Halloween Sales Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several free gifts to share from the Halloween Sales 2020 event, but don't worry because you have a few more days to visit :) It is open until the 4th of November, and each participating designer is offering a free gift (no group needed) inside a carved pumpkin that is wrapped with a black ribbon. Some gifts are Halloween themed while others are more general, so it is not a problem if you have not visited yet and do not get there until after the holiday itself. I got the news relatively late myself of the event's opening, but am still very happy that I stopped by. There are plenty of reasons, as you are about to see from a random sampling.

My first look is the Lilith in Fitmesh for Classic + TMP + Maitreya by COVETED!. This shapely gown has built in wings and comes in the 3 sizes mentioned in its name. The horns I am wearing are an adjustable addition with a built in resize script. I used my Maitreya body's HUD to hide much of the body, as the figure hugging style seemed to hug my figure a bit too much ;) This is a great look for Halloween, but can also be used for costume parties or Gothic evening wear any time of year. 

Turn up the flirt quotient with this gift from *ASIA* called ELEONOR black. It starts with the long gown with double slits with lace on the front panel and a wedge in the rear, with bodice held in place by straps in back and front, in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. You will also find the matching shoes included, strappy sandals sized for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. such a tantalizing look!

Our gift from On A Lark is this charming *OAL* Meryl ~ Autumn halter style dress. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with earth tones that are terrific for this season, and you know I appreciate any pattern with birds :)

This playful costume is the .::Believe::. Devil Set, yours for free just by clicking the pumpkin at their display. It includes the dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, as well as the horns, gold necklace, and even the pitchfork I am holding. My final look of the evening is our female gift from Uncontrollably, called [UNC] Rebel Romper - Sugar Skull 4 Colors HUD. I did specify female because there is also a male gift in that same pumpkin :) The romper comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. As the name suggests, there is also a HUD with 4 colors to choose from for the bottom of the romper, all with the same image on its front. Sugar skulls are such beautiful, artistic creations and I admire all the fine details.

Hooray for the weekend! :) I am really glad it's here, and I'm looking forward to the farmers market tomorrow which will have all sorts of tasty goodies. One of the ways they are celebrating Halloween there is to give a special treat to all dogs that are in costumes, which I cannot wait to see. As long as they don't mind wearing the outfits, it will be wonderful to see them enjoying the somewhat chilly but sunny day. Even though I don't have a dog myself, I love them and am grateful for a chance to watch them having fun. Two people at the market bake dog treats, so I have no idea which one is providing these treats or if maybe they both are giving them to the other vendors to distribute. One makes exclusively dog treats, the other is a baker for humans who just recently added dog biscuits to her lineup. Almost Halloween

It has been a long day here...a chronic health issue is flaring, and the increased pain makes it a bit difficult to type. I am slow and awkward, but I am trying my best :) Tomorrow is my usual dinner with my parents, then a Saturday trip to the farmers market will be my only other outing for the weekend. I have clean masks ready to be worn, and I am wondering if having pleasant plans to look forward to will be an effective distraction so I can focus on things other than discomfort.  Hiya everyone! Tonight it is my pleasure to share a few more group gifts from Poet's Heart. They specialize in roleplay and fantasy wear for the Maitreya mesh body, and I am very impressed with their generous bounty of group gifts! Their group is free to join by the way, so you can understand why I am so grateful and eager to pass along the information about their many high quality gifts.

First we take a look at the beautiful Poet's Heart - Karoliina Group Gift, which includes the gown and separate sleeves each fitting the Maitreya mesh body. The drop V waist and gentle train are lovely details, and the ability to wear with or without the detached puffy sleeves make it extra versatile. 

If you are going somewhere for Halloween and need a costume, and were thinking of being a stunning sea creature, I would love to suggest this Poet's Heart - Ocean Soul V2 Group Gift. Quick hair note of the night: Truth Hair released their Forever group gift, and it had been quite a while since their last release so I am glad to see that all is well and they are still able to create such awesome hair. The bangs are an optional attachment, and the sleek waist-length ponytail can be worn to either side or all to the back as I have here, with the stylist tab of any of the color HUDs included. The VIP gifts are always fatpacks with all their colors, so the fee to join more than pays for itself with a single gift. Be sure to get the updated version from the group notices, as there was a glitch with the bangs in the first one that was sent to the group.

Gifts of a Poet's Heart

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some delightful group gifts to share, all from Poet's Heart which specializes in roleplay and fantasy clothing. I figure that is close enough to Halloween costumes, right? :) There are over a dozen gifts available for all who join their free group, and most are created for the Maitreya mesh body. I had a wonderful time trying on all of the gifts, and I can't wait to tell you all about the various options for each.

First we have the elegant Poet's Heart - Aerin Group Gift. It includes the gown, overskirt, sleeves, and belt all as separate pieces in a Maitreya size, so you can wear all at once as I did on the left or just wear one at a time until you create the look you desire. On the right I am wearing the gown and belt, but no overskirt or sleeves. 

