FWRD Event GIfts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am so glad I visited the FWRD Event, who are celebrating their 1st anniversary with lots of group gifts for all. There are a ton of male gifts here too, so please pass this info along to your favorite guys who probably have a much harder time than the ladies in finding free gifts. I'd describe the style as generally urban casual, the kind of fashions you'd wear to a club or hanging out with friends that will definitely earn some compliments :) A couple of the gifts made me laugh out loud, and I'm sure you can guess which of these did it...

For my first look tonight, I'm feeling flirty in our .Q. Riveting -FATPACK- gift from QUEENZ. I've featured this brand on my blog before and you know I'm a fan, understandably so! This strappy dress with playful cutouts is provided in Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Muneca, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, plus a HUD with 11 textures. A couple are patterns like on the left above, with several different solid colors to choose from as well.

Did you guess that this is the one that got me giggling? :) Love them or not, Labubus are everywhere, and these two gifts simply begged to be shared together. The .:July:. Labubu Kini : FP is a skimpy string suit that is one piece (not BIkini as in two) that will fit Kupra, Legacy, Muneca, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers 10 colors, with the leopard print being a real standout for me, mostly solids but all adorned with a few grinning faces. There's one on the back too, lol, which is just as daring as the front view. In my hand I am holding the Olympus - Labuba Pink on Hand gift, which we can just right click and add to our outfit and it automatically holds in that position. I haven't shown these to Xan yet, but we both saw the South Park about these so I'm sure he'll have some clever comments ;) I solemnly swear I am not trying to summon anything, especially not to the delicate areas their faces are located on my swimsuit.

If you prefer your swimsuits to be two pieces, our Ooze "Body Microkini" in Exclusives gift has got you covered, at least the essential areas. Our top and bottom are each provided in exclusives 1 and 2, all in sizing for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Muneca, and Reborn mesh bodies. Yes, the rear is a thong, but I stuck to front views so you could see more of the fabric in its wonderful textures that are only found here at the event.

Next I changed into the JACOBS - Natalie Set . Megapack gift, and just wait till you see all it has to offer! One of the packages inside contains the long sleeve crop top in Kupra, Legacy, Muneca, Reborn, and Waifu sizes, with a HUD that lets us pick from 32 textures. The denim jeans come in dried, grungy, and a fatpack version (the only one that works with the HUD) all in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Muneca, and Reborn bodies. That HUD has 17 choices for the fatpack pairs of jeans, so versatile! Even our shoes have HUDs, one for each so you can mix and match if you wish. These ugg mid high platform boots are unrigged, so you can adjust them. I find it easier usually to just alpha out my feet with many boots, but it's all up to you how you prefer to wear them.

One last look of the night, we've got the CYN x CITY:: WhOopTY DOo Tee Gift in both colors. There are noir and snow versions, both of which are provided in Kupra, Legacy, Muneca, Reborn, and Waifu sizing. They are identified by initials actually, so I'm not 100% sure on those sizes...one is labeled P and I think it is Peach. I don't own any of those bodies other than Legacy, so it is harder for me to guess. I love having both colors to choose from, and I do say this phrase occasionally with the deepest sarcasm ;) I thought it earlier as a matter of fact.

I am running so far behind tonight, but I have a good reason - the DLC (downloadable content) addition to Hello Kitty Island Adventure ♥. It is really fun and I think they did a great job making it feel unique while still fitting in with the main world of the game. I was on the phone with a friend who was also playing, and she and her husband were offering advice while laughing at my reactions to various things in the game :) I am eager to get this posted so I am wrapping this up with wishes for a beautiful day for all, and many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Still Wild and Free

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are enjoying some more wilderness and animalistic adventures with the CMH Wild & Free 3 Hunt. The $1L prizes and exclusive offers for $25L - $50L are all stupendous, as our designers really seem to outdo themselves each new round of Cheeky Monkey Hunts events :) All of these are hiding in images of a lion family, and you can use the hunt website as your guide for landmarks, hints, prices, and previews of the treats available.

Let's start the evening with a pair of exclusive offers, shall we? The ~Sassy!~ Untamed dress - leopard and its zebra sister are $25L each, so please follow both hints to track down each beauty. These strapless dresses include sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The fishnet inset around the lower waist area is such a fun touch, and of course I love the cutout midriff and tied side opening on the skirt.

