Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Palomma Plaza, where I chose some wonderful gifts to share from two different designers of the many generous folks who have displays of goodies here for us. We need the Palomma Plaza's group tag "Doves Angel" active to claim the many free gifts here, and the tag is a reminder of the Free Dove and its beloved owner, Palomma Casanova. Her loss is still felt deeply among her friends and fans in SL, and stopping by here makes me very sentimental but also soothed by knowing that her dear friend Shelby has a very similar operation to The Free Dove in her memory. The build is the same, the old landmarks even still work, and it is a loving tribute to her generosity ♥. I randomly chose the Maci display and Salesita's Creations (diagonal, what we call cattycorner here) nearby. My landmark should give you a red arrow to an area between the two.
My first look is a summertime dream, the Maci ~ Tropical Bikini gift. It consists of the bra, thong, and skirt, each in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. I love the idea of heading to the beach or a pool in this, then sliding out of the skirt and into the cool water.
The Maci ~ Tigra Outfit seems to be designed to bring out our inner wild animal :) The dress has a great mix of nature prints, in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu. The one-size-fits-all stole has v1 and v2 (left and right, respectively) for two shades of rich brown fur, and the included necklace is unrigged with a resize script built in so we can just give it a click to adjust larger or smaller. It all adds up to a look that just might make your partner purr this weekend.
Switching over to the Salesita's Creations display, I started out with the soft yet flirty GG Dress Mami. Its pale pink hue is contrasted by a tiger print waistband and coppery colored zippers down the front, and the top is two twisted panels that do show off a bit more than I initially realized ;) The dress comes in Erika, Freya, Isis, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The puffed sleeves are a sweet detail too, don't you think?
Next the GG Dress Priscilla *Salesita's Creations* brings a special dose of sex appeal with its intricate rope halter that wraps around to create a belt too. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD that offers 3 textures. The third one not shown is a sheer mesh with black polka dots, very provocative!
My final look of the evening is our TOP_ARCANA . *Salesita's Creations* gift, a charming halter top that hugs our bodice and falls just above the navel. It includes Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Tonic Curvy mesh body sizes, plus a 16 texture HUD that has several patterns and lots of solid colors for us to select from. Personally I am randomly in the mood for prints, but that doesn't mean I love the solids any less :) Just think, we can pair this with just about any bottoms we wish...pants, shorts, skirts of any length...we surely have plenty in our inventories already that will help it look incredible.
My day was good but ran late from start to finish it seems, like dinner was supposed to be 6:30 and my housemate decided to nap so we got there at almost 7:30 instead. My mom is almost too patient, lol, and didn't get upset but I was fuming. Planning the rest of your day around the person who is taking time to cook for you seems like common sense and good manners to me, and I did lots of apologizing on his behalf that was also the curse of being taught proper etiquette. Sigh. I'm glad to be here now though, and Xan and I have plans to work on the MadPea hunt some more this weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