Next I changed into the Poet's Heart - Carmelita Group Gift, another treat designed with the Maitreya body in mind. It includes the gown, overskirt, and ruffles that serve as off-shoulder sleeves, all of which I am wearing on the left. On the right I wanted to show you the gown on its own, sleek and strapless. The deep golden yellow color has a cheerful quality that I greatly appreciate.

This timeless beauty is the Poet's Heart - Granny's Garden Group Gift. Its dress and separate sleeves both fit the Maitreya body, and I love having a full length gown decorated in such pretty flowers. It looks just as terrific with or without those sleeves of course, so it just depends on your mood :)

I certainly thought of Halloween when I slipped into this next gift :) It's called Poet's Heart - Follower - Ghost, and includes a Maitreya sized robe as well as a cowl (head covering) that is not shown because my hair was not playing nicely with it. The splashes of suspicious red liquid add to its spooky factor, and I think a white hairstyle with extra pale skin would suit this very well.

My final look of the evening is the Poet's Heart - Siobhan Group Gift, in several shades of my favorite color. The skirt and 2 versions of the blouse, with or without sleeves, are all fitted for the Maitreya body. I think the version with sleeves has a Boho feeling, and the length of the skirt makes it very nice for this time of year when there are still warm days to enjoy.

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring some FabFree group gifts, which is the inworld presence of the Fabulously Free in SL blog. It was not a completely random choice on my part, but because I had recently seen that a group gift was added to the list that is Halloween themed so the timing seemed right. I have been grateful to FabFree since my earliest days in SL (2007) since they have always provided helpful information about freebies, sales, special events and much more. Their group will always have a place among my precious group slots :) There are so many participating designers who offer gifts especially for the FabFree group members, just wear your "I am Fabulous" group tag to each store and look for the rainbow striped FabFree sign.

My first stop was Brii Underground, where among the many gifts for various groups, I found this lovely Mayda Blue Version Loisirs Style Complet. Thanks to some quick googling, I now know that loisirs is French for leisure, which makes sense for a casually charming outfit. The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with matching heels in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High fits. Included but not shown is an Omega applier of makeup designed for Catwa heads, so if your mesh head is compatible with Omega it is worth a try.

As promised, next we have a gift that is ideal for this time of year from *MIRUS* called Bat Blouse. This cropped knit top has purple and black stripes accented by bats, and is included in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing. Hunt on Haunted Hill

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to bring your attention to another holiday themed hunt, the Hunt on Haunted Hill 4. It is a dollarbie ($1L each prize) hunt with hidden ghosts at each participating store, just follow the hints on the website to help you find them. We have less than a week remaining for this hunt since it closes on the 31st (Halloween!) so please be sure to collect the prizes you wish as soon as you can. There are other hunts with ghost type hunt objects to find, this one has his/her arms out under the sheet and is 3D rather than a flat image. Some stores have a sample on their sign to click for a hint, which is really helpful in seeing exactly what you are looking for. 

First we have the Waffles prize called *WW* Olive Orange Witchy Dress. It is provided in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a short tulip style skirt and tight bodice with spaghetti straps. I like the silhouettes of the witches flying on their brooms across a dusky green sky.

I am a big fan of The Sissy Bar and their style, so it is also a pleasure to share their prize for this hunt with all of you. The outfit is named Hunt on Haunted Hill 4, as they usually do, and consists of a cold shoulder style top with skeletal image on the front as well as a pair of cuffed skinny jeans. The top comes in a fitmesh M size for classic avatars, plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. For my next look, I visited MadCatCreations where I found a generous ghost who holds 2 prizes inside, one for men and one for women. As a random extra hint, this would explain why you might want to check the mens department and not just the ladies area like I almost did ;) This is their MCC - woman - Haunted Kitty dress, a spooky wrap dress with long sleeves, short skirt, and plenty of Halloween images scattered about a cloudy or foggy backdrop. [Ari-Pari] also has a ghost waiting for you, with a fantastic exclusive prize tucked inside. Sundays are usually calm here and today was no exception :) There is one irritating weekly chore that I do each Sunday, and otherwise I was able to relax and catch up on random enjoyable things. Weekend at Blacklace

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features more prizes from the Boo at Blacklace hunt, since there were so many treats to find all throughout the Blacklace Mall area. Three stores have free gifts hiding inside carved orange pumpkins (samples at the hunt signs) and I was very pleased with what I found. From casual to formal to sexy, there is a little something for every fashion taste, and most are Halloween themed so this is the ideal time to visit :) The hunt runs until the end of the month, so just over a week remaining. I also went hair shopping because I was in need of some retail therapy, LOL, and was craving a fresh new look.

