Mouse Story
Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited the Mouse Story store, where you can join their free group and claim several terrific group gifts and win prizes from the group's lucky boards. All of this post's looks feature group gifts, as I was not particularly lucky with those boards yet ;) There are outfits and separates, and even a couple sets of nails to wear instead of your default nails with fancy manicures all ready for you. The current September gift is surrounded by all the other available gifts, then the wall to their right has the lucky boards you can check for your initial.
First we take a look at the Mouse * Gift September, a well coordinated tied tank top and mini skirt. Each piece comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I got a kick out of the Rolling Stones style tongue, which can easily be a weekend mood.
I kept the September skirt on to wear as a 'bottom' for this Mouse * Gift July Women top. There is a men's shirt with the same print on a full length shirt, but as you can see the ladies' treat is cropped just enough to reveal a touch of underboob. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies.
Ooh, more pink! This flirty mini is the Mouse * Mini Dress * June Gift, with a brief hemline and a revealing rear view. It is provided in Altamura Sofia, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature Alice, Star Body, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. The entire back is laced together like a corset, with a sassy little bow at the bottom, and I am thinking it would be a good idea to find a matching pair of panties for modesty when wearing this in public :)
Among the many group gifts, I was pleased to find this Mouse * Eminna Body * Black bodysuit, a sheer and detailed look crafted with fishnet and embroidery. It comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature Alice mesh bodies.
My final look of the evening combines three generous group gifts. The top is the Mouse * Hoodie Black Love, with fiery LOVE and heart on the front beneath the bright yellow hood strings. It comes in a classic M size along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizes. Our gem-encrusted pants are the Mouse * Jeans Spring Gift, cuffed and distressed pale jeans in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies plus classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars. I embedded a closeup view of my nails so you could get a better look, as they are a group gift too...the Mouse * Bento Nails * May Gift. These nails include Maitreya and Slink versions, just use your body's HUD to hide the nails built into the body's hands and then add these beauties. They are slightly see-through, soft pink with pastel hearts scattered along the length.
It has been an emotional day with a lot of grim news, so I am trying to process things and refocus onto more positive things. Twisted Hunt has opened their End Game, so if it isn't too crowded I believe Xan and I are going to tackle it this weekend :) I appreciate the mental challenge aspect, although any parts that involve jumping or precisely walking on a narrow ledge are tricky for me with my neuropathy being so bad lately. Sometimes my mouse hand twitches and the cursor just flies wherever it feels like, other times it just cramps up from discomfort. SL is still usually an enjoyable distraction, so I try not to let that stop me from having fun.
