been interesting to say the least! Last night my internet connection started acting funny so I crashed out of SL several times before it finally stopped letting me back in at all. I was afraid of crashing again today when I visited, but it seemed much better. The hockey game last night was a real gut punch, as they usually interview a handful of players before the game or at intermissions but this time every question was "how do you feel about your teammate's cancer diagnosis?" UGH! Let these poor guys focus on the game they were busy losing (yep, another slap in the face is that we lost) and stop distracting them by getting them upset. Sorry not sorry, I am protective of young men who are dealing with a lot of pressure and adversity. Two more players were injured during the game, so we now have 7 on the roster who are unable to play. Aside from the one with cancer, we have a top scorer with a concussion, another with migraine disorder who hasn't played a single game this season yet, a broken finger who should be back soon, knee surgery out for the season I believe, and 2 "undisclosed injuries" from the Saturday game. *facepalm* Get the feeling we need bubble wrap suits and Wolverine's healing abilities?
I will be switching back to evening posts tonight, so the next one should be in about 18 hours or so. I have no idea what the week will hold, thanks to random things that need to be done before the holiday in a week and a half, but I know Thursday is an appointment that will guarantee no morning Advent blogging. I apologize if I have sounded at all cranky, I haven't been feeling well the past couple of days but am trying to cheer myself with Christmas songs and am currently singing along to Carly Rae Jepsen's version of Last Christmas on a sounds of the season station. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more treats to share from the FaMESHed event and its December round. There are many gifts for the free FaMESHed group, just have your tag active and click the wrapped presents you see at the vendor displays. The event is open until the 27th of the month, so just after Christmas, giving you time to visit and enjoy while doing a little holiday shopping. Don't forget to treat yourself, you deserve it!
First we have a generous gift from RIOT which includes sweaters for the ladies and the gents :) This is their Jane Sweater Gift, whose red and green versions are each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. The left shoulder is cut out to show a strap emblazoned with the store's name, so you will always remember who to thank for this cozy gift.
Another group gift that looks great with my Delizio jeans (marketplace, several colors, system layers plus Omega/Maitreya appliers) is the !APHORISM! Deanna Top - Lilac Ltd Ed. This flirty style has a sweetheart neckline leading up to a small collar in the back, and a lush layer of beaded fringe. There is also a HUD that lets you hide the beads or fringe (hiding the fringe also hides the beads automatically) with 4 colors each for beads 1, beads 2, and the fringe. This will make a lot more sense when you have the shirt and the HUD on ;) The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies.
There are two gifts featured in this photo, starting with the Giz Seorn cropped sweater gift. It has a very pretty mix of colors, and is provided in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. It looks really cute with the gift from Bombshell called Adriana Shorts Red. They include sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya, with a HUD for the zippers in front to choose from silver or gold. The gold makes them look more Christmassy in my humble opinion, although I usually lean towards silvery tones for jewelry so both choices are winners.

For my final look of the night, I am wrapping things up with the sexy group gift from Belle Epoque called Scarlett. The bra and panties are provided in a Maitreya size, in green trimmed with red and decorated with tiny bows. I also chose the Laurel Collection from Cae to accessorize with. That includes the earrings, necklace, and barrettes I am wearing, which have built in resize scripts on touch and a HUD with 6 metals to choose from for each separately. The seasonal wreaths are lovely, and with just enough color to coordinate beautifully with your favorite festive outfits. Just think, if these designers are offering all these amazing treats as free gifts, wait until you see their selections for sale!
I must admit to being very distracted tonight after some bad news about a very talented member of my favorite hockey team. He was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, and will be missing the rest of the season to receive treatment. He is just 23 years old, and it is heartbreaking for his fans to know that he is facing such a huge challenge. Honestly I do think he will beat it and be able to play again someday, based on being young and healthy, and having top notch cancer treatments available in the area. They keep posting pictures of him in the purple practice jersey he wore for Hockey Fights Cancer night recently, and it's making me teary every time I see it. We have games tomorrow and Sunday, and I'm just not emotionally prepared.
My plans for this weekend are to post Sunday morning rather than Saturday night, so I can share some more wonderful Advent calendar gifts with everyone, and since my Saturdays are always busy it will be nice to have the evening off :) Then I think I will be returning to evenings for Monday, but I will decide before my next post so I can have a definite answer then.
