Footloose and FabFree

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to show you some FabFree group gifts from various wonderful designers across the grid. The free to join FabFree in SL group is the in-world component of the FabFree blog, which has been a consistent source of news and guides to gifts, sales, and events for well over a decade. They have inspired me on many occasions and I have always appreciated them :) All you need to do to claim these gifts is to visit each store, follow the red arrow/beacon from your map to the gift, and give it a click with your group tag active. It is easy and very worthwhile, as you can see from this post and from taking a look at their group gift listing on the website. 

My first visit was to [Sexy Princess] where I claimed their Mara Dress, a strapless mini with round cutouts at the hem and a fun pattern. The dress and harness are separates, each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. As you can see, I wore the harness on the left but slipped out of it on the right, to show you what it looks like without, since it really does look great either way.

Next we have some flirty lingerie from D!vine Style, one of many gifts to be found there for different groups. This is their Victoria Set 2, consisting of the bra and panty in 4 styles, each as system/BOM layers and Omega appliers. On the left I am wearing the sweets mix bra and country charms panty, while you can see the evening chill bra and faded blue panty on the right. Mix and match and have fun with these wonderfully patterned undergarments, as I will :)

I also visited BYRNE, who is offering a fatpack of corsets with coordinating panties for the Maitreya body. Their SooCatCorset2020-FATPACK includes 5 color combinations of the corset, each with or without the word FREAK across the front and all in Maitreya sizing, plus the black latex panties as a BOM layer and an applier for Maitreya and Omega. That is a fierce image on the front, balanced by lace and bows for a feminine yet powerful appearance.

I got quite a kick out of our whimsical gift from Dressed by Lexi, their ::DBL:: Pajama Party PJs ~ Pillow Fight Champ. The cozy looking sleep shirt comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing, and there are two masks provided too - over eyes and on the forehead (shown). I look like I'm expecting a competitor to pounce on me here, don't I? There used to be a popular gift to pass around among friends that was a scripted pillow that poofed feathers when you clicked to hit someone, which this made me think of even though I haven't seen it in years. Fond memories :)

My final look of the evening is the versatile gift from BWC named Anny Outfit. The dress and panties (they are under there, even if you can't see them) comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, while the shoes are sized for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. The choker and bracelet are provided too, and there is a HUD with a color wheel to click and tint the dress in any color you can dream up, and two texture buttons. The fringe panel on the front of the dress is such a fun detail, and always makes me think of going dancing.

It is a warm and rainy night here, and I am working on plans for my next few blog posts. There are many possibilities, and then a new month will be starting that will bring fresh rounds of events and hunts so plenty of potential. More Ishara Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a part two for you, with more of the Ishara Shop in-store hunt. There 12 free prizes are hiding inside pale gold balloons, which are a decent size and not difficult to locate. Their long strings help make them more noticeable too, just be sure to check every room both upstairs and down :) The prizes are mainly lingerie, and all include system/BOM layers along with Omega appliers to be compatible with most mesh bodies as well as classic avatars. I was secretly wearing one of these under my more casual clothing all day yesterday, and I admit I felt extra alluring and fancy. So to me, it was very worthwhile to browse a lovely store and find lots of free intimate wear.

First we have the flirty Omega Azahara Model 8 prize, that in addition to the bra and panties includes a boldly strappy pair of shoes. The clothing comes in system/BOM layers and Omega appliers as with all the gifts, while the shoes are sized for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. I think the dark color of the shoes brings out the dark ties of the outfit, and the contrast of white and black always draws my attention as a stunning look.

This sexy look is the Claire Lingerie Omega Blue prize, and includes the bra, garter, panties, and stockings you see here. Each can be worn separately, for example on the right I removed the garter from around my waist and its straps came off with it. There is much versatility with this daring set, and even though it is trimmed with lace and bows I find it to be not overly girly, at least not in a bad way. 

Two of the prizes are very similar, as they are different versions of the same impressive lingerie set. These beauties are Dayana Omega Lingerie V1 on the left and V5 on the right, and even though the Omega is mentioned in the name I can confirm that the system/BOM layers are provided too as that is what I am wearing here. The V1 is in black with pink bows, and includes shoes like the ones from my first photo above. V5 is a creamy white with the same pink bows, and their shoes are coordinated by being a matching pink. Each pair of shoes are sized for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. Such a sexy style!

