Grab Bag Fishing at Sn@tch
Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some fun treats to show you from the current Fish 4 This round at Sn@tch, New Years Grab Bags. There are 20 different grab bags to fish up with your 7 Seas fishing rod (a small one-time investment, I've had my rod for almost 10 years at this point and still use it regularly so it was worth every linden and then some) at the Sn@tch store. You can buy the rod there or anywhere you see the 7 Seas logo, the casual rod needs no bait so no extra costs. The grab bags are a generous variety of clothing and a few decor type items like fairy jars, so your home can be spruced up along with your wardrobe for the new year. Tonight I'll show you a sampling of the clothing in some of those bags, and remember that they are transferable so you can trade with friends to collect the full set faster. I have Xan to thank for helping me complete this set, as usual, he is consistently thoughtful that way :)
The first thing I should mention here is my new hair, from grab bag #1 called Sn@tch Carter Hair in Fades. There are two sizes of the hair included as well as the color HUD with 12 different choices, and as you can see the colors really have a great, shiny texture to them with lots of depth. My shirts are from bag #3 and are the Sn@tch Joie Sheer Tops in All Colors, which is a generous fatpack of 10: black, blue, green, pink, plum, purple, red, taupe, teal, and white. I'm wearing the taupe on the left, pink on the right. The pants are prize #2, Sn@tch Carnal Leather Pants 3 Pack, which includes black (right), teal (left), and wine colors. Both the shirts and the pants are provided in system layers as well as Omega appliers, so whether you are a classic avatar lover or enjoy sporting a mesh body, these grab bags have got you covered.
I don't usually mix different prints, but if the colors are similar it can create a very playful look. The top you see here is grab bag #10 Sn@tch Wild Halter Top in Zebra, which comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. There are even other patterns of this very top in other grab bags ;) As for the pants, I am wearing #7 Sn@tch Shiny Plaid Snowpants 3 Pack, which comes in black (left), white, and red (right) with black cuffs to match each shade of plaid. These are provided in system layers and an Omega applier, plenty of versatility to be found here.
There is another great hairstyle waiting in these grab bags, Sn@tch Jordy Hair in Naturals from bag #17. It includes two mesh sizes and the HUD with 12 shades to choose from, from palest platinum to raven-like black. I kept the Shiny Plaid Snowpants on in their white plaid from the previous photo, and decided to give you a peek at both tops from bag #11, Sn@tch Starla Sweater (Black & Pink). Each color comes in standard mesh sizes along with a fitted mesh version, and both colors have a bold star on the front that matches the double white stripes on each sleeve. With the shorter top, you can see the skull and crossbones belt buckle of the pants which is part of their textures and a sharp detail.
Just when you thought that the grab bags were a bounty of casual clothing, I get to surprise you with the very elegant Cleo Velvet Gown in Black from bag #13. There are standard mesh sizes, a fitted version, and sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique tucked inside the grab bag. I did not see a Maitreya size, but the Physique fit me remarkably well, and I think depending on your basic shape, that can happen that the two are similar sizes with some clothing. Just add your favorite shoes and a piece or two of jewelry, and you're ready for a night out on the town.
One last look for the evening, this entire outfit is from grab bag #18 called Sn@tch Weekender Top & Jeans (LIPS). The cropped top comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, while the jeans include system layers and an Omega applier, and matching cuffs too. If you plan on wearing boots, you can always leave the cuffs in the folder that day, or just feel like a simple skinny jean. I love the studded belt, reminds me of a studded bracelet from my younger days :) There are plenty of other treats hiding in those grab bags that you can discover too, like lingerie and tattoos, so I wish you happy fishing!
It is almost time for the busy part of my week to start, Thursday through Sunday are my RL hectic days so I'm gearing up for the chaos. It isn't a bad thing, most of what I'll be doing is enjoyable, so I'm looking forward to the majority of it. The weather looks decent, and that is a pleasant change for here.
