Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sharing several gifts for the Shopping Maniacs group, which is currently free to join and a hotspot for finding out what's new across the grid. The participating designers can choose to offer a gift for the group in their store, so I spent some time today exploring and checking out sales, new releases, and enjoying seeing what gifts in general there are waiting for us in each store. Please thank these designers for the freebies by considering making a purchase if you can and see something you like, as they do work hard and deserve our business :)
If hearing 'white dress' makes you think of weddings, you may think again in a good way when you see our Mouse Style #73 Dress White gift! This flirty mini dress is tied in a halter neck and at the waist on both sides of the fun cutouts, with an added opening in front to show off our navel. There are sizes for Erika, Freya, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included.
Coincidentally I went to the opposite of the color spectrum with our NILSY GIFT,ASYMETRIC SKIRT LACED DRESS :) This is tucked behind their desk with a few other groups' gifts, all worth checking out as with their midnight mania board and lucky chairs. This dress reminds me of a modern take on something you'd see at a Renaissance fair, thanks to the puffed sleeves and satin ribbons laced down the front. This one is cut shorter and on the diagonal, and is provided in a fitmesh standard version along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizing.
Now I'm amused because it almost looks like I planned the order of the photos to make connections from look to look, as this also has a bold diagonal hemline :) It's our Lara AC Dress Lotus Kala BLUE gift, which is most easily reached by clicking the Group Gifts shingle on the teleporter sign. The gift includes sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. I love the smoky, dusky blue shade and the way it is knotted on the left hip.
I also stopped by *Stars*Fashion* to pick up the playful Leire gift for Shopping Maniacs. It is a great choice for these hot summer days and evenings, as it consists of a tube top and distressed denim shorts in Freya, Maitreya, and Slink Physique sizes each. Then there is also a HUD enclosed with 20 colors for the top, 3 for the cords holding it closed, 20 for the shorts, and 3 metals for the attached belts and studs on the rear pocket. I had a really good time as always, playing with the HUD and seeing what looks I could create :) I hope you do too!
My final look of the evening is one of many generous gifts from ART & FASHION, this one being their VINTAGE SPRING GOWN specifically for Shopping Maniacs. The long mermaid style gown has a sheer texture in a deep garnet red color, with lovely daisies on the front. I love the way the back is gently draped :) We receive 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mesh body versions, plus the alpha layer I am wearing. My thighs were protruding through so I really had to hide them, but if you look closely you can see my hand through the body on the right side. Perhaps a smaller shape would prevent that, although mine is on the slender and petite side.
It was a pretty good weekend here, and I am pondering a few things discussed in therapy earlier. The fun thing is coming up with a name for my anxiety, and I've been pondering Bob's Burgers characters to see who fits. My week ahead is pretty much focused on the dental procedure Wednesday, but I will be trying another outing on Saturday probably.
