Blue Monday

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am exploring the So Blue Hunt, a $1L gridwide hunt with a theme of winter blues, "so lonely" blues, or can't stand Valentines Day blues. It has snowed a few times this month here in RL and is going to do so again, so I'd say I am leaning towards a case of the winter blues and am glad to have found some great hunt prizes to cheer myself. You will be looking for a soft blue heart that says So Blue inside it, with lights around the edge of the heart, by following the hints from the website for each store. One of the stores I visited, I realized I had not picked up the group gift or profile picks gift for the month yet, so I am showing you the profile picks reward from Moonstar as a little bonus. It may not be blue like the other goodies, but it is a lovely silver dress that can easily lift spirits too. I know my title is Blue Monday and this won't be posted till technically Tuesday in my time zone, but it will still be Monday in SL time so that's close enough. 

My first stop on the hunt path was :.C!L.: where I found the blue heart and claimed a pair of very pretty gowns, their White and Blue Prom Dress Sets. You will receive the Blue and White (seen on the left) and White and Blue (right) each in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. I may not have a prom to attend in my future, but you can bet I will find a fancy occasion to wear these stunning gowns.

The prize from Soju should chase away those winter blues with its sweet floral pattern and springy tank style. This is their So Blue Hunt Dress, just $1L when you find their hidden blue heart, which holds sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. There are several other hunt prizes scattered about their store too, so I expect I will be back soon and just might show you some of those gifts as well.

Sometimes a good way to shake off the blues is to wear something that accentuates just how beautiful you are :) This flirty dress is the prize from MadCatCreations called MCC - Woman - So Blue Hunt, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. It has a unique shape with lots of cutouts, and patches of dark blue sequins in the texture that make it even more intriguing. 

A great way to highlight the richness of the color blue is to add gold, and Moonstar has done that two ways with their prize called Moody Blue Dress and Collar. The dress is included in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The included collar has a resize script built in so you can adjust as needed, and there are black lace panties provided in a system layer and an Omega applier for mesh or classic avatars.
