Hiya everyone! Tonight we are checking out some of the plentiful group gifts at COCO, whose group is currently free to join. They have always been very generous, and I'm surprised to realize it's been so long since I'd shares any of these terrific treats here. I'm a big fan of their creations and enjoy the range from casual to more dressy looks.
My first look is the charming *COCO*_Gift_HalterJumpsuit_Leaf, and I am head over heels for it! Of course I do love a good halter style, and the flowy pant legs almost make it look like a long skirt from some angles. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I think it'll especially come in handy for the early autumn days when you still want bare arms but covered legs.
*COCO*_Gift_LaceMiniDress_Raspberry first struck me as ethereal, then I realized just how much skin shows through the sheer parts of the lace and wondered if there's a word for ethereal but make it sexy? In sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, it has an open back with the top tied in a loose bow at the neck. I really want to wear it as a coverup for a BOM bikini while the weather is still warm, and I simply adore the vivid color.
Next I paired two gifts together, starting with the *COCO*_Gift_FlowyCropTop_PinkNavy. Isn't that a gorgeous pattern? The peekaboo shoulders are such a fun touch, and the lace trim is lovely. We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizes in this gift, and I believe that a couple of those were added so if you already own this please check to make sure you have all the sizes you wish. Then I added our *COCO*_Gift_LowRiseDenimShorts_TealGreen which are folded daringly at the zipper :) I'm almost old enough to remember the original Daisy Dukes shorts, lol, and these might even make her blush! They fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies. Either of these can pair wonderfully with so many other wardrobe staples too.
I expect some of you may find this an even better pairing, mainly because of the green print and more casual style of the *COCO*_Gift_CropTank. It reads "Trust Your Journey", and boy oh boy, is that ever good advice! I almost jokingly said something about them having really good songs (Faithfully and Open Arms are my faves) but really I am in a place in life where I need to put more trust in myself and my future :) So no disrespect intended with silly jokes, as I do try to use humor to get myself through some rough stuff. It was a rough day yesterday with the dental procedure, and I'm still not feeling my best because of the general anxiety. Then I got to add to the stress by realizing that I'm hearing chewing sounds in this room again, which means I've got another mousey visitor 😬. It was the other side of the room last time, lol, so we still don't know how they're getting in or why my office is so dang appealing to them. I think my being nocturnal means I hear their nightly activities more than most people would. But good grief, it was so loud I thought there was a beaver chewing on a tree trunk in here! LOL! My pleas to the housemate to help me were mostly ignored, so I'm sitting here trying in vain to stay calm. It'll be a fun weekend of cleaning, as there are boxes of craft type stuff over there that are pretty heavy to move around. My mouth is sore but I know it'll be okay in a few days, and the permanent crown will be installed (?) on the 11th of September. Yep, that's a long time and an unfortunate date, but their lab needs 3 weeks now. I am always extra careful eating with a temp crown in, because I'd had them fall out in the past and it is annoying to make an extra trip there. I am most likely going to my parents' for dinner tomorrow, and then I will figure out what the heck my weekend holds.