I feel like this shade of light blue is usually thought of as an innocent color, but on this playful outfit it takes on a more mature vibe. This is our Amanda Lingerie 8 prize, with lavish details in lace and something shiny that could be leather or latex? Either would seem practical for the straps, but it could also be satin...I think it is up to our imaginations to decide that one. The bra cups are solid material but pretty much everything else is sheer, and it has all been carefully crafted to flatter any shape or size.

Ooh la la! This provocative treat, my final look for the evening, is a prize called Mabel Omega Model 10. Its vibrant green is accented by tiny white bows, and it is a mere wisp of fabric but certainly makes an impression :) This is the sort of thing that is highly impractical and uncomfortable in RL, but is simple and easy to wear in SL, so very grateful to have found this gift for my avatar to enjoy. 

It was an interesting evening here, as I watched the Stanley Cup being awarded just a short while ago (Tampa Bay Lightning) which is highly unusual for the end of September. We do live in interesting times...normally the preseason games would be taking place and the regular season would start next week as the beginning of October. I believe the next season will begin in December or January, they have not quite decided yet and it probably depends on general health trends in the USA and Canada. I just want people to be happy and healthy no matter where, and not just because of hockey ;) With that in mind, I wish you a fantastic day/evening, with lots of magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Ishara Shop Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a store hunt to share with you, from the Ishara Shop, and I think you will find it quite tempting. There are 12 balloons waiting to be clicked in the various rooms of their store, both upstairs and downstairs, and each one will give you a free gift with no group tag required. The gifts are mostly lingerie, and you will find a sign near the landing spot with a photo of all of them and images of the balloons too. They are a pale gold, larger than my avi's head, with a long string attached, so these are fairly easy to see and locate. All of the gifts contain system/BOM layers as well as Omega appliers, so these prizes should suit the vast majority of mesh body wears and classic avatar fans alike. Since some of the prizes are rather revealing, I have had to make use of the paintbrush in photoshop to add what I call 'modesty flowers', but I assure you that those are not part of the clothing inworld. I actually had something entirely different planned for this post until I logged in and received the notecard about this hunt, so it was a very pleasant surprise.

This evening's first look is a sexy dress rather than flirty lingerie ;) It is called Sole Omega Model 1, and in addition to the system/BOM layers and Omega appliers there are skirt panels provided in standard mesh sizing. The sheer panels are striking, and the intricate straps both front and back certainly caught my eye.

Those modesty flowers I mentioned adding to cover up a few bits and pieces, they came in handy for this flirtatious Omega System Metallic 2 prize. It really is a beautiful silver, and look like it has been handcrafted to fit your body very precisely. Like all of these prizes, it consists of system/BOM layers and Omega appliers.

Next I am blossoming with the Omega Cher Model 6 lingerie set, in a pretty pink shade with delicate roses on each bra cup. Because the panties are crotchless, I had to use a modesty flower down below instead of up top where I usually wind up placing them. That is not part of the clothing at all, so when you find the balloon and claim your prize it will be uncensored :)

Two of the prizes were different varieties of the same outfit, so I decided to show them both in the same photo. On the left is Lace Omega Model 4, in a bold purple shade, while Lace Omega Model 9 is the lime green treat on the right. Each are provided in system/BOM layers and Omega appliers, and yes I did add modesty flowers to the top on the left because the material is fairly see-through. 

For my final look of the evening, I slipped into the prize called Aitana Omega Sys V2. It includes the lace-trimmed lingerie (system/BOM and Omega) along with matching racy red wedge heels, in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. They look terrific together, and that sizzling shade of red always makes me feel especially alluring. 

