Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is brought to us by SWANK Events, whose current round is their Celebration of Colors themed Pride event. Not only do we get to shop some amazing offers, but we can join their free group and claim dozens of hunt prizes by clicking all the rainbow-striped flame plaques we can find :) They look like they were carved from a plank of wood then painted, and have a square in the middle with either the default "Gift" image or a photo of the contents. There are over 100 designers on two floors, many of whom have multiple booths, so you can imagine the sheer number of sales offers and gifts we get to enjoy. Among them you can find clothing and accessories for men and women, home decor, and much more.
My first look is the lovely [COSMOS] Joyce Dress / 20 Colors Fatpack prize. It has a deep V neckline, unzipped with a heart zipper pull, such a fun detail! There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD offering 20 dress colors and 5 metals for the zipper. I'm giggling to myself because I accidentally chose colors here that are very close to my high school's colors, and Tuesday is 37 years to the day since I graduated.
I also found this beautiful ESSENCE:Zara dress/fatpack inside one of the rainbow flames :) It fits Kalhene, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and includes two HUDs - hearts and solids - which each offer 20 colors in their respective styles. I used the hearts HUD on the left above, with tiny heart shaped openings that really add a special touch. Yet it looks wonderful in solids too, especially with that intricate set of straps that tie in the back :) The side slits on the skirt add extra flirt factor too.
Hawker's House is always very generous at these events, offering male and female sets of gifts which each contain several possibilities. Their *HH* Ladies Mesh Cartique Cropped Sweater Ecru package also contains the Sarai High Waist Pants Pink, so it becomes a full outfit :) The cropped and wrapped sweater comes in classic sizes S, M, and L, with additional sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. Then the pants are included in 5 classic and 5 fitmesh standard sizes for classic avatars, plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There's a separate box with the *HH* Ladies Mesh Ingrid Double Strap Heels that I found to be a dreamy match for the sweater in particular, thanks to both neutral colors that appear on them :) These fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mid height feet.
The third package inside the ladies' gift from Hawker's House is the *HH* Ladies Mesh Eyelet Ruffle Powder Blue/Pieper Jeans Shorts Acid Wash pairing. The top is just adorable with its summery style, looking breezy in that soft pastel hue. It comes in classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, as well as sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. Our denim shorts are low cut and have a brief inseam, with slight fraying to give that really cozy, lived in look. We receive a similar set of sizes for them - classic M and fitmesh M, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous sizing. I'm always looking for outfits like this for summer, so I am a happy magpie.
My final look of the evening shows what happens when you get to urge to drape yourself in sheer lace :) It is the *ASIA* NAOMI green gift, a daring dress in a seafoam shade that is guaranteed to command attention. There are sizes for Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink Hourglass mesh bodies provided, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 2 metals for the closure on the left hip. I will suggest adding panties and pasties if you are headed somewhere that would frown upon visible private parts, as I try to be respectful of 'house rules' wherever I visit in SL, and RL for that matter. I just happen to be in my private skybox while taking these photos ;) Honestly I think it would make fantastic lingerie too!
It was a calmer day here fortunately, and the housemate is achy as I'd unfortunately expected but probably didn't do any serious damage when tripping and falling last night. *knock on wood* The hockey playoff game was a blowout, but there are still a few games remaining (best of 7, now at 2-1 so at least 2) and I expect it to be more of the same exciting and intense style of play. The weather is going to be much warmer this week, so I am considering a salad for tomorrow's dinner after one of my outings for the week.