I'm such a fan of leopard print, so you know the Pynkie - PumaDuo prize made me feel like doing little grabby hands at my screen ;) Big cats have some fantastic markings, and mimicking them on fashions is a time honored tradition. These rompers are system/BOM layers, so any compatible mesh body can wear them as well as classic avatars. The brown and teal versions are each provided, with top and bottom separate, so you could even mix these with other wardrobe staples to create an entirely new look if you wish. It was a quiet day, and yet I feel fairly tired even without doing much of anything. Luck at Kavini

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post might have you searching for a lucky charm to help you win these fantastic prizes. There are 6 lucky boards at Kavini for their group members, and each have 2 different outfits to win so you can really boost your wardrobe with these goodies. Good news - their group is free to join so these treats won't cost you a thing, and even more good news - the boards change every minute so you can hang out for a relatively brief time and still win several prizes. My first look of the evening is a fun casual one, which is my favorite style for running around the grid looking for bargains :) Our Kavini (Chloe) Sports Outfit Fat Pack prize includes the tank top and pants in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, along with a HUD offering 9 color choices. Two have camo print, and they are all trimmed in black for a stunning contrast.

I'm feeling chic and flirty with our Kavini (Scarlet) Plunge Dress prize :) The dress actually has a double plunge if you count front and back, and the sleeves are separate so the dress can be worn alone if you prefer. Both our dress and arms will fit Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 9 colors that tint the entire ensemble at once. 

Next we take a peek at the tantalizing Kavini (Heather) Full Teddy FatPack. This prize includes our teddy, neck, and boots, all in sizing for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. The HUD has 4 color choices for the teddy/neck, and we can change those from leather to latex with a quick click. There are also options to hide or show the lace on the top and/or the sides of the bodysuit, as I've done to the sides on the right above. I love the way the boots have a little panel of lace to match the teddy, very fun! 

Are you getting the vibe that our designer is really big on thigh-high boots? They really do complement these looks, like with our Kavini (Sweethearts) Fatpack Outfit. Included you'll find the tank top, hot pants in open and closed versions (referring to the front, fly) and the boots, all in sizing for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Let's not forget the handy HUD, which has 3 color options each adjustable as leather, latex, or lace, although I found that the boots stick with whichever texture (leather or latex) you chose last before trying the lace. The top says "Sweethearts" beneath a red heart, and that stylized heart appears on the back of the shorts and on the calves of our boots as well. 

The lace of the evening's final look is just sheer enough that I had to employ some "modesty flowers" which are added in Photoshop so not in SL at all, let alone on your actual prize here. Kavini (Sarah) Lace Bodysuit is a showstopper of a look, pairing the bodysuit and stockings in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. It also has a HUD so we can select from 9 different colors, all of which make this outfit look hot enough to need a Scoville rating ;) 

Well, my anxiety did not enjoy my outing at all this evening, so I am still a bit shaky and frazzled. I did get tasty food that I enjoyed a small portion of, and I'm trying to focus on the positives rather than how much I despise being in the car at all.  Hiya everyone! Tonight feels like a good time to check out more SWANK Event group gifts from their 11th anniversary round as we ease into the new week. The gifts can be found by clicking the clear globes with gold Swank logo and number 11 at many of the displays on both floors of this massive event :) Just be sure to have their free group tag active, and you too will feel like you've been showered with several holidays' worth of treats. Since some brands have more than one setup at the event, they might put a gift at only one of them, or put out multiple gifts so you'll see some brand names more than once while you unpack it all. My first look of the evening is our [C.YFashion]*MEL*DRESS GIFT GROUP, a short mini dress that is not short on sex appeal ;) There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD that lets us pick from 6 colors for the main fabric. The wide netting stays neutral black, which looks amazing with any hue you pick :)

I'm feeling groovy in our [If design] Perla gift here, because it's hard not to feel that way when sporting tie dye. The daring dress and tied panties are provided in sizing for Legacy, Legacy Boobs, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers a whopping 56 textures for each piece, plus the ability to tint the chosen texture so the possibilities are virtually endless. There are plenty of solid colors too, so if the patterns here aren't your thing, you certainly have other choices that should appeal to you.

The Dark Angel : Kara Set Blue gift can be worn two ways, and looks fantastic either way. It consists of a cardigan and strapless dress, in Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. I love the way the paler blue strings tying our cardigan closed match the one beneath the bust perfectly, so we are very nicely coordinated in this outfit. I find it very timely for the upcoming cooler weather too, having the option to add the warmth of the cardigan.