Wow, the weekend is over already! Somehow this one felt fast, which is rare these days. I had a nice video chat with my grandmother for her 94th birthday, just a few days late, and she seems to be doing really well. She received a lot of birthday cards in the mail, which she loved, and my parents gave her a gift from me that she really needed and enjoyed. I feel bad not visiting her in person, but can't bring myself to risk even the tiniest chance that it would harm her. The rest of the day was fairly normal, and I don't have any major plans for the week ahead so I will simply let it unfold naturally. Still Feeling Sassy

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a few more treats for the *BSASSY* group, free to join and with dozens of available gifts waiting for you. The selection is generally chic and flirty in style, so if that sounds like your type of clothing I suggest it is very worthwhile to stop by. Even the older gifts from 2016 or so have sizes for mesh bodies as well as classic avatars in many cases, and are very appealing. I have some longtime favorite items in my inventory that are certainly not the newest fashions, but as long as they work with my avatar then I will gladly wear them :) This probably explains why I appreciate so much having former group gifts available to claim and not just the newest one. 

My first look is so welcomed for this autumn season with those richly colored leaves scattered about on creamy tan satin. The red string looped through the front and tied so sweetly is what drew my attention to the colors in the texture, really bringing things together nicely. Time is really flying this evening, and I am being a bit slower than I'd like. I had a nice day so far, and have a few random ideas for upcoming blog posts that I am looking forward to exploring. Be Sassy This Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I chose some more group gifts from *BSASSY*, whose store group is free to join and they have dozens of treats you can claim. There are lots of dresses and outfits, I believe the gifts are released monthly with a few bonuses along the way, and the store has been open for a few years so the gifts have added up :) I am very grateful that they are all still available, so we can find something for any season or occasion among them.

My first look of the evening is the Group Gift May 2020, a charming pants outfit with tied top and high waisted pants with sparkles drizzled down at the bottom. The bare shoulders and flash of midriff are appealing, while the rest is appropriately covered so almost modest.

This denim halter style mini dress has a bold opening in the front, revealing cleavage plus the navel and a bit below, for a daring fun look. This is the October Group Gift Skull Dress, and based on the date the enclosed texture/photo was taken I believe it was from 2016. In addition to standard mesh sizes, it includes Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The pattern behind the skulls is beautiful, I want to say damask but I think that's more floral. Either way, it look terrific in black and orange. 

Does anyone have exciting plans for the weekend? I remember a time when that would have meant going to a bar or nightclub for drinks and dancing, or even a spontaneous daytrip somewhere, but as I got older it became things like trying a new hobby (something craft related) or picking up an old one, or maybe experimenting with a new recipe. Hello Fall

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Hello Fall event by 35L Sunday, with lots of affordable selections and a group gift from each designer for the 35L VIP group. It is free to join, and I really appreciate the wide range of goodies in the various gift boxes, from clothing and accessories to home decor. Some are seasonally themed, others are suited for any time of year, and all are thoughtful gifts to help us welcome autumn. The event is only open until the 30th, so time is of the essence if you wish to claim these fantastic gifts.

First we have the {Melt} Hello Fall dress, a beautiful golden mini dress with spaghetti straps and a gently gathered style. The pattern is delightful for autumn, isn't it? The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

This gift from BWC is called Sexy Nightie, and it has a flirty secret...one of the 6 color choices on the HUD is completely sheer lace! The others change the color of the satin layer beneath the lace, and have sheer sections as you can see above. There are fitmesh standard sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions.

This is actually a trio of 35L Sunday group gifts, one of which is surprisingly revealing ;) The top on the left is from Eternal Limited and called ETLD Hello Fall Gift Top. It is a rather low cut tube top with ruffled lower edge, in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. On the right I am wearing the ::FF:: Top Suki White courtesy of Fatal Fashion. This one-shouldered tank top comes in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. Both tops look terrific with the gift from DeVon, their {D.V} Erica Short. This treat includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with a HUD offering 14 texture choices. There are 7 colors, each with or without an image on the right front area like you see on the right side of my photo. 

I really liked the way the DeVon shorts look with this top too, our group gift from Dore Papillon Boutique. Their DPB Monica Blouse - Tweed Drk Chocolate has long luxurious fringe on the front and back, and a bonus of sleeve options. There are sizes included for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, both for the blouse itself and the optional puffy sleeves add-on that I am wearing on the right. If you take a good look at the left, the sleeves are tight to the wrist, whereas on the right the addition gives them a beautiful full look.

