Start Your Day with Advent Gifts
Hiya everyone! Today I have another special edition post for all of you, some Advent gifts that you can claim throughout the day. There are so many generous designers helping us celebrate this holiday season (Christmas, Hanukkah, Yule, Kwanzaa, etc.) with a wide range of presents to enjoy. I am so grateful for their contribution to brighten December for everyone. I'm also sporting the newest Truth Hair VIP group gift tonight, that is one group fee I have never regretted spending for a second :)
My first look of the day is a beautiful top from [WellMade] called Day #3 Gia Blouse. Their group is free to join, and when you have the group tag active you can claim the gift for free. It includes Belleza Venus, Maitreya, and Slink Physique sizes, with a HUD that offers two jolly colors. The style is lovely, with a wrap peplum type front and an open back.
This flirty dress is from Donni's Dollies, whose Advent calendar needs no group tag and is free for all. Today's gift is called DD Julia Purple Frost, and comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The texture reminded me of leather decorated with stars, like a galaxy.
What a vivid way to start the day! This is today's Advent gift from Entice called Find Yourself - Yellow, included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya. Please be aware when you visit that there are two different trees, one for non-group members that has all gifts for $25L each, and the other for group members (free to join) where they are free. Just find the correct date's present under the tree, they are each labeled with a tag with a number.
The Sissy Bar has presents beneath a decorated Christmas tree too, and these are free with no group tag necessary. Today's treat is their Halter Jumpsuit in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The design is just terrific for this time of year, with strands of lights trailing down both front and back.
My final look of the day is one of the gifts found at Emerald Couture, as there are three calendars there: one for group members, one for women with no group tag needed, and one for men with no tag needed. This is from the group one, which is rows of boxes instead of a calendar board, and is called EC Leather N Lacey White. The dress includes 5 classic sizes, 5 fitmesh sizes, plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The long sleeved lace shirt beneath is included in system layers and an applier for Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Even the matching shoes are provided, in Slink High and unrigged pairs. You can wear this without the lace shirt beneath, although I prefer it with for this season. If you have your mini-map open I can help guide you to the various calendars...the women's store building is to the south, and when you enter you can go straight back (still south) for the group calendar or turn right for the non-group board. The mens' is in their building.
Hair note of the night: Truth Hair released a VIP group gift called Teila, which is a full fatpack (all color HUDs) as with all their group gifts. There is also a stylist HUD that lets you wear each side in front of the shoulder or behind, and choose from 3 styles of bangs or remove them completely so you can wear bangs of your own choosing from the prior gift of bangs with all the color HUDs to match all of Truth's hairstyles. The crown is held in the back by several vertical bobby pins, which can be turned off and on by the stylist HUD as well as tinted with the accessories HUD. I always appreciate the versatility of Truth's styles.
I am not sure when my next post will be, as I have a few things going on the next few days and have developed a fun new health problem as I've been typing this post. One of my eyes is getting light flashes in it, looks like lightning in a long crooked line dozens of times a minute. This has never happened to me before, but my dad had a detached retina several years ago and I'm wondering if I could be genetically disposed or maybe prone to it from being severely nearsighted. I might be going to an eye doctor very soon, and if I can't see I can't blog. I'll keep you updated :) Have a fantastic day, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