Next I slipped into our flirty KiraStyle // TOP & SKIRT 12 gift, whose top and skirt are each designed for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. The HUD lets us choose from 40 textures each for top and skirt, then 20 colors apiece for the edges/bows of each piece. The bared midriff seemed like a perfect excuse to share another gift, the Malandra - Connie BAD GIRL - BODY TATTOO. It is provided as a BOM layer, and I had to giggle because the crown at the end of the text made me wonder if we are now officially the queen of bad girls for wearing it? I'm usually a good girl type, but SL tends to bring out a different side in me sometimes so I'll wear this crown.

For my final look, I am wearing the versatile Nala Design - Alex Top paired with their Alex Skirt. These are separate gifts, so let's start with (from) the top. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Prima Busty, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 8 solid colors and 9 sheer ones. The sheer is that lacy wisp on the right above, and you can guess why I had to make that the rear view ;) Our skirt comes in a similar set of sizes (not quite identical though) of Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Peach, Reborn, and Star bodies, plus a HUD with 12 color options. The pleats add visual interest, and the brief hemline is as flirty as the crossed top.

It was a decent day, with a productive support group session (from the anxiety center my therapist works for) and getting things planned for the upcoming week. My outing tomorrow is going to be picking up dinner at a 50s themed place about 20-25 minutes away, to keep me expanding the limits of how far I'm comfortable going. Love The Dragon Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're hunting dragons, not in a violent way but for the Love The Dragon Hunt 6 :) These dragons are cute green plushies, and hold wonderful prizes for just $3L apiece. We aren't slaying them, just giving them a tickle (and a few lindens) to be rewarded with the prize they are hiding. Dragons are so intriguing, with mythology from various cultures either seeing them as good or evil, and I prefer to think of them as benevolent with perhaps a tricky side. We've all got that one friend who is a smart-aleck at heart who busts out with unexpected wisdom at times, that's my head canon about dragons ♥. These will be available to find in participating stores until the end of the month.

My first look is our stunning The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. DREAM DRAGON Tee prize. I know I just shared some goodies from them in my last post, lol, but honestly this prize is the one that inspired me to explore the rest of the hunt. I really like how the design wraps around the side, as this serpentine dragon surrounded by blossoms is draped in front of the moon. There are standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. 

If you love the idea of a dragon themed shirt but were thinking something a bit darker, how about our LGW * B&WBH24 Pack * prize from Let's Get Weird? This prize includes men's and women's versions, with female sizing for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, male body sizes for Aesthetic, Gianni, Jake, Kario, and Legacy. The men's version is longer with smooth edging, whereas the feminine style is cropped with intricately torn edges that I adore. 

Psyche's Pstyles knocked my socks off with their Dragon's Luck Dress prize, although I'm not surprised because I am a big fan of theirs in general. This sleeveless tube dress hugs our curves in sizes for eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies as well as a standard fitted version. The bold artwork reminds me of the Chinese dragons you'll see at Lunar New Year parades, with several people dancing in the long costumes.

Next we visit Nut & Squirrel (formerly Telsiope's Couture) to claim their lovely Hecate dress. It is crafted with a halter neckline and fun cutouts on the bodice, a sheer section beneath the bust, and a short skirt that shimmers in satin. There are Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with a HUD that offers 16 colors for us to select from. The style is both chic and flirty, which I definitely appreciate.

My final look of the evening was probably the most challenging for me to find, as this little dragon really blends into his surroundings. The Violet Skies - Josie Green Dress was absolutely worth the extra effort as you can see, thanks to the playful opening that frames our cleavage, above fun fringe and a bold link to hold top and skirt together. The dress and panty are provided in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Muneca, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm glad there are panties to match, so my dreams of wearing this dancing (shake that fringe!) won't cause a wardrobe malfunction ;)

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was fairly busy, and I've got a couple more hectic days ahead but not in a bad way. The farmers market visit on Saturday was nice, but getting there and home was rough (stupid anxiety) so I spent some time explaining that in therapy earlier. At least I had new sunscreen to wear that wasn't expired :) Tomorrow is a group support meeting, then Tuesday I'm headed somewhere yet to be determined. I'd really like to find time to take care of my nails, as I haven't polished them for over 2 years and they could use some shaping too. I'm a rounded girlie, not quite almond because those seem too pointy for me, but squares are not flattering for my hands. FabFree Back To Cool