My final look of the evening is the gift from the Angel Pink display, their {AP} Nair Dress. This super short halter style dress has a layer of lacy ruffles, and looks perfect to go dancing somewhere. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies, with a HUD offering 4 colors each for the top and skirt. The sparkly textures for the top can still be seen through the lace, and you can mix and match them if you wish. For example, that gold on the right is just as fun with black lace overlay, just play with the buttons to see what combination appeals to you personally.

It was a decent day here, and I am looking forward to the weekend already. Tomorrow evening I will be having dinner with my parents, and Saturday will be a farmers market visit that I enjoy so much. Feeling Sassy

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some group gifts to share, from the *BSASSY* store whose group is free to join. There are dozens of gifts available with your group tag, what seems like every gift ever offered based on dates over the past few years. Mostly monthly gifts, but a few were for a specific holiday with a moving gift or two. There are dresses and outfits that range from casual to formal, with all seasons represented, so you can imagine the impressive selection. Let's dive in, shall we?

First we have their most recent gift, the *BSASSY* September 2020 Group Gift Overalls. The top and overalls are separate pieces, each in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. Since they are separates, you could leave the top off and layer a sweater beneath for cooler weather, or get creative with any color and style you prefer.

This stylish mini is the *BSASSY* August 2020 Dress Group Gift, in a pale turquoise color with subtle pattern. The gift includes Altamura Sofia, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Signature Alice, Hourglass, Physique, Star, and Tonic Curvy mesh body sizing. The rear view does show a flash of bum cleavage, while the neckline dips all the way below the navel, so this is an extra flirty style.

I feel like the *BSASSY* November 2019 Group Gift has just the right autumn flavor to be worn today too. It is provided in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, all with ruffled hem and drop sleeves with bared shoulders. The earth tones on the flowers are what captured the seasonal spirit for me.

Ahh denim, a longtime love of mine...this is the *BSASSY* Thank You Group Gift Dress, although I am the one who wishes to express gratitude for all these treats :) It comes in a classic size for XS-XL, along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. The black lace trim is an appealing detail, as are the pretty flowers painted on the front.

My final look this evening is the *BSASSY* Group Gift Frass Dress March 2020, and I was really drawn to the intriguing straps both front and back that create a tiny ladder effect. The floral pattern on the top is beautiful, and the sky blue shade is a timeless classic. Our gift includes Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Signature Alice, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. 

It has been a long day and a long week, with time dragging and flying by in the same evening...it is amusing in a weird way. I had a conversation earlier in which the other person was trying to plan like tomorrow was Friday, so accidentally skipping Thursday altogether, so I know it's not just me who is confused ;) There are 2 birthdays in my family tomorrow (Thursday), my father and grandmother, but we are celebrating one Friday (dad) and the other Sunday via facetime, which is probably adding to the confusion. Born To Be Wild

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a walk on the wild side, thanks to the Wild Animals Hunt. It is a $1L gridwide hunt that has us looking for images of a lion (flat prim) hidden in each store, using the hints on their website. There are also some preview photos there, and all the landmarks so you can navigate from stop to stop. I chose a handful of these terrific prizes to share this evening, although there were many others that appealed to me too. I hope you find some that tickle your fancy as well :)

There is something so versatile and cozy about a tank top, since they can be worn with a wide range of bottoms and have a classic silhouette. This gorgeous lion is emblazoned on our prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., their WILD ANIMAL Tee. It is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. I am wearing it here with the blue jeans from my favorite Delizio marketplace gift, a fatpack of colors in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

This playful outfit is the prize from The Sissy Bar, simply named (TSB) Wild Animals Hunt. The sweater is included in standard mesh sizes along with versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The leopard leggings come in a system/BOM layer as well as an Omega applier. I love that fashion is cyclical, and I had similar outfits back in the late 80s or earlier 90s :) This is such a comfy style.

Cats n' Kittens Boutique is ready to reward you for finding the lion among their kitties with a hooded bodysuit called CnK: What's New Pussycat - Red. It has long flared sleeves and high cut thighs without being a thong in the rear, and I love how the wide strings for the hood are decorated in cat outlines. This prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

It is extra important to follow the hints for MystRie, since there are two identical lions hiding there and you want to locate the correct one :) This is their Tigress Top & Pants, which is the female prize for this hunt. Each piece is provided in a fitmesh M size (for classic avatars) plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. Tiger stripes look fantastic on a purple background, don't they? I love the contrast of the solid black against those side panels, and the way the panels widen on their way down to the cuffs. 

