Le Fashion Whore
Hiya everyone! Tonight, as you may have guessed from my title, we are headed to a store called Le Fashion Whore for some treats to help us wrap up November in style. They have a group that is free to join with a few gifts currently available, and a dozen lucky boards that are for group members only. The letters change fast, so hang out for a brief while and your chances of winning something are excellent :) I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and am pleased to show you some of the group gifts and lucky board prizes this evening.
My first look is a group gift, named Le Fashion Whore - Megan Mini Dress. The dress comes in their usual sizes, which are Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and there is a HUD that offers 23 texture choices (a mix of solids and patterns) with 3 metal options for the rivets on the straps. Such a flirty style! Another group gift you can claim with that free group tag active is the Sookie & Jessica Fatpack, a long cardigan layered over a cropped shirt as well as an intricately crafted skirt. They each come in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, and each have their own HUD. The cardigan's HUD provides 4 colors for the cardigan and 9 for the inner top, while the skirt HUD offers 4 neutral shades for the main skirt, 3 metals, 10 for the panel inset, and 10 colors for the laces. You can get really creative with these versatile pieces, go wild with a different color for each part or create a monochromatic look.
To create this look, I paired a lucky board prize with a group gift for a revealing and clever outfit. The top is the group gift, Le Fashion Whore - Bianca Shirt, whose HUD includes 12 terrific texturing options in various colors. The one on the right above says Not Today Satan, a thought I have had randomly all too often lately ;) There are also ones honoring musicians, just a lot of potential to appreciate. On Wednesdays we wear pink...well it may not be Wednesday, but I am grinning while wearing this lucky board prize called Le Fashion Whore - Elsa Puffer Jacket. It includes a HUD with 2 choices for the shirt layer, solid or with the words shown above, and 3 metals for the snaps. Did you notice the plaid pink liner of the jacket? These subtle touches make all the difference, I love when designers pay attention to detail.
For my final look of the evening, I have another lucky board prize that I am thrilled to be able to share, named Darcy Dress. She has bare shoulders, a lovely neckline that matches the belt perfectly, and a layer of black lace atop the crimson skirt. Red and black is such a classic combo, and it suits this alluring style wonderfully.
Whew, it has been quite a whirlwind here! Thanksgiving dinner with my family was very enjoyable, and just as interesting as last year's...background info, I have 2 cousins who are my mom's brother's sons, and last Thanksgiving the older one revealed that he and his girlfriend had eloped in March, which his own parents were unaware of until this confession. Well, the younger cousin (31 to his older brother's 36) had a revelation of his own this year...turns out HE eloped with his girlfriend of a few short months that his family hasn't even met yet. Pass the stuffing and pass the tea, right? His parents weren't there this year so I have no idea if they know yet, but his brother sure didn't. I noticed as soon as he arrived (late) that he was wearing a ring on that finger but didn't say anything because I thought naahh, couldn't be. LOL! All I want is for the family I love to be happy, so I am being positive about it and look forward to meeting my new cousin-in-law on Christmas eve. She wasn't feeling well or she would have been at dinner yesterday. I can't wait to see who elopes before next Thanksgiving ;) Kidding!! My houseguest decided to stay an extra day so I still have company, but am glad for it because they are a wonderful houseguest and friend ♥. I had some leftovers for dinner tonight, and some more are waiting in the fridge for tomorrow, so I certainly won't go hungry any time soon.