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some terrific hunt prizes from the annual FabFree Back To Cool Hunt, designed to help us have the perfect wardrobes for this time of year. You don't actually have to be attending any sort of school (RL or SL) to appreciate these treats of course, just have an eye for fashion and the ability to enjoy checking out various stores looking for rainbows. They are $0L - $5L so very affordable, and I've enjoyed the prior rounds of this hunt too so it was no surprise that I found plenty of prizes that tickled my fancy :) I know I mentioned fashion but there are also prizes of home decor and lots of accessories to add to the clothing to bring an outfit together, so be sure to peek at all the prize images on the website where you'll also find the landmarks and prices. This just might be a great idea to plan for part of your weekend :)

My first look has two prizes that are perfectly suited to each other, and for your next Potions class. The Adora-tions - Potions Princess Seren Crop and their Seren Skirt are just $1L each, along with a few other related goodies you'll see on the sign and the hunt site. The crop top says "Potions Princess" above a crown, cauldron, potions vial, and spellbook, and is provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. Our striped skirt will fit Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, and I love how its lighter color really picks up the hue of the design on the knotted top's front. 

I also couldn't wait to show you this $5L goodie, the [Ari-Pari] Kelcie Outfit. Its blouse and pleated skirt are classic separates in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD enclosed, with 5 colors for each piece so we get to mix and match. I've done both here, lol, as I cannot resist the temptation to try out all the pretty colored buttons and see what catches my eye. The plaid skirt had me musing that unlike many Catholic school survivors I don't cringe at the sight of plaid, but that could be because my last 4 years of school involved a solid blue jumper over a light blue blouse, instead of the plaid jumper of my first 8 years. Time also makes a difference, and it's been decades :)

The school students on the pattern are extra cute, and the style is dreamy with its turtleneck and puffy sleeves to keep us warm. That's a pretty good lesson for SL, lol, wear panties or some "upskirt Kurt" might go camming and realize you forgot. Yes, that is the voice of experience, and it's probably been a decade or more but I've never forgotten that lesson. 

My final look of the evening is a free prize from GoodVibes which is simply named Back to Cool. Its plaid shirt says "I paused my game for this" with a cute bespectacled raccoon taking a reading break. I'm facing a little bit of uncertainty about my weekend, as the housemate's car was in for repairs all day and then leaked when it was parked at my parents' during dinner. So back it must go, and it is hard to say what will happen. The plan is for me to go to the farmers market though if possible, which was harder than anticipated last week so I've got some serious anxiety happening right now. Part of me wants to go, and the other part is too nervous. I get how weird this sounds to anyone who's never dealt with agoraphobia, or even just anxiety about being in a car, but I'm pretty open about this being my reality. The panic attacks last week were upsetting, yet I got through them and am here to tell the tale :) I still have the sun rash from it though, so my main priority is sunscreen! I've had that happen before, thanks to being on thyroid medication, so I should really be more careful. Brand new, non-expired sunscreen has been obtained though and I'm all set. Swank-iversary Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a peek at several more generous group gifts from the SWANK Event and their 11th anniversary round. Join their free group and you can click all the pretty globes (clear with golden logo and number 11 inside) to claim treats of all types from men's and women's fashions to accessories to home decor and more. There are over 200 displays on both floors of the building to explore and appreciate, with some designers having multiple booths so you will wind up with more than one gift from several of them. Have fun and prepare to do lots of unpacking after you visit ;)

My first look of the evening is a flirty treat called *ASIA* LAURA blue. Our dress and matching heels with built in thigh high fishnet stockings are each included in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The fishnet panels on the dress are so revealing that I wound up deciding to add some 'modesty hearts' in photoshop (so they are not part of the dress, not in SL whatsoever) to tone things down slightly for the blog. When I do this, it's not a judgment or criticism, just a personal preference of mine. I love having a full outfit ready to go!

I mentioned in a previous post that V8 Underground has more than one gift awaiting us, and this is their lovely **GYNA ROYAL SEA URBAN STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** :) This gift includes the top, skirt, and heels that will all fit Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I wanted to call the top strapless meaning lack of shoulder support, lol, but it does have straps beneath the bust that wind around and are tied with a bold bow :) That goes really well with the bows on the ankles of our heels, don't you think? 

Next I'm feeling steamy in our [COSMOS] Cleo Outfit Set since it makes me think of sunny beaches. Well, tomorrow is time for chapter 4 of my dentistry adventure, so I'm taking the evening off from blogging to unwind from stress and nitrous. This is a simpler visit, removing the temporary crown and making sure we are still infection-free, then getting the permanent crown in place. I am still on the nervous side because I would be even for a basic cleaning, but I also know that I will be in good hands with kind people.