For my final look of the evening, I found the lion at Applique` Chic which contains this striking AC: Wild Flair dress. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous bodies, with a HUD offering 8 texture choices. Each is trimmed in either black or white, and they are really beautiful tiger prints in a wide range of hues. The style certainly caught my eye as well, with the bared shoulders and ruffled sleeves to match the hemline flounce.

Witches and Wisewomen

Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the free gridwide Renaissance Hunt X, whose theme is Witches, Wisewomen and Wizards. They were prominent in medieval times, then the new era of the Renaissance brought fear of the old ways so many folks who fell under the witch, wisewoman, or wizard description were forced into hiding. I do find history fascinating, particularly how individuals were affected by changing times, so the mini hunts that are a traditional part of these Renaissance hunts (and Silk Road, both organized by Historical Hunts) delight me when they educate us with notecards and links filled with intriguing details. The hunt ends on the 27th, so I do suggest you get started very quickly if you are interested! We are looking for gargoyles, which for this round are textured grey with red cracks that remind me of cooling lava. There is a picture on their website, and the first stop always provides a shoulder pet that serves as a sample and is said to help the hunt object rez faster at each stop if you are wearing it. 

One of our stops with a mini hunt is Mountain Rose, with an enthralling storyline for us to take part in and find several items along the way. One of them gave me the Female Witch costume on the left, and a corresponding male version. That gift includes the forest fairy glen witch top and skirt each in fitmesh M plus Freya, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes, plus a witches broom with familiar (not shown) that you can rez and ride. On the right, you can see the Wisewoman outfit, consisting of a top and skirt in the same sizes as the female witch on the left, with a medicinal plant collecting basket that I am wearing like a backpack. My apron is appropriately smudged for the hard work it takes to find all those herbs, and the tartan of the remainder of the outfit makes sense for the storyline of our adventure. There are several other prizes too, mainly home decor that you will see during the mini hunt.

Thistle Moon Designs has a fun group of prizes too, in versions for men, women, and even children. This is the lovely TMD Modern Magician in Ice Dress, and includes standard fitmesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. You will notice a beautiful accessory too, that is the Never Ever !! Necklace "Pagan" fem. Its silver and deep blue combo look so striking with this gown but will easily complement whatever else you decide to wear it with. That prize also includes a male version, which is in an equally striking black and silver combination. 

:.C!L.: is a terrific place to visit for vintage fashion as well as more modern selections, and they are offering a very timely treat hiding inside their gargoyle this round :) It is called Alice 14th century Blue Gown & Hennin, and has a few components to wear together or separately if you wish. The gown comes in a classic M size along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizing. The hennin is the cone shaped part of the headpiece, and the tiara w/ veil is provided too. I am wearing both of those above, and I suggest trying them each on individually to see how they combine to create the magnificent headwear you see. I feel elegantly noble in this look for sure!

Speaking of elegant, COVETED! has treats for men and women in their gargoyle that will add to your roleplay experience or any random day you feel the urge to wear them. This is the charming Raspberry Renaissance Gown + Veil, and that gown is gorgeous with its sweetheart neckline and golden belt to match the shoulder bows. Something else that matches is the veil, with a built in circlet to hold it in place in style. The gown is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies.

Witchy woman! My final look of the evening is our prize from Kitty Creation, named Witches, Wisewomen and Wizards Female after the hunt's theme. There is a male prize provided in the same gargoyle, so this gift is suitable for all. Our hooded gown comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and the prize also includes a simple sleek hairstyle for each size in a light brown shade. I decided to stick with the hair I was wearing since it worked well with the hood, but I do appreciate that the option is there since some hairstyles simply do not cooperate with hats or hoods. I have always been very fond of purple, particularly when combined with black, so this has an extra appeal simply for that reason :) 

Today felt like a more efficient day, since I am not running ridiculously behind my usual schedule, and I had no bizarre dreams to linger and distract me all day like I did yesterday. The weather is getting cooler, so I am wearing longer sleeves and just more clothing in general like slipper-socks. I do enjoy autumn, so I am happy that it is arriving here in RL.