If you saw yesterday's post, I wrapped it up with one of the prizes from [TinRoof], and now I am starting this post with the other two :) The t-shirt on the left is their "Lunar" T-Shirt and the "Libra" is on the right. Each shirt comes in standard mesh sizes, as well as eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. The gilded images on the front are similar but distinctive, with a crescent moon on Lunar and a woman holding scales on Libra. That is my dad's zodiac sign, so I recognized the symbolism immediately :) They both look great with my favorite Delizio jeans, one of several colors available for free on the marketplace in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Omega and Maitreya.

~Blacklace~ is known for high quality lingerie, so their first prize of 8 is just as delightfully flirty as I expected. It is their Trussed lingerie's Halloween version, and the daring bra and thong are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. There is also a HUD with 3 colors each for the bows and laces of the bra, and 3 patterns for the fabric of the bra and the thong. This allows for a lot of personalization to get the look you wish. Because of the revealing nature of the laced bra cups, I had to add modesty flowers in photoshop after taking these photos, those white flowers are not part of the outfit at all.

Next I found this adorable ~Blacklace~ Jamie: Boo PJs, another prize that is just right for Halloween. The tank top (which says BOO on it) and cozy pajama pants (decorated in fun seasonal images) each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, while even the matching slippers are included in an unrigged version that can be easily adjusted to your feet. All ready for snuggles!

This tantalizing slip is the ~Blacklace~ Tiane-Halloween hunt prize, especially textured with the holiday in mind. It comes in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a HUD offering 3 color/texture choices each in sheer or non-sheer versions. The sheer part is the lace of the bodice, which I have as sheer on the right but not on the left. Either way it is still plenty revealing and is quite a treat.

For my final look of the evening, I slipped into the ~Blacklace~ Ava-Halloween hunt prize. Its corset and panties are each sized for the Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and a HUD is included with 2 textures each that you can mix or match. The one on the left above looks to be an old movie poster, and on the right are some grinning monochromatic skulls. Both patterns have the same black trim, which complements them both very well.

Quick hair note of the night: I visited Magika to try on a demo of their newest style, then started trying on others, and wound up purchasing their playful Lyric hair. Its HUD has dozens and dozens of colors to choose from, and options to part the hair on the left or right. There is a barrette accessory that you can hide (as I did) or choose from 2 textures for it, and there are unrigged bangs that I am wearing here because I do have a fondness for them in general ;) The short style is great for blogging since it won't hide my clothing, and I enjoy the loose waves.

It was an enjoyable day here, with good weather and a fun visit with my parents for dinner. I am also looking forward to the farmers market tomorrow, where the lunch this week is Mexican themed with several dishes made by a family from Guadalajara. I'm getting cheese quesadillas with their handmade corn tortillas, yum! I've got my mask all clean and ready, and I have another style mask ordered that I am hoping will be here in time for next week's visit.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue looking at prizes from the Boo at Blacklace hunt, which as I mentioned yesterday is a search for carved orange pumpkins all over the Blacklace Mall area. Take a stroll through the courtyard, the stores, and be sure to look up and down for over 20 generous free gifts. I believe I found 25 total from 3 stores, and tonight I will show you more of the ~EccentriciXi~ prizes as well as one of the TinRoof treats.

We start the evening with the ~EccentriciXi~ Riva Orange prize. Boo at Blacklace

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have an exciting hunt to share with you, Boo at Blacklace. It takes place at the Blacklace Mall, where we are looking for carved orange pumpkins set for sale for $0L. Now it is Halloween season and there are decorations around that are also pumpkins, so be sure to take a peek at the samples by the signs to see precisely what to look for, and hovering over any pumpkin you see will tell you if it is able to be purchased. In addition to the Blacklace store, there are two others with prizes out, ~EccentriciXi~ and Tin Roof, and in tonight's post I will be showing you a handful of the ~EccentriciXi~ gifts. My advice for finding all the prizes is to look around inside and outside of the various stores, and even up high on the outside of buildings ;) There are no individual hints, so I figured I would give a small assist. The hunt just started and lasts until the 31st, so Halloween.

My first look this evening is the ~EccentriciXi~ Chemise Fright Night2 - Night Sky. This flirty slip dress has one strap dangling off the shoulder, and the pattern is scattered with bats and stars for a seasonal feeling. The plaid is perfectly complemented by the black ruffle at the hem, and I enjoy the balance of long sleeves and a short skirt.

My final look of the evening is another wonderful prize from ~EccentriciXi~, this one called Dress Dusk - Yellow Ghosts. That pale vibrant yellow almost looks like it could glow in the dark, and really pops against the black background. All the ghosts look so happy, I guess they enjoy floating among the stars :)

I am very glad to be back to blogging, yet I admit I enjoyed having a quick day off too. The doctor's appointment went really well, and I got some helpful answers about various things that will help me head in the right direction.
