Depths of Winter Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several gifts to show you from the Depths of Winter Hunt, which is a $1L gridwide hunt with a 3D snow scene (logs, evergreen tree) as the unique hunt object. The website has a page for the hunt prizes and another for the hints, but both have the locations for the stores on them which is very helpful. Have one of them open if you plan on exploring the whole hunt path before it wraps up on the 31st, since there are no landmarks in the prize folders so the website is the source. This way you can navigate how you choose, any order and any number of prizes you like.

My first look is a beautiful gown from COVETED! called Malin Palace Gown & Tiara, which you can claim for just a linden by finding the wintry hunt object. The colors and the scale pattern really accentuated the mermaid style, and it is such fun to have a tiara to add even more sparkle to this fancy look. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes, and worked out nicely with my Maitreya body.

If you need something snuggly, be sure to visit ::REA:: and find this prize that includes male and female versions. I am enjoying the Janice Jammies Blue Stripe set here, a one piece set in standard mesh sizes that also includes two star pillows, one to hold and one to sit on your shoulder. The larger one that I am cuddling has a built in hold pose, and they are both a perfect match in terrific winter colors.

Next I found a great dress with matching boots at Robbie Roo's Whatchamagoos, their RRW ~ Warm Woolen Winter Hers (yes, there is a His outfit for the gents inside the same prize). This outfit is exclusively for the hunt, and includes the dress in sizes for standard, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP, with matching boots that can be worn without any special mesh feet at all. They really captured the theme creatively, with a warm looking ensemble that still shows off our lovely legs.

This is certainly an eye-catching prize, courtesy of C!L and called Mini Frill Dress January Blues. It comes in sizes for fitmesh standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Plenty of sizes to fit everyone, and the squiggles of sequins are so pretty along with the sheer sleeves.

You know I can never resist a chance to show off some magnificent manicures, such as this sweet set from CAZIMI called Depths of Winter, just like the name of the hunt. Inside this $1L prize you will find appliers for Slink, Maitreya, Belleza, and Omega, each with 5 glittery shades to choose from, ranging from snowy white to deep teal. The shimmer is actually subtle from a distance, but up close and personal you can appreciate the texture even more.

It was a very nice Friday here, delicious Thai food with my family and then some fun and games :) It is entertaining to get a few people with quirky senses of humor together and watch them just let loose with the comedy. Tomorrow is the usual farmers market followed by a few extra stops, all good things, and I hope all of you have something enjoyable planned for your weekend. Magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
